Summary

Summary
Corvus has one job, to find Viren and Claudia and return them to Katolis to stand trial. However, when he finds Viren alone and wandering through the woods of Xadia it becomes apparent that this will not be as straightforward as he’d expected.
Death seems to have destroyed something in Viren, he is plagued by odd visions of the future and reality feels as if it is fraying around him. There only seems to be one reason for him to exist now, to try and change the fate that he has set in motion, but perhaps it is already too late.
The more time Corvus spends in Viren’s company the more he starts to question what is real and what is not and why the heart above all things holds its own desires that cannot really be explained.

Bookmarker's Notes
Read two chapters so far. What powerful, beautiful writing! I just pray the writer tells the whole story - I can see it is not completed, at least as far as the chapter count goes. My efforts to do Viren justice pale in comparison. This is heartbreaking, clever and beautifully put together. Wow.
