She’s about to switch her phone off to finally catch some much-needed sleep when she swipes onto a video that catches her attention.
It’s Alysa. She’s sprawled across the floor, hoodie half unzipped, mouthing along to a song that is playing through the speakers of a dimly lit… Dance studio? She clambers to her feet and rolls her sleeves up, shoving a baseball cap low on her head. All Amber's thoughts are pushed to the side when the chorus of the song hits and Alysa snaps into movement.
Her jaw drops. Like, actually, sitting in her bed, face lit by the glow of her screen, mouth open like a fish.
Because Alysa’s dancing. Like, really dancing.
