Summary
All their lives, Jack and Elsa have clung to their humanity to be included, to stay safe, and to protect the ones they love. It's hard to explain being lonely even when you're no longer alone. Will a chance encounter bring these kindred souls closer to being known.

Elsa definitely died in Autohallen and became an immortal spirit. She was also expecting another being like her and would have to deal with the blow of there being no one once everything settles down. I also think she's super powerful and we only see her scratch the surface of her abilities. Jack is the guardian of fun but his magic belongs to a very brutal element and I like the duality of his character in contrast with the other guardians.
This is a slow burn Jelsa fic because it takes a hot minute for them to meet. It is Canon compliant so they're not meeting until after the events of Guardians and they have a lot of character development to go through first (don't worry, a lot of it is summarized).

Summary
War is hard and cruel but how we choose to live and love is what will define us.
An alternating narration from all the people who have romanced Zuko. Starts at the beginning of ATLA and then moves into post canon (slight divergences there but mostly canon compliant). It's kind of a sweet and melancholy character study on how we grow to love and lose so many people in so many ways as well as how we are seen by them.
My heart lives for Zukka so that's where this will end up. For Sokka's version see the other work in this series.

Summary
Warriors loved to talk about his roommate. The chain had heard many stories about him, the mysterious, annoying guy who had fought with Warriors in the War of Ages before starting to live with him. They hadn't gotten the chance to meet him yet, but they were all looking forward to it. Even Legend, who Warriors was pretty sure wouldn't like him immediately.
Legend's husband has been missing for seven months now. He'd been on this quest for three of them, but each time he went home, Fable had nothing for him but a sad shake of her head. Ravio wasn't a fighter, and Legend wasn't an optimist. He actually would like the chain to meet Ravio, but couldn't bring himself to mention him when there was still no trace of him.
These two facts are in no way related.

Summary
For the first time in a long time, the portals drop the chain in a land that none of them recognize. The sky is swirling with shades of purple and blue, the grass is a pale periwinkle, and the birds in the trees are bubblegum pink with three blinking eyes.
Or at least, none of them recognize the land until Legend recovers from the portal, looks around, and curses loudly.
A slightly misplaced portal brings the chain to Lorule. In the process of returning to Hyrule, the other heroes learn far more about Legend than they were expecting to.
