Summary
There was a time when Mystic Flour Cookie believed that nothingness was better than pain.
There was a time when Dark Cacao Cookie believed that loneliness was the price of ruling.
Before he became king, before he wielded the Light of Resolution, Dark Cacao Cookie was only a warrior who had defeated dragons and still could not find his place in the world.
She was a Beast newly freed from the Silver Tree, but she had no strength left to fight. She had no desire for anything at all.
When their paths crossed at the summit of the Snow-Covered Flour Mountain of Nirvana, he had his sword drawn and she had her eyes closed.
There was no battle.
There was a question no one had asked her in a thousand years:
— What do you want to do with your life?
This is the story of how a king without a kingdom and a Beast without wishes found, in each other, a reason to keep going.

Summary
✛ JUDGMENT IS HERE.
The Ancients may have survived their destined Beasts—but victory came at a price. For every triumph, a shadow remained. Their “other halves,” bitter remnants of those titanic foes, refuse to fade. They linger in hunger and rage, waiting for the day the Heroes fall and the Soul Jams return to their true masters.
…Or so they believed.
For hidden deep within the forest, in the forsaken Witches' Cabin that gave rise to Gingerbrave and his youthful companions, a greater scheme simmered. From shattered lineages emerged four children and their enigmatic leader—the Beast Hunters, harbingers of the Beasts’ reckoning. The sins of the past came alive, setting an ancient cycle in motion.
Driven from their own domains, their pride shattered, the Beasts are left with one desperate refuge—the very Heroes they once sought to destroy. But even the Ancients may not be enough to shield them from the Hunters’ judgment.
Because this is more than survival. For the Beasts, redemption means confronting not just their new predators…
…but themselves.- NEW PROLOGUE

Summary
Now, Blueberry Milk doesn't despise the Recluse. The Truthless Recluse, Pure Vanilla, was only doing what he thought was necessary. Still, it doesn't stop the discomfort that makes his breath stutter upon seeing the ancient and the state he's in.
The Truthless Recluse stares listlessly at the door when Blueberry Milk opens it to peek in. His dark blue robes are gone, replaced with a dirty brown cloak. Bandages are wrapped around the man's eyes. The fabric of the cloak is the exact same as the scattered pieces of fabric he'd found in the Recluse's closet a couple months ago.
"You locked him up?" He shuts the door, finding himself unable to suppress the glare he levels Pitaya with.
Their tail lashes against the wall, denting it, but they don't seem to care. "After what he did to Holly? Of courssse."
Or, Blueberry Milk and an amnesiac slowly work out their differences.
