“So, what did you want to talk about?” Said Wilson sitting on his chair and putting away the patient's file.
“So I might have or might not have told the folks that you and I were engaged in a certain situation involving less clothing than usual and that we are also engaged!
Wilson’s jaw dropped to the floor and his eyes widened, he was really shocked, almost lost for words.
“Y-you what!?”
House and Wilson have sex at an abandoned warehouse in the hospital and it all escalates from there when the team starts asking questions.

They know now. They all know. This isn’t going away, as much as he keeps hoping to wake up from another hallucination. There’s nothing to do but bite the bullet - so to speak- and Wilson could be an ally. The conversation is happening, the secrets are out, and House needs to know that Wilson’s going to be with him, even if he’d never admit it he wants that. Wilson’s staring at him with waves of ‘wanting to talk about it’ coming off him like radiation off the elephant's foot and so, with an uneven sigh, House asks, “What are we talking about first?”
Wilson’s jaw sets, his eyes darken unblinkingly as he leans ever further forward, “Are you suicidal?”

House is no stranger to Wilson’s savior complex, his debilitating need to care and care and care until there’s nothing left to take. He bled his wives dry, taking their need from them until they had nothing else for him, but House… House has never stopped needing Wilson, not in the twelve years they’ve been together. He doesn’t think he’ll ever stop needing Wilson, and Wilson won’t ever stop needing to be needed by him. Perfectly mutually assured gratification.

Summary
The change in House is noticeable the second he steps out of Mayfield. For starters, he looks different. The haircut is new, of course, but that’s not all. He looks… Serene. Content. Like he’s fully present for the first time in 15 years. Wilson’s overcome with so much pride he nearly wants to cry.
He clears his throat instead. “You look good.” He offers.
And then, to his enormous surprise, House hugs him. A hug. Wilson doesn’t remember the last time they hugged. Maybe at his last wedding? Or was it the one before that? It takes Wilson a moment to get over the shock, but after a few seconds he stiffly hugs back.
