“We’re just having a conversation,” Hal said, like Clark was crazy for even bringing it up.
“In the showers?"
“Yeah?” Hal asked, scrubbing at his back with one hand. Frowning, he twisted around in the spray so he was facing away from Bruce. “Hey, is it on my neck? I swear I can still feel it there.”
Bruce leaned over, scanning Hal’s back. “No. You’re clear.”
(or, the time Hal followed Bruce into the Watchtower showers to continue an argument and nobody but Clark thought that was weird)

Summary
"Somewhere in the back of his mind, Dick realized that this wasn’t really the most comfortable position he’d ever been in.
Sitting on a very well-loved couch with four other adults wasn’t exactly ideal, especially when said adults had made it their goal to be as close as physically possible. The couch felt so much smaller, now, too. It used to be the perfect size for five barely-teenagers to curl up together and bask in each other’s warmth. A decade ago, Dick might’ve even complained that it was too big, but now, as Dick batted Wally’s hand away from his face, he thought otherwise."

Summary
A lot changes in a year.
(He hadn't even known it was a year. Isn't that awful? There's no way to track the days when there's no windows, no lights-out, no food rations. It was just monotony and trying to break out of an impenetrable cell and the eventual knowledge that everyone thought he was dead. There would be no rescue.)
His heart thuds weirdly, an offbeat rhythm that he tries—and fails—to count. His hands twitch when he's not focusing on them. His ears are ringing. There's a gash on his arm that he knows with absolute certainty will scar, but for now it's wrapped up in white bandages that feel rough on his skin.
—
or, Tim deals with the repercussions of a year in isolation.

Summary
As she uses a brush to sweep on some pink blush, she says, careful like she’s talking to a small easily spooked wild animal, “you know, Bart, how there’s guys and girls?”
“Uh-huh.” Duh.
“And there’s some people that aren’t guys or girls, or are both at the same time, or one at a time,” Jesse says carefully. “There’s nothing wrong with that, y’know? Some people say there is, but they’re wrong.”
“Get real, Jess. I came from the future. Of course I know that.” What’s she getting at?
“Right. And if you were…one of them, it won’t change anything. Or well, it would—sit still, Bart—but- oh, what I’m trying to say is, are you sure you’re a boy?”
“Stop making fun of me,” Bart says, leaning back, but Jesse grabs his chin and drags him back forward.

“You don’t eat bacon because tiger-brain thinks people are meat,” Wally says, just to make sure he’s on the right track.
“You say that like people aren’t made of meat.”
“It’s- we’re people,” Wally says, his mouth running without consulting his brain. “Isn’t that different?”
The look Gar gives him is half frustration and half pity.
“Wally, the biggest difference between pigs and people is opposable thumbs,” he says.
Wally has a couple brushes with cannibalism over the years. It's probably fine.

In which Barry Allen has no idea what to name his kids because Iris vetoed Luke and Leia, and Hal is not useful, and he ends up being a great dad anyway, if you ignore the part where he had to pretend the universe didn't warn him he was going to die. But hey, it's not Barry's fault that nobody listened to Max Mercury about the Speed Force until Wally got into the suit.

Summary
There was an acute sense of shame making its way through Wally’s body. He felt heat rise in his cheeks. And what kind of father, what kind of person would need to check constantly that his children were still there in the bassinet, would distrust the baby monitors, would surge awake half a dozen times in one night with a panicky feeling in his ribs that insisted they weren't really there? Not a normal one, certainly.
Or: Wally West is the fastest man alive. He's also a father now. Turns out he has a lot to learn from his twin babies. It also turns out nothing stays buried forever, no matter how much he wishes it could.

Summary
No one had touched Bart Allen until he was twelve years old. Well- that wasn’t quite true. His mother had touched him, surely, and it made sense that the Dominators had since they had kidnapped him. The lab technicians had definitely touched him in the process of hooking him into the machines. But that was so long ago, and he couldn’t remember any of it. Maybe none of it was even real.
The first few moments of Bart’s rebirth were cold. The wires dropped from his head, un-inserting themselves like limp spaghetti noodles. The blinding white of the Earthgov lab blared suddenly across his vision, replacing the green countryside he’d been in just seconds before. Bart had crumpled, a marionette without his strings, curling in on himself on the floor of the tank.
Or: an exploration of one Bartholomew Allen during Impulse 1995.
