Summary
Remus had finally done it - signed the divorce papers, bought a questionably roadworthy camper van, and kidnapped his moody teenage son for the world’s most uncomfortable bonding trip around the American Southwest. His plan? Find himself. Reconnect. Maybe learn how to fix a carburetor.
What he didn’t plan for: a breakdown in the middle of nowhere, a firefighter who dismantles all of his emotional defenses and sports a better ass than his ex, and a string of misadventures that feel less like healing and more like cosmic punishment.
Starts out in (teen) Teddy's POV, but most of it is in Remus's POV.

Summary
One year post-divorce, Remus Lupin isn't exactly in the mood for romance. What he is, is content to retreat into solitude, books, and far too many cups of Earl Grey tea. But, his grown son Teddy had other plans: namely, dragging his dad into the 21st century, the whirlwind of online dating, and the promise that no one’s too old to snog. After a few glasses of wine and some friendly banter, Remus has himself a dating profile. He’s mortified. Teddy is delighted.
In the end, Remus finds that once you go Black, you never go back.

September 1982
The war is over. Voldemort was defeated on October 31, 1981. Regulus Black discovered Voldemort’s horcruxes and informed the Order of the Phoenix, which destroyed them. When Voldemort arrived on Halloween to kill baby Harry, the Order was standing by, ready to kill him first.
