    UPDATE: 2/2026: This fic was basically just one big, continuous thought. It is chaotic, everyone is OOC, story is contrived and crazy. Please check out my new version "My Beautiful Betrayer" instead.
    I don't want to delete this one yet, but I may in the future.

    The year is 2024 and Vladimir Makarov is wrecking havoc on a global scale. Spec Ops from around the globe, SpecGru, even the Shadows weren't able to truly put a stop to it. His followers became even more extreme, even more dedicated the more Makarov was hunted. He was a living Saint, a King to his soldiers and allies. He lost funding from his main financer, Milena Romanova a year ago, but several replaced her once the news got out about her death while being detained at the War Tribunal. There were rumors that Makarov himself went to visit her and she was found dead several minutes after he left. He had no mercy or tolerance for those who betrayed him.

    Shadow Commander, Phillip Graves, grows restless and turns to a brand new biotech serum, one that is said to resurrect the dead. There is only one man they could bring back to help fight Makarov...only one who truly understands his mind.

    While hiding from the Empire on their latest adventure, the remains of Clone Force 99 learn about the Ring system, thanks to the kindness of a Belter scientist conducting research in their galaxy.

    Pushed to the Sol system as a result, Clone Force 99 find themselves going towards Medina Station and the Ring system, where the peace of thousands of systems are now faced with the risk of the Empire's ever-expanding reach.

    Lead by Transport Union president Camina Drummer, and the brash crew of the Rocinante, Medina Station soon faces the new and terrifying Empire, where they must eventually choose between ongoing peace, or returning to brutal war.

    No one is taken more then Clone Force 99 soldier and engineer Tech, who finds a kindred spirit within the Belters, from their innovation to their fierce independence.

    Taking place after Season 2, Episode 12 of 'The Bad Batch', and the series finale of 'The Expanse'.
