Jimin lifts his head, because apparently that’s what he has to do now to look at Jungkook. It used to be the other way around.
The moment they make eye contact acts like a switch. Suddenly he’s surrounded by the rich and heady scent of black coffee and burning wood, laced with a spiciness that sends a wave of thick warmth through his lower belly. His knees go weak and his lips fall open, a whimper on the tip of his tongue, heat rising in his cheeks.

It was too much, too fast, too soon. PJ was just barely understanding that she didn’t like Brittany so much as she liked the 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 of Brittany. She didn’t want to do the same thing to Hazel.
Hazel had finally gone back to being her friend. Her quirky, goofy, oddball friend who made bombs for fun and sat in seats with her legs sprawled out like a child playing on the floor.
She went back to being Hazel. And PJ didn’t want anything to jeopardize that.
“Guys, guys, guys—“ Hazel busted through the doors of the gym, scrambling over to the club with so much excitement PJ was a little worried she’d hurt herself. She was grinning like a complete idiot as she dropped her backpack on the ground and did a little jump. “I just got asked out!”
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵.
OR: A few weeks after the football massacre, things are finally back to normal between PJ and Hazel (after PJ avoiding talking about her feelings like the plague and Hazel finally giving up) and she's ready to leave the kiss and her complicated, totally platonic and not at all life-ruining feelings behind her.
That is, until Hazel suddenly gets a girlfriend. A girlfriend who, frankly, in PJ's opinion, is a total 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩.

Summary
Jeon Jungkook represents everything in an alpha Jimin absolutely despises. He’s loud, obnoxious, and so full of himself that Jimin legitimately wonders how he hasn’t exploded from his inflated ego yet. The fact that the idiot somehow managed to get his knot stuck in a sex toy would be funny if Jimin, in a moment of poor decision making, wouldn’t have agreed to help him out of it.
Or: Jungkook is stuck and Jimin is fucked (in more than one way).
