Fan Project
FusionFall: Ascension
This fan-recreation is based on an MMO platform adventure game developed by Grigon Entertainment and published by Cartoon Network known as Fusionfall. The game used the Unity engine as its client technology basis, and was one of the first major releases utilizing this technology. Furthermore, it had an E 10+ ESRB rating for cartoon violence and comic mischief. This is also dedicated to Fusionfall Retro & Fusionfall Legacy created by the fans for the fans. Thank you for allowing us fans to relive our childhoods one more time. Also, for starting a wave of new Fusionfall Fan Projects and helping grow the community. We Thank You!
Fusionfall Ascension: Beyond
(Omnitrix City, Day). Omnitrix City, the city that was created by The Hero of Heroes, Ben 10,000 to bring earth and the far reaching cosmos closer together, understanding one another without overshadowing each other, the philosophy that Ben stood by in its creation. Built next to Mount Rushmore, the mega metropolis had its fair share of skyscrapers with environments that were a perfect blend between human and extraterrestrial. There were flying vehicles, hoverboards with species from human to Tetramand living amongst each other. Kenneth Tennyson, the 11 year old son of Ben 10,000 was in his room, sitting by his desk, on call with his teacher Ms. Pearl over a holoviewer.
Dialogue:
Ken: “But Ms. Pearl, it’s summer break– getting assignments on summer break is unnatural!”
Pearl: “Kenneth, it’s either that or summer school.”
Ken quickly changed up his tune, becoming more enthused, replying; "Bring on the assignment!”
Pearl: “I’m glad we understand each other. See you next school term, Kenneth.”
Ken: “Yea, see ya Ms. Pearl.”
The call then ended. He then sulked in his chair, irritated until he heard his mother calling him from downstairs; “Kenneth!” Ken ran downstairs, asking; “Yea, mom?” but he already got his answer as his friend Scraps was at the front door, speaking to his mother Kai.
Scraps: “Hey, Kenny!”
Ken: “Hey, man!”
Kai: “You two are hanging out today?”
Scraps: “Kenny promised to show me a ton of cool places and a ton of cool heroes, Mrs. Tennyson!”
That fact was absent from his mind, being overshadowed by the thought of having to do an assignment. However, Ken knew that he had to make good on his promise to a friend, the chance to procrastinate for a bit was a bonus.
Ken: “Heck yea, I did!”
Kai: “Kenneth Wesley Tennyson.”
Ken: “I mean, yea… sorry.”
Ken: “Alright, let’s get going, the three of us can– wait, where’s Devlin?”
Someone then responded; “He’s with Uncle Kevin and Aunt Gwendolyn in Nowhere.” This someone was Ken’s older sister Gwenneth or as he calls her; “Gwen.” While Ken looked like Ben, Gwen looked like Kai with a long ponytail, wearing a blue tunic with white accents.
Gwen: “Welp, I’m off for my Spellcasting Training with Ms. Simone.”
Kai: “Did you tell your father?”
Gwen replied; “Yup.” as she walked past everyone and left.
Ken: “What’s happening in The Nowhere?”
Kai: “A Way Bad got out of the Null Void and is causing trouble for the Bagges. S.E.C.T. is there but Lieutenant Amanda has her hands full. I’m just on my way over there.”
Ken: “Dad’s not there?”
Kai: “He’s meeting with Dexter for the setup. I’m going to tell him that you’re with your friend.”
Ken: “Ok, thanks Mom!”
Ken and Scraps then left for their adventure as Kai went to call her husband. After telling Ben about Ken’s plans, she was then called by Ms. Pearl a few minutes later as she was getting ready to leave. The boys were walking through Omnitrix City passing by the multitude of people with Scraps watching the flying vehicles and hoverboards flying overhead. Completely amazed.
Ken: “It’s every time you come over, you know that?”
Scraps: “I can’t help it, it’s amazing here.”
Ken: “Dude, you live in Marzipan , this should be nothing to you.”
Scraps: “Well, I haven’t really went outside Marzipan that much.”
Ken: “Well, it’s time to make up for that. I promised you cool places and hero meet ups. So, where do you wanna go first– well, I guess you wouldn’t know. Alright, I have an idea.”
Ken activated his Omnitrix, transforming into Stinkfly.
Scraps: “it’s so cool that your dad gave you his watch for your birthday.”
Stinkfly: “If only he didn’t lock some of the aliens. ‘You’ll use them when you gain more experience’. So Bogus.”
Scraps: “Kenny?”
Stinkfly: “Oh, uh– climb aboard.”
Scraps did just that and they then took to the skies with Stinkfly announcing; “Next stop, The Academy!”
(The Skies, The Academy, Day). They landed on the giant floating facility’s campus grounds where Scraps climbed off Stinkfly’s back and as Ken changed back into base form, Scraps was taken aback a bit at the spectacle that was The Academy. The massive building had multiple sectors with people in armors of varying colours walking around along with the Academy’s faculty.
Dialogue:
Ken: “Pretty cool, huh?”
Scraps: “Yea.”
Ken: “Yup, I usually come here to hangout with Uncle Jonah and the other teachers– Uncle Jonah is the Headmaster here.”
Scraps: “Amazing.”
Ken smirked then said; "C'mon, I can show you where my dad trained me how to use the watch.” They ran across the campus and arrived at the front doors when Scraps asked; “Is this place still owned by… her?” A voice then asked; “Is this ‘her’ , the prior President of Earth?” The boys turned to see one of the Academy Instructors approach them, Ilana.
Ken: “Ms. Ilana.”
Ilana: “Salutations, Kenneth– and you are?
Scraps: “Uh, Scraps.”
Ilana: “Well Scraps, President Mandy was fortunately ousted from power after which President Argit took her place.”
Scraps: “Where is she now?”
Ilana: “Sadly, she’s now an intergalactic dictator, conqueror of several planets.”
Ken: “ Way worse than Vilgax but hey, The Galactic Front and The Atomic Guardians got it.”
Ilana: “Don’t forget The Off Colours.”
Scraps: “Oh. Well, that’s a relief.”
A large white mech suit with green accents and an Omnitrix emblem on the chest then landed before the trio. The helmet then opened up to reveal; The Academy’s Headmaster; J. Jonah Jones and again, Scraps was amazed.
Headmaster Jones: “Ms. Ilana.”
Ilana: “Headmaster Jones, I think the boys are here to see you.”
Ken: “Yea, we came to hangout, Uncle Jonah. I wanna show my friend the place where my dad trained me!”
Scraps: “Uh, hello.”
Headmaster Jones: “Hello, young man.”
Headmaster Jones Cont’d: “I’m sorry Kenny but there are exams going on today so I can’t let you two go in.”
Ken: “Aw man.”
Headmaster Jones: “Sorry. Next time, ok?”
Ken: “Oh, alright.”
Headmaster Jones helmed back up and flew off. Ilana consoled the boys as they sulked before she herself went back into the building. With their plans dashed, the boys began leaving the Academy grounds.
Ken: “Welp, the sun is still up! I have more places in mind where we can go, c’mon!”
Scraps: “Ok.”
(Downtown, City Station, Day). The boys were flying over the transportation capital of the world, home of The Travel Tower, City Station. On their way to Travel Tower, Ken was telling Scraps about a group of middle aged people that had defeated Father recently.
Dialogue:
Scraps: “So these people were once Kids Next Door.”
Stinkfly: “Yup.”
Scraps whispered the question; “But Kenny, didn’t you tell me you’d eventually lose your memories?”
Stinkfly: “Yup, it’s why I didn’t join– I would definitely wanna remember that. By the way, you don’t have to whisper, no-one’s gonna hear us.”
Scraps: “Oh ok. So, how’re they beating bad guys when they're adults? Should they not remember anything?”
Ken was momentarily stumped, replying; “Huh, good question.” They landed inside Travel Tower and Scraps climbed down. Scraps was instantly awestruck by Travel Tower with its many establishments, operations and the many people walking around. Changing back to base form, Ken got a little chuckle out of Scraps’ amazement, shaking his head.
Ken: “Soak it up, next stop is Townsville–.”
There was a sudden explosion coming from the streets below and a large crowd, including the boys went over to the tower’s railing to see what was going on. That was when the boys saw two members of The Justice Friends; Nightwing of The Titans Organization and Major Glory, the leader of The Justice Friends.
Scraps: “Wow, is that them? Are those the Justice Friends?”
Ken: “Two of ‘em, yea. Wanna meet ‘em”
Scraps nodded enthusiastically. Nightwing and Major Glory were fighting the supervillain Fearfang who was wearing a suit of yellow and black armor.
Fearfang: “C’mon, I’ll take you both on!”
Major Glory: “Shut up, will ya!”
Nightwing: “We need to end this before any more destruction.”
Major Glory: “Yea yea, I got this.”
Major Glory flew towards Fearfang with Nightwing following behind but not before he shook his head at Major Glory’s remark. Major Glory threw a punch that Fearfang caught, much to his shock.
Fearfang: “It’s just like she said ‘as strong as your average Powerpuff.”
Major Glory: “Sucks for you bud, cuz I’m not a Powerpuff, I’m Major Glory.”
Major Glory then used his Frost Vision to freeze Fearfang’s left arm. He then swung a punch that Fearfang blocked with his frozen arm, cracking that ice but also unfortunately shattering the armor.
Fearfang: “What the–?!”
He didn’t have a moment to recollect as Nightwing then came in, throwing a birdarang that struck Fearfang, blasting him with high volts of electricity. Major Glory then launched Fearfang into a parked hover car with another punch, knocking him out. A little later, other members of The Justice Friends arrived; Mr. KO, the level 100 hero and current manager of The Lakewood Plaza. Uppercase G, daughter of Capital G who shares his size altering abilities, wearing a forming fitting suit that resembled her father’s in both aesthetic and colour scheme. The superpowered primate; Monkey. An adult Goo who goes under the moniker of Lollipop Star, the superhero that uses her Imaginary Energy to fight crime. The embodiment of victory The Rasslor and the new Living Bullet who was once Kid Flash, another member of The Titans Organization. They arrived to help the authorities escort Fearfang into custody and with cleanup. Ken and Scraps went down the tower and were rushing over to meet with these heroes.
Mr. KO: “Yea, I’ll be there– is everyone else gonna be there? That’s great. Yea, see you tomorrow Gumball.”
After coming off the phone, Mr. KO saw the boys approaching the closed off area and went to intercept them.
Mr. KO: “Hey there Kenny, young one.”
Scraps: “H– hi, I’m Scraps.”
Mr. KO: “Scraps, huh? Neat name.”
Scraps chuckled and graciously thanked the hero. Ken was about to move forward when Mr. KO stood before him.
Mr. KO: “Sorry Kenny, I can’t let you by.”
Ken: “Aw, c’mon! Scraps really wanted to meet you guys.”
Scraps: “It’s fine, Kenny. If we’re gonna get in their way, we should–.”
In the middle of his sentiment, The Justice Friends then came over.
Major Glory: “What’s Ben’s kid doing here?”
Lollipop Star: “Is your dad accepting our offer to join?”
Ken: “Uh… no, sorry. Actually my friend Scraps wanted to meet you guys.”
Scraps: “Hi, it’s pretty cool to meet all of you.”
Uppercase G: “Cheers, love.”
Scraps smiled.
Major Glory: “Aight, I guess we could humor the kid.”
The young lad managed to get a council with the heroes, Uppercase G talked about how her father volunteered to be a mountain to protect people during the war, Major Glory talked about his time being the first Major Glory’s sidekick, Lollipop Star talked about her time in The Academy, The Living Bullet talked about the final battle and even the rumor came up about Beast Boy being bald, a rumor that Cyborg actually started. The conversation was cut short as The Justice Friends were then contacted by a fellow member Butch via holoviewer.
Butch: “Guys, I just got word from Coop. The Hall of Heroes has been compromised!”
Nightwing: “What happened?!”
Butch: “It got wrecked but it’s still standing.”
Major Glory: “Somebody wrecked our pad?! We leaving, now!”
The Living Bullet: “It’s been fun but we gotta go.”
Mr. KO: “It was nice meeting you, Scraps.”
Scraps: “You too.”
Lollipop Star: “See ya, boys.”
Uppercase G: “Try convincin’ ya Dad a bit more, yea?”
Ken: “Uh, yea sure.”
The heroes then took off with Scraps watching them leave with his wonder filled eyes. Ken turned to Scraps with a smile and asked; “So what do ya think?”
Scraps: “They were… amazing.”
Ken: “Hm. Alright, let’s get some grub and then it’s more awesome places and more heroes.”
Scraps enthusiastically replied; “Ok.”
(Downtown, Townsville, Day). The boys were in The Sunken Mall, eating their large haul of food that Ken procured using his father’s status as Ben 10,000. Smoothies from Mr. Smoothy to Chilli Fries and Burgers from Burger Shack, it was all there for them to chow down on.
Dialogue:
Scraps: “Oh, you were interrupted earlier, where did you say we were going?”
Ken: “Oh yea, we’re stopping by the university.”
Scraps: “For someone who’s dodging his assignment and summer school, you’re visiting a lot of schools.”
Ken: “You know about that, huh?”
Scraps: “We’re in the same class, Kenny.”
Ken chuckled nervously then replied; “Right.”
Ken: “Alright alright, I’ll get to it. Let’s have a little fun first, we can get to it after.”
Scraps: “Uh, I already finished mine.”
Ken: “Course you did.”
Scraps shrugged.
(Townsville, Townsville University, Interior). Eddward had entered the teacher’s lounge where he met fellow lecturer Dennis Lee who was drinking a cup of Cuppa Joe’s coffee.
Dialogue:
Dennis Lee: “Eddward, morning. Are you teaching summer school courses too?”
Eddward: “No no, I’m just here to work on the syllabus for next semester.”
Dennis Lee: “That sounds like you.”
Eddward chuckled as he began to pour himself a cup of coffee.
Eddward: “You’re going to the party tomorrow, correct?”
Dennis Lee: “Of course, we’ll all be there.”
Eddward: “How’s everyone, by the way?”
Dennis Lee: “The family’s great. My nephew is beginning his Te Xuan Ze training– Marcus is getting used to that life more and more as well. Meanwhile, Ray-Ray basically took over Te Xuan Ze Inc.”
After taking a sip of his coffee, Dennis continued; “It’s funny isn’t it? Considering the family I come from, I chose the simple life.”
Eddward: “Life can point us in directions we never expected.”
Dennis Lee: “Ain’t that the truth.”
A little later, Eddward was walking the school halls when he ran into both Ken and Scraps, who actually sunk onto campus.
Eddward: “Kenneth?! Kenneth Tennyson?!”
Ken: “Woops, uh hey, Mr. Eddward.”
Eddward: “What’re you doing here?”
Ken: “If only I had Chamalien unlocked– uh… alright, you got us. We’re looking for Ms. Utonium because my friend Scraps wanted to meet her.”
Eddward: “Uh– well, I’m sorry to inform you but Ms. Utonium is not on campus.”
Scraps: “I guess that’s ok. I mean, you’re a hero too, right?”
Eddward: “Me? Oh I don’t–.”
Ken: “Yea, Mr. Eddward and Mr. Edward and… Mr… Edward– all fought in the war.”
Scraps: “Really, amazing. So where are the other Mr. Edwards now?”
Eddward: “...Well, Ed took over Lenny’s comic shop after he retired and Eddy is in sales– calls himself ‘The Kyng of Sales’. They’re both doing well I would say.”
Ken: “Hey Mr. Eddward, could you show Scraps your arm, please ?!”
Scraps: “I can see them just fine, Kenny. They look normal to me.”
Ken: “C’mon Mr. Eddward, please.”
Eddward chuckled, then replied; “Ok.” Eddward lifted his arm and elongated it, touching the ceiling. What looked like skin split up into segments, revealing the metal and glowing circuitry beneath. Eddward noticed Scraps' amazement and smiled before returning his arm to average length.
Scraps: ‘You’re pretty amazing, Mr. Eddward.”
Ken: “Hey, maybe we can find Ms. Utonium if we keep looking around the city– c’mon Scraps. Later, Mr. Eddward.”
Scraps: “Later Mr. Eddward! Thank you for your service!”
Eddward waved goodbye as they ran off with a smile on his face. As Eddward was walking away, he got a call from Eddy.
Eddward: “Hello, Eddy. Are you still available for tomorrow? …Great.”
Ken, now transformed into Stinkfly with Scraps on his back, were flying over Townsville.
Scraps: “How’re we gonna find Ms. Untonium?!”
Stinkfly: “Easy. look for fighting and explosions!”
(Downtown, Townsville, Day). Somewhere in Townsville, a battle was going down between Princess Morbucks, deck out in an upgraded Fiber Atomic Armor and three super powered individuals. After much fighting and of course, explosions, the fight ended with Princess on her back, launched into a parked hover car. The three individuals then landed before the defeated Morbucks and these three women were the legendary super hero trio, The Powerpuffs; Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. Blossom looked over to a civilian, a middle aged Rigby who was in awe of the prior battle.
Dialogue:
Blossom: “You ok?”
Rigby: “Yea, I’m good.”
Rigby was on the phone with Mordecai who asked from the other side; “Dude, you there?”
Rigby: “Yea, I’m here. So, about that reunion.”
The Powerpuffs all wore similar form fitting suits with a red heart on their chests but suits also had their unique differences. Buttercup’s was a gradient of green, starting from a light and going down to a slightly darker green hue. She also had no sleeves, fingerless black gloves and a red sash around her waist. Bubbles’ suit was of a blue gradient, an exposed midriff with yellow flowers on her pants with sleeves that stopped at her forearms. Lastly, Blossom’s suit had a pink gradient, sleeves that stopped at her wrists along with a larger bow in her hair. Blossom’s hair grew to thigh length, Bubble’s pigtails were shoulder length and Buttercup’s hair stopped at her neck. A little later, authorities came to bring Princess into custody.
Princess Morbucks: “I hate all of you.”
Buttercup: “And you need to grow up.”
Blossom: “Seriously, I mean did you really think that you were going to get away with wrecking The Hall of Heroes?”
Princess Morbucks: “How did you–?!”
Bubbles: “Boomer and Jackie, duh. They figured everything out in no time flat.”
Blossom: “Like how long you planned all this, you using Fearfang as a distraction and even your motive. By the way, I can’t believe you wrecked the hall just because they didn’t want you to join. Once again, grow up Princess!”
Princess Morbucks: “Well, they should’ve let me join! Is it wrong to want to be a part of something?!”
Blossom: “If that person is you, then yea.”
Blossom then told the authorities; “Get her outta here.” Ken and Scraps walked past Princess being hauled away, saying; “See, I told you. Just follow the fighting and explosions.”
Ken: “There they are– oh, and all three of ‘em too. Let’s go!”
While The Powerpuffs were talking about AmiYumi’s graceful retirement, they were approached by the boys.
Ken: “Ms. Utonium!”
Blossom: “Kenneth? What’re you doing here?”
Ken: “I promised Scraps that I would show him the sights and some heroes and just our luck, all three Powerpuffs are here.”
Buttercup: “This him? Sup.”
Bubbles: “Aw, he’s such a cutie. Nice to meet you, friend.”
Scraps: “It’s really nice to meet you all.”
Scraps got to talk to The Powerpuffs, they talked about how they were born, their early lives and even the war against Fuse. It was during the conversation when Scraps noticed a ring on Blossom’s finger but didn’t ask about it. After talking a bit more, Bubbles announced; “Sorry to cut this short, little guy but we have a party to help set up.” The revelation of their conversation coming to an end was a bit disheartening for Scraps but he understood that they were busy individuals.
Buttercup: “Yea, Dexter’s been calling us all day– especially Blossom.”
Blossom: “Buttercup, are you going to keep poking at us until we get married?!”
Buttercup: “Yup.”
Blossom chuckled then said; “C’mon, let’s go before he calls again. We’ll brief Mayor Bellum on the way there.”
Buttercup: “See ya Kenny, you too Box Turtle.”
Bubbles: “Bye.”
Scraps: “Ye– yea, thanks for letting me talk with you.”
Blossom replied; ‘No problem.” before all three women blasted off into the sky.
Ken: “Pretty cool, huh?”
Scraps: “Cool? They were amazing!”
Scraps Cont'd: “Also, they mentioned a party?”
Ken: “Oh yea, the party. I’ll bring you to where the party’s gonna happen but I wanna show you another place first.”
(Downtown, Dextopia, Day). The boys arrived in what once was Tech Square, passing through a massive force shield that protected the city into what was now called Dextopia; a technologically advanced mega metropolis that was built by Dexter with the help of other heroes. Scraps thought Omnitrix City was the greatest place he's ever been to but now he thought that Dextopia might tie for that same title. There were skyscrapers that touched the skies with vehicles that flew up to reach them, Sliders all over the city with a Travel Tower of its own, although a bit smaller than the ones found elsewhere. While further exploring the streets of Dextopia, passing by establishments and holographic billboards, they happened upon a large building that read Test Technologies which prompted Scraps to ask Ken about it.
Dialogue:
Ken: “That’s Test Tech, the two sisters that created the place, used to work for Dexter.”
Scraps: “Really?.”
Ken: “Yup.”
They then heard something breaking the sound barrier overhead and when they looked up, they saw Johnny X and Super Dukey fly past. They were wearing improved and sleeker versions of their suits and the former now had a fiery beard to match his exposed fiery hair. They landed at the building’s front doors before they entered.
Ken: “That was their brother and dog.”
Scraps: “Amazing.”
Ken: “There was a time when this place wasn’t so amazing.”
Scraps: “I think I heard about that–.”
Scraps then pointed to a building that read ChenWorks and continued; “It started with that place, right?”
Ken: “Yea but Ms. Chen wasn’t the bad guy in what went down… Mandark was.”
Scraps: “Could you tell me what exactly happened?”
Ken: “I don’t really have all the details but… I know who does.”
Ken led Scraps to DexLabs, the most notable place in Dextopia as it was in the middle of it all. They then entered the building, arriving in the lobby where they ran into DexLabs personnel, Scarlett who wasn’t particularly happy about seeing Ken.
Ken: “Hey Aunt Scarlett!”
Scarlett: “I told you to stop calling me Aunt Scarlett. What’re you doing here anyway?”
Ken chuckled and then answered; “My friend and I were hanging out when Mandark came up and he wanted to know the story about Mandark .” Scarlett paused for a moment then asked Scraps; “What's your name?”
Scarps: “Oh, uh, I’m Scraps ma’am.”
Scarlett: “Ms. is fine.”
Scraps: “Oop, sorry.”
After Scarlett sighed, she obliged, telling the boys about the story of Mandark.
Scarlett: “There was a merger between DexLabs and Mandark, my boss and Mandark came together and created 2Geniuses Inc to compete against ChenWorks when that place came on the scene. As you can see that didn’t last long. Dexter and Mandark realized that as long as the world wasn’t in danger, they didn’t get along and eventually, a war broke out between them. It was so bad that it even split Tech Square in two, both figuratively and literally but Dexter managed to drive Mandark Industries and the man himself away then fixed up the place and that’s how Tech Square became Dextopia.”
Scraps: “It’s sad what happened but it’s great that Dexter created something so amazing from it.”
Scarlett smirked.
Scarlett: “Alright, get outta here, I got work to do.”
Ken: “Alright, see ya Aunt Scarlett!”
Scarlett groaned as she walked away.
Scraps: “Goodbye, Ms. Scarlett!”
Scarlett: “Yea yea.”
Scraps: "So, are we going to where the party's gonna be now?”
Ken: “Yup.”
(Purelands, Victory Meadows, Day). Victory Meadows was a giant metropolis built on the remains of both Huntor’s Crest and Hero’s Hollow and beyond what was once The Fire Swamps and Fire Pits that which were now vast land of greenery and mountain ranges with a flourishing wildlife of both terrestrial and extraterrestrial flora and fauna. There was also a Cryptid Keep Facility located in the area. Mt. Neverest was located in Victory Meadows and by proxy, The Hall of Heroes which was currently under repairs. There were also several embassies to the different kingdoms of The Regal Continent. However, what Victory Meadows is known for was The Memorial Museum, built in the place where Fuse’s Lair once stood. The museum chronicled the eternity of The War Against Fuse; the people involved in said war down to the person who saved the planet in spite of causing the invasion in the first place, the Imaginary Friend Cheese. Pulling up to the museum was the paradoxical Ronin, Samurai Jack, riding on the back of a giant turtle. He was there to help setup, greeting the others as he came through. Rex was using his Smack Hands to move around some supplies with Frankie, the current head of The Foster’s Foundation, guiding him. Even the reluctantly retired supervillain, Mojo Jojo, was forced to help out. Inside the museum was fully decorated, streamers and ropes of bunny cutouts strung up from the ceiling. Dexter, dressed in the usual lab coat but now over a button up shirt and a black tie with pants of the same hue, was helping Ben with inventory. Ben 10,000 himself was dressed casually with a scruffy beard and the Biomnitrix on both forearms, devices of his own creation. The Powerpuffs then arrived, meeting up with the two men.
Dialogue:
Dexter: “Good, you're here. You’re late.”
Blossom and Dexter shared a kiss before Blossom then replied; “Well I’m here now.”
Blossom: “Did you hear from DeeDee?”
Dexter: “She’s still on a mission with the girls but they’ll make it for tomorrow.”
Ben glanced over at Blossom’s ring and said; “Wow, that engagement ring really is made of Peppermintanium.”
Dexter: “Of course, it would’ve been destroyed otherwise.”
Blossom: “Plus it’s got a sweet smell which is a bonus.”
Ben: “Hm, pretty soon, you’re gonna join me and Kai in the married club.”
Bubbles: “And Professor Hex and Miss Spell, and Abigail and Hoagie, and Aidan and Bianca, and Wallabee and Kuki, and–.”
Buttercup: “Yea yea, a ton of people are married– can we start helpin’ out around here?”
Dexter: “Of course. Mac and Bloo need help with moving some supplies, he could use strength.”
Bubbles: “Okie dokie.”
Numbuh 5, or just Abigail Lincoln approached Dexter and Ben after The Powerpuffs flew off.
Dexter: “Hey Nu– I mean, Abigail. Force of habit, I suppose.”
Abigail Lincoln: “It’s all good, So, how’s it going on your end?”
Ben: “We need more Aborian’s Syrup so I need to call Chowder's. How about you?”
Abigail Lincoln: “The flowers got ruined but Grim is on his way with more.”
Dexter: “Any word from Nigel?”
Abigail Lincoln: “The G.K.N.D. got him busy but he’s doin’ good.”
Prince Ivandoe then entered the museum, catching their attention. At the same time, Finn had happened to walk by. His blonde hair was cut really short, he was wearing a light blue buttoned up shirt that was opened up, showing off the Jake tattoo that was on his chest and he had an improved robotic arm. He was carrying some steel beams over his shoulder when Abigail stopped him, asking; “Hey Finn, do you know him?”
Finn: “Hm? Oh, Prince Ivandoe? Yea, he’s from The Might Stag Kingdom– his mom just became a Head of State.”
Dexter: “I suppose I need to catalog that kingdom.”
Ben: “Seriously, Dex?”
Dexter: “Knowledge is power, Benjamin.”
Finn: “He seems cool but whateves. I’m gonna go put these down now.”
Finn then walked off with the steel beams, whistling as he did. Zak then came by, specifically for Abigail. He was dressed casually and his hair was shoulder length with his white streak running along it.
Zak: “Hey guys, Abby Rex kinda accidentally dropped some of the chairs.”
Abigail Lincoln: “He did what?! Where?!”
Zak: “On you and Hoagie’s car.”
Abigail yelled; “Is that boy crazy?!” as she stormed off. The three men chuckled before Zak followed after her. At that moment, Ken and Scraps arrived at the museum and the latter was amazed by the sights and the many different people that were around.
Ken: “Told ya The Sliders were quick.”
Ken’s words didn’t reach Scraps, who was sidetracked by the massive Cheese statue that was in the middle of the courtyard, a few meters away from the front steps of the museum itself.
Ken: “Hey Scraps?”
Scraps: “Hm?”
Ken: “Wanna go inside?”
Scraps: “Yea.”
They then entered The Memorial Museum, leaving behind an angry Abigail screaming at an apologetic Rex while her husband Hoagie was trying to calm her down. Once inside, the boys took in the sights right before they saw Dexter and Ben in the distance. Ken called out to his father as the two boys ran toward the two men with Ken running into his father’s arms.
Ben: “Heya kiddo.”
Ken: “Hey Dad.”
Ben: “Hey Scraps.”
Scraps: “Hello, Mr. Tennyson.”
Ken: “Oh yea, Scraps, this is–.”
Scraps: “Dexter– I– I mean, Mr. Dexter.”
Dexter shook the boy’s hand before they started a conversation while Ben and Ken had one of their own, one centered around procrastination, bringing up Ken’s assignment.
Ken: “Wait, you know?”
Ben: “Of course I do, Ms. Pearl called. First off, you picked the better choice. Summer school blows but c’mon kiddo, don’t you wanna go on that road trip with your sister and great grandpa?”
Ken: “Heck yea, I do!”
Ben: “Then when we get home, you’re gonna hit the books, ok?”
Ken: “Ok.”
Ben: “Good.”
The two then heard Scraps offhandedly say aloud; “That’s him. That's Cheese, right?” Scraps was before a large display of Cheese, an image of him that was encased in glass and embedded into the wall.
Ken: “Yea. Ya know, I’ve only seen this guy once.”
Scraps: “I’ve never met him. Where is he?”
Dexter: “He’s not on this plane of existence.”
Scraps: “Huh?”
Ben: “Basically, he’s not on earth but sometimes he visits.”
Scraps: ‘That’s what this party’s for, isn’t it? He’s visiting soon, isn’t he?”
Ben: “Yup, he’s coming tomorrow.”
Ben glanced at his son specifically when he continued; “I mean, he’s the major reason why you guys can procrastinate all day…” and Ken chuckled shamefully.
Ben: “This planet is still standing because of the heroes around you but especially the little guy, so why not give some props every now and again.”
Scraps: “I would like to meet him.”
Dexter: “Simple, attend the celebration tomorrow.”
Scraps nodded. Scraps and Ken looked back at Cheese’s picture and the former said; “I can’t imagine all that anxiety he must’ve gone through during the war.”
Ken: ‘Yea, must’ve been a killer.”
Dexter: “He had people at his side who gave him a chance. Motivated him.”
Scraps: “Were you one of them, Mr. Dexter?”
Dexter: “Not at first, no. It took a whale for most people to come around but when they gave him a chance, he saved them all.”
Dexter Cont’d: “I would like to think that my words gave him the strength he needed to win the day.”
Ben: “Oh, here we go.”
Scraps: “Really? What did you say to him?”
Dexter: “I won’t bore you with the whole speech but I noticed that the last words of my speech really stuck with him; The Time is Now…”
