Chapter Text
Four weeks spent in the hospital, hooked up to IV’s, getting bandages changed every two days. A whole month spent in bed, surrounded by friends and family, also banned from work.
Every night Bonnie woke up gasping for air, flicking on the lights even if the brightness irritated his retinas. Thankfully he never woke up alone. Since the accident, someone was always in his house to help out. That person is usually Freddy, sometimes Sun and Moon. Rare enough, Monty.
It took a while for Bonnie to get used to having one arm. Putting on a shirt was a big chore now. At least he didn’t need two hands to make coffee.
When he cooks, he’d usually use his left hand to grab things off the counter while his right handled the pan. He wondered why he couldn’t grab anything and then it hit him.
Right.. His left arm was gone.

Plop.
Bonnie froze when he felt the odd sensation of something rubber sucking the skin of his shoulder.
He turned his head slowly, facing Moon who was trying his absolute best not to laugh, all while he was inching away from him.
Bonnie looked down.
Moon had.. stuck a plunger to the scarred skin of his shoulder. And surprisingly, it stayed . It wriggled at every small movement though it did not fall.
“Moon.. you better start running motherfucker. ”
Moon was darting from the office, giggling as he ran past a confused Freddy and Sun. Their answers were soon answered when an angered Bonnie sped past them, plunger tight in his grasp.
“Should we.. stop him?” Freddy asks.
Sun shook his head, “No no, I wanna see this.”
“Hm.”

“Knock knock, it’s me.” Freddy's voice spoke from the void. No lights were on in Bonnie’s room. Pure darkness despite it being the middle of the day. Blackout curtains, Sun had insisted, for ultimate comfort.
“..Hi..” Bonnie murmured from his cocoon of blankets. Usually he’d have the fairy lights on or even the lamp but every light hurt even if it wasn’t directly pointed at him. The sunlight on the wall irritated him.
Freddy walked over to the edge of Bonnie’s bed. Just barely he could see the limp in the middle. It would be a cute sight if he wasn’t so concerned for Bonnie’s health. He joined and curled his arms around the barrier of blankets.
“This sucks.”
Freddy peeled the blankets back, kissing the back of Bonnie’s neck. “I know.”

He didn’t have a car anymore. The thought hadn’t hit until a few days ago where Moon banned him from driving. He didn’t have anything to drive. Bonnie didn’t even know if he could drive; if he could legally drive .
Though he always wanted a new car, he had the money now. Theoretically, Bonnie could live his childhood dream and buy a Camaro. And make Gregory happy and design it exactly like Bumblebee from Transformers.
It was an impulsive thought. He could.
..
He absolutely did .
Bonnie has a Camaro now. Custom made with the word ‘autobot’ engraved onto the sides. And yes, he smugly pulled up into Freddy’s driveway and continued to point and grin at it.
He also got scolded by Sun. But he knew his brother liked it. Moon liked it too because he immediately asked to drive it.
