Summary
Adora stood at the edge of her roof, her tank top stuck to her sweat. looking below she could see the strobe lights and flashing colours pulsing to the beat to whatever song was blasting on her back deck. She has never seen so many people in one place before. She used her extra time to study or train for football, she never went out to parties or events.
Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and felt her body sway a little, her body felt numb but buzzing at the same time, whatever that pill was, that Glimmer gave her was starting to kick in. Suddenly there was pressure on her shoulder, then again on the other. She opened her eyes to see Korra and Vi standing next to her.
"Dude, this is going to be a legendary party, for sure." Korra says with a wide grin and glazed eyes.
"The amount of numbers you are going to get. Is going to be record breaking too." Vi says smirking, eyes bloodshot with no white left.
Arms wrap around Adora from behind squeezing her tight.
"Happy birthday, Adora!" Glimmer yells from behind her.
Adora just smiles to herself, a happy birthday it is.
