Fanfic/fandom has been my love, my escape, and occassionally my entire life when I was otherwise too tired or ill to "people" outside of work. I've been around the fandom block a time or twelve (although I have yet to manage to "adult" more than part-time at most).

Toonami shoutout for intro'ing me to anime and manga, Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing's amazingly unsatisfying endings for pulling me into fic writing and reading, and Harry Potter for drawing me forever into the collective fandom-at-large (resistance is futile; I have been assimilated).

Recently, I have joined some others in wondering if, in fact, Katniss or Hermione's appeal to me was their probable belonging on the same a-typical spectrum on which I reside, and debating if my longterm fantasy marriage to first-love Legolas can survive my introduction to his seriously hot daddy, Thranduil. I do remain steadfast in supporting Kiliel, Everlark, NaruHina, a legion of other OTP's and alternate-headcanon 'ships such as AraWyn, LegoWen, HHr or HarLuna, and a few others I Didn't Know I Needed in My Life, for which I blame their respective fan-authors and -artists.
