Listen, just so you know -- I'm not going to buy your artwork. Okay? If you enjoy my writing and you want to do artwork based on my writing, drawings of my original characters or various events from my stories, that's fine. But I post here for free and I expect if you want to do artwork based on my writing (which you have read for free) then you will do the artwork for free. That seems fair to me.

Please don't leave comments on my stories that eventually lead around to you trying to sell me your artwork. It really really upsets me.

Just recently someone did this. Left a nice comment, asked if we could speak about something on some other platform, they gave me their Bluesky handle, I found their thread, of course they are an artist who does commissions. So they are praising my writing only because they are trying to make money off me. This really REALLY upsets me. I really want people to stop doing it.
