I have many interests & many quirks. I also have a bad habit of creating nightmare scenarios which occasionally acts as good fodder for my writing and the writing of others. This is partly due to my weird ability to run complex simulations in my head & can use the results from them at the same time as I play it out in my mind. Unfortunately, the ability also has... side effects.
The general side effects? Aside from a magnified personal horror factor? What makes it into my stories are not studies but an active evolving live simulation that I keep inside my head from where I started with base personalities, situations, & the occasional curve ball my brain just likes. At no point would any of it work at all if God Almighty weren't taking a hand to help me write. If I loose the simulation or even just a critical part of the data that makes it run in my head then the entire writing technique collapses & I have to rebuild it from scratch using what is already posted as a base timeline, which can take lots of time if it works at all.
