I tend to read the most fanfiction when I can't sleep.
I read cute fluff which makes me happy, giving me dopamine and making me oh so happy. And then I can't sleep cause I'm to hyper while I kick my legs like a school girl in joy, as if I was on the phone to my crush.
Which is ironic as I am adult man + aroace lol
