Summary
This is a dark AU where the Kraang won and killed everyone on Earth, except Future Leonardo. It's a reward for freeing them in the first place, but also a punishment by having him live the rest of his days to see the consequences of his actions. For 10 years Leon lived all alone.
His solitude is broken however, when present Leo accidentally gets teleported to this timeline after a portal incident gone wrong. Leo is lost and confused, but soon runs into Leon. While Leo is thrilled to see another face, Leon is not and wants nothing to do with him. Leo wants to join him, and has a whole bunch of ideas of how they can stop the Kraang or possibly get himself home. Leon wasn’t having any of that and told him to get lost.
Leo doesn’t heed Future Leonardo’s warnings and pays the price for it.
