I will read almost any type of fanfic, although there are some fetishes I don't like. There are two non-fetish plotlines, however, that I hate with a passion and will not read:
1. Overpowered!Harry Potter fics. You know the type. Harry gets ridiculous, over-the-top powers, stupid, ornate props, inheritances from Gringotts, a harem, he changes his looks, the Weasleys and Dumbledore are bashed for no reason...there are no words for how much I hate this type of fic. It's really depressing that it's still so popular, when it should have gone the way of the My-Immortal-esque Hot Topic Suefics by now.
2. Reylo fics. Bottom line: I hate this pairing. I hate Kylo Ren himself, for what he did to his parents and to Luke. Yes, I think Kylo was the cause of all the Skywalker family conflict in the new trilogy. No, I don't think he can be redeemed--or if he is, it's not up to Rey to do it, at least not by dating or sleeping with him. The only way I can see a consensual pairing for these two is violent, brutal, disturbing hatesex. So if there's a fic where both Rey and Kylo are into masochism and sadism, and they take out their anger on each other, I'll read it.
