Hello friends, as of July 5, 2023, I have restricted all but one of my fics to "members only", to prevent future scraping by AI bots. I will be locking down the last work, my current WIP, once it is finished. If you want to continue reading it, you will need to create a member account on AO3. I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience, but this step has become necessary in order to protect my work.
I've been writing fic since... oh goodness. 1997? Does the X-Files stuff count? Or the Stargate: SG-1 stuff from about 2003? I dunno. The point is, I'm old, and still getting used to it.
I love unconventional hero characters, like Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender, or Hook from Once Upon A Time. My obsession for a while was Loki, as played by Tom Hiddleston in the MCU. (I'm not familiar with the comics.) I moved on from there to the BBC Merlin series, Merlin played by Colin Morgan, and I've also attempted to write original fantasy.
In my writing, I love world building, good dialogue, and sensory detail.
I crave and adore your comments, and I have been thrilled whenever anyone felt inspired to make fanart based on my stuff, or "fic of my fic". It's amazing how supportive fandom can be, and how good you all are for my mental health. Thank you all.
