I've been writing fanfics since late 90's. I'm sort of active on ff.net (www.fanfiction.net/~shadowchaser), but post most of my works on AO3. I also publish in the real world under the name Sandra Chen.
Fair warning: I'm guilty of starting stories and throwing them on the back burners. Updates are sporadic, but I never stop writing.
I don't have a twitter, tumblr, instagram, Discord, BlueSky or Tiktok - but I will respond to comments to the best of my abilities!
A few pet peeves:
1. I do not take prompts or suggestions.
2. I absolutely HATE (with a passion) Hanahaki fics. I have no idea why, but I don't read hanahaki fics. I'll read other fics with plausible made up diseases and stuff if it fits within the fandom and circumstances presented, but hanahaki...no.
3. If you are adding one of my fics to a collection, please add it as a bookmark instead of into the fic. That way if a collection suddenly closes, I do not have that fic disappear by accident.
4. You can create fan art or transformative works of my works. I only ask that you link me to it so I am aware. I do not do paid commissions for fanart (I'm not even getting paid to post fanfiction).Update: 5/23/23
My thoughts on ChatGPT and AI writers - I'm okay with AI writing scraping thru my fanfics. That's what fanfics are for, public consumption and digestion - they are not copyrighted by me, they belong to their respective owners. If an AI writer decides to write something and post it, great, fine, it's fanfic. I'm happy to teach it my own style, thoughts and musings on my favorite characters. What I do not condone or consent to is people accusing ME of using an AI writer to write my fics. I worked damn hard for so many years to hone my craft. I will never use an AI writer/generator to write any fanfic or original novel.
