Transformative works permission statement
I give blanket permission to create most kinds of fanworks (e.g. translations, podfic, fanbinds, fanart) based on my fanworks with credit and a link back to the original work, ideally using the "inspired by" function.
Please ask permission before posting recursive fic based on my work, i.e. fic of my fic. I will probably be fine with it, but I'd appreciate being asked, as there are some works I absolutely would not be comfortable with recursive fic of.
General Notes
Please do not accept money for fanworks based on my work beyond the cost of materials where relevant. Do not use AI to generate "sequels" of my work, or fic in my "style", even for private use.
Podfic:
Feel free to alter the wording slightly for an easier/better line reading and correct any mistakes in the text, e.g. missing words, words misspelled as other words, etc.
Fanbinding:
Please do not use a print-on-demand service to bind typesets of my work. If you share typesets of my work with other fambinders, please make them aware that I am only comfortable with handbound fanbinds of my work.
You are very welcome to correct any typos or SPAG errors in my original text, change spelling to reflect your preferred dialect of English, and make other minor changes and line edits to the text that do not change the intended meaning.
I would love to see your work, so feel free to get in touch with me to share photos or typesets for me to coo over, but you don't have to do this and you are not obliged to gift me an author's copy.
