  Summary

  G'raha Tia realizes now that he really ought to give up on the idea that he'll ever have a reasonable expectation of what's coming. Especially after a night of passion with Pike L'oatel, the Warrior of Light, unexpectedly activates the Allagan cloning mechanisms in the Crystal Tower. He had expected to wake up in the future, of course. But the tiny Miqo'te infant that now smiles and reaches for him? That's definitely a surprise.

  "Milo," G'raha says to the kit, scooping him up in his arms. G'raha is nothing if not flexible to change. "I think you look like a Milo. What do you think?"

  The baby tucks against his chest, blue ears like his father's (Pike, G'raha thinks with a distant level of surrealism, the godsdamn Warrior of Light) drooping flat against his head. A low rumble of a purr starts up in G'raha's chest as he rocks the child gently.

  "Hello, Milo."
