Fan bindings are permitted and encourage (I'm a rare book librarian, fine bindings are my jam), but please DO NOT SELL THEM. Make them, give them away, spread the love. Just don't endanger us all.
Thoughts on commenting:
Please don’t ever feel obligated to comment! Do I like knowing that people reading and enjoying my fic? Of course. But fandom is supposed to be fun, not an obligation. Do whatever you have the capacity to do, whatever you are moved to do; whether that’s comment on every chapter, leave occasional ❤️ as chapter kudos, leave a mega comment at the end of a story, or do nothing except read and enjoy. HP was the first fandom that I actively participated in, starting in the early 2000s. Like it was for so many of us, it was formative, both for how I engage with fandom and my writing. I have chosen not to remove my HP fics, because they are part of my fandom history. However, I want to be very clear: I do not in ANY way agree with JKR's socio-political positions. Trans women are women, trans men are men, and the T most certainly belongs in LGBTQ+.
