I don't aspire for much in my work, entertainment, good characterization, decent, manageable plots, correct verb tense, and maybe some character progression (if I'm lucky). I'd like to consider my stuff just a tick mark above mediocre or at the very least enough to get across my thanks to those characters that tend to rattle around in my head space.
