Chapter Text
One day, on Mount Olympus, Zeus called all the gods - Poseidon, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Ares, Hera, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Hermes, Aphrodite and Demeter - for a meeting. "We need to discuss the matter at hand," Zeus announced. "Hermes, will you tell everyone what you heard?"
"Yes, my Lord." Hermes stood up. "There had been rumours of Typhon seeking to escape Mt Etna and wreak havoc on Mt Olympus. In other words, he wants revenge on us."
"What shall we do?" Apollo strummed at the lyre while being dramatic.
Artemis rolled her eyes. Ugh, men! "What do you think, Apollo? We make sure Typhon does not escape, or it could spell disaster. The question is, who would want to raise Typhon?"
"Echidna?" Dionysus questioned, whilst chugging down the alcohol - he is the wine god, after all - and almost fell over when he got up to speak to the other deities. "She is his wife, as Hera is Zeus'."
"EXCUSE ME?!" Hera icily glared at the wine god (Ares snickered behind his hands). "DID YOU JUST COMPARE ME TO THAT. . . THAT SHE-MONSTER?"
"Um, mmph, no, stepmother," Dionysus mumbled.
"Good. Any suggestions on how to stop him?"
While Poseidon was discussing his ideas, usually to do with floods and the like, Zeus glanced out of the window of the palace and spotted a youth with flowing golden locks, bright angel looks and was quite the looker. What Zeus did not know was that he was Lucifer!
Hera noticed Zeus' attention elsewhere. "Zeus, what are you looking at? It had better not be your next conquest. You promised that you would not play around anymore. Why do I bother believing you?" She threw up her hands in exasperation.
"Don't worry, my dear," Zeus assured the Queen of Olympus. "I will remain faithful this time. I will make it up to you. I swear by the council."
"I hope you will keep your promise." Hera growled subtlely.
Dalek Sec observed too.
