Hi all!
In SOULMATES, I will be writing short stories based on My Hero Academia and soulmate AUs I've seen floating around the internet (you know the ones). The prompts I have lined up so far include:
- Step counter: everyone is born with a step counter on their wrist, counting down to when you meet your soulmate.
- Timer: similar to step counter, everyone is born with a timer on their wrist, counting down to the moment you meet your soulmate.
- Ink: when you write on your skin, it shows up on your soulmate's skin in the same place.
- Hot and Cold: finding your soulmate is like a big game of Hot and Cold; the closer you are to your soulmate, the warmer you are, and the further from them you are, the colder you get.
- Technicolor: the world is in black and white until you touch your soulmate for the first time.
- Magnet: at a certain age, you become magnetized to your soulmate, drawing you to them. The further the distance, the longer it takes to find them.
- Dreams: when you sleep at night, your dreams are actually your soulmate's memories and the same for your soulmate.
- Red thread of destiny: everyone has a red string/thread wrapped around their finger that connects to their soulmate's finger. You can only see your own thread, no one else's.
- First Words: the first words you ever hear your soulmate say are tattooed on your skin.
- Tattoo: everyone is born with a small, simple tattoo; as you get to know your soulmate, the tattoo grows more intricate and detailed.
- Pain: when your soulmate is injured, you feel their pain.
- Black Spot: the first place you're touched by your soulmate is marked by a black spot on your body.
- Mismatch: everyone is born with heterochromia (two different colored eyes), and while one of them is your true eye color, the other is your soulmate's. When you finally touch your soulmate for the first time, the colors shift to match.

I'll be starting off with character x reader stories, but if they're requested, I'll write character x character ones too. I also enjoyed writing character x character x reader, so polyamorous soulmate situations are totally cool too! Leave me a comment with soulmate pairings and which AU you'd like to see! Feel free to request an AU I've already written - I like to challenge myself by writing it differently!
Also there have been a few rounds of edits (fixing formatting problems mostly, minor spellchecking) so please don't worry if your favorite story looks different than the last time you read it!
