“That’s what she looks like!”

The commoner lost her balance and fell on the table.

The succubus realizes that she has power to bring her prey down to hell now. Once Byleth was isolated, the succubus places both her hands onto the commoner’s shoulders making her gasp. The bite marks begin to glow bright white and Byleth tries fighting against the demon. She falls down on her rear and kicks herself away from the demon. This angers the succubus and she starts growling. Rhea could hear the growling then grabs her holy cross and starts saying a prayer.

“In the name of Sothis, give me strength to fight against this demon!”

Edelgard roars out loud making the windows shatter, furniture flip over, and statutes break. The succubus could feel herself becoming overpowered because the archbishop did not fear demons and was protected by the guardian angels. Her holy cross was blessed and made by the goddess, Sothis which made the cross very powerful to fight against demons.

“You are weak demon! Go back to the gates of hell and never return! By the gods will, Sothis commands you back to hell where you belong!”

Edelgard covers her eyes once the holy cross blinds her vision with a bright light. The succubus starts roaring then finally vanishes. Rhea lowers her arm once she feels that the demon was gone. Byleth collapses on the ground unconscious. The archbishop walks over to the commoner and picks her up. Dorothea and Ingrid arrive just in time.

“What happened!?”

Rhea turns her body around making both females gasp as they see Byleth unconscious in Rhea’s arms. Judging by the destruction in the room, Rhea fought against the demon.

“We need to take her to the holy tomb and cleanse her immediately! That demon will be back shortly if we don’t hurry!”

“Yes, lady Rhea!”

At the holy tomb, Rhea dashes over to the holy water fountain. She knew Byleth was slowly dying from the amount of energy the demon took from her. She places Byleth into the holy water and places the cross on her forehead while saying a prayer. Dorothea and Ingrid place a line of salt around the holy water fountain. Rhea continues saying a prayer and fights against the succubus’ marks that were left on the commoner’s body. She could feel Byleth trying to escape from the marks and her prayers start becoming aggressive. The marks start making a bright light and make the commoner yell in pain. Rhea then pushes Byleth’s whole body into the holy water and the light blinds her eyes slightly.

“In the name of Sothis, remove the marks of the succubus!”

The bright light slowly starts to fade away and the archbishop picks up the commoner who was coughing. Rhea did not care if her dress or sleeves were getting wet. Chapter 5

“I’m finally here.”

Linhardt said as he steps off his horse after spending a month at a different school to study about demons and spells. Caspar was very confused on that question because it did not make sense. Ashe could still hear and felt his heart racing since Linhardt’s tone sounded serious.

The holy knight opens his book showing the description on how to get rid of demons and the consequences of what could happen if the prayer is not done correctly. Linhardt turns the pages until he was at the succubus page. Caspar and Ashe looked disgusted at the succubus appearance because they looked hideous and scary. The appearance looked terrifying and Ashe covers his face. Linhardt points to one of the sentences in the text.

“Depending how powerful the demon is a holy cross blessed by the goddess of Sothis and holy water is what is effective against these demons. A simple cross, sage, and regular holy water will not work on these demons. In fact, these will anger the demon and make them become vengeful to their target. Succubus do not discriminate and attack anyone that summons them or if they appear in a place where they had a horrible death. Once the succubus creates their mark on the victim, the victim has a limited amount of time to live before the succubus attacks them in their sleep. Their goal is to drain the life out of their victim slowly so they can have complete control of them. The succubus wants the victim’s semen to create their own or fetish reasons and once that’s done, the succubus kills their victim by taking their soul or having intercourse of entirety in hell.”

Caspar was kind of shocked that there would be a demon like that.

“So let me get this straight; the demon just has intercourse with their victims until they die?”

Linhardt turns the pages in the text book and notices Caspar does not seem amused.

“You’re not terrified?”

The war monk shakes his head.

Linhardt closes his book and takes a deep breath.

Caspar realizes he was out of donuts then reaches into Ashe’s basket to get another donut but as he reaches for donut, the basket falls on the ground. Ashe was not amused and crosses his arms because those were the last donuts.

Byleth makes her way into the hot spring. She realizes she is alone and starts to undress. The commoner sighs steps into the hot spring to relax her body. She enjoys feeling the hot water relax her muscles and closes her eyes. Edelgard walks through the doors of the spring and sees Byleth relaxing in the water. The succubus smiles and starts to undress. She uses her power to block the door and to make sure no one can hear Byleth scream for help. Edelgard begins to undress and steps into the water and moves beside Byleth. Although, Byleth could not see her. Edelgard places her hands on the commoner’s shoulders that makes her sigh. Byleth quickly opens her eyes and looks around seeing no one was beside her. The commoner felt her heart racing and slightly pants. She takes a deep breath and realizes there’s no one in the room. She figured she was just imagining things again because of what she experienced with the succubus. She climbs out of the pool and walks over to where she placed her clothing at. She shuffles through her clothes and finds the cross Rhea used to scare the demon. Edelgard notices and becomes infuriated. The demon had to go away because of the cross was creating a forcefield around Byleth. Byleth steps into the water again while holding the cross. After a long pause, Byleth starts to feel at ease and closes her eyes to relax.

Edelgard enters Byleth’s room and sees some crosses on the walls. There was no salt in the room though. The demon walks around her room and sees that the crosses were not blessed so she had a chance to get rid of the power. Edelgard raises her arm and snaps her finger to make the crosses in the room lit on fire. Now the crosses had no power in them. The succubus thinks for a moment. She needed more power from fear. She smirks when she realizes she knows exactly where to get negative energy from and leaves the commoner’s room.

“Will you stop talking about ghost and demons!”

Ashe shouts at Caspar. He was getting annoyed and did not want to talk about it anymore. He found it horrible that Byleth got attacked by one and felt no one deserves to be attacked by a demon. Caspar did not fear demons though and found it funny how Ashe would slay beasts but was scared of ghost. Edelgard came over noticing the two males were still arguing. Once the timing was right, she picked up a vase and slammed on the ground making the two males stop. Ashe felt himself shaking because he saw the vase float in the air and drop to the ground. The succubus starts to giggle. Caspar wasn’t scared though. He figured Linhardt was playing a prank on them with his magic. Edelgard could hear Ashe’s heart racing and moves closer to him. The priest continues reading the books hoping to find something he may not have read about in the school. He was very confused though because succubus usually go after men. Rhea steps into the library holding a book about succubus and holding the cross of Sothis.

“Succubus target anyone they believe is an easy target and weak. These disgusting demons disguise themselves as dead women to lure their victims into falling for them.”

Linhardt stands from his seat and approaches the archbishop.

“Did you really send the succubus back to hell?”

Rhea shook her head.

“I don’t believe so. I know she will be back to attack Byleth again.”

“She might be vengeful now. Has she attacked anyone else here?”

“Not to my knowledge.”

Linhardt remembered reading something in the book that the archbishop was not aware of.

“Rhea, are you aware that these demons can disguise themselves as anything if they get enough power?”

Rhea was very uncertain because Edelgard never disguised herself as anyone else.

“I am not.”

Byleth was inside her room taking a nap. She was lying on her side with the covers over her body. It felt so good to be able to take a nap without the succubus bothering her. The commoner smiles and gets off the bed while getting her clothes on. Rhea wraps her arm around the commoner’s neck and both walk out of the dormitory. Dorothea and Ingrid were chatting outside and notice Byleth was walking with Rhea. The two females approach them.

“Hey Rhea and Byleth. We have not had any issues with seeing any demons yet.”

Ingrid gives Byleth some a jar of sacred salt and a Sothis cross. Rhea takes both of them from Byleth’s hands making the commoner confused.

“Its fine Byleth, I have something better than these.”

Ingrid and Dorothea were confused though because Rhea used those to fight against Edelgard.

“But Rhea, you used those to fight against the demon though…..”

Rhea nods in response and puts both items away. She pulls out another cross that looked like the skin from the nemesis. Ingrid and Dorothea felt shivers go down their spine from the look of the cross. The cross looked like something a devil would hold. Ingrid scratches the back of her head.

“Well, if you insist…”

Dorothea and Ingrid notice that Rhea began walking away with Byleth. The two females shrugged and figured that Rhea did not feel like chatting for a while. The two females decided to meet Linhardt in the library.

Linhardt kept turning the pages then shows the text to Rhea. The archbishop quickly reads the text and realizes that the succubus could be disguising themselves as someone here. The two turns their heads revealing the priest, Mercedes.

“I finally arrived. Linhardt told me that there was a demon lurking around here.”

Linhardt warmly smiles. Mercedes was his partner in the school when they were studying about demons. The priest was very powerful. She fought against many powerful demons even though her life was slowly draining from fighting against them. As Mercedes walks into the library, she looks around for a brief moment and sees some darkness around the library. Linhardt notices she is checking her surroundings. He did not have that kind of talent in him. Mercedes closes her eyes and feels negative energy then opens her eyes. She could see demons because she is physic. If there was darkness around, that means a demon was wondering around. The darkness is like a human leaving footprints.

“There’s a demon around here.”

Dorothea and Ingrid arrive at the library and were shocked to see Rhea. Ingrid was very confused and rubbed her eyes. She could have sworn they just saw Rhea walking with Byleth. Dorothea rubs her eyes too. Mercedes turns her body around seeing the two females. She saw darkness around knowing they were recently in contact with a demon.

“Rhea!? We thought you were with Byleth!?”

Ingrid’s voice sounded shaky. Rhea immediately walks over to Ingrid and Dorothea.

“Yes! You were just with Byleth! You said you were going somewhere with her!”

Rhea and Linhardt looked at each other realizing Edelgard was impersonating her. Everyone immediately dashes out of the library. Mercedes gets her tome book ready, her crosses, her blessed necklace, and other holy water. She closes her eyes while raising her arm and a bright light appears out of her tome book.

The priest cast a shield to protect her friends from the demon’s power. The shield would damage though once the demon starts attacking.

“Rhea where are you taking me?”

Rhea was holding Byleth’s hand. The commoner notices they were far away from the kingdom and started feeling uncomfortable. She notices Rhea was acting strange.

“STOP RIGHT THERE!”

Byleth whips her head behind seeing Mercedes, Rhea, Ingrid, Dorothea, and Linhardt. The commoner turns her head seeing Rhea again then steps away falling on her bottom. Byleth felt her heart racing and she starts panting heavily. She kicks herself back until was she near Ingrid and Dorothea. The commoner stays behind them. Mercedes approaches the demon and slashes her disguise away revealing the succubus. However, no one else could see her now except Mercedes. Edelgard and Mercedes make eye contact seeing fury.  

“Everyone, get back…”

Mercedes motions everyone to stay behind her as she pulls out her cross blessed by Sothis. Edelgard becomes infuriated and roars at the priest. Ingrid and Dorothea plug their nose once they smell a horrible stench of smoke. Rhea helps Byleth to her feet and they run away along with Dorothea and Ingrid. Linhardt stays with Mercedes though.

“Leave Linhardt. I’ll handle this.”

“Out of the question! We always stayed together when battling against these demons!”

Chapter 6

As Rhea, Byleth, Ingrid, and Dorothea were fleeing from the demon, the weakened professor breathes heavily and slumps down. Rhea picks up the weak professor and carries her into the temple. She is in shock after almost falling for Edelgard’s trick. Edelgard sees that her prey is very weak and saw no point battling against Mercedes but she knows this priest is very powerful and does not fear demons. Edelgard evilly smirks and vanishes from the field. Mercedes sees the darkness fading away and closes her book.

“Too scared to face me huh? Hm. I know you will be back.”

Linhardt takes a deep breath and is relieved that Mercedes did not have to fight against a demon again. He remembers the close calls Mercedes had to go through when performing exorcisms.

“Don’t underestimate the demon, Mercedes. We do not know what she is capable of….”

Mercedes raises her arms out while closing her eyes then says a prayer that cast a blessed forcefield around Rhea’s kingdom. The forcefield is supposed to keep demons away for 72 hours. Mercedes is in power so her forcefield should be strong enough to protect her friends.

“I would love to grant more time for the forcefield but this type of power uses too much of my energy. I just wish for the professor to have a blessed sleep instead of worrying about the demon attacking her.”

“It is unfortunate….”

Rhea places Byleth on her bed and removes her clothing until she was just wearing a bra and her black shorts. She pulls the covers over Byleth’s body and sees that her eyes were closed. She places her hand on Byleth’s head knowing she is very hot. Sweat was flowing down her face as if she had a fever. Dorothea gives Rhea a cold rag. The archbishop rubs the sweat off Byleth’s face and places the rag on her forehead to cool her off.

“I’ll stay here and watch over professor.”

Ingrid and Dorothea nod and walk away closing the door. Rhea says a prayer and starts spraying holy water on the commoner’s body. The archbishop stays up as the professor sleeps peacefully. After a while, the archbishop feels their eyes becoming heavy and eventually falls asleep.

Mercedes walks around outside clearing all the darkness of where the demon was putting her scent. She is saying a prayer and has her book opened to bless the whole area. Linhardt is sprinkling salt around hoping this would keep the demon out temporary. The priest remembers all the cases of fighting against these demons. Linhardt was always there to support her whenever they were in the middle of the exorcism. The veteran priest taught her how to not fear any type of demon.

Edelgard is hiding though. She could feel her anger building up from the priest she wanted dead or gone. The salt was not going to do anything to her and she found a way to break through the holy forcefield. She could see the whole kingdom was like in some invincible ball that only she could see. Edelgard is still inside the kingdom though roaming around. She was not going to stop until she has Byleth. Once she sees where Byleth is, she thinks about an idea and disappears.

“Come on Ashe! Its just a Ouija board!”

Ashe is getting very anxious since its Halloween and Caspar loved playing pranks on him.

“I’m not interested, Caspar! Haven’t you heard about the urban legends of how dangerous those are!?”

Caspar laughs and starts playing with the board.

“You’re such a wimp.”

Mercedes immediately takes the board away from Caspar.

“HEY!”

“Do you have an idea how dangerous these boards are? You can summon deadly spirits with these boards, Caspar.”

Caspar crosses his arms on his chest since he wanted to do something clever for Halloween.

“It’s Halloween, Mercedes…”

“That’s not an excuse, Caspar. Now if you will excuse me, I’ll be putting your board away.”

Caspar rolls his eyes and gets another board once Mercedes was gone. He was outside alone with some candles lighting around him. He wanted to see if this board could really work from what he read in the urban legends. Ashe came back and his eyes widened in horror.

“CASPAR! MERCEDES SAID NOT TO PLAY WITH THAT!”

“Call the guards then, Ashe.”

Ashe sighs and sits by Caspar. He could feel his heart racing when Caspar starts playing with the board. Edelgard evilly smirks when she sees Caspar playing with the board. Once he starts communicating, she starts moving the planchette to summon spells around the kingdom. Caspar’s eyes widen once the planchette starts moving by itself. Ashe was getting so scared that he fled leaving Caspar alone.

“Ashe, you wimp!”

Edelgard continues moving the planchette and cast many spells around kingdom. She could feel herself becoming powerful from Caspar’s stupidity and curiosity. Once she is done with her summoning, she finally has the power to move objects, walk through walls, mimic others, and to disguise herself. She got so much energy from Ashe’s fear that she is able to show herself for a brief moment then disappear. She raises her arms and shuts off every possible light making the kingdom pitch black.

Linhardt and Mercedes stop what they were doing once all the lights when out. The two mages snap their fingers to form a fire. The priest realizes that Caspar messed with the board and she could feel that many demons were roaming around the kingdom now.

“Linhardt, I warned him not to play with the board! Now there is so many demons here!”

Mercedes could feel her heart racing because she realizes the forcefield has been broken.

“This is not good. My forcefield has been broken….”

Byleth slowly opens her eyes and sees that the room is pitch black. She notices the candle went out and tries to light it up again. She could see Rhea sleeping peacefully. She taps her shoulder but gets no response. The commoner shrugs thinking that Rhea is exhausted from always having to protect and decides not to bother her. She gets off the bed while holding the candle and starts feeling how cold it is. She could see her own breath. The room felt so creepy for some odd reason and Byleth feels her heart racing. She could feel and hear her heart pounding in the whole room. It felt like something is watching her. As she continues walking, she calls out for anyone but it was dead silent in the room. Byleth continues walking until she was by the door. She slowly opens it seeing nothing but darkness. The candle rarely made any light. The commoner swallows hard and starts moving forward. She decides not to call any names. It was so silent in the hallway. She could see the doors beside her left and right. As she continues walking, she realizes something strange. The hallway does not seem to end. She did not remember this hallway either. As she walks through the darkness, she sees a door in front of her.

“Don’t go in there….”

“HUH!?”

Byleth whips her body around seeing nothing behind her. She starts panting heavily and feels her heart racing rapidly in her chest. She could see her candle light starting to go down.

“No! No!”

The candle light fades away making the whole hallway pitch black. Byleth drops the candlestick and stood feeling like she was about to faint because of her fear. She feels very cold for some odd reason and could hear footsteps. Byleth stood still for a brief moment and a demon appears in front of her roaring in her face making the commoner scream out loud. The commoner quickly enters the door and shuts it panting heavily. She loses her balance and falls on the ground. As her eyes adjust to the darkness, she could see something slowly approaching her. For some odd reason, Byleth could scream or even speak. Her eyes were widening in horror as the light in the room became dim. As the light became dimmer, the succubus begins to slowly approach the professor with a smirk. She raises her arm and uses her power to pin Byleth on the ground. Byleth could still not speak and lied there with her eyes roaming around drastically. Edelgard raises her arm up and the clothing slowly rips apart from the commoner’s body. The succubus snaps her fingers and the clothing on her body fades away. She starts approaching her helpless prey and gets on her hands and knees while crawling over to her. Byleth’s mouth slightly opens in horror as the succubus mounts on her. Both females made eye contact for a long time.

Edelgard smiles at her prey and caresses her cheek. She moves her hand down the commoner’s body loving how her body twitches from her touch. She notices goosebumps were forming on her naked body and loves how scared she is which is giving her power over her prey. She moves the commoner on her side and begins marking her with her brand. As Byleth lays back on her back, she shuts her eyes. It was like having a nightmare or sleep paralysis. She opens them again still seeing the demon on top of her. Edelgard leans her head forward and catches the commoner’s lips making her eyes widen. Byleth starts feeling the demon’s power going through her body and she becomes aroused. As Edelgard breaks the kiss, she starts kissing down on the commoner’s body loving how she is releasing her moaning. Her body starts becoming hot and Edelgard starts leaving many bite marks on her body. Once she is done, the succubus mounts on the commoner while pressing their lower parts together and starts rocking herself making the commoner gasp. Edelgard evilly smirks and rocks herself faster on the commoner loving how her hands start moving on their own. Byleth’s hands move over to the demon’s rear and gives it a rough squeeze. Edelgard leans forward to the commoner’s mouth. Once the timing is right, Edelgard opens her mouth and begins sucking the life out of Byleth’s body.

Byleth immediately wakes up yelling out loud making Rhea wake up. She quickly gets her cross and realizes Byleth had a nightmare. The commoner was very scared and hugs herself. She is hoping it was all a dream. She is rubbing her own shoulders and pants heavily from what she just experienced in her dream.

“Byleth, what happened?”

Byleth remains silent and sits there hugging her knees to her chest. She does not realize that Edelgard is watching her with an evil smirk. She made it so the commoner thought she was dreaming the whole time. The succubus moves on the bed and kisses Byleth’s cheek making her gasp. Edelgard is invisible and too powerful now. The cross Rhea is using had no effect anymore. Edelgard raises her arm and the cross is yanked from Rhea's hand and turned into flames letting Rhea know that she's present.

Chapter 7

Mercedes takes a deep breath as she walks outside while holding her tome book. The demons around her growl at her but the priest shows no fear. As the demons roar at the priest, Mercedes raises her arm using her magic to kill the demons trying to attack her. The priest calmy walks seeing so many demons lurking around and putting darkness all over the kingdom. Linhardt gets his tome book ready, but this would be tough for him since he could not see the demons. The holy knight grabs his demon slayer lance and blesses it with Sothis’ power. Now the holy knight is ready to fight against these demons.

Rhea gets off the chair and dashes over to grab her crosses. Edelgard evilly smirks and an invisible force lifts the archbishop and makes her drop the cross. The succubus tosses the cross out the window then flings Rhea out the window too. Byleth immediately gets out of bed and dashes out the room. Edelgard smiles and follows her prey. The frightened commoner sprints passing door to door unaware of where she is going. She finds no one else for some odd reason and she makes her way to an unknown room she has never seen before. Edelgard is slowly following behind. It did not matter how far Byleth was since she has the mark on her back. Once Byleth was alone and isolated, Edelgard starts having some fun to weaken the commoner. Byleth tries opening the front door but realizes it would not budge. The succubus sees how vulnerable the commoner is because she has no weapons to defend herself or holy weapons. Edelgard evilly smirks because she has an idea then uses her power to unlock the door. Byleth immediately sprints away unaware of where she is going. The succubus made it so no one would be able to hear or see Byleth and lures her into the hot springs. Once Byleth arrives at the hot springs, the door slams shut. The commoner tries opening the door and swallows hard.

“No! No! Open! Damn you!”

The commoner cries as she tries pounding against the door, but it would not budge. Byleth turns her body around while holding her shoulder and mist starts filling the room. Her mouth slightly opens, and she could feel her heart pounding rapidly in her chest. She notices bubbles were forming in the hot spring and the room starts turning dim.

“There you are, Byleth.”

The commoner whips her head to where the voice is coming from and realizes it is the succubus. The succubus has no clothing on and slowly approaches the frightened commoner. She is feeding off the commoner’s fear and loves how she is stepping away from the demon. As Byleth tries sprinting away, Edelgard uses her power to make the commoner fall on her stomach.

“Why are you running away, Byleth? I know you want my body. Just stop fighting and my body is all yours.”

The commoner’s eyes widen in horror, and she quickly gets on her feet sprinting away again. She goes into the massaging room and slams the door shut. The commoner whips her head around looking for something to block the door with. She moves a bed over to block the door and swallows hard. She could hear Edelgard giggling.

“Oh Byleth. You know blocking the door is not going to stop me from having you.”

Byleth shuts her eyes and starts saying a prayer, but Edelgard used that to her advantage to appear behind the commoner. She was not done yet though and wants to play with her prey. She smirks and gets an idea. The succubus uses her power to turn invisible. The commoner opens her eyes and does not sense the succubus is nearby. She takes a few deep breathes and sits on the bed with her hands placed on her head. The commoner lies on the bed and feels her heart calming down.

“Oh goddesses….”

Byleth opens her eyes, and the succubus is nowhere in sight. Though, she figures she better stay in the massaging room and have her friends find her. She was too scared to leave the room anyways. The commoner says another prayer though. Edelgard knows the prayer is not working because she is too powerful now. The succubus uses her power to move objects. She evilly grins when she finds some rope, blindfold, and a cloth to cover the commoner’s mouth with. The succubus has some fetish thoughts when she sees there is many towels around. The succubus raises her arm to control the towels then uses her powers to whip the towels hard against her rear making the commoner wince in pain. Edelgard loves how the commoner’s rear turns red and whips more towels against her bottom getting shouts from the helpless commoner. She loves the loud sound when the towel would hit the commoner’s flesh. Her whole bottom was completely red now. The succubus loosens the rope, and the commoner drops on the wooden floor panting heavily. She could feel her bottom pulsing from the whips. Byleth moves on her back and sees the succubus slowly approaching her with an evil grin.

“W-W-What do you want from me!?”

The commoner whimpers as she slowly moves back as the succubus keeps approaching her. The succubus turns her head seeing a king size bed and gets dirty thoughts. She turns her attention back to her prey knowing she is completely weak now. The succubus secretly moves the rope and tries to distract the commoner.

“There is so many things I want from you, Byleth. I want your body, your soul, and your semen to impregnate me.”

The commoner’s eyes widen in horror from what the succubus said.

“Why not find a bandit!?”

Edelgard evilly smirks and lightly laughs at her prey.

“You freed me, Byleth and you have my mark which means you are mine. To be honest, I was not expecting to be freed in that room I died in. I was brutally murdered in that room and became this. I already killed everyone responsible for my death but now as a succubus, I need intercourse to live and target anyone who frees me. I love being a succubus because I feel very empowered and love pleasuring my victims until they die.”

The succubus coos as she continues walking forward to the scared commoner. Once Byleth felt her back against the door, the succubus gets on all fours while crawling over to her prey. The succubus loves how the commoner tries breaking free but the shackles are indestructible and no help would be coming. Edelgard can now have fun with her prey forever. She knows where Byleth is hidden and with how powerful Edelgard has become, it would be nearly impossible to save the professor. Dorothea and Ingrid are chatting with the group to come up with a plan to save Byleth. Linhardt enters the room and sees Mercedes walk over to the Sothis statue.

“Mercedes, what did you see?” Linhardt ask the priest.

Mercedes turns her body around facing the holy knight.

“We are too late now…” The priest says calmly that makes everyone become silent.

The whole group looks up at the priest.

“Byleth has been condemned to hell by the succubus…” Mercedes states to the group.

Linhardt swallows the lump in his throat.

“So there is no way we can save the professor?”

The priest shook her head. The whole kingdom is surrounded by many evil spirits and demons. Mercedes realizes her power would be very useless and trying to make herself go to hell would be suicide since the demons could easily overpower her.

“I’m sorry but there is nothing I can do. Your professor is gone for eternity….” She says calmly.

Linhardt places his books on the table.

“You are for certain that there is no other way to save the professor!?”

Ingrid grips Caspar’s armor while hissing at him.

“This is all your fault!”

Caspar shoves Ingrid back.

“WATCH IT!”

Linhardt gets in between the two before a pointless fight starts.

“Settle down! This is not the time to start blaming or fighting!”

Mercedes thinks for a moment. Since she is physic, she can go to the underworld but knows it is pointless since the demons have too much power. The priest knows she would not last long because the holy items the group has is useless. Even if she attempted to use her holy magic, nothing would affect any of the demons in the underworld. It is a different atmosphere too and Mercedes knows she has a time limit if she attempts to go down there.

“There is a way for me to enter hell but there is also a high chance that I will not make it back alive….”

Dorothea raises her hand. “Is there a way that all of us can go to the underworld?”

“Only a priest that is physic has the ability to go to different dimensions.”

Ingrid clenches her fist and wishes she could go with Mercedes.

“We cannot just stand here and believe professor is dead though! She needs us, Mercedes!”

“Even if you all could go with me, how would you all attack the demons? How would you attack something that was never human?”

Mercedes thinks clearly and decides that she will go to the underworld to hopefully save the professor. She is aware that the risk of dying is high and knows that the demons could easily kill her. She checks her tome books making sure they are blessed and equipped with Sothis’ skin. She wears a pendent to protect herself from demon illusions and to increase her health while in hell. The priest raises her arm and says a spell that shows a portal to hell. Before she leaves, the whole group says their final words to the priest.

“Take care Mercedes….”

“If I was able to fight by your side, I would!”

“Make sure you kick those demons butts!”

“Be careful down there Mercedes…”

“Linhardt, I’m counting on you to take over and I will not be back.” The priest says softly and enters the portal before the holy knight could say anything.

Ashe just realizes something.

“What ever happened to lady Rhea?”

She starts walking forward seeing the walls were filled with many souls that are screaming in agony. It is extremely hot in hell as the priest moves forward. Some souls were reaching out for the priest to save them but Mercedes could not touch anything that could ruin her forcefield. It was like contamination since whatever she touched could follow her back into the human world if she does go back though. She looks up at the sky seeing the black and red clouds. In front of her was a giant gate with a skull on the top. Mercedes looks carefully at the gate bars and realizes what is around the bars is human bones. She kept a straight face as she continues walking forward. The gate slowly opens and the priest steps inside. The gate shuts and the whole area is filled with many screams. Mercedes looks up seeing many souls falling from the sky then looks around seeing many souls being tormented by the monsters.

“Hmph. Demons do anything in their power to conquer their victim.”

Mercedes continues walking forward and sees many souls on their knees while reaching out to the priest as if she is the savior. She cannot touch any of them or free them since she does not have the power too. The forcefield around her is already using too much of her power and her pendant cracks in the middle knowing the further she gets in hell, the denser the air is becoming. It is like the walls are slowly closing as she gets further or like going way below underwater than a human is used to. Mercedes looks around seeing the condemned souls crying out for her. The condemn souls look like burnt flesh.

“TURN AROUND WHILE YOU STILL CAN!”

“YOU’RE DOOMED IF YOU ENTER!”

“DO NOT ENTER THE LAIR!”

Mercedes sees another gate and recognizes the succubus symbol in the middle. The priest pauses for a moment because she knows the moment she enters the lair that the demons will come after her. As she opens the gate and enters her forcefield is suddenly suppressed. Many demons come out of nowhere screaming and attacking the priest until the area turns pitch black. The tome books slide down on the ground along with the broken pendant.

Silence.

A bright beam appears in the middle of the demons attacking the priest then the area turns all bright with light making them fade away. As Mercedes frees herself, she realizes her forcefield has been damaged and can no longer protect herself from spells. The priest looks at her arm and yanks out the claws pierced into her forearm. She rips part of her clothing to wrap it around. She collapses on her knee and breathes heavily with one eye opened unaware that there is another claw in her left eye. She realizes later when she feels blood trickling down her face. She knows yanking the claw out could make her lose more blood and damage to her body. The priest knows she will not survive much longer and struggles ahead. She finds the pendant and realizes it is useless. She continues looking around until she finds one tome book. The demons have ripped off the Sothis’ skin which means the books are now useless. The priest realizes only one person can escape from hell since she does not have the strength to hold a portal open for two people.

“Do you really think you can escape from me, Byleth?”

Edelgard says softly as she lifts her chin and loves how the professor cannot even escape. The succubus removes the member and lets it drop to the floor. She lifts the dazed professor using her demonic powers and sits on the throne. She has the professor get on her knees. Byleth looks up at the succubus as if under her control.

“Do you like what you see, professor?”

The succubus asks as the professor checks out every detail of the succubus body. She loves her figure, big breast, wide hips, and soft skin. The professor nods from the question. The succubus then spreads her legs revealing her lower part.

“It is all yours then.”

Byleth leans her head closer then starts to lick the succubus’ clitoris. Edelgard leans closer to the professor’s face and waits until the timing is right to consume her soul. The professor continues licking until Edelgard whips her head hearing shuffling and the door flings opened revealing the wounded priest. The succubus evilly smirks when she realizes the priest will die eventually from the wounds on her body. She is surprised the priest survived the attacks from her demons. Edelgard shoves Byleth out of the way and vanishes. Mercedes looks around then is tackled by the demon. Edelgard is roaring into the priest’ face as the two struggle on the ground. Mercedes breathes in heavily and uses all the strength she has left to pierce the cross that surprisingly has Sothis’ skin into the demon’s neck. A loud roar fills the whole room and the demon explodes making Mercedes slam against the wall. The cross falls on the ground with a thud and Byleth wakes up from the demons’ control. Byleth checks her surroundings and remembers she is in hell. The professor immediately grabs a blanket to cover her nude body then sees Mercedes sitting there with her head down.

“MERCEDES!”

Byleth pants as she kneels while placing her hand on the priest shoulder. Mercedes raises her head looking pale and has a smile on her face. The claw falls out revealing her bloody eye and more blood trickling down her face.

“I got to save you, professor….”

Mercedes reaches over to grab the cross and stabs the wall while ripping it down revealing a portal.

“I cannot go with you professor….”

Byleth touches Mercedes face and feels how cold she is becoming.

“I’ll help you! You still have time left!”

Professor pulls Mercedes arm over her shoulder and steps into the portal. Byleth appears back outside and warmly smiles. She is still holding Mercedes arm and sees her hand around her shoulder.

“Were out of hell, Mercedes!”

Byleth does not hear a response and feels something running down her body. The professor looks down seeing blood then realizes she does not feel a weight on her back. Her eyes are wide in horror when she realizes the only thing that came back from the priest was her arm. As Byleth looks around, she sees her students staring at her with their mouths wide open in horror. Linhardt collapses on the ground yelling out loud knowing his friend is dead. Dorothea passes out while Ingrid throws up on the ground. Caspar is comforting Ashe who is crying his eyes out.

"NOOO! MERCEDES!" 

After this horrid experience, Byleth and her students were never the same again.

Very sorry for the long wait. I've been on writer's block with this story and had readers asking when I would update.

I am on writer's block for this story so if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, go ahead and comment below. I have some ideas for multiple endings for this story. Typing here so I don't forget like last time. Haha. Yes, I will be adding that suggestion that is in the comments. No, this story is not done yet. I'm not ending it with a bad ending. Haha.
