They all thought they knew Hermione Granger. They didn't know everything though...

Harry found out in 4th year. It was during the tournament, and he was so sad, and lonely. None of his friends were talking to him. He was so frustrated, he needed to blow off steam. All the boys glared at him, especially Ron. All the girls whispered about him. And giggled...he hated the giggles. But then there was Hermione. She had stayed by him. Sure, they were best friends, but they were so different. But...he was so lonely...maybe it would be ok...

Later, he couldn't stop shooting looks at her and shaking his head. She had helped him out. Of course she had, she was Hermione, she would do anything for him but he was still surprised she was willing to do this. He just didn't think of her like that normally. Wasn't she supposed to be the bookish one? She wasn't like Cho and some of the other girls. But she had been amazing. How had she gotten so..skilled? Had she done that with others? You just didn't get that good without practice. He shook his head again. He just didnt need to think about this anymore right now. But, he thought in the back of his mind, maybe she'd be willing to help him out again sometime. He could use a bit more practice. ..

The twins found out the Summer before 5th year. They were all hanging out at the Burrow and it was getting boring. They needed some excitement. Sure they were working on their joke line but they needed  break. They thought about going into the village but they'd been run out just the week before. I mean really, were all muggles that...repressed?

This time it was Hermione that came to them. She told them how she had noticed them struggling and how she'd helped Harry out during the tournament. She wouldn't mind helping them out too. This intrigued them, they hadn't known anything about her and Harry, and they knew everything that went on at Hogwarts. They knew giving up the map was a bad idea. But they'd deal with that later, right now they had a female willing to help them out!

Hermione had just left them. They just looked at each other. They couldn't believe it! She had taken both of them...together! They were something one at a time but together, they were just too much for most people. But not her! She hadn't had any problem at all and even joked about having skills to spare! And that was another thing! She was joking! I mean sure, they joked all the time but was that really the time? This was something to be serious about! And now wasn't that depressing? Here they were wanting Hermione Granger to take something more seriously, but come on! There were just some things you didnt joke about. They were pretty secure, but even their egos could be damaged by that much....taunting. they both shivered. They'd just pretend it never happened. Yeah, they would forget all about it. She had said she'd be up for more but they didnt think they'd take her up on it. Besides they had their business to think of yeah they could squirrel all their time away with mindless pleasure, they'd have to work hard to earn enough money to open their shop!

Ron found out in 6th year. And of course he was a prat about it. He came storming into the common room, red faced, dirty and sweaty. Hermione followed behind him, pleading with him to just listen! But Ron was having none of it. He'd gone to her because he wanted the practice. He didn't want to make a fool of himself in front of the really pretty girls...like Lavender. She wore those tight skirts, and smelled so good, but she made him so nervous. He just knew he would blow it and it would all be over too soon. So he went to Hermione. She was a girl and he figured she wouldn't mind and it might even boost her confidence, you know, help her out a bit.

But then she just had to go and show him up. After he spent all that time working himself up to it, and she just had to be bloody perfect, as usual. And she obviously had plenty of practice too but hadn't bothered with him! She had probably went to Harry though. He always got everything first. And his brothers! He now understood the looks they gave her!  Couldnt he be better at something just once? And she had laughed! She had the nerve to laugh at him! He flushed red again. He knew he hadn't tried that before but did she really have to laugh when he fell? That's alright, he'd show her! Lavender wouldn't laugh at him! Hermione would be wishing he'd have spare time for her!

Sirius found out after the war was over. Everyone was moving on in their own way. Many people were still so serious, but not him, ironically. He just wanted to have fun! Practice his moves a bit in a way he hadn't since Hogwarts. He'd been too busy with the Order after graduation that he hadn't taken the time, but now he planned to make up for lost time. He was surprised she took him up on it, really. The other Order members all spoke of her like she was so serious and studious. Well she was those things but apparently she was up for a bit of fun too! And man, was she talented! She made his head spin! He'd been out of the game for a long time but had it really changed tha much? He hadn't thought so but now, well maybe he'd just see if Moony was up for a quiet night in. He would need the rest after that. She had really worn him out.

And now it was Ginny's turn to find out. The boys all tried to warn her. She had to admit she was a little weirded out that 3 of her brothers had done this with her but she just put that out of her mind. It wasn't really her business anyway. Now Harry wasn't really a surprise. They had been so close for years. She kinda wondered why he didnt still try with her, but when ever she brought it up, he would just get all cagey and jumpy. He was adamant that they just weren't a good fit that way. To be honest, he always looked a little afraid... hmm maybe she'd have to see for herself.

Ok, Granger! Where on earth did you learn how to do that? You are supposed to be the bookworm. I'm the athletic one! How could you possibly outlast me?

Ginny really! It takes stamina to heft all those books around! And keeping up with all the boys these past years, well is it any wonder I can last with the best of them?

But seriously Granger, who taught you to play like that! You don't even like quidditch! I understand now why all the guys refuse to ask you to join us! You are vicious!

Well, I've always been very competitive. In fact, I got kicked off my football team. Not that it was my fault! Those other girls just played like crap. They deserved for me to run over top of them!

Ginny just stared at her. "Who are you?"

Ginny turned and walked back to the house, leaving Hermione standing there grinning. She just loved surprising her friends!
