Story starts: mid July, 2021
Alex was nervous. He was currently on a plane on his way to the UK. He was going as an exchange student and had no idea who he was staying with. Sure he had been told but due to his short attention span the only part that he had heard was that the family he was staying with would have a sign with his name on it at the airport.
When he got to the airport he saw a boy who looked around his age holding a sign with his name on it. The boy looked familiar to him but he put it off as being tired from the flight.
Tubbo was board he had been waiting at the airport since 6am and now it was 6:30. He was going to have an exchange student from the US staying with him. He noticed a kid who looked around his age walking towards him with some bags.
"I take it your Alex the exchange student?" He asked.
"Yup" the kid,Alex, answered seeming half awake.
"I'm Toby you'll be staying with me and my family. I also have a friend staying with me for a while." Tubbo said.
Alex got in the backseat of the car after getting his bags in and almost immediately passed out.
'I'll let him sleep on the 3 hour dive back home,' Tubbo thought, 'I also should let Ranboo know I picked up the exchange student so he will be prepared when we get there.'
