Opening his eyes, he found the calm sway of a heavy chest in front of his nostrils. Chris's strong arms wrapped around his sides making him feel like he was a comfortable cushion in the middle of the taller man's nap. The most silly smile that had ever crossed his face now adorned his cheeks mixed with a blush impossible to avoid. Despite how many years passed, being protected by his warm limbs kept his chest racing as if it were the first time.
Luckily for both of them, that day they had it free so it was not necessary to interrupt such a sweet morning, so as if he had never woken up, Piers lowered his eyelids even hugging more firmly the thin shirt that his beloved boyfriend was wearing. Soon his calm breathing melted with the rest of his, and without problems he could have continued sleeping if it not wasn't for the fact that now Chris's body was the one that was stirring, just returning from the world of dreams.
The shorter one remained in the position he had assumed, listening to a yawn and prepared to leave the warmth of the bed, but to his surprise Redfield did not get up, he was suddenly still.
The idea that now the oldest was watching him "sleep" bathed his chest with sweetness, he imagined the beautiful smile that his beloved possessed, the tousled hair of his always impeccable hairstyle, the half-open eyes still getting used to the light that entered through window. His imaginations weren't that far from reality. Suddenly an unexpected contact managed to make him tighten the sheets in his hands; a familiar beard tickled his brow, and the sweet lips he would never got tired of feeling brushed his forehead.
The tiny approach suddenly turned into an insistent streak of small kisses on the forehead of the younger one who felt faint with tenderness.
He suddenly wished that his beloved would never stop, that the softness of the contact would remain eternally on his skin causing dizziness of happiness in his system, Piers felt eternally in love with the infinite security that lulled him next to Chris, the only man who could achieve transport you with a few simple kisses to ethereal happiness.
And just as unexpectedly as the affections came, they stopped. One last, leisurely kiss was gently placed on his forehead before he felt Redfield's body lift heavy from the bed. Piers remained there, sighing for the ghost of his boyfriend's lips still haunting his mind, but he was too ecstatic to stop the urge to throw himself into the older man's arms, so he sat up quickly before his loved could escape him.
There were no words, no doubt, the spontaneity of Nivans had perplexed the taller one who could only react when he felt thin lips on his face, right between his eyebrows and his hair.
Chris smiled, raising his hands to Piers's cheeks and lowering his face lower to kiss his lips calmly. The contact was subtly stopped, the youngest holding onto the other's forearms until their gazes met.
"You should wake me up more often with kisses on the forehead"
