EVIL FEY EXCECUTED!

In a controversial move, the Japanifornia State Government has moved forward the date for Morgan Fey's execution to January 6th.
Fey, aged 70, had lost her title as Acting Master in 2017 following her imprisonment for her Conspiracy to Murder Dr Turner Grey. She had also been charged for conspiracy to murder her niece, Master Maya Fey, in 2019. For her crimes, she had been sentenced to death.
Due to ethical concerns, her deathday seemed to be undetermined until recently, when she was chaught radicalising a prisoner into overthrowing the Master in what would have been the third attempt in Kurain Village's history. The prisoner, who will not be named for safety reasons, relayed that story to a prison warden, catalysing the death date decision.
Morgan Fey had been a controversial figure among Kurain Village residents; she had been responsible for two insurrection attempts against the Master, and residents had recently spoken out on her allegedly controlling nature.
"She is responsible for hindering Mystic Maya's mental health," said one unnamed resident, "and she had overstepped her power in her many bids to maintain the village in Misty's absence, whether it be favouring her younger daughter or abusing her niece.
"She would do anything to keep her title away from Mystic Misty and Mystic Maya," they summarised.
With Prosecutor Simon Blackquill exonerated for the murder of Metis Cykes two years ago, Morgan's execution would be the last enactment of the death penalty before its abolishment in February this year. Still, it has proven to be divisive among Kurain Village Residents and human rights activists.
"Yes, her evil is not to be understated," said another resident, "but this is no way to treat an ousted member of the Fey Family. Many members of her family wanted her to suffer, as they felt death was the easy way out."
Not everyone agrees with that statement. Select members of the Feee Kurain movement had wanted Morgan to be excecuted for years, including those who had been through the same situation as Mystic Maya Fey. They were unable to comment as of this article's publication.
Neither Mystic Maya Fey nor her cousin Pearl were available for comment, although according to one anonymous elder, Morgan would forever be remembered as "a stain on the already tarnished legacy of the Kurain Channelling Technique."
