Quirk Error

Summary:

It’s a training accident, Midoriya tells them. I just landed wrong, he says. Nothing’s going on at home, he lies.

Basically my mind went : what would be a good way to give Midoriya Izuku two dads and more trauma?
And it gave me this

Chapter 1: Midoriya Needs Help

Chapter Text

Bakugou Katsuki was observant. He had to be, with his Quirk being what it was. Nitroglycerin poisoning was not something to joke about, and he wouldn’t risk anyone ending up in the hospital because of him. And because he was observant, he noticed immediately when De- Shitty Ne- Midor- Izuku was hiding something from his friends and wearing makeup over stuff. The makeup jobs weren’t bad but Bakugou had known Izuku since they were toddlers, which meant he knew what any new feature on the other boy was with just a look, maybe two. It felt wrong calling Izuku by the insulting nickname when there was something going on that made him wear makeup to hide it.

“Oi, nerd!” Bakugou yelled once school had let out, earning him the attention of Izuku and the nerd’s friends.

“Yeah, Kac-chan?” Izuku asked, looking up with viridian green eyes - the nerd’s eyes had been green for years, but Bakugou still remembered what colour his eyes were supposed to be.

Bakugou still remembered a little boy with curly pale green-white hair and bright azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes with too-sharp teeth and dimples calling him ‘Ki-chan’ and playing games in the woods; Ku-chan had been Bakugou’s best friend.  But that green-white haired boy he had called Ku-chan had turned into a green-black haired boy with viridian green eyes, diamond-shaped freckles, no dimples, and flat teeth who called him ‘Kac-chan’ almost overnight; that was where the ‘nickname’ Deku had come from, Bakugou had known this new Izuku wasn’t his friend and likely never would be. Bakugou knew better than to assume Izuku remembered he wasn’t supposed to have green eyes or dark green hair or freckles or that he should have blue eyes and pale green hair and too-sharp teeth and dimples.

“The fuck’s up with you?” Bakugou asked, his way of asking what was wrong and why was Izuku wearing makeup to hide things what's wrong is Inko hurting you again why won't you let me help you.

“Nothing’s wrong, Kac-chan.” Izuku said, and walked away with his friends before Bakugou could form a verbal response.

The blond knew something was going on, something that Izuku thought he could handle on his own. But for as much as the boy looked different from he should, Bakugou knew him almost better than he knew himself.

Bakugou watched as Izuku walked away, favouring his left leg, just enough Bakugou noticed but others might not. Did he have to go to the teachers himself and hope someone actually did something for once?

"Bakugou-kun, what was that about?" Hobo-sensei asked, causing the blond to turn in surprise as he hadn't realised his teacher was there.

"What was what?" He asked gruffly, testing to see if his teacher had noticed the same things he had.

"You're worried about Midoriya-kun." The black-haired man stated plainly, arching eyebrow quizzically.

"He's favouring his left leg and hiding something with makeup. I swear, if Inko is hurting him again…" Bakugou muttered the last sentence, but based on how his teacher's eyes widened, the man had heard all of what he said.

"His mother hurts him?" Hobo-sensei seemed concerned, and Bakugou relaxed a little.

"His Quirk manifested when we were kids, and then he started showing up to our playground with bruises after Inko threatened his dads into leaving him with her. Then one day Izuku showed up looking different, his Quirk was gone, and he didn't remember any of the abuse Inko put him through after it manifested." Bakugou admitted, and his teacher frowned.

"What do you mean by he showed up looking different, Bakugou-kun?" The teacher asked, slipping into pro Hero mode.

"His eyes are supposed to be blue, he's supposed to have pale green hair, he shouldn't have freckles, his teeth are supposed to be like Spiky Hair's, and he should have dimples. I don't know what Inko did to make him so different, but I do know it made Izuku think differently too. Before it, he could come up with at least ten different backup plans in case something didn't work. Now he can barely come up with three. And the Quirk he has now isn't the one that manifested when we were kids." Bakugou said before walking away to let his teacher stew over that new information.

He had to get to the bottom of what was happening with Izuku. Bullying the nerd had done fuck all to bring back Ku-chan, but Bakugou had still tried. He'd been five when he'd thought if he was mean enough then his friend's Quirk would come back, and it hadn't done a thing but make Bakugou feel terrible and left the green-haired boy crying waterfalls. It hadn't been until their last year of middle school that Bakugou had been able to convince himself he just wasn't being mean enough, he had to use his Quirk on Izuku if he wanted Ku-chan back.

That hadn't worked either, and he'd spent most nights crying himself to sleep over hurting the boy who was still so much his best friend but not, and it had given him a panic attack when he'd told Izuku that horrible "advice" in a last ditch effort to bring Ku-chan back.

Please I just want my best friend back I just want Ku-chan please I need my best friend bring him back bring him back briNG HIM BACK

Bakugou scoffed to himself, knowing he'd probably stay awake worrying about Izuku even though he didn't have any right it's his fault he thought it'd be fine he thought Izuku's dads could protect him keep him safe from Inko but Uncle Hisashi and Uncle Oboro went missing and then Izuku's Quirk went missing and then his memories went missing it's all Bakugou's fault why didn't he help.

Chapter 2: Please Don't Forget Me

Chapter Text

It should be noted, that Midoriya Izuku was smart. He knew Kac-chan had been worried over him for some reason when he asked that question after school ended, but it was fine. It isn't fine please Ki-chan save me I can't breathe Ki-chan it hurts. He was fine, his mom was just busy. She still made him food and still asked about his day and was still there which his father wasn't. Inko hadn't made him food in months and treated him like a stranger at best. Inko said that Hisashi had just been called to America for work and that he sent money, but Midoriya knew it was because he had been Quirkless, and that if his father found out he had a Quirk now he'd come back. It was how society worked, it was how business worked, it was how the world worked.

Please come back I need someone to care about me I need you I need my dad come home please come home please I need my dad bring him back bring him back brING HIM BACK BRING HIM BACK

Foggy memories of a man with blue eyes and fluffy white hair teasing him, and a man with mismatched red and purple eyes and curly green hair playing games with him and Midoriya using a Quirk when he was young teased at Midoriya's mind, but he shoved those delusions away like his mother had taught him to. Those people didn't exist, and he hadn't had a Quirk when he was a child. They were just daydreams and childish wishes, nothing more.

"Papa! Papa look! I got my Quirk I got my Quirk!" A 4-yr-old Izuku with near-glowing blue eyes grins, sharp teeth catching the light and shining.
"Really? That's amazing, baby cloud!" A man with blue eyes and fluffy white hair grins back before picking the toddler up in his arms.
"It's just like yours and Daddy's!" Izuku cheers, and a man with mismatched red and purple eyes and curly green hair walks into the house.
"Sashi, guess who got his Quirk today?" The blue-eyed man asks.
"Our little spark got his Quirk today? Did he get yours or mine, Boro?" The green-haired man asks with a warm smile.
"A mix of them. I haven't seen it in person yet, though, so it could be a mutation." The blue-eyed man says.

Midoriya snapped out of that memory delusional daydream to find he'd reached the apartment he and his mother lived in. He walked inside, and headed to his room to do his homework. Inko was out doing work but Midoriya knew it was just so she could afford his tuition and pay the bills.

She'd been upset and mad at him since he got One For All it was almost like she was mad he had a Quirk Midoriya thought she'd be happy why isn't she happy he isn't Quirkless anymore she doesn't have to make sure he isn't hurt because he's more fragile anymore

Midoriya started on his homework, and looked at the time after he'd finished it. Four hours. It had taken him four hours to do his homework. Given his classes that assigned homework were English, Modern Literature, Modern Hero Art History, and Math, that means he took up an entire hour for each class's assigned homework. And he hadn't even started on his daily workout to maintain enough muscle mass One For All wouldn't hurt the next time he decided to use it. He had to work on getting things done faster with the same amount of quality, he couldn't afford to hurt himself worse than he already did each time he used the Quirk that All Might had given him. He needed to make sure he had enough muscle so the Quirk wouldn't hurt him, he couldn't slack off if he wanted to keep his limbs.

It wasn't an excuse to pretend he didn't notice that his mom seemed like she didn't love him anymore

He just needed to go for a run. Listening to music would help with giving him motivation, and Midoriya could use the fresh air anyway.

It wasn't to get away from his mother who was both stiflingly smothering and yet remained as distant as she could possibly get away with. Yes it was it wasn't, he just wanted to go for a run. If he grabbed some money to go get food at a café instead of trying to find something in the apartment, that was his business. He couldn't remember the last time his mother bought enough groceries to feed both of them, but it was fine. No it wasn't. It was okay.

Someone save me please I need someone to care about me I'll even take Shigaraki at this point. I just want someone to give me a hug or tell me I did a good job please anyone I just want to feel like I'm not still just a useless stupid waste of space Quirkless deku

He was just a bit too much at times for his mother he couldn't remember the last time she'd smiled at him.

Chapter 3: Liar Liar Cloud On Fire

Chapter Text

A few days passed since Bakugou had asked Izuku what was wrong and the nerd lied in response and he was only getting more worried over the green-haired boy. Izuku was getting skinnier, pushing himself harder during training, and even drawing away from the friends he'd made. People who hadn't known the nerd for as long as Bakugou had might not be able to notice, but the blond did and wondered if he'd need to get his parents involved. Both of them still remembered, and had the photos of both Izuku's dads with Izuku in case the nerd started to remember what the past was actually like. How he didn't have a biological mother, his dads had found someone with a Quirk that allowed two men to have a child without involving a woman or two women without involving a man and had paid quite a bit more than what the person was offering their services for, because Uncle Hisashi and Uncle Oboro had been wanting a child of their own for so long and they had been denied every single time they tried to adopt.

"Nerd. We need to talk." Bakugou said flatly, and Izuku looked caught off-guard.

"Fine." Izuku replied, saying goodbye to his friends and following the explosive blond.

Bakugou waited until he was completely sure the two were alone before he turned to Izuku so they'd be face-to-face for the talk.

"Be honest with me. Is she hurting you again?" He asked, and Izuku frowned.

"Kac-chan, what do you mean by again?" Izuku asked, and the green-haired boy's hands began to shake.

"You… you don't remember, do you?" Bakugou asked, having extremely strong suspicions but needing to confirm it anyway.

"Remember… remember what?" Izuku furrowed his brow in confusion.

"Inko used to hurt you when we were kids. You'd come to school covered in bruises and somehow the teachers believed you when you said you were just clumsy. You had the best balance of anyone and moved like you were dancing, and the teachers believed you when you said you were clumsy." Bakugou frowned.

"I don't remember that, sorry Kac-chan." Yes I remember please save me it hurts I want my dads Izuku replied.

"Do you at least remember Uncle Hisashi or Uncle Oboro? Do you remember either of your dads?" Bakugou asked, and froze when Izuku began to go through full-body shakes that had evolved slowly from full-body shivers he somehow hadn't noticed.

It almost looked like Izuku was having a seizure, except he was still standing and Bakugou could tell by his eyes that he was entirely present. Izuku was having something scarily similar to a seizure, except it was completely different because Bakugou could read the emotions in his eyes clear as day. Izuku was terrified, excited in the bad way, nervous, angry, hurt, and so many other things at the same time.

The shaking stopped after a few minutes, and there were hints of blue in Izuku's green eyes.

"They- they weren't made up? Mom lied to me?" Izuku asked in a quiet voice, almost whispering as his eyes filled with tears.

"Inko isn't your mom, nerd. You don't have a mom, you have two dads." Bakugou said, doing his best to sound gentle because Izuku was remembering, which meant Ku-chan wasn't lost forever.

"Do you know how many times I've had dreams of having two dads, and she's told me it's just childish daydreams? Kac-chan, I thought I was going crazy with how detailed the dreams were." Izuku mumbled, and Bakugou pulled him into a tight hug.

"Tell me you still remember what your Quirk was like, please. I need to know she didn't take that from you too." Bakugou whispered into curls that were the wrong shade of green, and Izuku began to shake in his arms.

"I- I had- had a Quirk?" Izuku stuttered after he was done shaking, and Bakugou held him closer in response.

"You called it Manipulation Warp, since it was a mix of Uncle Hisashi's Fire Manipulation Quirk and Uncle Oboro's Cloud Warp Quirk; you could make vortexes and use them to warp things to other places. We used to have a lot of fun when you were practicing with it, you'd catch my explosions in these tiny little cloud vortexes and then warp them above our heads with fire vortexes. It looked like fireworks." Bakugou murmured, and pulled away from the hug enough to look Izuku in the eye.

Izuku's eyes now had just enough blue that it was noticeable his eyes weren't just green, but not enough to pinpoint what the other colour was.

Chapter 4: The Accident

Chapter Text

It was nearing a week and a half since Midoriya and Kac-chan talked a week and a half since Ki-chan started to save him. The dekusquad plus a few others were out doing something to bond with Aizawa's permission, and Midoriya's new eye colour hadn't been noticed by anyone around him other than the blond that had been there when his eyes changed. Midoriya had also used less makeup to hide the bruises, making the foundation a very thin layer instead of caked on. Not that anyone but Kac-chan had noticed he was wearing any in the first place. They still hadn't noticed, and Midoriya wondered if they ever would. It wasn't as if they only ever saw him with bruises covering his body.

"Midoriya-chan, are you feeling alright? You look a bit peaky, kero." Asui frowned in concern, and Midoriya gave a small smile that didn't reach his eyes that weren't quite green but weren't quite blue yet either.

"I'm fine, Tsuyu-chan." Midoriya said, wondering silently how it was that someone outside his friend group was the second to notice he didn't look okay.

Weren't they the ones who spent the most time with him? Shouldn't they have noticed first? But it was Kac-chan who noticed first, it was Kac-chan who confronted him, it was Ki-chan who just wanted Ku-chan back, it was Kac-chan who told him the truth.

"Deku-kun, look out!" Uraraka yelled, right before a large form crashed into Midoriya and knocked him over, landing on him harshly.

Midoriya heard something snap and felt his torso erupt in near-painful heat.

"Move it, runt!" A gravelly voice ordered in a harsh tone, and the crushing weight leapt off Midoriya before continuing to run.

"Midoriya-kun, are you alright?" Iida asked, moving to help him up from where he was laying.

"I think that guy broke one of my ribs." Midoriya groaned as he accepted the hand up while holding his side where the heat was strongest.

"We should get you looked at, it wouldn't do to let a possibly broken rib be aggravated more than absolutely necessary, kero." Asui said, and Midoriya tried not to yelp in surprise when Iida lifted him into a bridal carry.

The heat was now spreading across his body in a strangely comforting wave, but Midoriya somehow managed to ignore it. It had to be the person's Quirk, but Midoriya hadn't gotten a good look at them so he couldn't describe them to find out. Sure, the voice had been gravelly and on the deeper side, but they still could've been a woman.

"Midobro, are you… shrinking?" Kirishima asked in alarm, and Midoriya opened his eyes that he hadn't realised he'd shut.

It was indeed true that he was shrinking. His surroundings were getting bigger, Iida had to adjust the way he was holding him, his clothes were becoming more and more like blankets he was wrapped in and not a shirt and sweatpants. Todoroki had to rescue his shoes when they fell off, to prevent the red high tops from being left behind. His beanie now covered his entire face and not just his hair.

"We have to get him to Recovery Girl, she might be able to help figure out what's going on." Todoroki said in his usual monotone, though it was clear he was worried for his friend.

Midoriya must’ve blacked out, because the next thing he knew he was on a bed that was a lot bigger than him and wearing a shirt that was so big it was like a dress on him. He was tired, and a little cold, and wanted Ki-chan or his dad or papa. And who were the tall people in the room with him? One of them looked a lot like Ingenium, but he was wearing glasses. There was a pretty green girl, and a girl with nice brown hair, and a pretty boy with spiky hair like Ki-chan’s but it was red, and a really pretty boy with blue and grey eyes and red and white hair, and then there was a nice-looking old lady wearing a nurse outfit.

“Oh good, he’s up. Midoriya-kun, do you know who these people are?” The nice-looking old lady asked.

“I want Ki-chan.” Midoriya said, pouting when the not-Ingenium boy told him they didn’t know who that was.

“How come your eyes are blue now, Midoriya-kun?” The girl with nice brown hair asked, and Midoriya frowned.

“I always had blue eyes. I get ‘em from my papa, that’s what Daddy says.” Midoriya told her, and then bared his teeth when the not-Ingenium went to scold the girl with nice brown hair.

“Oh my god, you have little shark teeth. Adorable.” The pretty boy with spiky red hair grinned, and Midoriya grinned back when he saw the pretty boy had pointy teeth like him.

“Papa says it’s his mama’s fault I got pointies, she had a sh- shocky- shackeh-” Midoriya pouted again when he couldn't pronounce his grandmama’s Quirk name.

“You have two dads? That’s so cool, I have two moms.” The pretty boy with spiky red hair and pointy teeth grinned, and Midoriya smiled back.

“Did they go to the person that my dads went to? The person with that Quirk that lets two boys or two girls have a kid without the other gender?” Midoriya asked excitedly, and the pretty boy with spiky red hair and pointy teeth seemed to get excited too.

“Yeah, they did.” He grinned with bright red eyes, swooping Midoriya off the too-big bed and spinning him around a little.

Midoriya giggled, forgetting for the moment that he wanted Ki-chan or his dads as the pretty boy with spiky red hair and teeth like his held him.

“Hey, Midoriya-chan? Is Key-chan’s name Bakugou Katsuki?” The pretty green girl asked.

“Yeah! That’s my Ki-chan! We’re gonna be heroes together!” Midoriya cheered, grinning so hard his eyes squinted shut.

“Must protect.” The really pretty boy with blue and grey eyes and red and white hair muttered.

“Oh my god, he’s so precious.” The girl with nice brown hair mumbled, and Midoriya yawned.

“He’s cleared to go to the dorms with you lot, but be careful. Right now, Midoriya-kun most likely won’t recognise anyone and until we figure out how long it will be until he goes back to normal it would be best to avoid over-exciting him. Make sure he gets sleep as well, his body is currently that of a five-year-old.” The nice-looking old lady said, and the pretty boy with spiky red hair carried Midoriya out of the room with the rest of the teens following.

Chapter 5: Tiny Tiny Midori

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Bakugou had just woken up, glad it was the weekend so he didn't have to go to class and had been able to sleep in a little. Unfortunately, with the dorms, he had to deal with the idiots he had as classmates daily. Fortunately, all but one of them had realised that his aggression for the day only started after something upset him, which meant his aggressive streak had gone down dramatically and he could actually be pleasant to be around sometimes (that person being Grapist. Which was ridiculous, since even Eyebags knew Bakugou was only unpleasant after something upset him).

Also someone had somehow explained that he's terrible with names and that the nicknames were his way of remembering who people were without having to ask their names almost daily (Izuku was Bakugou's main suspect).

"Ears, pass me the tea?" Bakugou asked when he saw her in the kitchen, grabbing his mug from the cupboard and starting his kettle (he'd switched to an electric one instead of stovetop after seeing Icyhot's reaction to the whistle it made, moving a hand towards the scar on his face with a panicked expression like he was remembering something extremely painful).

She nodded, handing him a box of his favourite blueberry tea so he could make his morning cup and wake up a little before something inevitably set him off at some point before noon.

"Thanks." Bakugou sent her a not-quite-awake smile, put the bag in his mug, then handed the box back to her to put away.

Ears was one of the few people Bakugou trusted to touch his stuff and not mess with it. High Class was one of the others, and she sometimes suggested new things for Bakugou to try that she thought he'd enjoy. And after Legs had realised that the nicknames were Bakugou's way of remembering who people were, he'd started suggesting new ones that weren't as demeaning as the ones the class had started with so people wouldn't be so upset about it. Even though Legs had been the only one who had been genuinely offended before he was told it was Bakugou's way of remembering who people were.

"Good morning, Bakugou-kun." Arms greeted him, giving the blond a nod from where he was sitting at the table eating some sort of Western style breakfast.

"Not a good one yet, haven't had my tea." Bakugou retorted, and poured the hot water into his mug when his kettle gave the little beep that meant the water was ready.

He had let his tea steep and was in the process of adding sugar when one of his idiots and Izuku's friends walked into the dorms. Bakugou froze in place when he saw that Eijirou was holding an Izuku that looked the way he had when he was a kid, right down to the razor-sharp teeth that were just barely showing as he talked a mile a minute. Izuku, who had bright azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes and green-white hair and dimples and razor-sharp teeth again, and was as small as he had been when he was still Ku-chan and his Quirk hadn’t vanished yet.

“Izuku?” Bakugou whispered, staring at the little boy who was dwarfed by the shirt Izuku had probably worn when he was big.

Izuku snapped to look at him so fast, Bakugou was actually worried about the kid getting whiplash. He grinned as he saw Bakugou, azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes lighting up. He immediately launched himself from Eijirou’s arms and started running to Bakugou, tripping over the hem of his shirt-dress when he was almost halfway there.

“KI-CHAN YOU’RE SO BIG!!” The tiny version of Izuku yelled with a bright grin and happy eyes, not even upset as he got back to his feet and continued to run to the explosive blond.

“What happened to the nerd?” Bakugou asked, looking at the group as he knelt a little and caught Izuku as the blue-eyed boy launched himself at the blond.

“He got hit by a Quirk, and didn’t recognise us when he woke up in Recovery Girl’s office. How did you recognise him as soon as you saw him? If any of us had seen him after and weren’t there when he shrunk, we wouldn't have.” Eijirou said, and Bakugou gave him an unimpressed expression.

“I grew up with him, Spiky Hair. He looks like he did before It happened. Don’t ask me what It is, I don’t even know myself. All I know is he looked like this before It, and he looked like what you’re used to after.” Bakugou said, situating the bouncing toddler on his hip.

“So… what was the thing about Midoriya-kun saying he has two dads when we’ve met his mom?” Legs asked, and Bakugou made a sour face at the mention of that woman.

“Inko isn’t his mom. She threatened his dads into leaving him with her. Uncle Hisashi and Uncle Oboro honestly should’ve used their licenses to get her arrested for what she did.” Bakugou said, letting the tiny Izuku play with his free hand as he talked.

He should have known better, when he felt something sharp touch his skin. Bakugou looked down, to see that Izuku was putting his fingers into the mouth full of razor-sharp teeth.

“No biting. I still have a scar on my shoulder from when we were kids, and I’m not going to explain to my mother that you bit me again when I have to get stitches. Brat.” Bakugou said almost affectionately, and Izuku pouted as he brought his mouth away from Bakugou’s fingers.

“You said you got attacked by a wild animal when I asked about that scar, though?” Elbows questioned from where he was on the couch.

“You think I wanted to admit I got bit by a child, who doesn’t understand that when adults bite each other it’s different. I still blame Uncle Oboro when he explained that Uncle Hisashi bites him to show he loves him.” Bakugou said, and a few of his classmates choked on whatever they were eating or drinking.

“Oh my god, that’s- I’m sorry, all I’m imagining right now is your parents calling Midoriya-kun’s to yell at them because their kid bit you, and the only explanation they get is that Midoriya-kun loves you.” Horns said, trying and failing to hold in her laughter.

Notes:

Izuku: Papa, why does Daddy bite you?
Shirakumo: *panicking* Oh, that's just how your daddy shows me that he loves me, little cloud

-Later-

Mitsuki: SHIRAKUMO OBORO WHY DID YOUR BRAT BITE MY BRAT?!?!?!
Shirakumo: *nervous sweating*

Chapter 6: What Do You Mean Sensei's His Uncle?!

Chapter Text

Midoriya was happily playing a game with the pink girl after the pretty tall lady made him some new clothes. They were even made to look like Papa's costume he wore to fight villains! He was happily running around, but he kept having to fix the goggles so they'd stop falling off his head. And Ki-chan wouldn't let him bite anyone to show he liked them, that was so unfair! That's what his daddy does to show his papa he loves him, why can't Midoriya do the same?!

"Recovery Girl told me the problem child was hit with a Quirk that made him younger. Where is he?" A voice Midoriya knew very well asked, and the small child immediately perked up at the sound, his blue eyes lighting up.

"Uncle Shouta!!!" He screeched, running and wrapping his arms around the tall man's legs to hug him.

"What, is Shirakumo Izuku doing he- don't tell me that my godson and the problem child are the same person." Uncle Shouta pinched his nose, sighing as he put the pieces together.

"???" The really pretty boy somehow verbalised question marks, and Midoriya giggled a little as he grinned up at his uncle.

"Wait what? I thought he was my mom's godson?" Ki-chan looked at Uncle Shouta in confusion.

"Papa made Uncle Shouta my god-daddy, and Daddy made Auntie Mitsuki my god-mommy." Midoriya explained with a grin, and laughed as Uncle Shouta picked him up.

"God-daddy." The tall boy with the big mouth muttered, and Midoriya tugged a little on Uncle Shouta's pretty scarf thingy.

"Uncle Shouta, why wasn't my daddy or Papa in the white room?" He asked, and Uncle Shouta made a gross face.

"Your dads couldn't make it. Oboro's in the Nigata prefecture on a mission, and Hisashi is working a case there as well." Uncle Shouta explained patiently, and Midoriya made a face.

"Tell Papa he's not allowed to get hurt because then he'll have to go to the big white place and they have yucky food, and tell Daddy I'm gonna kick his leg when he gets back. They're not allowed to leave me, the mean lady yells a lot and Auntie Mitsuki can't make her go away for some reason." Midoriya said plainly, and Uncle Shouta smiled a little.

"I'll make sure to tell Oboro he's not allowed to end up in the hospital because his son said, 'the food is yucky'. I'm not telling Hisashi you're going to kick his leg, he'll be even more dramatic about it if he sees it coming." Uncle Shouta replied, and the tall people in the room that Midoriya didn't know made faces like they were trying not to laugh.

"Why is Ki-chan so big? I didn't wanna ask him in case he just got fat." Midoriya whispered to Uncle Shouta poorly, and some of the people he didn't know started laughing.

"You got hit with a Quirk that made you younger. You're actually a student here at Yuuei with everyone here." Uncle Shouta explained in a way Midoriya would understand, and the little boy lit up.

"I got into Yuuei? They liked my Quirk?" Midoriya asked as Uncle Shouta set him down, and the little boy looked at Ki-chan with a bright smile.

"Yeah. They- they liked your Quirk, Ku-chan." Ki-chan wouldn't look him in the eye; he looked like he'd eaten something gross, like a lemon.

"Even though the teachers said it was a bad Quirk and it meant I was a bad person?" Midoriya asked in a small voice, not wanting the people he didn't know to know he had a villain Quirk so the teachers thought he'd be a villain.

"Midoriya-chan, what do you mean by that?" The pretty green girl asked, and Midoriya clapped his hands over his mouth and shook his head.

"Is no one gonna talk about Bakugou-kun calling Mido-kun 'Ku-chan'? Because that's an adorable nickname." A blond boy with a black zigzag in his hair smiled.

"You're pretty." Midoriya blurted as he looked at the blond boy with the zigzag in his hair.

"Me?" The blond zigzag boy asked, pointing at his chest.

"Yeah, but you're not as pretty as Ki-chan even if you're prettier than the crimimas boy." Midoriya said, doing his best to let the zigzag boy down gently.

"You think Icyhot's pretty?" Ki-chan asked, drinking something hot from a shiny cup.

"Shiny." Midoriya whispered, looking at the cup and deciding he wanted it; it was shiny, so he legally had to have it.

"No. This is my cup. I bought it myself. I don't care that you have this obsession with shiny things, you're not getting my cup." Ki-chan said, and Midoriya frowned.

"Want the shiny…" He mumbled, sitting on the floor and pouting at not getting the shiny thing that Ki-chan had.

"I have some shiny things you can have, little Midoriya-kun." A blond boy with purple eyes said, producing mirrors from somewhere and handing them to the small child.

"Shinies!" Midoriya cheered, accepting the mirrors with a bright grin and beginning to play with them happily.

"I'm very tempted to make shiny things now just to become the small child's favourite." The pretty tall lady muttered.

"Kid, you know you're not allowed to have mirrors. Last time you were this small and got your hands on one, you tried to eat it. When that didn't work, you used it to shine the sun directly into people's faces." Uncle Shouta said, taking the mirrors away.

"Shiny…" Midoriya started pouting again, wanting the shiny things back.

Chapter 7: I Said No Biting!

Chapter Text

Bakugou resigned himself to making one of the only foods Izuku would eat when he was small, extra crispy tempura. It wasn’t as healthy as the blond would like Izuku to eat, but the kid would absolutely refuse to eat anything that wasn’t unhealthy or at the very least fried.

"Don't bite anyone or I won't make you any food you like, brat." Bakugou said, pointing his spatula at the small child to get his point across.

"Not even if I really really like them?" Izuku asked, blue eyes threatening to spill tears as his chin quivered.

"Not even then. Or I'm telling Uncle Hisashi you didn't listen." Bakugou said, and Izuku's tears started to fall.

Unlike the green-eyed version of Izuku that 1-A had come to know as someone who cried loudly at anything, this blue-eyed version did it silently and had only just cried for the first time around them. Surprisingly, it was Half 'n Half that approached the child to comfort him first out of his classmates.

"Do you like ice, Midoriya-chan?" Icyhot asked the crying boy, and Izuku turned to look at him.

"Crimimas boy." Izuku sniffled, trying to stop crying as Icyhot held his right hand out for the kid to look at.

"It's pronounced 'daddy issues', but yes." Half 'n Half said, and Izuku giggled through his still falling tears, and Bakugou found himself almost proud of teaching Icyhot abused kid humour.

"What's a daddy issue? Are your daddies fighting?'' Izuku said, immediately getting worried and looking at Half 'n Half with wide blue eyes.

"My father and mother are not fighting. Daddy issues are what it's called when someone has a really mean dad that hurts them." Icyhot said, and Izuku made an offended noise.

"I'll fight your daddy! You're pretty and nice, so I'mma fight him for being mean to you!'' The very small five-year-old declared, and Icyhot stared at the child with a look that screamed 'I beg your pardon'.

"Please don't fight Endeavor, you could get hurt." High Class said, and Izuku gasped.

"Your daddy's Endeavor? My daddy calls your daddy a 'white trash bitch ass motherfucking two-bit pathetic ten yen whore' but don't tell my papa. He'll make Daddy sleep on the couch for talking bad about someone again." Izuku said, as if he hadn't just said four curse words in the span of a minute.

"Midoriya-kun's father is very brave." Pikachu murmured, and Bakugou finished making the kid's tempura.

"Hisashi is also one of the stupidest men I know. He's on par with Hizashi for being loud and annoying, yet somehow Hisashi has yet to get a noise complaint." Hobo-sensei said, and Bakugou snickered at the looks of confusion his classmates had.

"Sensei, you know two men with the same name?" Ears asked.

"No. Hizashi, better known to you as Present Mic, spells his name H-I-Z-A-S-H-I, and Hisashi, Izuku's father, spells his name H-I-S-A-S-H-I. The difference is only one letter, but both get very dramatically offended if someone mixes them up. It gets annoying after the twenty-fifth time." Hobo-sensei deadpanned, and Bakugou cackled.

"Ow!" Icyhot said, pulling his hand away from Izuku - his hand that was bleeding.

"Shirakumo Izuku. Did you just bite Todoroki-kun after you were told not to bite anyone?" Hobo-sensei said with narrowed eyes.

"B- b- but Papa says Daddy bites him to show love! And I really really really like the crimimas boy!" Izuku said in his defense, blue eyes wide and pleading.

"Go stand in the corner. We don't bite people." Hobo-sensei ordered the child, and Izuku made a sad noise before opening a cloud-edged Warp in front of his feet that opened into a fire-edged one by the corner, walking through with a pout.

"That- that is not Midoriya-kun's Quirk. What the-?" Ojiro said in disbelief.

"No, it is Izuku's Quirk. It's the one that manifested when we were kids, not the fuckin whatever you wanna call it that he has now." Bakugou said, his expression daring anyone to contradict him when he had known Izuku the longest and had recognised him when no one else had.

Chapter 8: A Loud Blond Uncle

Chapter Text

After the revelation that Shirakumo Izuku had a fire-and-cloud warping Quirk died down and he wasn't in timeout anymore, the small child was happy to use his Quirk to help entertain Ki-chan's classmates.

"KI-CHAN WE CAN DO THE FIREWORKS!!" Shirakumo grinned at the realisation, flashing his sharp chompers as his blue eyes lit up.

"Do the fireworks?" The pretty zigzag boy grinned at Ki-chan, and Shirakumo turned to look at Ki-chan pleadingly.

"Fine, kid. But we're doing them outside, I don't wanna risk you accidentally setting the dorms on fire." Ki-chan rolled his eyes, and Shirakumo gave a very loud yell of joy.

The group moved to just outside the dorms, Shirakumo being held by the pretty engine boy so he wouldn't get left behind. Ki-chan knelt down a little, and the pretty engine boy set Shirakumo down so he could go to his favouritest person outside his dads.

"Are you ready, Izuku?" Ki-chan asked, and Shirakumo grinned before forming a small cloud-edged Warp, a fire-edged one opening several feet above their heads to avoid hurting anyone with the 'fireworks'.

"Ready!" Shirakumo grinned, and Ki-chan stuck his hand through the Warp before setting off his Quirk and letting loose a few explosions.

"They do look like fireworks." The pretty zigzag boy whispered, and Shirakumo giggled as he looked up at the makeshift fireworks him and Ki-chan made.

"Ki-chan, can we nyoom?" Shirakumo asked, and Ki-chan rolled his eyes before nodding.

"Sure. But you better not tell your dads you nyoomed again. They'll try to ground me." Ki-chan pulled his hand out of the Warp, then waited for Shirakumo to close it.

"Ready, Ki-chan!" Shirakumo grinned, and was picked up before being held in the air.

"I'm not dropping you until you open your Warps, I value my life." Ki-chan said, and Shirakumo opened a Warp under his feet and one above his head.

"Nyoom!" Shirakumo laughed, and Ki-chan dropped him.

Shirakumo fell into the cloud-edged Warp, dropped out of the fire-edged one, fell into the cloud-edged Warp, dropped out of the fire-edged one, and repeated. He was laughing the entire time, giggles and snorts leaving the blue-eyed boy as he had fun before Uncle Shouta made his nyooming stop by Erasing his Quirk and making him land on the grass.

"That looked like a lot of fun, Midoriya-chan." The pretty green girl said, and Shirakumo grinned at her.

"It is! It's like a really really really long slide an' it make you go whoosh an' zoom an' my daddies only like me doing it when there's an adult around." Shirakumo said, giggling as he tried and failed to walk straight.

The five-year-old boy looked past his uncle Shouta, and gasped excitedly as he saw his other uncle and godfather.

"UNCLE ZASHI YOU'RE SO TALL!" The child exclaimed, immediately opening a fire-edged Warp in front of him and a cloud-edged one much closer to the blond Pro hero.

The small child ran through the Warp, appearing near the Hero and tackling his legs in an energetic hug.

"Magpie?!" Uncle Zashi questioned after he was tackled, looking down at the blue-eyed boy that was now grinning at him with scarily sharp teeth.

"Hi Uncle Zashi!" Shirakumo said happily as the tall people and Uncle Shouta and Ki-chan ran to where they were.

"Shouta. Please explain how the little Magpie here, is here when he should be 15 now and why he tackled me." Uncle Zashi said to Uncle Shouta, and Shirakumo grinned more.

"Why isn't small Midoriya-kun's smile terrifying?" One of the tall people muttered, but Shirakumo was more interested in messing with Uncle Zashi's shiny things on his shirt.

"Problem Child and Shirakumo-chan are the same person, and got hit with a Quirk while out shopping with his friend group. This is the result." Uncle Shouta said, gesturing to where Shirakumo was trying to take Uncle Zashi's zipper off his jacket.

"Magpie, stop trying to steal my zipper. I know it's shiny, but you can't have it." Uncle Zashi said, and Shirakumo gave up on getting it.

"Shiny." The small one mumbled as he pouted, crossing his arms grumpily.

Chapter 9: Reveals

Chapter Text

Bakugou wanted it on record that he did not approve of letting Izuku run wild. It was a good thing that the only people to see the de-aged child were class 1-A and two of the boy’s three godfathers. Though Bakugou had had to stop the warper from leaving 1-A’s dorms to ensure no one else saw him. It wouldn't do for the kid's vulnerability to become known, who knows what might happen.

"Little one, I have something for you." High Class said, holding a bunch of shiny plastic gemstones in her cupped hands, crouching a little so Izuku could see them clearly.

"SHINIES!!!" The child exclaimed happily as his eyes lit up and his pupils slitted, accepting the brightly coloured toys and giving a light nip with his impossibly sharp teeth to one of her fingers in appreciation for the gift.

The pale green-haired boy immediately went to do whatever it was he did with the shiny things he collected, opening a Warp and running through it with his arms full of the shiny fake gemstones and a too-bright grin stretching his face. A few minutes later, Izuku came back through the Warp without the gems and his pupils still much narrower than the average person's.

"Why are your eyes like that? Kero." Froggy asked, and Izuku giggled.

“Cause my daddy’s sister can be a dragon an’ I got some dragon stuffish from her!” The child exclaimed happily, and Bakugou sighed exasperatedly.

"Uncle Hisashi is the Hero Ryukyu's brother. He got fire manipulation, she got dragon transformation. The reason it isn't common knowledge is because Aunt Ryuko doesn't talk about her family in interviews much." The blond explained in a grumble as Izuku babbled happily at Froggy and Round Cheeks about something or other.

"Where did you find this kid again?" Eyebags asked, looking Hobo-sensei directly in the eye with a deadpan expression.

"This is Oboro's son." Hobo-sensei answered as if that explained anything.

"No, he's not. Uncle Oboro's kid is my age, not a tiny piranha look alike." Eyebags stated plainly, eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion.

"Wait, uncle?" Pikachu questioned, looking at his not-boyfriend in shock.

"... Did I forget to mention that Mic-sensei's my dad? I thought I mentioned that at some point." Eyebags realised, and Loud-sensei facepalmed loudly.

"Hitoshi, I know for a fact you never told anyone you're my kid. And when I asked why, you said you wanted to see how long it would take for people to realise." Loud-sensei sounded exasperated, but in a fond way.

"... Does this mean you've seen our English essays?" Horns asked quietly.

"I've helped grade them." Eyebags grinned almost maliciously.

"Wait, you're not Aizawa-sensei's kid?" Icyhot looked shocked.

"... You thought Uncle Shouta was my dad? Why?" Eyebags asked in a deadpan.

"My own mother accused you of being Shouta's kid, Hitoshi, and she was there at the hospital when you were born." Loud-sensei pointed out.

"Your fault for sleeping with his sister." Eyebags retorted, and the room got dead silent.

"I'm telling you for the hundredth time, Nemuri is not my sister." Hobo-sensei grumbled, picking Izuku up when the child tried to run past him.

"And I'm telling you for the hundredth time, you can't keep denying the family resemblance." Eyebags replied with a shit-eating grin.

"Wait, Mic-sensei and Midnight-sensei slept together?!" Elbows started freaking out.

"... How else would people be made?" Pikachu questioned like he was almost afraid of getting a serious answer.

Chapter 10: Reverse To Go Forward

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Shirakumo stayed a five-year-old for another week before the Quirk wore off. When it finally did, he returned to being 15 years old but kept his pale white-green hair, azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes, too-sharp teeth, and dimples rather than the appearance he'd started Yuuei with.

"Ki-chan, I remember everything." He said as soon as he was downstairs, grinning at the blond elatedly.

"Holy shit, you guys weren't joking about the tiny child being Uncle Oboro's kid." Shinsou nearly dropped his coffee as he stared at the green-haired boy.

"Shinsou-kun! Are you here to replace the fucking pathetic shit stain?!" Shirakumo's grin widened upon seeing the brainwashing insomniac.

Several people snorted, and Shinsou grinned back at Shirakumo as he went to take another drink of his coffee.

"Oi, Ku-chan, get your ass over here. Need to know if this shit's spicy 'nough for ya." Ki-chan said, and Shirakumo laughed before using his Quirk to Warp over to where his best friend was cooking something on the stove.

Of course, he couldn't have used it as a doorway. No no no, that would've been far too mainstream for the teen who had inherited both his fathers' flairs for dramatics. Rather, Shirakumo opened a fire-edged Warp beneath his feet and a cloud-edged one in the air by the stove. He made sure to land far enough away that whatever Ki-chan was making wouldn't end up spitting hot grease at him.

"You and Kirishima-kun are smile twinsies." Kaminari pointed out, and Shirakumo and Kirishima grinned at each other.

"You know, I love how the only Legacy kids who act like Legacies are Iida and Todoroki. No one would know me and Midoriya-kun are Legacies too if they didn't know who our parents are." Shinsou pointed out.

Shirakumo made a disgusted face. "Feels gross being called Midoriya now that I remember everything."

"Wait, your family name isn't Midoriya? What is it then, if it's not that?" Todoroki asked in confusion.

"Shirakumo, like my papa. Dad's family name before he and Papa got married was Akatani, but he chose to take Papa's instead." Shirakumo shrugged, and Ki-chan shoved a spoon of something in his mouth.

"Shut up and eat your damn food." The blond said in a deadpan, and Shirakumo smiled at the taste.

"God damn did I miss spicy food. Inko couldn't season to save her life and it showed when she'd stop me from getting the good shit." Shirakumo relaxed where he stood, practically becoming a puddle standing up.

"Uh… you good?" Sero asked, looking Shirakumo over.

"Sero-kun, my dude, I have never been better. Ki-chan makes the absolute best spicy food I've ever tasted, including when I was still with my dads and Dad made the family special for occasions." Shirakumo gave a dumb smile at the memory of the Good Shit™ as he referred to it as.

"So give you spicy stuff as bribery, got it." Ojiro nodded, smiling a little at how relaxed Shirakumo was with spicy food in his hands.

"Ku-chan, shut your damn whore mouth. Don't you ever dare think about saying my cooking's better than Uncle Hisashi's, that's fucking sacrilege and you know it." Ki-chan pointed a spoon threateningly at Shirakumo, his expression screaming that he wouldn't hesitate.

Notes:

Who should Shirakumo Izuku end up with? Bakugou and Shinsou are the only boys completely off the list of potential boyfriends because Bakugou's like a brother and Shinsou is Izuku's god-brother

Chapter 11: Confrontation

Chapter Text

Another few days passed, with class A getting to know the real Izuku rather than the green-eyed version they'd met at the start of term. He was snarky, witty, a flirt, and had a mouth as bad as Bakugou's if he was in a bad mood. Elbows and Pikachu found themselves the targets of Izuku's flirting more than anyone else in class, and Bakugou knew it meant that Izuku was interested in the two of them.

"Ku-chan, stop flirting and just fucking ask them out already. Pikachu keeps short-circuiting because he gets so flustered and it's fucking annoying." Bakugou confronted his best friend, and Izuku smiled almost as dumb as when he had spicy food.

"But he gets so cute with his little sparking cheeks and the way his hair starts crackling with static, Ki-chan. I could look at him like that all day. And don't even get me started on how beautiful Sero-kun is when he smiles like that with his pretty little blush. God damn do I want him to smile like that at me more often." Izuku sighed dreamily, putting his chin in his hands and resting his elbows on the counter.

"W- what?" Someone said from somewhere by the kitchen entrance, and both Bakugou and Izuku looked up to see Elbows standing there, his cheeks turning red.

"You heard me." Izuku grinned at Elbows, his dimples showing as the black-haired boy turned redder.

Elbows made a quiet 'meep' noise that Bakugou would definitely tease him about later, and turned before beginning to walk away.

"Damn that's a pretty little ass. Who the fuck thinks he's a twig?" Izuku muttered, and judging on the quiet yelp Elbows made and the fact he walked into the doorframe before leaving properly, he heard him.

"You're a fucking menace to my friends. Why can't you just poke fun at your crush like me?" Bakugou demanded, and Izuku had the nerve to laugh.

"Oh, is that why you call him 'Shitty Hair' so often? Because you like~ him?" Izuku grinned, and Bakugou hated that his smile looked more like Eijirou's than ever at that moment.

"I fucking hate you." Bakugou muttered, not meaning it as he turned to focus on his 'ultimate spicy death concoction' as his friends called it.

"No you don't~ I'm your main source of entertainment, Ki-chan." Izuku refuted effortlessly, and Bakugou hated that he was right.

Bakugou walked into the living room a while later with a bowl of yakisoba to see Pikachu short-circuited with Izuku sitting on his lap like he belonged there. The damn nerd was grinning at Pikachu like he'd just won the lottery, and Elbows was watching like he wanted Izuku to sit on his lap.

Bakugou immediately walked out of the living room, deciding he wasn't going to deal with that. His best friend wanted to date two of his other friends, and Bakugou knew better than to actually interfere and make them start dating already.

Chapter 12: Ah Yes, "Helping" Your God-Brother

Chapter Text

Shirakumo would like it on record that he did not consent to being locked in a small closet with Kaminari and Sero by Uncle Zashi and Auntie Nem's kid. Yes, they were his crushes. Yes, he probably should’ve seen this coming. Yes, he was definitely going to be getting his pseudo-cousin back for this outrage.

“So, uh… you come here often?” Kaminari joked nervously.

“The closet? Nah, I haven’t been in since I was eight.” Sero replied, and Shirakumo laughed a little.

“I can use my Quirk for us to escape if you guys want. I just need to know what the place we’re popping into looks like or have an address and/or location for it to work.” Shirakumo offered, and was rewarded by a pair of honey-brown and one of golden-sunshine eyes looking at him with bright smiles.

“You can do that?” Sero asked excitedly.

“Yep. I can either pop us into my room, the common room, or somewhere else if you know where it is.” Shirakumo explained, and Kaminari immediately pulled his phone out to look for somewhere for the three of them to go.

“Can we go to this place? They have really good boba and I’ve been wanting some for a while now.” The blond asked, showing his screen to Shirakumo to reveal an address for a cat cafe.

“I’ve got no objections. You wanna go to a cat cafe, Sero-kun?” Shirakumo turned his attention to the tallest boy in the room, and Sero blushed a little.

“I like cats.” He mumbled, and Shirakumo grinned.

The green-haired of the three looked at the address for the cafe Kaminari had pulled up on his phone, then grabbed both Sero and Kaminari’s hands before Warping them out of the closet and onto the street right outside the cafe. He walked forward to the cafe, still holding the hands of the other two boys, and smiled excitedly when he saw the cats lounging everywhere. Shirakumo quickly let go of the other two, racing forward to see the cats closer and pet them, smiling brightly back at Sero and Kaminari, who both blushed at the criminally pretty sight. Shirakumo had two cats in his hair (somehow), two cats in his arms, and a fifth wrapped around his shoulders.

"Kaminari-kun, you are the absolute best person ever for suggesting this. Look at all these kitties!" Shirakumo grinned, blue eyes lighting up and pupils slitting a little as he bounced back to his two companions.

"Y- y- you can, um, c- can call me Denki, Shi- Shirakumo-kun." Kamin- Denki stuttered, his cheeks sparking a little with static electricity.

"Okay!" Shirakumo agreed, passing one of the two cats in his arms to a still-blushing Sero and the other to Denki before pulling both of them to a table in the back next to a huge cat palace.

Sero and Denki followed, seeming amused by how giddy Shirakumo was at how many cats there were.

"If I had known you'd get this excited, I would've asked you to a cat cafe weeks ago." Sero muttered, and Shirakumo let loose a soft giggle.

"If I steal all these kitties, do you think Shouta-sensei will get upset?" Shirakumo asked, looking up at the two taller boys with bright blue eyes and cats curled up on him.

Denki took a picture of the adorable sight, capturing Shirakumo's bright grin, dimpled blushing cheeks, and the way his eyes were lit up. Along with the several cats around him.

"Is it okay if I send this in the class groupchat, Shirakumo-kun?" Denki asked, turning his phone so the blue-eyed boy could see the picture.

"Only if we send one of you and Sero-kun. And you can call me Izuku, if you want." Shirakumo agreed, and Denki passed the green-haired boy his phone.

"If we can call you Izuku, then you can call me Hanta." Se- Hanta said softly, blushing.

A white-and-gold-and-black coloured calico cat crawled onto Hanta's shoulders using one of the cat towers, and a leopard-like Bengal settled itself in Denki's hair. Shirakumo took the picture after the cats were done getting settled, and then passed the phone back to Denki with a bright smile.

"Alright. Should I say anything with the pictures, or nah?" Denki asked, and Hanta grinned.

"Say that Shinsou didn't think things through." He suggested, and Shirakumo nodded in agreement eagerly.

"Alright, got it." Denki laughed softly.

Dr. WATTson : [Izu_with_kitties.png]
Dr. WATTson : [Hanta_and_Denki_with_cats.png]
Dr. WATTson : Shinsou didn't think things through :p

"They're gonna be so confused and that's worth all the teasing we're gonna get." Shirakumo said after Denki's phone began to blow up with notifications.

Chapter 15: The Dads Return

Chapter Text

It took another month for Izuku’s dads to get enough time off to come see their son. Bakugou was at the gates with his best friend to greet them when Pro Hero Loud Cloud and Detective Shirakumo arrived at Yuuei after being told their son remembered them now. As soon as Uncle Hisashi and Uncle Oboro caught sight of Izuku, they both grinned and pulled the blue-eyed boy into a family group hug. Bakugou got pulled into it as soon as Uncle Hisashi caught sight of the blond, who huffed lightly and pretended to not care about the show of affection after years of not seeing his uncles.

“I’ve missed you, baby cloud.” Uncle Oboro mumbled into Izuku’s curls, and the teen gave an embarrassed laugh.

“Papa…” Izuku whined a little, and huffed out a quiet laugh when Uncle Hisashi ruffled his unruly curls.

“Be quiet, little spark. We haven’t seen you in years because of… that woman, let us have this.” Uncle Hisashi said with a fond smile, his mismatched purple and red eyes shining as he looked Izuku up and down.

“I missed you both so much.” Izuku admitted, and Bakugou rolled his eyes fondly as he and Izuku led Uncle Oboro and Uncle Hisashi to the 1-A dorms to meet everyone.

Yes, the teachers had been informed Izuku’s dads were gonna be visiting. But none of the students knew about it. So there was immediate scrambling and Elbows and Pikachu trying to hide from Izuku’s dads in the same closet. There was a gay joke Bakugou could make there, but didn’t because Elbows was pan and Pikachu was bi. Izuku was the only explicitly gay one in that relationship.

Elbows, Pikachu, and Izuku had finally gotten together after that weirdly vague text in the class chat that blamed Troll Hair for something. In the month or so the three had actually been dating and not just flirting back and forth in front of everyone, they’d gotten even more insufferable with the disgusting PDA and had been caught multiple times with their tongues down each other’s throats in the dorm hallways and right outside respective bedrooms. Eijirou had quite literally begged Bakugou to let him share his room; the redhead shared an entire wall with Elbows and heard things he wished he could unhear.

“Denki, Hanta!” Izuku grinned, running ahead of his dads and following both his boyfriends into the small closet with zero hesitation.

“Remember when we were like that, ‘Boro?” Uncle Hisashi grinned at his husband, who turned red.

“Hisashi! Not in front of the kids!” Uncle Oboro hissed, and Bakugou cackled at how embarrassed the Pro Hero seemed to be at his detective husband’s antics.

“Who’s gonna break up the boyfriends this time?” Ears sighed, looking up from her book with an exasperated look on her face.

“I’ll do it. Haven’t seen my son in about ten years, so I have some embarrassing to catch up on.” Uncle Hisashi smiled, just a hint of his far too-sharp teeth showing and catching the light.

"Is that my best friend who hasn't called me in weeks?" Loud-sensei called, and Uncle Hisashi paused in going to get Izuku to come out of the closet.

"Zashi!" Uncle Hisashi grinned before turning and hugging Loud-sensei and actually picking him up before letting go.

"I haven't seen you in way too long, Sashi." Loud-sensei grinned back and looked Uncle Hisashi up and down after they were done hugging.

"I still think being straight is a bad idea, Zashi." Uncle Hisashi teased, and Loud-sensei gasped dramatically.

"Just because my wife is bi, Shou's ace, you're pan, and Oboro's gay doesn't mean me being straight is bad. Your godson wouldn't exist if I wasn't interested in women." Loud-sensei declared loudly.

"I don't know what Katsuki's existence has to do with you being straight." Uncle Hisashi grinned mischievously, and Bakugou had a moment of realisation.

"Fucking Eyebags is my god-brother." He muttered in horror, and a few people snickered at his pain.

Was he gonna have to try and remember Eyebags' actual name now? It was hard enough remembering Izuku and Eijirou, and he only remembered their names because he wrote them under pictures of the two he had hung up in his room. Hell, Bakugou forgot his own name sometimes. He couldn't be expected to remember everyone's names when he had trouble remembering his own half the time.

Chapter 17: Planning Izuku's Revenge

Chapter Text

Shirakumo knew that he could be petty sometimes. It was in his nature, just look at who his dads were.

"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" Hanta asked, and Shirakumo smiled at his dark-haired boyfriend.

"I think Shinsou-kun should learn a lesson. He locked us in a closet, Hanta. What if one of us had claustrophobia? He could've set off a panic attack." Shirakumo explained from where he was nestled in his blond boyfriend's lap and letting Denki play with his hair.

"You're absolutely right, baby." Denki murmured in Shirakumo's ear before pressing a kiss to his cheek.

Shirakumo blushed at the affection and his pupils slitted the slightest bit, and Hanta smiled at the sight of both his boyfriends together.

"Do you have any ideas, cariño?" Hanta asked, and Shirakumo's blush that had just begun to leave returned full force at the endearment.

"He has a crush on Monoma-kun. I say that we embarrass Shinsou-kun in front of his crush whenever we get the chance." Shirakumo grinned, and Denki adjusted the two of them so he could give the blue-eyed boy a proper kiss on the mouth to show his approval of the idea.

Hanta gave a smile at the gorgeous sight of both his boys kissing, and moved closer to them. Once the black-haired teen judged himself close enough, he began to press light kisses to Shirakumo's neck, careful not to leave marks no matter how much he wanted to. As pretty as Shirakumo was marked up, none of the three wanted Uncle Shouta to lecture them or try to give them The Talk again.

Shirakumo threaded the fingers of one hand into Hanta's hair, holding the Hero-in-training close as he moved so he himself was kissing up and down Denki's neck. Carefully making sure he wasn't using his teeth, Shirakumo sucked light bruises into Denki's fair skin and listened to the beautiful sounds escaping the blond's mouth. Hanta stopped kissing Shirakumo's neck after a while, and moved on to making out with the blond with him instead.

Denki kissed Hanta back and decided to let the other teen lead, distracted by the feeling of Shirakumo's mouth on his neck.

Someone knocked on the door then, and the three boys quickly separated and began to fix any clothes that had gotten messed up. Denki's neck had light bruises that could be hidden with makeup, but only Denki's room was prepped with makeup to hide the evidence that they'd made out so far.

"Sero-kun? Are you in there?" Kirishima asked from outside the door, and the polycule relaxed.

It wasn't a teacher.

"Y- yeah, I'm in here." He said, cheeks tinting a bit red as he looked at his two boyfriends who were trying to stifle laughter.

"Have you seen Kaminari-kun? I can't find him anywhere and I need to ask him for help on something." Kirishima said, and Shirakumo let loose a tiny giggle.

The blue-eyed boy opened a cloud-edged Warp into Denki's room and quickly grabbed the foundation and concealer to hide the hickeys littering the neck of the blond in their polycule.

"Uh, uh yeah! Just a moment." Hanta turned to the two, and began helping Shirakumo cover up the hickeys so people wouldn't look at them with raised eyebrows (Dekusquad), or smirks (Bakugou), or both (nearly all the remaining classmates).

"Thank- were you making out in there?" Kirishima sounded scandalised, and the two in the relationship that weren't Hanta had to try harder to hold back their laughter.

"N- no?" Hanta tried to lie and deny it, and his voice cracked.

"Sero-kun! It's not manly to lie!" Kirishima scolded through the door, and Shirakumo broke as he imagined the face his smile twin was making.

The green-haired boy cackled, and it in turn set off Denki and Hanta's own laughter. They stopped covering up the hickeys on Denki's neck, only halfway done, to avoid messing up.

Denki walked up to the door after wrapping one of Shirakumo's very colourful scarves around his neck to hide the hickeys they hadn't gotten to, and opened it.

"Heyyy, Kiri-kun." The blond greeted, and the redhead looked like he was fighting a smile.

"You, uh, you got a little something there." He said, sounding quite amused.

Chapter 19: Damn It Zuku

Chapter Text

Bakugou knew his best friend was a complete and utter menace when he was exacting revenge on some poor unsuspecting soul. It was just in Izuku's nature to have any revenge be exceedingly petty and inconvenient to whoever had the gall to invoke his wrath.

But he didn't recall doing anything to anger his god-brother at any point in the recent past. So why the fuck did he find himself having to deal with salt in his tea instead of sugar like he'd goddamn wanted?

"FUCKING HELL!" Bakugou yelled into the quiet morning, and there were thuds from the floors above as his shout woke several sleeping individuals.

Izuku opened a Warp into the kitchen and stuck his head through the ring of fire to see what was wrong, Pikachu's room visible behind him through the vortex.

"Is something the matter, Ki-chan?" Izuku asked, tired azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes nearly drooping closed as he let out a small yawn, clearly either having just woken up or faking having just woken up.

"Did. You. Switch. The. Salt. And. Sugar." Bakugou asked in a calm tone, knowing just how much Izuku hated people yelling directly at him.

He was upset, yes. But Bakugou didn't want to make Izuku cry, he just wanted answers. He wanted to know if he'd made Izuku angry somehow and just hadn't realised.

"Shi'sou locked me 'n Han'a 'n Denks in a clos't. He coulda set off pan'c tack if 'n 'f us 'ad claus'rophob'a." Izuku explained, a yawn separating part of his statement.

So Bakugou hadn’t been the intended victim, and was instead just an unfortunate casualty. That was good to know. At least he didn't have to make sure he hadn't crossed Izuku's boundaries like when they were kids. Still, considering how Izuku was, maybe the green-haired boy would like some help making sure Eyebags learned his lesson.

“Do you want any help getting back at him for that, Ku-chan?” Bakugou asked, and his best friend gave a tired nod.

“Wan’ put the fear o’ god in ‘im.” The blue-eyed boy mumbled before closing the vortex, and Bakugou made himself a new cup of tea that wouldn't have salt in it instead of sugar.

A few hours later, Eyebags gave a small cry of despair when he took a drink of his coffee, immediately rushing to dump it out.

"What's wrong, Shinsou-kun?" Izuku asked innocently, and Bakugou grinned into his tea.

"Someone replaced the coffee with decaf and switched the salt and sugar." Eyebags said in horror, utterly scandalised at what had occurred.

"Really? Well, I'm glad I don't drink coffee then." Izuku smiled from where he sat at the table with his boyfriends, a cup of juice in front of him to go with his breakfast.

"You." Eyebags pointed aggressively at Izuku, and the blue-eyed boy put a finger to his chest.

"M- me?" He asked, sounding very confused.

Bakugou grinned into his cup from where he stood drinking his tea.

"You did this." Eyebags accused, and Pikachu and Elbows wrapped their arms around their shared boyfriend and narrowed gold and chocolate eyes respectively at the purple-haired teen.

"Don't accuse my boyfriend if you don't have any proof he did anything." Elbows said, and Izuku smiled from where he was sandwiched in between his boyfriends.

"Hey Bakubro, shouldn't your tea taste funny if the salt and sugar are switched?" Eijirou pointed out, and now several people were looking at the blond.

"Bakugou-kun, did you switch the salt and sugar?" High Class asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't." Bakugou lowered his tea, smirking at those downstairs with him.

“No wonder my oatmeal tasted weird.” Glasses muttered, and Bakugou snorted.

“Your oatmeal tasted weird, and you still ate it?” Horns asked with a shit-eating grin, and Half n Half tried not to laugh.

“I will destroy your bloodline.” Hypno said, pointing his finger at Bakugou threateningly.

“Okay, bottom.” Bakugou rolled his eyes, and Eyebags’ face made the blond laugh.

“That- why did you use ‘bottom’ as an insult?” Sparkplug asked.

“Not an insult, a description. I’ve seen him stare at Copycat enough times to know he’s not a top.” Bakugou took another drink of his tea, grinning at how almost half the class was now staring at Eyebags in shock.

“It’s not my fault I’m attracted to loud blonds. Just look at who my father is, it’s my mother’s fault she passed on the Loud Blond Attraction genetics.” Sleepy Raccoon defended, and Izuku narrowed his eyes at him.

“Denki is mine.” The blue-eyed boy said, pulling Sparky closer like Eyebags might try to steal him.

“Wrong loud blond, dumbass.” Hypno snorted.

“You’re not my type, denied.” Bakugou raised an eyebrow, and several people were looking at him in surprise now.

“You’re gay?” Elbows asked.

“... The fact that I wear trademark gay man shoes didn’t clue you in?” Bakugou took another drink of his tea.

Chapter 20: Crackhead Energy Check

Chapter Text

Shirakumo was eating some kinpira topped with extra chili powder when Kirishima sat down across from him with Tetsutetsu next to him, the two smiling like they’d just won the lottery.

“... Should I be concerned?” Shirakumo asked, with his chopsticks halfway to his mouth, blue eyes darting between them.

“The three of us are technically related.” Tetsutetsu said, grey eyes lighting up.

“Oh?” Shirakumo set his chopsticks back in his bowl of food, moving to give Kirishima and Tetsutetsu his full attention.

This ought to be good.

“So I have two moms, and Tetsutetsu-kun has two dads, and you have two dads.” Kirishima said.

“What does this have to do with us technically being related?” Shirakumo raised an eyebrow.

“Your dads, my dads, and Kirishima-kun’s moms all went to the same person for us.” Tetsutetsu grinned.

“So the three of us are technically brothers?” Shirakumo smiled, pupils slitting a little at the revelation.

“Oh my god, that’s so cool!” Tetsutetsu said, and Shirakumo realised this was the first time the steel-Quirked boy was seeing that specific Quirk side effect.

An hour later, Shirakumo was cuddling with his boyfriends in the common room, his head on Hanta’s shoulder and Denki curled in front of him and in his arms. Shirakumo and Hanta were awake, but Denki wasn’t so they weren’t about to move anytime soon.

“Hanta?” Shirakumo mumbled, running his fingers gently through Denki’s pretty blond hair while the electric boy slept against him.

¿Si mi querido? ” Hanta responded softly, his breath hitting Shirakumo’s ear; the green-haired boy’s pupils slitted a little at the pet name.

“Did you know that me, Kiri-kun, and Tetsutetsu-kun are all technically brothers? Kiri-kun has two moms, then me and Tetsutetsu-kun both have two dads. All our parents went to the same person to get us.” Shirakumo smiled, and Denki moved closer to the blue-eyed boy in his sleep, breath whistling softly through an almost-closed mouth.

“So does that mean Kiri-kun will beat me and Denki up if we make you cry, amado?” Hanta asked, and Shirakumo hummed softly.

Denki made a soft contented noise at the rumble filling Shirakumo’s chest, and relaxed further into him.

Someone ran behind the couch very loudly, yelling something about chocolate and startling Denki awake. The blond looked around with wide golden-sunshine eyes, letting off a few sparks in his slight panic from being woken up so suddenly.

Shirakumo turned to see who had dared to wake up his sunshine, and saw Shinsou wiping at his mouth in disgust. The blue-eyed boy’s pupils un-slitted fully in his displeasure, and he opened a Warp directly beneath one of Shinsou’s feet, just enough to make the purple-haired teen faceplant onto the floor.

“Denki? Luciérnaga, are you alright?” Hanta asked softly as Shirakumo stayed glaring at the person who had caused his Denki to wake up when he was sleeping so prettily.

“What was that noise?” Denki asked, blinking rapidly to help himself wake up better.

“Someone who’s faced karma for waking you up, storm.” Shirakumo said, turning and pressing a kiss to Denki’s cheek.

The blond blushed, and Hanta looked over to see what Shirakumo had meant. He gave a soft laugh when he saw Shinsou facedown on the ground, where the teen had slumped after landing.

“Did you open a Warp to make him trip, mi corazón?” Hanta asked, and Shirakumo’s pupils slitted a little in pride as he nodded.

“He woke Denki up, it’s only fair.” Shirakumo stated, and Denki pressed a kiss to Shirakumo’s jaw in thanks.

“Get a room.” Ashido threw a blanket at the three, and Hanta smirked before twisting and picking up both his boyfriends.

“We have three to choose from.” He admitted, looking at both Shirakumo and Denki with bright honey-brown eyes.

Shirakumo grinned back before opening a cloud-edged Warp beneath their feet, making the exiting fire-edged Warp they fell out of drop the three onto Denki’s bed, closing the Warp once they had all landed safely on the comfortable object.

“Really, baby?” Denki giggled.

“Woulda taken too long to walk all the way, I want kisses now.” Shirakumo stated, smiling at both his boyfriends.

“Who am I to deny my dragónito?” Hanta grinned, pinning Shirakumo to Denki’s bed by his wrists easily and beginning to press his mouth to Shirakumo’s neck.

Denki moved, careful of the other two’s placements, and began kissing Shirakumo deeply as Hanta abused his neck almost to the point of leaving marks. Shirakumo kissed his blond back happily, easily taking the lead even while he was on the bottom and being distracted by Hanta’s pretty mouth.

There was then a knock on Denki’s door, startling Hanta into biting down on Shirakumo’s neck, which in turn led to Shirakumo moaning into Denki’s mouth as the blond took the lead. The three ignored the knocking, which was their mistake as Denki’s door opened and someone then proceeded to let out a small scream. The three immediately broke apart, Shirakumo and Denki’s lips bruised a little and Hanta seeing the little bite mark he’d left on his smaller boyfriend.

“Oh my god! My eyes!” Ojiro immediately covered his face with the end of his tail, shutting the door and walking away quickly.

Denki took a moment to realise what had happened, then burst out laughing. Shirakumo and Hanta quickly joined him, the three boys in love messing up Denki’s blankets as they shook. Denki recovered the quickest since he’d been the first to start laughing, and got off the bed to actually lock the door so they wouldn't be walked in on again.

“You wanna watch a movie, sunshine?” Shirakumo asked as Denki got on the bed again, easily fitting himself on Hanta’s lap like he was born to sit there.

“Sure, what movie did you have in mind?” Denki asked as Hanta pressed a kiss right behind the blond’s ear, said blond trying not to get distracted.

“I was thinking we let Hanta choose this time, since you went last time and I went the time before that.” Shirakumo smiled, curling himself up on his boyfriends’ right side and leaning against the two of them a little.

“Oh? I get to choose?” Hanta whispered in Denki’s ear, and the blond tried to ignore the way his heart jumped a little at how inappropriate Hanta managed to make the question sound.

“Of course you do, my dear.” Shirakumo whispered in Hanta’s ear in payback, and the dark-haired boy shivered slightly at the almost-contact of his blue-eyed boyfriend’s mouth and his earlobe.

Chapter 21: A Pomeranian's Worries

Chapter Text

Bakugou knew he came off as aggressive and abrasive, even though it was entirely unintentional. All those years of being mean to Deku so he’d get Ku-chan back had made it to where his initial reaction to anything that even mildly frustrated him was to blow up at it, explosions and heat coming out of his hands. He knew he came off as rude and irrational and impulsive. Bakugou knew that, okay?

It didn’t mean he didn’t have nightmares of what would’ve been if Deku had actually done what he’d ‘suggested’ as a last-ditch attempt to get his best friend back. It didn’t erase the fact he couldn't forget the look of Ku-chan covered in bruises and somehow still managing to smile, even when Bakugou knew it must’ve hurt something horrible. It didn’t make him forget what it’d been like to play with Ku-chan in the woods and by that stupid stream with its slippery log bridge.

But that was then, and Bakugou had Izuku now. He had his Ku-chan again.

So why was he waking up in the middle of the night, gasping for air, his mind filled with green-white hair stained with dark blood and azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes fogged over and closing and tan hands limp even as Bakugou begged Ku-chan wake up c’mon stop messing with me this isn’t funny Ku-chan please open your eyes I need you please Ku-chan come back I can’t lose you KU-CHAN PLEASE I CAN’T LOSE MY BEST FRIEND-

Bakugou was sitting up in bed, red eyes wide and his chest heaving, sweat pooling on his skin from that horrid nightmare. He knew Izuku wasn’t dead, that his best friend wasn’t dead and gone and lost forever. But he still needed to check, still needed to make sure that Izuku was still here and that he hadn’t lost his best friend forever.

Bakugou slipped his feet into a pair of black and red slippers, the floor too cold for his bare feet, and pulled a blanket around himself before leaving his room to check on his friend. He made his way down the two flights of stairs, the elevator too slow for him, and made his way to Izuku’s room. He didn’t know what time it was, but Bakugou needed to see Izuku and make sure he was still here, was still alive.

He knocked lightly on Izuku’s door, mindful that the sun hadn’t risen yet so it was extremely early. That was okay, Izuku had good hearing and was a light sleeper.

No response.

Bakugou knocked again, just a hint louder. Maybe he’d knocked too sofly for even Izuku to hear.

No response.

“Izuku?” Bakugou whispered, his voice a little choked up from crying earlier during his nightmare, needing the reassurance that he was here, that Izuku was alive still.

No response.

Maybe Izuku was sleeping in Pikachu or Elbows’ room? That had to be why he wasn’t responding. Please let that be why he wasn’t responding.

Bakugou made his way to the stairs, deciding to check Pikachu’s room since it was just the next floor up instead of the top floor. The blond stopped in front of Pikachu’s door, and tugged the blanket a bit tighter around him as a slight draft from the AC blew past and made his skin prickle from cold. Bakugou knocked lightly, and waited a moment, his anxiety making itself known.

He just needed to see Izuku, please just let him see his best friend. Bakugou had to make sure Izuku was okay, please let him be okay, he couldn't lose the blue-eyed boy now, not when he’d just barely gotten him back.

“Ku-chan? Are you in there?” Bakugou whispered, his voice still choked up and his eyes still hurting.

There was no response, not even the rustle of sheets to indicate someone was even inside Pikachu’s room.

They had to be in Elbows’ room, then, Bakugou tried to reason.

But his racing heart and heightening anxiety couldn't be reasoned with. He had to see Izuku, had to make sure he was okay. Nothing else he could think of would help more than seeing with his own eyes that Izuku was alright and alive and in one piece.

Bakugou made his way to the stairs, his blanket held tight around him with shaking hands, and walked up to the fourth floor landing and then up to the fifth. If Izuku wasn’t in Elbows’ room, then Bakugou had no ideas on where he could be.

The blond stopped in front of Elbows’ room, shivering a little from how cold the hallways seemed this late at night/early in the morning, and raised a hand to knock on the door lightly. It took two gentle knocks before he heard movement inside, and the blond relaxed a little. Izuku was in there, Izuku was here, Izuku was still alive.

The door opened, and a messy-haired sleepy-eyed very much alive Izuku opened the door, rubbing at his eye with one hand.

“Mm… Ki-chan, wha’s goin’ on?” The blue-eyed boy mumbled, and Bakugou could see Pikachu and Elbows still asleep in the bed behind the Izuku that was very much not covered in blood.

“Had a nightmare, needed to see you. Make sure you were still here.” Bakugou admitted quietly, and his best friend’s gaze softened before the boy with green-white hair pulled Bakugou into a tight hug.

Bakugou melted into the touch, hugging back tightly. Physical affection like hugging and cuddling after his nightmares had always helped soothe him so easily. His father had been the one who had provided that positive touch, his mother usually too busy with modelling or paperwork to realise he’d even had a nightmare in the first place.

“I’m right here, Ki-chan. I’m still alive. It was just a nightmare, candy blondie.” Izuku assured him softly, using a nickname that Bakugou had all but forgotten.

“Felt so real. I can’t lose you, can’t be Ki-chan if I don't have my Ku-chan.” Bakugou held onto him, and felt Izuku rub circles on his back through the blanket he was still wearing because he’d needed something to try grounding himself.

“Let’s get you to Kiri-kun, huh? I bet if you share a bed with someone when you go back to bed, you won’t get the nightmares again. Wanna try that, Ki-chan?” Izuku asked in that gentle tone that helped Bakugou make sure that this was actually real, Izuku wasn’t dead, Izuku was in front of him and holding him close and making it better so much easier than Bakugou could if he was alone.

“Okay.” Bakugou mumbled, and let Izuku lead him away from Elbows’ room and into the elevator, never letting go of him.

Bakugou could always count on Izuku to understand what he needed even if he didn’t or couldn't say anything to explain it. He listened as Izuku told him random things quietly, gently, never changing his tone or volume as the elevator went down one floor. It was white noise, Bakugou wasn’t taking in anything but the sound of Izuku’s voice as his best friend made sure he knew this was real.

“Ki-chan, we’re here now. I’m gonna let Kiri-kun know what’s going on, alright? I’m gonna need you to let go of me, can you do that?” Izuku asked, and Bakugou buried his face in Izuku’s shoulder instead, needing the grounding sensation that positive physical touch gave.

“Ki-chan…” Izuku sounded fondly exasperated, and Bakugou relaxed at the tone even as Izuku pushed him away a little bit.

The blue-eyed of the two knocked on Eijirou’s door, and it was opened a moment later by a bleary-eyed redhead who looked extremely confused on seeing them.

“Ki-chan had a nightmare, is it okay if he stays with you? Usually he just needs to be cuddled with for a bit and he’ll be able to go back to sleep. I’d let him cuddle with me, but I’ve got Hanta and Denki waiting for me, and Ki-chan trusts you.” Izuku explained, and bleary red eyes shifted to Bakugou as Eijirou woke up a bit more.

Oh.

Eijirou was shirtless.

“Sure thing, Shira-kun. C’mon, Bakugou-kun.” Eijirou smiled, and Izuku gently shoved Bakugou into Eijirou’s arms before turning to walk back to Elbows’ room so he could cuddle with his boyfriends.

Bakugou pressed the side of his face to Eijirou’s chest, realising that there was a bit of a height difference between them. Eijirou gently pulled Bakugou into his room, and then shut the door behind the two of them.

“You gonna be okay?” Eijirou asked as he gently lead Bakugou to the bed.

“Had to make sure Ku-chan was still here.” Bakugou mumbled, following the redhead’s direction with minimal defiance.

“Had to make sure-? Oh, Bakugou-kun, it was one of those nightmares, wasn’t it?” Eijirou frowned sadly, and pressed a kiss to Bakugou’s forehead as he pulled the blond closer, laying the two of them down in his bed.

“Can’t lose ‘im, don’t know how to be Ki-chan without my Ku-chan.” Bakugou admitted in a whisper, curling into Eijirou’s arms when they were wrapped around him.

Bakugou could hear Eijirou’s heartbeat as he settled in his arms, and it was beating funny. Going thumpthumpthump instead of thump-thump-thump like it should. It was still an even rhythm though, and that coupled with the physical reassurance of Eijirou’s arms around him led to Bakugou falling asleep within minutes.

Chapter 22: Fully Welcomed Distractions

Chapter Text

When Shirakumo woke up between his boyfriends, it was to his- midoriya izuku's phone ringing. Shirakumo Izuku had his own phone that his dads had gotten him, and he'd transferred over the information he needed. The only thing that remained on midoriya izuku's phone was that woman's phone number. Shirakumo didn't want anything to do with the person who taken him from his dads and stolen his memories and Quirk from him, and had treated him like he was helpless and couldn't even breathe without her help.

Unfortunately, due to what mom Inko did to him, he had to keep her number in case she tried calling. Luckily, his voice didn't sound any different from midoriya izuku, and he just had to make himself use that fake boy's speech pattern so Inko wouldn't get suspicious. Everyone had detested the fact he'd have to call that woman "mom" if they wanted to be able to arrest her for what she did, though none more so than Shirakumo and his dads.

Shirakumo grabbed midoriya izuku's phone, and reluctantly clicked the green little Accept Call option.

"Mornin', mom." Shirakumo yawned, feeling something twist in disgust at calling that woman his parent in any capacity.

"Izu baby, you haven’t called me in a while. Is something wrong, sweetie?" Inko asked, and Shirakumo felt the urge to be sick.

He wasn't her "izu baby" , he was Shirakumo Izuku, and he despised Inko for what she did to his family. He was Shirakumo Izuku, Ki-chan's Ku-chan, Hanta's cariño, Denki's dearheart, Dad's little spark, Papa's baby cloud, and he was not her "precious little baby izu" no matter how much she’d pretended to care about him over the years.

"No there isn't, mom. I've just been focused on school a lot. Kac-chan's even more awesome now than he was when we were in middle school!" Shirakumo forced himself to use midoriya izuku's nickname for Ki-chan, feeling the urge to be sick get stronger.

He hated this, he wanted to drop the facade and scream at her for hurting him, for stealing his memories, for locking his Quirk away from him with those "vitamins" that had turned out to be Quirk Suppressants, for taking him away from his dads, for making him forget his best friend, for ruining his life from the very moment she'd shown up in it.

When that de-aging Quirk had worn off, they'd had to get him through an entire detox because midoriya izuku had actually gotten addicted to the Suppressants Inko had been disguising as "vitamins" to get him to take them. When he'd been de-aged, he'd been brought to an age where those Suppressants hadn't been introduced to his system yet. When the Quirk had worn off, he'd had his memories but the Suppressants had been running full-force through his system. Even just thinking of using his Quirk had made his body ache with unfamiliar pains.

"That's good to hear. I was worried when I didn't get our agreed-on monthly call." Inko sighed, and Denki stirred where he was laying on Shirakumo's left and curled into the blue-eyed boy's side.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you worry, mom." Shirakumo said, and she spoke for a bit longer before thankfully hanging up.

"I want to hurt her for what she did to you, my beloved." Denki whispered, sleepy golden eyes looking Shirakumo over as the pretty blond that the blue-eyed boy called his boyfriend moved closer and wrapped his arms around Shirakumo's waist, pressing a light kiss to Shirakumo's collarbone.

"I feel disgusting for calling Inko any sort of parental title. She stole everything from me, firefly." Shirakumo whispered, and Hanta on his other side began to stir a little.

"Do you want a distraction from her, dearheart?" Denki asked, creeping a hand slowly down Shirakumo's body to show what he meant.

"As much as I want to say 'yes' , baby, we'll need to get out of bed soon to get breakfast. Besides, it wouldn't be fair if we didn't include Hanta in that." Shirakumo replied quietly, and felt a pair of lips kiss the back of his neck.

"It wouldn't be fair to not include me in what, cariño?" Hanta whispered in his ear, and Shirakumo's pupils slitted as his breath hitched a little at how close Hanta was.

"He liked that, chaton." Denki told Hanta, bright golden eyes on Shirakumo.

"Oh? You like when I whisper in your ear, dragónito?" Hanta asked, his mouth just barely touching Shirakumo's ear as his hands began to wander across Shirakumo's naked torso, decidedly awake now.

Denki began pressing light kisses up and down Shirakumo's neck, making the blue-eyed boy's pupils slit further at the positive attention. He melted into the touches, becoming putty in Hanta and Denki's hands as they took advantage of his morning-sensitive body to show him what he meant to them.

"Eres hermoso, mi querido." Hanta whispered in Shirakumo's ear before a hand wandered to the waistband of his sleep pants.

Shirakumo's pupils were practically pencil-thin now with how much he was enjoying their affection, and he leaned into the inappropriate touches with soft moans of enjoyment.

Right as Hanta was about to slip his hand in Shirakumo's sleep pants, there was a knock at the door. Denki didn't stop kissing Shirakumo's neck or letting his hands wander across Shirakumo's tanned skin to find the places sensitive to touch, but Hanta's hand had paused halfway under Shirakumo's waistband, and the blue-eyed boy let out a quiet whimper at the unintentional teasing, wanting Hanta to go further, to do what he'd been going to.

Hanta left the bed, leaving Shirakumo with only Denki's ministrations as he went to see who was at the door.

"Who is it?" Hanta asked, though Shirakumo didn't pay it much attention with the affection he was getting from Denki distracting him.

Shirakumo and Denki were kissing now, hands wandering over bared skin and pulling the other closer, closer, always trying to be closer. The three dating each other had gone to bed shirtless, and the hints of sunlight peeking through Shirakumo's curtains highlighted tan and honey skin as the two still in the bed touched each other anywhere they could reach.

"It's Tokoyami. I was sent to retrieve you three for breakfast. Please make yourselves presentable and come downstairs when you can, Sero-kun." The person on the other side said, and Hanta assured Tokoyami they would be down soon.

"Luciérnaga, cariño,, we need to get out of bed." Hanta said as he moved to the two who hadn’t left the warm blankets yet.

"Can't we stay here a bit longer, love? Finish what we started?" Shirakumo asked, pupils needle-thin as he looked up at Hanta, face flushed and his lips bruised.

Denki was much the same way, a flushed face and bruised lips, though Denki also had small bruises on his neck that were more noticeable than the ones on Shirakumo's own neck.

"As much as I would love to, mis corazones, we can’t stay in bed all day." Hanta said, gently pulling the blanket away from the two who were still tangled together as if they were trying to become one being.

They eventually left the room after taking care of a few... problems, that had come up. Shirakumo was wearing one of Denki's shirts, Denki was wearing one of Hanta's sweater crop tops, and Hanta was wearing a shirt that Shirakumo had bought him. The three were still wearing their sleep pants, and nothing had been done to hide the evidence of how their morning had gone before Tokoyami had interrupted the triad so rudely.

"Ku-chan, what the actual fuck." Ki-chan said eloquently when the green-haired boy walked in with his boyfriends on either side of him, the blond sitting next to Kirishima with the redhead's arm around his shoulders.

"What, Ki-chan?" Shirakumo asked, confused by what his best friend could be referring to.

"You and your boyfriends fucked." Ki-chan accused, narrowing red eyes at him.

"We were going to, but then someone interrupted us." Denki said, narrowing pretty gold eyes at Tokoyami unhappily.

"Well now I’m glad I was downstairs earlier than usual." Shouji said from where he stood with a bowl of something, using one of his hands as a mouth instead to avoid pulling his mask down.

"You better have had protection." Dad said from where he sat on one of the couches with a cup of coffee in his hands, and the three suddenly found the walls, ceiling, and floor very interesting.

The detective had stayed behind because he hadn't wanted to leave his son with that woman so near, but Shirakumo's papa had had to leave to get back to his mission in Nigata, though he'd promised to video call at least once a week while he was there.

"Well now we know who doesn't have protection just in case." Ashido snickered.

Chapter Text

Bakugou had woken up the morning after his nightmare to find himself in Eijirou’s room, the redhead fast asleep with his arms around the blond like he was trying to protect him from the world. They were curled together like lovers, Bakugou realised in his half-asleep state, and he relaxed into the comforting touch and warmth that Eijirou was giving him. He let himself go near-boneless in the grounding sensation of positive physical touch, of Eijirou’s breath whistling through his teeth and just barely hitting the back of Bakugou’s neck in almost not-there gusts of air.

Eijirou moved a little, pulling Bakugou closer and curling further around him. Bakugou let a small smile show on his face, Eijirou’s unconscious cuddling with him making something warm similar to fondness stir in his chest at the affection from his crush.

"Eijirou?" Bakugou mumbled, too tired to pretend he hadn't spent literal days trying to keep the redhead's name in his head so he'd actually know what it was.

Eijirou gave a soft noise and pressed closer against Bakugou, his nose hitting just below where Bakugou's hair stopped growing and his breath hitting the back of Bakugou's neck. He was close enough that if he moved any closer, his mouth would touch Bakugou's skin.

"Eijirou." Bakugou said just a bit louder, and Kirishima gave a soft hum in response, moving to lick his lips as he started to wake up.

The very end of his tongue touched the back of Bakugou's neck, and the blond's breath hitched slightly at the warm wetness against his skin, the sensation foreign enough to be vaguely uncomfortable. Eijirou gave a quiet start at the contact, and his breathing pattern changed just enough for Bakugou to hear it.

“Bakubro? What’re you doin’ in my room? An’ in my bed?” Eijirou mumbled, shifting his arms around Bakugou and pulling the blond a little bit closer.

Bakugou relaxed in Eijirou’s grip, becoming half-boneless and curling into the sleepy affection.

“Had a nigh’mare, ‘n Ku-ch’n brough’ me here las’ nigh’.” Bakugou mumbled, and Eijirou moved a little.

A hand found its way into Bakugou’s hair, and the usually explosive boy nearly melted as Eijirou began running calloused fingers through the blond locks with the surety only a half-conscious person could have. Eijirou pulled Bakugou closer, and the blond teen went willing, turning a little so he was facing Eijirou instead of having his back to the ridiculously pretty redhead. Bakugou may have still been waking up, but he knew wholeheartedly that when he did finish waking up, he wanted Eijirou’s stupid face to be what he saw.

“You’re so adorable like this, Bakubabe.” Eijirou mumbled against Bakugou’s hair, and the blond’s face turned red.

Had- what- did Eijirou seriously just call him bakubabe? What was next, forehead kisses from him?

As if reading Bakugou’s mind, Eijirou did indeed plant a half-asleep kiss on Bakugou’s forehead. The blond could feel the redhead smiling against his skin, and didn’t know how to take this turn of events. Did he lean into the affection or act like he hadn’t even noticed it?

After the two woke up a bit more (and Eijirou had a tiny bit of a freakout over realising he’d called him bakubabe and had kissed his forehead), they laid in the bed for a couple more minutes. Bakugou hadn’t moved from his position in Eijirou’s arms, and had made a quiet discontented noise when Eijirou had moved to remove his hand from Bakugou’s hair or his arm from around the blond.

“So… are you always this affectionate when you first wake up, Bakubro?” Eijirou asked quietly, threading his fingers gently through Bakugou’s soft hair.

“Mm.” Bakugou hummed a little, leaning further into the positive touch he was getting.

He wasn’t affectionate at all, Eijirou and Izuku were just special. Eijirou was the only person Bakugou wanted to kiss, though. So that meant that Eijirou was more special.

“That’s not an answer.” Eijirou sounded amused, Bakugou could hear the smile in his voice.

“Y’ jus’ special.” Bakugou finally answered, content to stay in Eijirou’s arms for the rest of the day if he could get away with it.

“I’m special?” Eijirou chuckled, and Bakugou felt the little rumble from where he lay with his head against Eijirou’s chest.

“Mm hm, I like you.” Bakugou mumbled, resting his right hand in a loose fist over Eijirou’s chest, feeling the steady thump-thump-thump of the redhead’s heart beat under skin.

“You like me? As a friend, or as something more… Bakubabe?” Eijirou asked, and Bakugou’s cheeks turned red again at the almost-endearment from his crush.

He made a quiet noise, and turned his face so Eijirou wouldn’t see that he had turned red, hiding his face in Eijirou’s very much not-clothed chest. There was an amused hum from Eijirou, and the hand in his hair played with the strands absentmindedly.

“Are you blushing right now, Bakubabe?” Eijirou asked, a grin in his voice as he used the almost-endearment again.

Bakugou tried to hide his face further in Eijirou’s chest, a noise leaving him that betrayed how warm that almost-endearment coming from Eijirou made him feel.

Eijirou kissed the top of his head, and Bakugou practically melted in his arms. There was a quiet noise from the redhead, and Bakugou let him pull him a bit closer.

“I think I know the answer to my question now, Bakubabe. I like you as more than a friend, too.” Eijirou murmured, and Bakugou lifted his face from Eijirou’s chest a little.

“Like me back?” He asked, tempted to pinch himself just to make sure this wasn’t a dream.

Eijirou liking him back was honestly one of Bakugou’s biggest wants right now. He’d actually fantasised about confessing his feelings and having Eijirou tell him he felt the same, as embarrassing as that was to admit.

“Yeah, I like you back. Though, this isn’t exactly how I thought I’d end up telling you.” Eijirou moved the hand in his hair to Bakugou’s cheek, and Bakugou made a contented noise in his throat at the touch.

Eijirou pressed a kiss to Bakugou’s forehead, and Bakugou knew that Eijirou could feel his face heating up as he blushed again.

“I was right. You are pretty when you blush.” Eijirou smiled at him, and there was a very quiet crackle as Bakugou’s cheeks gave off a miniature version of his Quirk detonating in his hands.

Eijirou’s eyes lit up at the sight and his smile grew, which led to Bakugou blushing darker and his cheeks detonating again.

“That, is honestly one of the most adorable things I’ve ever seen.” Eijirou grinned at Bakugou, and the blond hid his face in Eijirou’s chest to prevent Eijirou from seeing his reddened cheeks anymore.

Why did Eijirou think the most embarrassing side effect of Bakugou’s Quirk was even remotely cute, let alone adorable?

Chapter 24: Inko's Reasonings

Chapter Text

It was a few days after Ki-chan and Kirishima figured out the feelings between them were mutual. Shirakumo was reading a book in Hanta’s room (or at least pretending to, since he was still trying to decide whether or not to tell his boyfriends about the Quirk that All Might had given him), Hanta was practicing his aerial silks, and Denki was drawing something while sitting in one of Hanta’s three bean bag chairs.

‘What do you think, First? Second? Third? Hikage-san? Daigoro-san? En-san? Nana-san? Should I tell them about you?’ Shirakumo directed towards the vestiges of One For All’s users.

Tell them, ninth. We can feel how much these two mean to you, and we can feel how trustworthy they are. Neither of your boyfriends, Sero Hanta and Kaminari Denki, will tell another soul if they know the vestiges replied as one, and Shirakumo smiled to himself.

“Izu, aren’t you at the part where Eloise’s girlfriend dies? Why are you smiling about that?” Denki asked, and Hanta sent the blue-eyed boy a slightly disapproving look from where he was doing the splits upside down in the air.

Cariño, can you explain yourself?” Hanta asked as he got down from the silks, moving in a way that made Shirakumo’s pupils slit and reminded the boy of dancing with how fluid and graceful the movements were.

“I have something to tell the two of you, but you have to promise to keep it secret.” Shirakumo set down the book he couldn’t read (as it was in a language he didn't know), and both his boyfriends moved to sit on either side of him so they could give him their full attentions.

The two listened intently as Shirakumo explained about One For All, the training, how both he and All Might theorised that the Suppressants he’d been on were why he’d kept breaking his bones, how the transferable Quirk was haunted by its past users, that he’d told Ki-chan about it not even a week after promising All Might he’d keep One For All a secret and not tell anyone about it, about how Inko still didn’t know a single thing about his “inherited” Quirk’s origins.

After he was done explaining everything and letting his two partners in on his biggest secret, there was a moment of silence while Hanta and Denki processed the new information about their shared boyfriend.

“So you’re haunted by a bunch of voyeurs because All Might decided to give you his Quirk after seeing you be an idiot?” Denki broke the silence, and Shirakumo snorted as the vestiges began guffawing at how the blond had decided to describe them.

Hanta laughed a bit too, and the mood was lifted.

Three hours later, after Shirakumo had told two of the most important people in his life about One For All, a woman with castleton green eyes and essex green hair made her way into Yuuei with the goal to see her “son” and make sure everything was going against her father's plans. She may have wanted her father to be proud of her once, when she was younger, but he hadn’t so much as smiled at her once in all her 38 years of being alive so far. Inko had given up on being 'enough' in All For One's eyes.

Shigaraki Junko, for her name had never been Midoriya Inko in the first place, was a woman who had gone through too much to gain her father’s approval that it hurt to even think of the lives that were lost because of it. She’d brought back potential lovers to meet her father in hopes he’d become proud of her even if only in passing, yet none had been up to par in All For One’s eyes, and so all had entered that house but none had left alive. The only time it had caused Inko any anguish after perhaps the nineteenth or twentieth person, had been when her father had taken Midoriya Koharu’s life, as she had waited until nearly two years into knowing Koharu and falling for her before taking the other girl to meet her father. All For One had seemed to take the most pleasure in making Koharu suffer as he killed her out of all of his daughter’s lovers, and unlike all the other times her father had “taken care of” the people Inko had brought to meet him, Inko hadn’t been able to make herself throught the whole ordeal.

Shirakumo Izuku had looked far too much like Koharu before Inko had used that appearance-changing Quirk her father had given her, as the sight of a child that had hair just a bit lighter than Koharu’s had been and eyes as blue as the ones Koharu’s little sister owned had made the green-eyed woman ache inside. A simple use of the memory alteration Quirk Inko had managed to trick her father into giving her, and Shirakumo Izuku and Shigaraki Junko became Midoriya Izuku and Midoriya Inko, settling into a life that she could almost trick herself into believing had a chance to be real. Inko could almost trick herself into believing she’d run away from her father and gotten married to Koharu like she’d sometimes fantasised about while spending time with the other girl, rather than the truth of blackmailing Akatani Hisashi and Shirakumo Oboro into leaving their only son with her so she could keep the child from dying so young.

But that was in the past, and Inko had felt when the use of the memory alteration Quirk reached its end. Her little Izuku remembered who he really was now, he remembered his actual parents and his actual Quirk and what Inko had done to him. She’d be lucky if he didn’t hate her now, even with the memories of how she’d done what she could to raise him and offer what little kindness was left in her. Inko had even made his Hero costume by hand, following the pattern that Koharu had drawn of what she had wanted her own Hero costume to look like, with minor adjustments to account for Izuku being a boy where Koharu had been a girl. Inko had used the appearance-changing Quirk on herself to make her hair green instead of her natural colour to feel like she had even a small part of Koharu with her, refusing to change her eyes as Koharu had said it was a pretty colour and she had liked it. Inko had refused to change many things about herself because Koharu had liked them.

Shaking herself free of her memories thoughts, Inko continued on her way to Height’s Alliance to see if Koh- Izuku was there. They had to talk, before people changed the story and fed him lies, like she was only using him or had never cared or that she was a villain like her father.

Everything Inko had done, she’d done with Midoriya Koharu in mind, in hopes that if she just did enough then she could resurrect the woman her father had murdered simply for being someone Inko had an interest in. After Koharu had died, Inko had used the memory alteration Quirk to erase herself from Koharu’s family’s memories and had changed people’s memories so they’d recall Koharu as someone who had died a Hero, saving others. It was the least she could’ve done, with how her father had torn the woman from the world far too soon for Inko’s liking.

Chapter 25: What Do You MEAN Inko's A Good Guy?!

Summary:

We finally get to know what Inko's side of the story actually is

Chapter Text

Bakugou felt her presence before he saw her. A poison-filled atmosphere that not even the most immune could survive, full of a cold sense of wrongness like the sun was dying. Even before he got Izuku back she’d exuded that presence like the air she breathed if anyone so much as looked at Izuku while she was there.

“Inko. Get the fuck out of here before I blow your damn ass up for what you did.” Bakugou growled at the green-eyed woman, and she sighed a little while looking far older than the blond remembered her.

“It’s been a while, Katsuki-kun. You haven’t changed much, I see. Can you tell me where Izuku is? I need to talk to him.” Inko gave a tired-looking smile, but Bakugou saw through it immediately.

He wasn’t going to let this monster take his Ku-chan away from him again, or god forbid hurt his best friend. Inko had less of a chance than a snowball in hell, and Bakugou would call on all of Izuku’s real family to help make her pay if he felt she even deserved that much opposition.

“Shigaraki Inko. Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t incinerate you where you stand for the things you did to my family.” Uncle Hisashi said, standing behind Bakugou in support.

The blond could feel the heat emanating from his godfather, and felt a little more reassured that Inko wouldn’t be able to get to Izuku, wherever the blue-eyed boy was. He wasn’t going to stand for letting Inko anywhere near Izuku, even if Bakugou himself didn’t know where the pale green-haired teen was at the moment.

“Because I did what I could to keep your husband out of my father’s hands by doing that. I may seem heartless and cruel to you and everyone around me, but I only act that way to keep people from getting close enough that my father will ‘take care of’ them. What do you think he would do if he got ahold of Cloud Warp or any of the other Quirks you and your friends have?” Inko said, confusing Bakugou greatly.

Wait a minute. Uncle Hisashi had called her Shigaraki Inko when he saw her. As in Shigaraki Tomura, the guy who had kidnapped Bakugou to try and turn the blond villain. Izuku had been living with a villain’s daughter for literal years.

“Sashi, I found this great reci- what the fuck is that bitch doing here?” Loud-sensei said, pausing to stare at Inko in what Bakugou hoped he recognised correctly as poorly concealed hatred.

“I came here, because I felt when the memory alteration Quirk used on Izuku met its end. Because I wanted to tell him the truth of the reasoning behind my actions before someone twisted what I did around to make me into something I’m not.” inko said plainly, and Bakugou was caught just a bit off guard.

“And why should I believe the daughter of the villain who tried to kill my godson?” Uncle Hisashi practically snarled at Inko, resting a hand on Bakugou’s shoulder to offer comfort.

“Because I am not my father. And I will never forgive that man for what he’s done to me, and the countless others he’s hurt.” Inko replied, her ugly green eyes full of something Bakugou refused to believe was pain or sorrow.

Inko stole Ku-chan from him, she couldn’t possibly be redeemable.

“Let’s talk about this elsewhere. I’ll be calling Masa-kun so he can be in the room when we start talking, just to make sure you aren’t lying about anything. I don’t trust you, I never have, and I never will.” Uncle Hisashi stared Inko down like he was about to roast her alive, and the two left Bakugou standing there with Loud-sensei to walk in the direction of the main building.

The teachers who taught Bakugou and Shirakumo the most met with Nedzu in one of the meeting rooms, Inko sitting at one end of the table so everyone could see her. Tsukauchi Naomasa was also in attendance, on request of Shirakumo Hisashi who wanted to make sure Inko was being truthful when she spoke to them.

“What is your relation to Shirakumo Izuku?” Tsukauchi asked her, and Inko thought for a moment.

“I cared for him for a number of years, but I have no true relation to him.” True the woman spoke, her hands resting in her lap as she seemed to try and make herself appear smaller.

“What were your intentions in coming to Yuuei today?” Hisashi asked, and Inko gave a quiet sigh.

“I wanted to tell Izuku the truth before someone twisted my actions to make me look like I wished him or those who care about him harm, or like I didn’t care about him.” True Inko spoke with a sort of tired air, like she was exhausted and only responding through sheer willpower.

“What is your relation to All For One, Midoriya-san?” Nedzu asked, holding a cup of tea that was somehow still steaming twenty minutes after being brewed.

“... He used his Quirk to create me, as he had no interest in having sex with a woman but still wanted a child to raise as his own.” True False Inconclusive the result Tsukauchi’s Quirk came to was interesting.

“According to my Quirk, that’s the first time you haven’t ourightly stated the truth. Your statement is neither true nor false. Please repeat the three statements you used, because I want to know what exactly was true and what was false.” Tsukauchi requested, and Inko seemed a bit confused for a moment.

“He used his Quirk to create me.” True she repeated once she understood what he was asking her.

“That’s true. Next statement, please.”

“He had no interest in having sex with women.” True it seemed the statements separate were true, but not together. Interesting.

“And your last statement, if you would.” Tsukauchi prompted lightly.

“He wanted a child to raise as his own.” False it seemed he’d found the outlier.

“That’s the lie right there. All For One never wanted a child to raise as his own.” Tsukauchi gave the woman a sympathetic glance.

For all that Inko had done wrong in her life, no one deserved to be unwanted by their parents. Regardless of if their parents were megalomaniac triple S-class supervillains who had created them using Quirks or if they were born the normal way.

“What did you mean when you said you’d never forgive him for what he did to you?” Hizashi asked, and Inko looked away like she’d thought of something painful.

The green-eyed woman mumbled something, Tsukauchi’s Quirk ringing out a true even though he couldn’t hear what she said.

“Could you say that again, but louder?” Snipe suggested.

“... He killed them all.” True it seemed that there was something Inko had kept to herself over the years.

“He killed all who?” Nemuri asked, seeming the most empathetic towards the woman who had stolen Hisashi’s son.

“The people I cared for. I’m bisexual, and I still don’t know why but I kept bringing back boyfriends and girlfriends to see if he’d finally be even the slightest bit proud of me or happy for me. He killed each of my partners in front of me. I hit my breaking point with Koharu, and I couldn’t take it anymore. So I blackmailed Akatani Hisashi and Shirakumo Oboro into letting me take care of their son, and I hid myself and Izuku from All For One’s sight. He wanted Oboro and Izuku’s Quirks, and was willing to kill both to get them.” True and it seemed that Tsukauchi could hit new levels of horror.

“How old was Izuku when you found out All For One’s plan for him?” Tsukauchi didn’t want to know, but he felt compelled to ask the question regardless.

“Izuku had just manifested his Quirk when I found out what my father wanted to do.” True Tsukauchi felt like throwing up.

“Other than the one instance, Shigaraki Inko hasn’t lied once. She did everything to make it hard for All For One to get ahold of Shirakumo Oboro and Shirakumo Izuku’s Quirks, and he murdered all of her past partners in front of her.” Tsukauchi stated for the rest of the room, and several people turned to look at the woman in surprise.

They’d all been prepared for it to come out that she was a dirty, lying, good-for-nothing villain. And somehow, it turned out that what she’d done to them, had been to keep Oboro and Izuku safe from her father. She was still not a good person for the way she’d gone about things, but at least now it was known she did it for a good reason.

“... If he hadn’t of murdered your past partners, would you have let All For One kill my husband and son to get their Quirks from them?” Hisashi asked, not actually wanting to know the answer.

“I can’t stand by and let children be hurt, let alone murdered. I would have done something to help Izuku, though I don’t know if I would’ve helped your husband as well.” True and it seemed there was still something good in Inko, regardless of whatever kept her father-creator alive.

“She answered your question truthfully, Hiss.” Tsukauchi said, and Hisashi relaxed slightly.

Chapter 27: "Why Do You Have A Hoard?!" "Why Do You Ask Stupid Questions?"

Chapter Text

Shirakumo was downright giddy as he adjusted the way his shiny things were situated, his excitement to show his boyfriends his hoard showing in his slitted pupils. He couldn't wait to show Denki and Hanta his hoard, since Dad had said it was something really special and only people that mean a lot should see someone's hoard. Shirakumo was going to show Ki-chan a little bit after his boyfriends, maybe a week or two later. Ki-chan had been a big part of Shirakumo's life growing up, and while he would always be Shirakumo's best friend and brother in everything but blood, the relationship Shirakumo had with his boyfriends was so completely different that it wouldn't make sense to show the three at the same time.

The blue-eyed Hero-in-training giggled to himself, and then opened a Warp to retrieve his boyfriends and show them his special place where he went if he felt overwhelmed or needed a break from people. His dad had a Hoard, with a capital H to convey the importance. And his aunt Ryuko had a capital ‘H’ Hoard too!

Shirakumo spotted his boyfriends immediately, Denki reading something while Hanta was asleep with his head in the blond’s lap. Denki was running his fingers gently through the sleeping teen’s hair, and Shirakumo smiled fondly at the annoyingly endearing sight in front of him. Gods, he really was extremely lucky to have both of them as his boyfriends.

Denki caught sight of Shirakumo and looked up from his book to smile at the blue-eyed boy, his fingers never pausing as the blond absentmindedly played with Hanta’s hair.

“Hi there, darling.” Denki smiled at him, and Shirakumo’s pupils slitted the tiniest bit at the pet name.

He was a sucker for affection, what can he say? The warp-Quirked boy made his way to where his boyfriends were, and pressed a kiss to Denki’s cheek before leaning down and pressing one to Hanta’s temple. Looking up from where he was on his knees next to Hanta’s sleeping form, Shirakumo smiled at Denki and laced his fingers with Denki’s own that were resting in Hanta’s hair.

“I have a surprise for you and Hanta, sweetheart, but it can wait until after he wakes up.” Shirakumo said softly, and Denki leaned forward to get a proper kiss from his green-haired boyfriend.

Shirakumo gave a soft chuckle as he pulled away from his blond boyfriend, eyes bright and pupils slitted a little at the soft affection he had yet to tire of.

"You're a dork." Shirakumo grinned, and Denki smiled.

"Yeah, but I'm your dork." The gold-eyed blond said in response, and Hanta stirred lightly where he was using Denki's lap as a pillow, curling into the affection from the two awake boys with a soft hum.

“You sure are, love." Shirakumo said fondly, and Hanta shifted on the bed in his sleep.

“How is he so adorable when he’s asleep, yet ridiculously hot when he’s awake? It isn’t fair.” Denki muttered, and Shirakumo let loose a fond chuckle as Hanta moved more in his sleep until he was laying stomach-down with his face pillowed by Denki’s thighs.

The blond in question blushed at the (probably) unintentional positioning.

After Hanta woke up and he and Denki were ready, Shirakumo opened a cloud-edged Warp to show his boyfriends his hoard and have a new place for the three to spend time together without getting interrupted by classmates knocking on doors, or locking the three in closets, or having nightmares and demanding comfort. Not that Shirakumo was naming names or anything, he’d never do something like that, never.

“Why do you have a hoard, mi corazón?” Hanta asked, and Denki picked up an item that Shirakumo had 100% completely definitely not stolen from his blond boyfriend the first chance he found.

“Is this one of my choker charms, sunshine?” Denki raised an eyebrow at Shirakumo, and the blue-eyed boy’s pupils slitted while his cheeks tinted pink.

“And are these some of my jewellery, love?” Hanta questioned, having found a small marble bowl filled with his earrings and necklaces and bracelets and rings that he thought he’d just misplaced.

“I- um- no?” The shortest member of the polycule said really unconvincingly, and Hanta smirked down at the green-haired of the three.

“Are you lying, querido?” Hanta questioned, and Shirakumo’s pupils slitted further while his cheeks turned a darker pink.

“I think the three of us have enough privacy we can have some fun teaching our boyfriend not to lie to us about things like this. What do you think, Hanta?” Denki asked, smirking at the tallest of the polycule and receiving a smirk back.

“I think that’s a wonderful idea, luciérnaga.” Hanta decided.

“W- wait, we can talk about this. We can talk about this, right?” Shirakumo tried to negotiate, and both his boyfriends grinned at him in a way that both flustered the boy greatly and made him mourn his ability to walk the next day.

“Of course we can. We’re talking about how to go about teaching you not to lie, aren’t we?” Denki grinned, small sparks of static electricity making his eyes look near ethereal.

“Well, gatito? Are you willing to learn, or will we have to teach you multiple times?” Hanta asked, and Shirakumo’s slit pupils betrayed how his boyfriends were making him feel.

“I-” Shirakumo couldn’t hide that his boyfriends both taking charge at once was doing things to him, and he couldn’t deny that he wasn’t at all that against his boyfriends teaching him a lesson as they were calling it.

Chapter 28: Oh Shit

Chapter Text

Bakugou very much did not want Inko around, and glared at her every chance he found. She'd stolen Izuku's memories from him and taken away Bakugou's Ku-chan, and those were unforgivable even if Izuku had his memories and was Ku-chan again.

"Katsuki-kun, please stop glaring at me. I did what had to be done, and there is no way for me to go back and change things even if I wanted to." Inko said, and Bakugou contemplated throwing something sharp at the woman.

"Mrs. Midoriya-" Ponytail began.

"I never got married to Koharu, Yaoyorozu-chan. Call me Inko." The villain's daughter gave a small smile, and Bakugou made a face.

"Who the fuck is Koharu?" The blond demanded answers.

"Midoriya Koharu was… she was the last person I loved, and when my father killed her it was the last straw." Inko spoke plainly, but her tone made it sound like she was fighting to get every word out.

"I'm sorry, your father did what?!" Engines sounded appalled, and Bakugou just stared at her.

Inko's girlfriend/lover/whatever-she-was was murdered and it was apparently the last straw for something.

“I think that one hurt the most because I waited two years after I gained feelings for Koharu before I introduced her to my father… I was a coward and ran in fear when he started hurting her, instead of standing my ground and getting in between them.” Inko said, and Bakugou wanted to yell at her but couldn’t find the resolve to.

It wasn’t heroic to yell at someone who was talking about the way the person they loved died, and Bakugou was trying to be a hero more than anything else in life.

In an interrogation room, a noumu made of mist with glowing spots for eyes was in a straightjacket and tied to a chair to prevent them from escaping. The mist looked black or purple until you looked closer and realised it was actually a rather dark blue-green colour, and the eyes seemed plain yellow until you realised they were actually a peculiar shade of red that glinted yellow in the right lighting.

“Kurogiri, we can lighten your sentence if you cooperate with us.” A man in a trenchcoat with warm brown eyes wearing a hat said, standing in a room that was separated from the room the noumu was in by a thick piece of glass and a minor wall.

Kurogiri said nothing, as they had before. It was pointless getting anything out of them, they were far too loyal to All For One and Shigaraki Tomura to give away anything they knew.

“What do you know about All For One’s daughter, Inko?” The detective questioned, changing his tactics slightly.

The doctors that were trusted had told him that Kurogiri was a noumu, which meant that before they had been Kurogiri, they’d had a family and a life that All For One hadn’t tainted.

A flicker in brain activity, a small spike that could’ve meant anything. But the detective instinctively Knew that it meant Kurogiri had known Shigaraki Inko either before or after they became a noumu.

“Master has a daughter?” Kurogiri asked, an inflection of a higher pitch than before in their voice and the mist they seemed to be made of flickering slightly before settling again.

So before the noumu had been Kurogiri, they had known Inko personally. This just got a bit more complicated.

“Wait wait, espera un maldito minuto. You’re saying tu hizo lo que hiciste para que tu padre wouldn’t maldito asesinato mi amado corazón and steal his fucking Quirk de su cadáver?!” Tapeface asked incredulously, slipping into Spanish at points from how shocked he was over what Inko was telling them.

To be fair, Bakugou and the rest of the class were also quite shocked when Inko explained her reasonings for what she’d done to Izuku, and Bakugou was considering lessening his suspicions of her being on her father’s side of things. Especially after finding out that All For One had murdered all of Inko’s past lovers in front of her.

Chapter 29: Finally, Shovel Talks! ... Or Not

Chapter Text

Shirakumo was tired and just wanted to curl up on his boyfriends and sleep until he had enough energy to deal with people without feeling the urge to bite them. Instead, he had to deal with the knowledge that Inko had kidnapped and manipulated him as a child to preserve his and his papa's lives. Oh, and that All For One was her fucking father, and that he'd murdered all of her romantic partners.

"Alright, time for the thing I've been waiting for for a while now." Dad said, rubbing his hands together and letting his mismatched eyes gleam with inner fire.

"What?" Ki-chan sounded very confused, just like Shirakumo felt.

"... Punching Inko in the face repeatedly for what she did to Shirakumo-kun?" Ojiro guessed, not even sure if he was correct or not with how chaotic Shirakumo’s dads could be.

"Giving the shovel talk to both my son's boyfriends!" Dad grinned, showing off his sharp teeth that Shirakumo had inherited.

"... I feel threatened and I don't like it." Denki mumbled as he stared at Shirakumo's father with wide golden eyes.

“You and me both, mi luz.” Hanta admitted to the blond softly.

“... I feel like we should be getting their funerals ready.” Kirishima whispered poorly to Ashido.

“No. Shovel talks can wait, I wanna nap on my boyfriends.” Shirakumo said, grabbing a nearby blanket and laying across his boyfriends’ laps with his head being pillowed by one of Denki’s thighs.

“Shirakumo-kun has no fear.” Shinsou said, and Shirakumo flipped the bird in his insomniac of a god-brother’s direction.

“My boyfriends are comfy, okay? Let me nap in peace.” The boy with a warping Quirk griped halfheartedly, and earned Denki’s fingers running through his hair and Hanta running a hand up and down his leg over his sweatpants soothingly.

“... Alright, shovel talk postponed until Izuku is done using you as pillows.” Dad surrendered easily, knowing his son only needed to know the area to make a reliable warp and not wanting to upset his son and risk having the blue-eyed boy warp him somewhere he wouldn’t enjoy being, such as in the teacher’s lounge or anywhere remotely near his ex-wife.

The youngest member of the Shirakumo family relaxed as Denki played with his hair, and let out a soft hum as Hanta began to use his nimble fingers to press and knead his somewhat stiff leg muscles, massaging the tension away through the soft fabric keeping their bare skin from touching. It didn’t take long until the blue-eyed boy was putty in his boyfriends’ laps and fast asleep, rumbling softly in the back of his throat in sweet contentment.

“Is- is he purring?!” Someone, one of the girls, asked excitedly.

“Mutation from my father’s side of the family. Both my sister and I have it as well, embarrassingly enough. It has the same function as a cat’s purr, apparently, but it’s draconic in nature. You won’t believe the amount of times Shouta’s tried to pet me while drunk because he’s somehow convinced that since I can purr I have to be a cat.” Dad admitted, and Shirakumo curled further into his boyfriends’ warmth.

“So what I’m hearing is, Shirabro really likes being touched by his boyfriends?” Kirishima smirked and raised his eyebrows at the triad, the two who were awake turning red but not wanting to risk waking up their sleeping boyfriend by moving.

“Don’t say it like that. Please don’t say it like that." Ki-chan sounded almost horrified.

“Kirishima-kun. I know that your room is directly above Kaminari-kun’s. And I have absolutely no doubt that those three have kept you awake at times. But if you’re going to insinuate inappropriate actions between my son and his boyfriends, you need to be accurate about it. No one in my family, as far as I’m aware at least, is capable of making the purring sound during certain activities. My husband and I would know that quite well, seeing as we have a child.” Dad said, and Ki-chan looked like he’d been scarred for life from the words alone.

“Uncle! You can’t just- no- that’s not-” Ki-chan looked at the heterochromic man with a horrified expression, and Kirishima easily pulled the blond into a loose hug to help calm him down some.

“Great job, Uncle ‘Sashi, you just traumatised the godbrother I only found out about this year.” Shinsou deadpanned, and that was the thing to break the rising tension of the room.

“Darnit, I traumatised the wrong blond!” Dad said with a spark that only showed itself in his purple eye, making a gesture most commonly found among middle-aged fathers, and the blonds of class 1-A looked to each other.

“Guys, he obviously meant that I was the intended blond.” Denki rolled his eyes with a smile, never pausing once as he ran his fingers through Shirakumo’s curly green-white hair.

Ojiro and Aoyama relaxed a little, and Ki-chan was still trying to recover in Kirishima’s arms. The redhead sat down on the open loveseat with Ki-chan, and pulled the explosive blond a bit closer so they could cuddle properly.

“So… seeing as I’m not in the mood to wake Kumo-kun, who wants to go play a game outside?” Ashido suggested, and earned amused looks from the two being used as a bed.

“We kinda can’t join.” Hanta pointed out.

“Yeah, wouldn’t wanna wake Dearheart and have him give us that stupidly pretty pout.” Denki agreed, and Shirakumo moved closer to the two in his sleep with a soft rumble in his chest.

“My son has saved you two from the shovel talks. This time.” Dad gave a playful grin to both Denki and Hanta, one that showed off his teeth that were just as sharp as his son’s.

On Shirakumo, it was an adorable feature that had made many people get him to smile just to see. On his father, it was not adorable, and even looked like an undertoned threat.

Chapter 30: The Dads!!!

Summary:

I figured you guys would appreciate having the visuals of what I imagine Oboro and Hisashi look like in this fic, since it's a little off from canon (for Oboro) or nonexistent for canon (for Hisashi)

Chapter 31: Shovel Talks

Chapter Text

Bakugou would like it known to anyone that ever fucking asked, that he was absolutely 100% not the damn motherfucking two-bit complete whore that used up the last of the ghost peppers that only he and Izuku seemed to like. And yet, it wasn't Izuku who had finished them off either, which made it quite a mystery to the two.

"Ki-chan, they're all gone and I don' know who took ’em." Izuku whined, looking for all the world like he might start crying over losing his favourite snack.

Bakugou could stomach them in small doses, as part of a meal’s seasoning. He was not, in fact, capable of eating ghost peppers by themselves for a snack like Izuku could and did. The blue-eyed boy actually looked like he might start crying over the dorms seeming to run out of ghost peppers.

"We can ask if anyone's seen where they were put. They might just have gotten moved and whoever moved them forgot to tell either of us, Ku-chan." Bakugou offered an alternative to someone either eating the rest of them, or gods forbid throwing them away when they were Izuku's favourite snack.

The boy's lip quivered dangerously, his azure-cerulean-aqua blue eyes wide. Sparkplug and Elbows weren’t near to cheer him up from the loss of his favourite snack that he’d been looking forward to all day, which meant it was up to Bakugou to figure out how to keep Izuku from crying.

Shirakumo Oboro and Hisashi sat together on a couch in one of the many conference rooms found in Yuuei’s halls. Across from them on the opposite table sat their son’s two boyfriends. A coffee table between them held some refreshments, including a bowl filled to the brim with ghost peppers and a pitcher or two of lychee juice. The two teens were understandably nervous, since they were most likely being given the inevitable shovel talks that they’d been threatened with. Oboro had even flown back over so he could be present for them as well.

Both Kaminari Denki and Sero Hanta were pretty certain that even if they did leave the room with their lives, they’d probably be traumatised and terrified to do anything that would even mildly upset their boyfriend. Especially since Hisashi was eating the ghost peppers by themselves and didn’t even look the slightest bit in need of milk or something else to soften the kick of the spiciness. With their boyfriend Izuku it was a beautiful and wonderful way to show just how amazing the blue-eyed boy was. With the boy’s dad, however, it came across as a threat and something to be feared. Kaminari and Sero’s shared fear of upsetting their boyfriend’s dads most likely played some part in how it was interpreted in their minds.

“So… how have you been treating my little cloud while I’ve been away?” Oboro started, coming across half threatening and half attempting to be friendly.

“We’ve been treating him pretty good, as far as I can tell. He never complains about anything either of us do when with him, at least not if we’re in earshot.” Sero started, letting Kaminari hold his hand to offer the blond some comfort.

“Yeah, Izu’s only real complaint is that we can’t spend more time cuddling and Aizawa-sensei has restricted how often we can have sleepovers. Neither Hanta or I want to deal with the consequences of breaking that rule, though, no matter how much Izuku gives us puppydog eyes or pouts over it.” Kaminari chimed in, agreeing with Sero’s assessment.

“Good. I wouldn’t want to have to impress upon you just how important my son is to me and my husband, or just what would happen if you weren’t treating him right.” Hisashi said, and Oboro placated the detective by placing a hand on his knee.

“Now, Sashi, you said we wouldn’t be blatantly threatening them. Both of our son’s boyfriends know full well that if they step out of line and make Izuku cry for negative reasons, that they will have to face the consequences.” Oboro said, managing to be much more threatening than Shirakumo’s other father by virtue of how calmly he said everything.

The shovel talk ended after another five or ten minutes of Hisashi and Oboro making sure both Kaminari and Sero knew exactly what would happen if they didn’t treat Shirakumo right, and the blond and ravenet were sent back to the dorms with the bowl of ghost peppers to give to their shared boyfriend. Hisashi had admitted to taking it from the dorms, and had told the two to give it to Izuku as an apology for taking it in the first place.

Hearing that their boyfriend’s father had taken the only bowl of spicy peppers, Sero and Kaminari made their way back to the dorms as fast as they could without any of the peppers falling out of the bowl. Shirakumo loved snacking on spicy foods, and he was most probably upset over it being not where he’d put it the day before. And neither teen wanted to see their boyfriend start crying like he had when one of the students from another course had bumped into him and caused him to drop the bento that Kaminari and Sero had made specifically for him. They’d worked together in the early hours of the morning to put the dishes together and get enough spiciness in it that Sero’s nose had burned. Kaminari hadn’t been affected nearly as much, his electricity Quirk made it to where spicy food didn’t affect him nearly half as bad as it affected someone without a Quirk that helped in subtle ways. The two had added takonatsume, shichima togarashi, and some various spices from other cultures to make sure that Shirakumo would enjoy it. The box the lunch had been in hadn’t opened and spilled Shirakumo’s food, but he’d still been greatly upset over the possibility of losing the chance to eat the fruit of his boyfriends’ efforts to indulge his love of spicy food.

The two walked into the dorms to see Bakugou trying to prevent Shirakumo from crying over the spicy peppers not being in the fridge like they were supposed to be.

“Izu! Your dads stole the peppers when they decided to ambush us with a shovel talk, we have them right here.” Kaminari called, and Shirakumo looked up from where Bakugou was awkwardly hugging him and patting his head.

He immediately brightened upon seeing the bowl in Sero’s arms, and broke away from Bakugou to move towards his boyfriends and his favourite food.

Chapter 32: Vertical Challenges

Chapter Text

Shirakumo knew that he and Denki were among the shorter members of the class, and that their shared boyfriend Hanta was a good bit taller than the two of them. But fuck if Hanta didn’t make it tempting to steal his kneecaps at times, like when he put their things where they couldn’t. Fucking. Reach. Them.

“Izu, please don’t kill Hanta.” Denki said, running his fingers through Shirakumo’s pale green hair to try and get the teen to stop vibrating in place so angrily.

“I can’t fuckin’ reach my snacks, Denks. Hanta put them outta our reach an’ Iida-kun’s gon’ get on us again if I use my Quirk to make a portal to grab ‘em.” Shirakumo said, vibrating only slightly less at the affection from the boyfriend that wasn’t being a backstabbing traitor and moving things to where he couldn’t reach them.

Curse Hanta for bein an entire 183 cm (6’ 0”) when Denki was 167 (5’ 6”) and Shirakumo was the shortest of the triad at 165 cm (5’ 5”) tall. He made it so fucking tempting at times to just kick his ankles every time he let slip a height joke, even as rare as it was for Hanta to tease the two like that. He preferred to use pet names and affectionate touches when teasing them.

“Izuku, beloved, dearheart, my light, you can’t kill our boyfriend. If I pick you up, we should be able to reach your snacks pretty easily, love.” Denki said as he continued to run his fingers through Shirakumo’s curly hair.

“Not gonna kill our boyfriend, baby, just steal his kneecaps.” Shirakumo muttered with venom barely showing in his tone.

“How about you wait to steal Hanta’s kneecaps until after we get your snacks down for you, darling?” Denki said fondly, and Shirakumo let out the quietest purr possible when Denki scratched lightly at his scalp by accident.

The blond grinned, and carefully went to scratch at Shirakumo’s scalp again once he realised what had caused the purr from his green-haired lover. The way Shirakumo was vibrating in place slowly calmed down until he was calm enough that Denki only knew he was still vibrating because he had his arms around the shorter boy. He hummed something soft and gentle, smiling a little when Shirakumo let out a quiet purr in response.

“You calm now, love?” Denki asked, and Shirakumo sighed before giving a small nod against him.

“Still wanna steal Hanta’s kneecaps. Can’t put stuff outta our reach if he can’t reach either.” The green-haired teen mumbled without the venom that had been in his voice before.

Denki smiled with amusement, pausing in running his fingers through his boyfriend’s hair to press a kiss to freckled skin just a little bit above those pretty blue eyes. “He can’t be a hero without them either, darling. You don’t want to take our boyfriend’s dream away just because you’re upset with him, do you?”

Shirakumo took a moment to think it over, before sighing. “No, he’d leave us if I did that.”

Denki tried not to laugh over their boyfriend leaving the relationship being the thing that made Shirakumo decide not to maim Hanta for putting his snacks where he couldn’t reach. It was something that it seemed like Ki-chan would do, which was just a testament to how close the two were now that Shirakumo remembered and their relationship was mended.

“Sero-kun! Your boyfriends are being lovey-dovey in the kitchen again!” Todoroki called from the entrance.

Shirakumo and Denki sprang apart like Denki had accidentally sparked. There was rapid running, followed by a thud, then a hissed curse in ish, then more running before Hanta got to the kitchen doorway.

“You were being sweet without me?”

His brown eyes were wide, and there was a pout playing on his lips. Shirakumo narrowed blue eyes and hissed slightly at the question, and Hanta blinked rapidly in confusion.

“Did I do something, dragónito?

Wordlessly, Denki pointed to the shelf that housed Shirakumo’s snacks, one that was clearly out of the boy’s reach.

“Izu, why do you think I would put your snacks where you can’t reach? That would just be mean.” Hanta walked over and had to go on his tiptoes to reach the bag of chips his boyfriend had been wanting.

Shirakumo had stopped being mad at him the moment he gave a solid argument for why it wasn’t him, and let out a soft purr when Hanta handed him the chips.

“Sorry I thought it was you, Hanta. You’re just the tall person I’m closest to out of our classmates.” Shirakumo said sheepishly, leaning into the hand that Hanta carded through his hair.

“It’s fine, love. I know how you can get without your spicy snacks.” Hanta kissed his forehead, and Denki failed to hide the fond shake of his head or the smile on his face.

“He was talking about stealing your kneecaps for it, just so you’re aware. Only thing that made him dismiss the idea was you can’t be a hero without working legs and would leave us.” Denki ratted out, and Hanta just looked at Shirakumo in loving exasperation.

“Why my kneecaps, specifically?” The darkest-haired of the triad questioned.

“Can’t be taller without them.”

Hanta chuckled lightly at the response, and the three exited the kitchen with Shirakumo holding his bag of chips.

It happened again the next day. This time it was Denki’s beloved energy drinks that was placed out of reach, on the top shelf that even Hanta had difficulty reaching even on tiptoes. He had to get a chair to grab them without worrying about dropping any, and was nearly back on the ground when Denki and Shirakumo walked into the kitchen.

“Hanta!” Denki grinned when he spotted his taller boyfriend, Shirakumo also smiling brightly at the brown-eyed teen, “we were just about to get a chair ourselves to grab them since we couldn’t find you. Looks like you beat us to it, chaton.”

Hanta’s arms were full with the case of Denki’s energy drinks, so he couldn’t cover his face with his hands to hide the blush that was starting to show.

“I saw them up there when I went to get a snack and knew someone was trying to keep you from them. Which is just plain mean of whoever it was.”

“I love you.”

Denki punctuated his statement by walking closer and pressing a kiss to Hanta’s cheek, who in response blushed even more obviously at the affection.

Two days after that someone had decided to put Sero’s ish snacks on top of the cupboards themselves. Somewhere not even Hanta could reach without a chair. Someone was going to die.
