Hey, it has been a while since we last talk, while let me fill you in about what had happened with me and the family. Mako and Azula are still happily marry with their 3-year-old son name Sam and are thinking about having another one. Bolin and Opal are finally married and just find out they are having a baby girl. Kuvira and Bj had a baby boy name Kris who is about to turn 2 and half. Our fathers are great and still in business together. As far as our mothers well, they are good and decide to open a small day care because they just love the babies and plus its hard to even get our children back from them most of the time.
Oh, and there is my beautiful wife Asami and princess Katara who also will be turn 3 in a few days. To say she is spoil is an understatement. Business at Future Industry is great, and we have more time to spend with Katara, while we call her Tara for short. While that pretty much what have been going on, I am currently on my way home to spend time with my girls.
***Korren and Asami Home***
Korren had just pull up to the house when he notices that this mother and mother-in-law was walking out the house.
Korren: Good even ladies
Senna: Hi little wave
Yasuko: Hello
Korren: What are you two doing here
Senna: Come to see our grandchild
Korren: you just seen her this morning
Yasuko: Your point is what
Korren: Nothing, ladies as good as it is to see you may I go see my queen and princess
Senna: Of course, love you
Yasuko: See you wave
Korren: Love you to mom and see you beautiful ladies later
With that Korren hug them bye and walk into the house. As soon as the door shut Korren heard Tara laughing and Asami talking to her. He walks into the living room and was met with the sight of his wife playing with his daughter.
Korren: Daddy home
Katara: Daddy
Korren: There is my princess, now where my hugs and kiss
Katara walk up to Korren and he pick her up and start kiss her on the face while she laughs and smile. Then he looks at Asami and said is my queen going to greet me to. Asami got up and hug and kiss Korren.
Korren: How was your day love
Asami: it was long specially with this one (poking Tara in the stomach)
Korren: (smile) what did yal do today (walking towards Tara play pin to put her in)
Asami: While we had to take two baths, play hide, and seek with my paperwork and then our mothers came over and someone decides she did not want to listen to mommy any more
Korren: so busy day I see, come here my love (open his arms for her)
Asami walk over to Korren and just cuddle into him for a few moments and then they sat down and watch Tara play with her toys.
Korren: Why not have a spa day with the girls and my and the guys have a daddy day with the kids.
Asami: I would love that, and I am sure your child (pointing at Tara) would love to see her friends again and spend the day with her daddy
Korren: You act like she a daddy girl
Asami: Because she is a daddy girl
Korren: While how about you be daddy girl tonight (smirking)
Asami: (laughing) Oh no, we are not going there tonight mister
Korren: Lol why not
Asami: Korren I know you want another one, but do you really think we are ready for another baby
Korren: Yes, I do but you know I am happy with-it being Tara, I just figure if we have another one it will help her not be as bored plus you know what it is like to be an only child
Asami: I know love and I will think about it ok just right now I would love to just enjoy our time we have with her
Korren: That fine
After that Korren and Asami just cuddle up and made small talk about what happen at the company and the next step. It was time for dinner when Tara decides she want to throw a fit.
Korren: Tara that enough honey, you need to eat
Katara: No
Korren: Tara, eat for daddy
Katara: NO
Korren: Katara Sky Water now that is enough
Katara: (crying and hitting her highchair) Nnnooooooo
Korren: What is wrong with her (looking at Asami), she never did this before
Asami: I do not know but she just started this today when it was time for lunch
Korren: What did you do when she did this
Asami: I let her cry herself to sleep
Korren: You know what I got an idea
Asami: oh boy, this should be good
Korren: Tara if you stop and behave for daddy, I get your hippo for you
Katara: NO
At this point Korren got up and pick up Katara and noticed she was a bit warm
Korren: Baby, she warmer than normal
Asami: Mmmm lets go to the bathroom to check her temperature
Korren and Asami walk to the bathroom to check and notice she was running a small fever and decide to run her a bath to help break the fever. After they gave her a bath and some medicine and then put her to bed. Korren stood by Katara bedroom door looking at his little girl trying to figure out what happen, when Asami walk up to him and wrap her arms around him.
Asami: What are you thinking love
Korren: She seem fine when I got home and you said minus her doing this earlier, she been her normal little self, so why now
Asami: I do not know love, but we here to make sure she ok that all that matter
Korren: True, I think I am going take tomorrow off and let Steven handle the office tomorrow we really do not have any meetings and the only thing I have is that I know of is the problem with that one employee in and he can handle that, along with HR
Asami: You still having issue with that one person
Korren: A little but everyone knows he on thin ice so if he fucks up again, he is hire
Asami: Do you want me to handle it.
Korren: No, I got it
Asami: Ok well lets go to bed, no telling how long she going to be out
Asami and Korren walk to their bedroom and start getting ready for bed when they heard crying. Korren look at Asami and told her, he would get her. Korren walk back to Katara bedroom and pick up his daughter. That when he notices she was hotter than earlier; he grabs her blanket and wrap it around her and walk back to his room with her. Korren notice Asami was in bed and did not want to bother her so he walks to their bathroom and check her temperature again and this time it was higher than earlier, but what scared him the most was Tara had gone quiet on him. He ran into the room with her in his arm and called Asami.
Korren: Asami honey you need to get up we have to go to the hospital now
Asami: (rubbing her eyes sitting up) what is wrong
Korren: It is the baby her fever is 101 and she barely responding to me
Asami jump out of the bed and grab her night gown and jacket and they both ran to the car. Asami jump in the driver sit and Korren cuddle Katara in his arm trying to talk to her. When they arrive at the hospital, they both jump out and ran inside, once inside the nurse call the doctor and they took Katara in the back while Korren and Asami wait in the waiting room. It was roughly an hour when the doctor came out and said everything was fine, she had an ear infection which cause her to have a fever but want to keep her overnight to make sure everything was ok. Korren and Asami let out a breathe that they was holding and was escort to the baby room. When they got inside Katara was sound asleep. They both kiss her on the head and then call their parents to let them know that Katara will stay with them tomorrow and everything that happen. They had to reassure them that they did not need to come to the hospital, and they would see them tomorrow after noon.
It was a long night but Korren and Asami stay with their daughter and watch her the whole night. Korren held Asami all night and made sure his wife and daughter rest while he watches both of them rest.
It has been a week since Korren and Asami bought Katara home. They watch over her scared that something would happen again. It took their parents talking to them and reassuring them everything will be ok and Katara is ok. They end up going back to work and things slowly got back to normal. It was Friday night and Asami and Korren had the night to their self. They were sitting in the living room cuddling and talking about their day when Korren phone want off. When he got off the phone he was piss and knew he had to tell Asami before someone else tell her.
Asami: What wrong bae
Korren: Look, I need you to promise not to get mad and listen to me when I tell you I would never do anything to hurt you
Asami: You are scaring me Korren, what is going on
Korren: There is this female at work who been giving us some problem in the office and I have been trying to hand it but now I just got call and said I may have to come into the office because of the damage done to my office
Asami: While lets go so I can see for myself
Korren: Are you sure, I can handle it
Asami: Korren I am going and that final
With that they got up and drove to the office. When they arrive at Future Industry, they were met by security and escort up to Korren office. The office was completely change, anything that had to do with Asami was damage. Her picture was replaced and everything else was destroy. Korren just look around and start cussing.
Korren: What the flying fuck, how did she get into my office and why was no one here to catch her
Asami: Korren who the hell is this female
Korren: Her name is Tori
Asami: How did this come about Korren
Korren: I had a meeting with all the employees and told them if they had anything to talk about my door will always be open. She starts having relationship problem and it was affecting her work, so I bought her in to the office and talk with her after that she start acting different. I did not play attention because we were having issue with the HR dealing with that one dude, so I did not put too much attention into it.
Asami: Korren I do not like this
Korren: Me neither but.
Asami: But what
Korren: Asami we need to go to your office now
They took off towards Asami office, she was about to enter when Korren pull her back and told her he would go in first. As Korren walk into the office, something caught the corner of his eye. When he turns around, he notices it was a trap and turn around and grab Asami to shield her. Within the next moment Asami was yelling over a boom and Korren was embracing the impact.
Korren lay on top of Asami looking at her.
Korren: Hi bae, are you okay
Asami: Yes, what about you
Korren: My back is killing me, and I do not feel so good
Asami: Let me see
As Korren try to move off Asami he was only able to lift up a little and Asami wiggle from under him. When Asami look at his back she gasps and grab her phone to call for help. Korren call out for Asami to get her attention.
Korren: Bae I do not feel too good
Asami: do not move love, your back is damage bad
Korren: I want but I think I will rest my eyes for a little bit
Asami: Korren, love I need you to stay up and talk to me
Korren: I love you and our daughter so much
Asami: We love you to and do not talk like that (crying)
Korren: Asami will you call our parents and tell them
Asami; Of course, love
After that Korren close his eyes and Asami start to panic, it was a few moments later before help arrive. Korren was rush to the hospital. Asami call everyone and told them what happen, and they told her they would meet her at the hospital. It was over 5 hours of everyone waiting before they even got an answer from the doctor. Korren had 3rd degree burn to his back and he is currently getting the rest of his skin treated but they could see him in a few but only 2 people can stay with him at a time.
Everyone had gone through to see Korren but Asami and Katara. She was the last one and she was holding their daughter tightly scared of what she would see. Asami walk in to Korren room and seen him lay there not moving, it bought tears to her eyes. As she got closer to his bed, she notices he was starting to stir, Korren look up and smile.
Korren: Hey there my girls
Katara: Daddy (reaching for him)
Korren: Sorry baby but daddy cannot hold you right now
Katara: Daddy I want
Asami: Tara, baby daddy hurt right now be a good girl please
Katara just looking up at Asami and was confused but she stops fusing
Asami: How are you doing
Korren: I am fine, but did you get hurt
Asami: No, you protect me from the blast love, thank you
Korren: It is my job to make sure nothing happens to my girls no matter what
Asami: What happen
Korren: While when I turn around to tell you everything look good and you can come in when in the corner of my eye I seen something that was never in your office and the timer was counting down, All I could do was grab you and try my best to protect you
Asami: While you're not allow to leave me mister
Korren: I would never dream of it but if me giving up my life to protect you I will
Asami: Korren I love you
Korren: I love you to
Katara: Daddy sleep
Korren: Of course, princess, go to sleep I love you to
Asami: I guess I should get her home
Korren: I do not want you at the house by yourself so I ask our parents if you could stay with them and both agree so you can stay with either one
Asami: Just so you will have a piece of mind I will stay at my parents until you are out
Korren: Thank you, I love you so much
Asami: I love you to, I will see you tomorrow and do not worry I am going start the investigation to find this Tori person.
Korren: Ok baby just promise to keep an eye out
With that Asami lend over and kiss Korren and then took their daughter to her parents so they could go to bed.
A few hours later Korren woke in pain and hit his help button a moment later a nurse walk in and ask what was wrong, Korren told her he was in pain and she adjust his medicine in his IV and then left. As Korren was started to drift back to sleep Tori walk in
Tori: This should have been her not you
Korren: what are you doing here
Tori: I come to see you love
Korren: Tori I am married and have a daughter
Tori: Do not worry love I will get our daughter and take care of Asami so we can be happy
Korren: Why are you doing this and stay away from my daughter
Tori: Because Korren you are the only one who shown me that you care about me and I love you
Korren: Tori you cannot do this, I was showing you the respect I do all my employees ..
Before Korren could finish his sentence, the pain med kicks in and he drift off to sleep. Tori kiss Korren forehead and walk out to start figure out how she was going to get Asami out the picture but first she had to lay low for a little bit. Meanwhile, Asami had just put Katara down and walk back downstairs to get her thoughts together when her mother walks in and ask how she was doing. All Asami could do is say she will get that bitch for hurting her king and this is far from over.
