*Tick tock, tick tock, tick*
The clock in the room keeps on ticking until the longer part of it reaches the number 12. Shinjo's phone lightened up with new messages. He opened each one of the messages, mostly coming from his co-members in the theatre club. There is also a line message from Tanimura Nao with a picture of her holding a small cupcake saying she is looking forward to celebrating his birthday later.
After sending reply messages the people who greeted him, Shinjo went to twitter to check on the latest update from official_jo1. He saw the edited picture of Ohira Shosei doing his signature peace sign in front of the camera. The post has reached thousands already with most comments coming from jams who are wishing him a happy birthday. His phone chimed again with a message notification from the birthday celebrant he was checking out a while ago.
My cute airhead brother: Happy birthday aniki! I hope you're doing great in your uni! Please don't forget to take deep breaths to calm yourself.

Shinjo checked the picture his brother had sent and chuckled. He remembered some of the pictures on twitter from line music live where his cute brother is stretching the brown plushie to its limits. Shosei sent one of those pictures with an edited message, saying Shinjo was cuter and more squishy than brown. Shinjo wants to disagree but he will just squish his brother's cheek when they meet again to prove it.
He then noticed that it's already 5 minutes past 12 and he sent his own greetings to Shosei.

Shinjo laughed when his brother replied with "I didn't torture pom anymore, aniki!" in response to the pic he attached. He sent a few pompompurin stickers including a good night sticker before closing his phone.
Today, both of them turned 22 years old. Shinjo was happy that even though there are bad things that happened more than 10 years ago, he was still able to talk well with his younger twin. Even though there are a lot of inconveniences on his part (aka having to wear wigs and change his face a little through makeup when going outside) he was happy that he can see his brother shining on the stage as he keeps on reaching his goals.
Shinjo admits he was a little jealous at first after failing his own audition but nowadays he was more thankful for that since he can pursue another dream. A dream where he can shine on his own efforts with the support of the people dear to him.
His musings were cut short when he received another message, this time from Yonashiro Sho saying that his planned visit tomorrow was approved by the company. After sending his thanks to his brother's leader, Shinjo closed his eyes and dreamed of Shosei's surprised reaction.
Some points that I haven't written but is part of the storyline:
- The chat nicknames are named by each other (shosei changed the one for shinjo and vice versa).
- Shinjo is 5 minutes older than Shosei.
- They did end up meeting each other. Shinjo visited the office just to give his gift and to squeeze Shosei's cheek before meeting Tanimura.
- The members know and already meet Shinjo during their first fanmeeting and knows that he has a brocon tendencies. Of course they can't say it to him in person because they're quite scared of him.
- Shinjo has the same pompompurin stuffed toy that Shosei has. He was planning to give it to him but he was beaten by Syoya. Shinjo didn't want to admit it but Tanimura knows that he was sulking about it for a week.
- Main reason why they have separate names: Shinjo adopted his father's last name while Shosei adopted their mother's last name. They got separated during their childhood days because of their parents' divorce.
