Chapter Text
She didn't want to cry but she couldn't stop the tears from falling, no matter how much she dried them over and over again, they wouldn't stop falling. His lips trembled from keeping them pressed so long to not let anyone hear him cry. The snot fell on him and no matter how much he slurped them, they didn't stop peeking out either.
The red eyes watching him are the only witness and the only ones who have seen him cry, not even his father or siblings have seen him cry since the first and last time he went when he was five and Lady Stark had told him that his mother was a whore who abandoned him because she didn't love him. He could remember how he had yelled at him that his mother was not a whore and in that moment of anger and pain, he lunged at Lady Stark and pushed her with all the strength he could muster causing her to fall to the ground, what happened next was a blur. He could only remember that his face and hands hurt a lot, and his father was hugging him tightly while rocking him and singing him a lullaby to calm him down, Robb was there too, his blue eyes were empty of all feeling. When his gray eyes met his blue ones, the twinkle in Robb's eyes had returned and he had joined his father in the lullaby while holding his hand tightly. Robb never separated from him from that day on, as well as his father personally, despite his work, going to put him to bed every night, tell him a story and then sing to him until he fell asleep.
Even now that he was on his seventeenth name day, his father still put him to bed at night and told him all kinds of stories from the North and sang him a lullaby at the end.
He knew that at his age, he wouldn't have to continue being bedded by his father, but he loved being tucked in. He couldn't fall asleep without his father keeping him company at night and he is eternally grateful that his father still does despite his age.
The sound of a branch snapping brought him back to reality, he hurried to get up and hide behind the Heart Tree. A few minutes later he could hear footsteps approaching, whoever it was stopped in front of the Heart Tree and from what he could hear also knelt down, surely to pray to the Gods. He decided to stay hidden and wait for whoever was there to leave and then leave, the tears were still falling down his cheeks but he didn't let any of his moans escape him, he didn't want to alert the stranger, he relaxed against the bark of the tree, he closed his eyes and kept as quiet as he could.
At some point he must have fallen asleep because when he opened his eyes again, he was no longer in the Godswood leaning against the Heart Tree but in his bed covered up to the neck in blankets, the fire had been lit at some point, now There was only a few ashes that shone in the darkness of his room, since it was so dark it must have already been night.
How long was he asleep?
He only hoped that the one who found him would have been Robb or Father, just thinking that one of the guards, Theon or even one of his younger brothers had found him in such a state made him feel immense shame, he could let it go if it had been his two biggest confidants his father and brother, but not the others.
The door opened and he saw Robb stick his head in, studying the room until Tully's eyes fell on him, seeing him awake Robb immediately entered and closed the door behind him.
-It's good to see you awake, how do you feel? She sat at the foot of the bed and didn't look away from him.
-... - I try to tell him that it's okay but his voice didn't seem to want to come out, he frowned and tried again but his voice didn't come out.
-Okay, don't force yourself - Robb looked at him worriedly from the foot of the bed, his blue eyes gave him away to a great extent - Father found you in the forest of Gods - Robb began, he sighed in relief, no one but his father had seen in such a moment of weakness - told everyone that you had fallen asleep after praying for a while... Jon... What really happened?
She could trust Robb not to believe Father's lies and to know him well enough to know something was wrong.
He didn't want to have to tell his brother what he had discovered that morning when he woke up... Or rather, what he hadn't discovered.
Gray and blue eyes, Stark and Tully eyes, Wolf and Trout eyes.
Both physically are so different but he would not change Robb for anything, he loved him as he is, he could trust him with his secrets and his.
-Could you call Father, I want both of you to be present - he couldn't tell this only to his brother, it is necessary that his other confidant is present. Together they could comfort him better.
-Of course yes! - Robb jumped out of bed - I'll be right back - he ran through the corridors in search of father. Minutes later Robb and his father walked through the door, Robb sat next to him on the bed and his father pulled his desk chair over to the side of the bed.
-Jon, son. Robb told me that you wanted to tell us the reason why you were in the Godswood - he could see the concern in his father's eyes. He didn't want to be the reason for her worries, but he appreciated every time she cared for him, it made him feel loved.
He looked at his father and Robb, he couldn't put this off any longer. He sat on the bed and proceeded to take off his upper clothes, with his torso exposed, he waited for them to say something, his eyes remained on his lap; He didn't want to see the disappointment in his father's and brother's eyes. They were silent until Robb broke it with an unexpected question.
-I don't understand, what am I supposed to do? What does this have to do, with the fact that father found you in the forest of Gods? - He looked at his brother surprised, not being able to believe what he was asking, he looked him straight in the eyes looking if his questions were sincere or if he was just trying to lighten the mood, but he found nothing in his blue eyes that would indicate the latter . He looked at his father and the gray eyes looked back at him, the concern had doubled but above that the sadness dominated them, his father understood what he meant. He looked at Robb, he looked at him sadly, new tears came to his eyes; this time it didn't prevent them from falling I let them go freely. - Why-ee are you crying? - Robb was startled to see him cry, he immediately took him in his arms, his face was pressed against his brother's chest. Her tears wet her clothes but Robb didn't seem to care.
-Robb...- his father's voice surprised them both, until now his father had remained silent. Robb looked to his father for help, his father smiled fondly at him and proceeded to explain the situation - Jon just turned his seventeenth name day two days ago... - Realization flashed across Robb's face, now he understood why Jon showed them his bare torso... stripped to any mark. Robb pulled Jon into a much tighter hug.
-I'm so sorry, it was very insensitive of me - Jon denied from his brother's chest, he knew that Robb had no bad intentions, he just hadn't understood it at first - even so I'm sorry brother
"Me too..." he clung to his brother. They fell silent, the only thing that could be heard above the silence was their sobs. When he was finally able to control himself, he separated from Robb, wiped his tears with the back of his shirt, and once he had recovered, he addressed them both.
-I don't want anyone to know it.... - He got stuck, he looked at them pleading for them to understand.
-Are you sure son? We could talk to the maester and...- he stopped him before he could finish.
No, I don't want anyone to know. Please promise me, please... - the tears appeared before he could stop them, he wiped them away angrily, today he was very sensitive and he hates it - please... - he begged, he didn't mind begging if he could get to keep the secret - please promise me - father had turned extremely pale, the next thing he knew he was in his father's arms, he was holding him tightly.
I promise, no one will know. I swear to the Old Gods that I will never reveal what I have seen to anyone - his father swore to the gods, he looked surprised, gray eyes collided with each other - your secret is safe with me - he smiled gratefully, Robb took his free hand and He squeezed it, looked at it and Robb smiled at him fondly.
-I swear by the Ancient Gods that I will never tell anyone about what I have seen, I will take this secret to my grave - he returned the squeeze, he felt inexplicably happy. I knew I could trust them to keep this. He relaxed in his father's arms and held Robb's hand tightly, closing his eyes, letting his father's heartbeat lull him to sleep.
Thanks to father and Robb, no one knew that he hadn't received his soul mark two days after his seventeenth day name. Everyone believed that her soul mark is a Winter Rose.
Father had suggested the Winter Rose as his mark.
The soul mark could have any shape, from flowers to animals like things for example a sword with fire details or a deer head as well as a crown, like Aunt Lyanna's a crown made of red roses like the fire with ruby details made blood, I knew from Uncle Benjen that it also had silver and violet details. Uncle Benjen's is a gray-eyed white raven with wings outstretched as if taking flight; she would have loved to see it... but she knew she couldn't since Uncle Benjen's mark disappeared a few days after Aunt Lyanna's death.
That made him remember his situation, he didn't have a mark... which means two things. One of her soulmates hadn't been born or... had already died long before she came of age.
A stab of pain made him wince, he clutched his chest in pain, since the day after his name he had not stopped suffering from these random chest pains. Right at this moment he is in the courtyard training with Robb and Theon, the pain made him lose his mind and lower his guard, Theon took advantage of the moment to disarm him and hit him hard in the chest with the handle of the sword, the force in the blow It was enough to send him straight to the ground.
-What's wrong Snow? Not that you were the best - Theon mocked surrounding him, the point of his sword at his neck, he knew what he wanted.
-I surrender - Theon did not remove the sword from his neck, he smiled with arrogance and superiority.
"You're not the best bastard anymore," Theon boasted.
-Enough Theon, Jon surrendered - Robb appeared at his side and took the sword from Theon's hand. Theon didn't take it well and tried to get her back.
-Give it back Robb and I won fairly - Theon pounced on Robb hitting him to remove the sword, Robb did not give up and pushed Theon with enough force to send him to the ground.
-Yes, you have, but your opponent has surrendered and you have not put the sword aside, which goes against the friendly duel we are having - Robb helped him stand up and because of that they did not see when Theon addressed them Theon got up furious and didn't care at all. He went straight to Robb, hit him from behind, they both fell to the ground and the blows were not long in coming.
-Stop! - He tried to separate them but he did not achieve anything more than receiving an elbow in the face, he felt the blood falling from his nose but he ignored it in favor of trying to separate them. They had to have made a big fuss because within seconds of starting the fight, the patio had already filled with people but no one tried to separate them - Enough Theon, Robb!! - This time instead of an elbow he suffered a kick in the chest, what the hell did they have with hitting him in the chest, he already had enough with his random pains not to have to endure this and not to mention the bruises it would leave.
-By the Gods, what's going on here?!!! - well at least someone had gone looking for father. Father approached with Sir Jory and Sir Rodrick, between the three of them they were separated, Father had Robb, Sir Jory had Theon and Sir Rodrick had him - all three of them on my lot. Now!!
They hastened to obey without complaint, with Sir Rodrick and Jory right behind them, surely to make sure they didn't fight again. They walked in silence, heads down, to Father's lot, Father ushered them in, the three of them standing in front of his desk while Father sat on the other side. Sir Rodrick and Jory remained outside.
"I want an explanation right now," Father demanded.
-We were training - Robb began to count - Sir Rodrick had been called, so he ordered us to train until he came back since it wouldn't be long. A duel began between Theon and Jon, Jon was distracted for a moment and Theon managed to knock him down, putting his sword against Jon's neck. Jon gave up and still Theon didn't move the sword, I snatched the sword from him and told him that the duel was over with Jon's resignation, Theon tried to take the sword from me, I pushed him to the ground. I turned around to help Jon up. Theon hit me from behind and we both fell to the ground, we started fighting, Jon tried to separate us but he got hurt... That was until you came and they separated the three of us... - Robb finished and looked at father, father was silent and He studied the three of them from top to bottom.
-Theon you will not hold a steel sword again until I believe you are responsible enough to do so, for the next two weeks you will not train with Sir Rodrick and you will spend them in the stables helping - Theon tried to reply but father silenced him with a movement of your hand. Reluctantly Theon kept silent but let his displeasure show, father didn't seem to care - Robb for the next five days you will help in the kitchens and take care of your brothers Bran and Rickon while you give them lessons together with the Master. You will not train with Sir Rodrick for the next five days.
-Yes father - Robb accepted it much easier, after all it wasn't completely a punishment from his point of view.
-Jon, the best thing would be for you to go see the Master so he can check that nose and clean you up on the way, Robb accompanies your brother - he said goodbye, the three of them were about to leave when father called them - I don't want this to happen again , they heard me.
-Yes father
-Yes Lord Stark
-Theon stay a little longer, there are some things we need to discuss - Theon stayed and Robb and I left. Sir Rodrick and Jory were still on the other side of the door.
-What did Lord Stark say? Sir Rodrick asked them both.
-Lord Stark wants to go see the Master so he can check me out and clean me up.
-Lord Stark has decided that for the next five days I will not train and I must help in the kitchens. I must also take care of the teachings of my brothers together with the Master
-Well that serves as a lesson, you must have thought twice before starting a fight - declared Sir Jory, both Robb and he made a face of discontent, he wanted to tell him that it was Theon who started everything but that didn't matter now. The punishments have already been given. At least Robb won't suffer as much as Theon - well go to the Maester and stop taking up space - Sir Jory did them, they went straight to the Maester's rooms, they didn't take long there, according to the maester there was nothing broken by So it's fine, he just had to wipe off the dried blood. Then he proceeded to see Robb who was already beginning to show signs of ugly bruises on his face, the main one in his right eye that is turning black, now Robb is having a hard time opening his eye but the Master pointed out that for that night he could open it again if he rested. After that they went straight to Robb's rooms, he threw himself on the bed and clutched one of the pillows.
"Come on Snow leave some space" he complained as he was pushed to the side but still moved to leave enough space for Robb to lie down without any problem "do you think father was very angry?"
-I don't think so, compared to other times he didn't look angry. It seems to me more... resigned - Robb laughed at that.
-Without a doubt father is already resigned to our fights... hey... - he called his attention.
-Hmm?...
-It hurts?
-That? - I look confused at Robb, Robb pointed to his chest as a reference - well yes, they kicked me hard while they were wallowing on the ground... - Robb denied.
-No, I mean when you grabbed your chest during the duel with Theon. Theon used that moment to take you down.
-That's it... the truth is that I've felt random pains in my chest since... - it still felt bad having to admit it out loud - since I woke up without a mark on my body two moons ago
-Two Moons!! - Robb exclaimed in surprise, his surprise soon changed to anger and concern - Jon Snow - he buried his face in the pillow while mentally complaining about what was to come, Robb frowned and snatched the pillow from him throwing it to the other side of the bed, far out of reach. He complained but Robb had none of it - Don't even think about pouting - Robb accused him but still couldn't help pouting (if anyone ever asks, he has NEVER pouted. Only kids do and he's not child).
"I don't pout," he complained.
-You do it and don't change the subject - well it was close but Robb knows it too well - Why didn't you say anything if you're in pain? Father would have asked the Master to check you...
-That's why I didn't say anything, if I go to the Master then I'll have to tell him about the fact that I don't have a mark - he reminded his brother.
-That... - Robb was silent when he understood my words - I'm sorry - Robb looked at him with sad eyes and hugged him - I'm sorry, I forgot.
-Okay - sometimes Robb could be a bit forgetful but he never has bad intentions, his concern only made him forget about his situation, he doesn't blame him for forgetting - let's leave that aside - Robb complained but continued without giving him a chance to speak - How about you?
-Me? - I look at him confused.
- Yes, tomorrow all the gentlemen will come to celebrate your seventeenth name. Aren't you excited for all the gentlemen to come to see you? - To his surprise Robb didn't look happy at all, going so far as to put on a disgusted face, he looked at him confused - What's up? I thought you'd be pleased with the lords coming to congratulate you on your seventeenth day name.
-I would be if it weren't for the fact that they only come to see my brand and see if any of their daughters coincide with mine - the disgust in her voice was clear, at that moment she understood it, they didn't come to celebrate the name day of her brother, if not to see which of his daughters can become the next mistress of Winterfell.
- I had forgotten that part, I'm sorry for you - felt sorry for Robb. He may not have anyone since he didn't get a mark but Robb would get his tomorrow and the simple fact that only people come to see if his brother's mark matches any of them is sad and unacceptable, if it were him, he would also feel disgusted by the people around him.
-That's it, nothing will prevent father's flag bearers from coming tomorrow and starting to talk, and his daughters approaching me asking about my brand - he grimaced, sometimes girls could be very annoying when they want something - but I guess it's better than being paired with a girl from the south.
"I agree, I haven't met any girls from the south yet, but just seeing Sansa behave like a southern girl like Lady Catelyn, it's better to marry a girl born from the north" Robb laughed nodding with him.
-Yes, you know I've talked to dad about it. We both agreed that he would marry a northern daughter of one of Father's flag-bearers.
"And how do I take it, Lady Catelyn, that?"
-Bad, I've heard them argue more than once in their room. My mother is determined that I marry a Southerner to establish yet another new alliance with the South, which she says benefits the entire North. My mother, even behind my father's back, has been teaching me the names of various women from the upper houses and wants me to choose one of them.
"And have you told dad?"
-Of course, father was furious. That same day they argued again much worse than all the other times. Surely you have realized that as a mother she has lost much of her authority.
-I have seen how the Master, the servants and others no longer obey the orders of Lady Catelyn. And if he orders something, first they go to Father to inform him and depending on what Father says, the request is fulfilled or not.
-It is as you say, apparently Mother has been suppressing Father's authority as Lord of Winterfell by doing whatever he wants without his authorization. So Father reminded her of her place and ordered everyone to also remember where Mother's place is, since then she hasn't been able to move freely anymore... I've noticed that many are happy that they don't have to obey mother anymore .
-... - being Lady Catelyn of the South it is to be expected that they do not want to have anything to do with her. After everything that happened to the Stark house every time it gets together with someone from the South... The Starks are the ones who suffer, never the other houses and the North Remember, now and always, just like its people.
They remained silent until someone called out to them.
-Ahead - the door opened and a maid leaned out of it who at that moment could not remember her name, she had light brown eyes, her skin is white so much that it made her look sickly, her build is thin and short, she was doing well warm and carrying a couple of sheets - Yes?
-I have come to inform you that the food has already been served, only the two gentlemen are missing.
-We'll be right there
-With your permission I'm leaving - he left, leaving the two of them alone.
-Okay brother, let's eat! - Robb released him and jumped out of bed - come on, don't be left behind! - He ran out, hurried to catch up. In the end the two arrived agitated and sweatier than they were from training a few hours ago, time had flown by without them noticing. As the girl said, everyone was there, only he and Robb were missing. They hurried to take their places.
-Where have you two been? - Arya immediately approached them without giving them time to sit down.
-We were in my room - Robb answered Arya as he filled his plate with everything on the table. He also began to fill his plate but more sparingly and not with everything on the table.
-Shouldn't they be training? Bran asked.
Is it true that they fought? That's why you have a black eye - Arya asked from her seat, trying to get closer to Robb despite having the table in the middle.
-Yes, Theon and I fought. No, for the next five days there is no training for me, but starting tomorrow Rickon and Bran will have a new teacher.
-Seriously! - Bran jumped from his seat excited and spilling some of his food, Lady Catelyn made a face and proceeded to challenge Bran, who was not paying much attention to her annoyance - Who is he? Do I know him? will you teach? - He said excited by the simple idea of having a new teacher.
- Bran! Bran cringed at being scolded by Lady Catelyn, but quickly dismissed it and kept asking questions. Lady Catelyn in an effort to get Bran to behave smacked him over the head with more force than required.
-THERE ARE!! - Bran shouted clutching his head in pain, tears came out of his eyes. Everyone present was shocked with eyes wide open, even the few servants who were still walking around the place doing their duties were paralyzed by the situation. Ned Stark was the first to come out of his shock, he got up furious and went straight to his son.
-CATELYN!! - he exclaimed in a savage growl as he took Bran in his arms, little Stark hid his face on his father's chest, tears of pain falling and fading on Lord Stark's cloak. Ned Stark could feel how his cloak was getting wet from his son's tears, that only made a wild rage ignite inside him but instead of feeling warmth like fire he felt cold like ice, it made him feel like if his Wolf Blood after being asleep for so long will finally wake up.
-Ned I... - Catelyn tried to reach her husband and son, there the key word "Attempt". As soon as she took a step towards her husband and son, a bestial growl stopped her, paralyzed with fear, she looked for the source and when she looked around she realized that all eyes were on her. She took a step towards Lord Stark to tell him that there was a beast circling the corridors when she heard it again, but this time much louder, at that moment she realized that it was not a beast that was making that noise but her husband who He looked at her with a great intensity, not the good one - Ned...
-Length! - growled with anger, Catelyn did not know what else to do but stay frozen in place. Ned was scaring her with the way he looked at her, he looked like a Wolf ready to attack at the slightest movement she made, he had never looked at her with eyes so cold and devoid of feelings, scared she backed away but didn't leave the dining room, she couldn't be intimidated for her husband. Her Ned would never treat her this way, surely this is just a one time thing.
Unfortunately for Lady Catelyn, Eddard "Ned" Stark was beginning to lose what little self-control he had not to attack his wife, something inside him urged him to get rid of the threat that Tully currently represents for her puppies, when seeing Bran get beaten and see him scream and cry, made something inside him come out, made him feel wild and strong and complete.
-LENGTH!! - he shouted in a loud bark that made everyone in the room shudder, Lady Catelyn ran away with fear carved into her face. Ned waited a moment and surely a few minutes after Catelyn would be far enough away, he pushed Bran away from his chest enough to look into his eyes, his son still had red eyes from crying but at some point he had stopped - Are you okay? Where does it hurt? - It's silly to have to ask such a thing but he still did it. Bran pointed behind his head but said nothing, instead looking at him with astonishment flashing in his eyes. He did not understand why his son was looking at him like that but he remembered that his other children are there too, he looked at them all one by one, just like Bran they looked at him in amazement but he noticed that in Robb and Jon's eyes there was not only astonishment but also pride, why? I did not know, I did not know it. He noticed that Sansa had gone from astonished to fearful, seeing the fear in his eldest daughter's eyes made him feel angry and something else he couldn't identify. But I didn't know any regrets about making Catelyn go the way she did. He saw the faces of the servants who were walking around the place when that happened, he saw astonishment like all his children, pride like Robb and Jon. He also saw in their eyes an inexplicable relief as if something extremely heavy had been lifted from their shoulders.
"Come on," Ned urged Bran back to their seats, dropping Bran back into his place. The servants immediately went back to their duties but he noticed out of the corner of his eye how two in particular ran out of the dining room, he didn't take much notice, he would talk to them later. He turned his attention to his children who were looking at him waiting for him to say something - finish your meal, it's quite late - he silently watched his children eat, his eyes turned to his eldest daughter who instead of eating like her brothers was playing with the food on her plate and at times she gave him looks full of fear, she did it as if he hadn't already noticed. He decided to ignore her in favor of eating, that little episode left him hungry for some reason, before he knew it he had already filled his plate like three times and the servants had to replenish each time it was served but they didn't seem to complain, on the contrary they they looked satisfied. If he remembers correctly, his brothers, including Lyanna, Father and Mother, repeated more than one dish at dinner time, unlike him, who could never go beyond one. The chefs were always happy to cook in large quantities, his father had once told him that his great appetite was due to his Wolf Blood, since the Dire Wolves for being big they were should eat three times more than a common Wolf. , hence why they ate so much and why their figures did not change.
-Father - Sansa called to Lord Stark, Ned put aside his food and focused his attention on his eldest daughter who was not looking at him, instead she moved restlessly in her seat and her gaze did not leave her lap.
Sansa, is something wrong?
"Why did you kick mom out for disciplining Bran?" - In favor of listening more carefully to the conversation, all the Stark children left their food aside and looked at their father waiting for his answer.
"Sansa, look me in the face when you talk to me." Sansa clenched her fists tightly under the table, her dress wrinkling because of it but it helped Sansa gather enough courage to look her father in the face. Stark's gray eyes and Tully's blue eyes collided with each other, with Sansa's attention focused on Lord Stark, Ned proceeded to reply - Did Sansa think what your mother did was right?
Sansa thought her father's question was pretty silly but she answered anyway.
Yes, Bran wasn't listening to Mother. Plus he was making a mess at the table. That is not the way to behave at the table.
-Then you think it's okay that your mother hit Bran for that - Bran winced from his seat as he grabbed the injured place, Bran didn't like what his mother did to him, so he doesn't agree with Sansa's thoughts.
-He deserves it for not obeying mother, if mother does not correct him from now on, he will only embarrass the family when he gets together with other gentlemen. Maybe there will be no problem since we are in the North but if... the gentlemen... of the South saw-or saw-an... - He was cut off before the icy gaze of his father.
"Sansa" he called in a low growl, Sansa shivered in place, she looked to her brothers for help but none of them looked at her, they all looked at their father "Are you a girl from the North or from the South?"
-No-orte-ee... - she stuttered doubtfully, it's not worthy of a lady to stutter but before her father's voice and his eyes she couldn't help it. Seeing him, she felt scared and felt trapped. Lord Stark's gray eyes narrowed on Sansa and for a moment he said nothing, they remained that way until Lord Stark looked at all the occupants in the room and once more at his daughter before speaking.
-Finish your meal and then to your rooms. Sansa go to my lot once you're done - she didn't say anything else and got up to leave the place. Sansa released all the air she had been holding without realizing it, once her father had disappeared through the halls, she collapsed on herself, not caring that he was not worthy of a lady. She stayed like that for a long time and was lost in her own thoughts and in her father's words, it wasn't that she came back to reality until Arya hit her on the shoulder, she glared at her, the blow hurt more than it hurt. he would have liked to admit.
-What? - She exclaimed angrily, clutching the injured place.
"If you're done, go to father's lot," Arya said to Sansa before getting up and leaving. She looked at her plate confused only to see it empty, had she eaten without realizing it? It seemed that way, she looked around for her brothers only to realize that she is the last one at the table and in the room, the servants had also left while she was lost in thought. He left the plate aside, one of the servants would pick it up later, fearfully he went to his father's solar. He walked as slowly as possible, he didn't want to get there and at the same time he did, he was curious about what his father would have to talk to him about but he was afraid that his father was still angry and was going to growl at him like he did to his mother, at that moment he didn't see his dear father but a beast ready to attack and his eyes...
It reminded him of Winterfell.
He never liked the corridors of Winterfell, everything in this place is gray and cold. As she hates the cold, she prefers the heat as a mother and likes the customs of the South more like the stories Septa Mordane tells her. One thing the South has that the North never has; they are Kings and Queens, their dream was always to be able to become Queen and together with their King to govern the entire Kingdom, to be loved by all and that their name be heard by the Seven Kingdoms and beyond. Passing over the sea and beyond the Wall, she wishes to be remembered for her kindness and beauty.
But she knew that being here she would never achieve it, she would like to be able to go to the south and marry Prince Joffrey, the septa told her that he is a handsome and good boy, who is loved by everyone in the south, I wish his mark would coincide with that of Prince Joffrey when he comes of age, that way they could marry and have many children, they would live happily in the castle.
She sighed dreamily, she wished she could leave this gloomy place and go to a place warmer and full of life.
Before she knew it, she was already standing in front of the door of her father's solar. With fear she called, a cold voice was heard on the other side giving her the pass, she entered and saw her father sitting behind his desk with his hands crossed and looking at her, she swallowed hard and entered, closing the door behind her.
