Humans, despite all their pride, wrath, sloth, lust, envy, gluttony and greed, love other humans.
And according to mythology, this love is given a little push by someone like Cupid or Aphrodite/Venus. But in reality, this task is done by a special group of heroes.
And some of those heroes are none other than Tetsutetsu and Itsuka.
“Alright. Everyone sit down. We’re about to start.” Grand angel Sekijirou said as he gathered his twenty angels, who just wouldn’t shut up.
“Hey Juzo, how is project Todomomo coming along?” Sen asked as he sat down next to his friend.
“It’s going a bit slow. Who would have guessed that two rich, sheltered kids would be very very quick to get flustered. Both me and Setsuna think it should be possible to finish the assignment.” The lipless angel said before he began telling about the shy mortals, causing his friend to laugh.
Meanwhile on the other side of the room,
“So even after setting them up for so many dates, me and Rin still can’t get those two together.” Kosei groaned as he retold his colleagues Ibara and Shoda some stories about an overly cheerful blonde boy and a depressed purple haired boy.
“QUIET!!!” Sekijirou screamed as his angels finally quieted down. “Good.” The grand angel muttered before recomposing himself. “We got a few new assignments today. Ironically, the sister of the boy from the Todomomo project has her eyes on a tanned albino girl from the gym across the school she works at. Yui and Reiko, do you think you can handle them?”
“Yes sir.” Reiko answered as her partner in both ways nodded.
“Wonderful. Next are…the parents of the Todomomo boy. What’s wrong with that family?” The leader of the angels asked himself before returning his focus to his angels. “Anyhow, after going through a rough patch in their marriage, they need a little help rekindling their love. Since this is a big one, Neito, Ibara, you two are some of my finest angels. I’m sure you two can help them.”
“Of course, sir!” Neito said proudly as Ibara did a quick prayer for luck.
“And lastly, an extremely shy boy named Izuku Midoriya has a crush on his classmate Ochaco Uraraka, who also likes him but is too scared to admit it.”
“GOD FUCKING DAMMIT! IT'S JUST TETSU AND ITSUKA ALL OVER AGAIN!”
“First of, Togaru. Don’t use the lord’s name in vain. Second, that’s why I’m sending Tetsutetsu and Itsuka to assist them.” Sekijirou said as he turned to the two angels, who were holding hands under the table. “Are you two up for the task?”
Looking each other in the eyes before giving each other a short kiss, Itsuka stood up with Tetsutetsu’s hand still in hers.
“We will complete project Izuocha sir.”
Upon being sent to the human realm, the angelic couple had to disguise themselves. So they shrunk their halos to the size of bracelets, replaced their robes for more modern clothes and folded their wings into their clothes. Once that was done, they started looking for their targets. Luckily, they found Izuku pretty quickly under a tree in the park with a sketchbook.
And after taking a brief look over his shoulder and seeing the inside, the couple saw multiple drawings of a cute Ochaco with wings and a halo.
How ironic.
“Woah, you sure are head over heels.” Tetsu muttered, startling Izuku.
“Dammit Tetsu, don’t scare the guy that hard.” Itsuka teased as the gray haired angel gave her a teasing grin back.
“W-who are you two?” The greenette stuttered as he clung his book close to his chest.
“We’re your guardian angels. I’m Itsuka and he is my boyfriend Tetsutetsu or Tetsu for short. We’re here to help you and that Ochaco girl get together.” The ginger answered as the angels briefly looked around. Once confirming no one was watching them, they transformed their halos back to their original forms above their heads before returning them to their bracelet forms.
“….D-d-did you guys die?”
“…I’m starting to understand why you don’t have a girlfriend.” Tetsu muttered. “We did but that’s not important right now.”
“My Tetsu’s right. Now do you know where Ochaco Uraraka is?” Itsuka followed as Izuku pointed at a nearby bench, where a brunette girl was feeding some duck in a pond. “She seems nice.”
“She is nice.” Izuku sighed. “And smart, and pretty and cool and,”
“Alright loverboy. We get it.” Tetsutetsu interrupted Izuku’s lovestruck mumbling as he and girlfriend laughed. “Was I this bad too?”
“Trust me, Tetsu. You were worse.” Itsuka laughed before grabbing Izuku by the shoulders. “Now because one look at you tells me you have confidence issues, I’ll suggest just talking to her and befriending her.”
But just as Itsuka said this, a taller blonde boy walked towards the brunette with confidence. “Hey Uraraka, Wanna go on a date?” Katsuki asked as Ochaco looked at him confused.
“Are you talking to me?”
“Who else, cheeks?” The blonde asked as Ochaco briefly turned around to look at Izuku, who quickly looked away to hide his tears.
“….Um, alright then. One date won’t hurt right.” Ochaco muttered as she got up from the bench with an uneasy facial expression. “Um, 19:00 at the cinema?”
“See you then cheeks.” Bakugou said as he walked away. As soon as he did, Ochaco wanted to look for Izuku.
But she couldn’t find him nor the boy and girl who stood next to him.
“So…that could have gone better.” Itsuka muttered as Tetsu was comforting a depressed Izuku.
“I don’t know. That went pretty well.” A new voice said. Turning around, the two angels and their target saw a boy on the shorter side with a beanie from which long brown hair emerged. “The blonde egomaniac had a crush on the brunette. So why not use him as an obstacle by encouraging him to ask her out.”
“What the hell! You think that is funny or somethi-WOAH!” As Tetsutetsu was about to give the boy a piece of his mind, the gray haired angel suddenly fell.
“Hell, how funny.” The boy muttered as Tetsutetsu saw what caused him to fall.
A long red pointed tail that ended in the new boy’s pants.
A demon.
“The name’s Masu. I guess we were assigned the same couple.”

“The name’s Masu. I guess we were assigned the same couple.” The demon boy said with a grin as Itsuka helped her boyfriend up from the ground.
“The same..couple?” Izuku stuttered with a panicked facial expression. “W-what do you mean?”
“I mean that I’m here to break you and your lady friend apart. Or I suppose it’s more like trying to replace you with a mindless jock that likes the girl too.” The demon said as he grabbed Izuku’s schoolbag, pulled an apple out of it before taking a large bite out of it.
“Okay, we get it. You are a jerk and Izuku has to beat your influence with our help.” Itsuka growled as the demonic boy gave her a sharp-toothed grin.
“Remind me why we can’t just beat him up?” Tetsu whispered to his girlfriend. “I mean, he doesn’t look that strong.”
“Why thank you, meathead.” Masu mumbled sarcastically as he and Tetsu began giving each other death glares, only for Izuku to walk away.
“Izuku, where are you going? Is this because of Imp-boy over here.” Itsuka asked her new friend.
“I…have to go.” The greenette mumbled as he walked away with a downtrodden face.
“You two zero, me one.” Masu whispered into the angel couple’s ears before walking away while eating the remains of Izuku’s apple.
So because the angelic couple were bound to stay for a while because of Izuku’s shyness, they were given an apartment to live in….something that apparently also happens in hell…especially the same apartment.
“What in heaven’s name are you doing here?!” Itsuka yelled as the first thing she saw in their new apartment was Masu on the couch with a large book.
“I live here. What are you two doing?”
“We live here too. So get out!” Tetsu yelled as he tried to pull the demon out of the couch, only for Masu to stab his pointy tail into the angel’s throat.
“TETSU!”
“Quit your whining. I know you angel pricks have regeneration.” Masu growled as Tetsutetsu’s throat did in fact heal itself. “I must admit. You are probably the most violent angel I’ve ever seen.”
“Why you little Shi-” “Enough, Tetsu.” Itsuka interrupted her boyfriend in favor of getting between the two males. “It’s clear grand angel Kan and…whoever is responsible for him accidentally put us in the same building. Maybe he can help us.” The she-angel said as she was about to contact their boss, only to hear a knock on the door. “Were you expecting someone, Imp?”
“I have a name you know. And yes, I invited someone.” Masu growled as he opened the door. “Welcome to my-I guess our humble abroad.” The demon said with a smirk as Izuku walked inside.
“Um thank you, Masu…Why are Tetsutetsu and Itsuka here?”
“Our bosses hate us or something.” Masu muttered before closing the door. “Anyhow, are you ready for the movie?”
“Movie? What are you planning, Imp?” Itsuka asked skeptically, only for the demon to point his tail at her throat.
“Don’t call me that.” He growled with a murderous look.
“M-Masu suggested we go to the same movie as Ochaco…That way, I can learn to live with her dating my bully.” Izuku mumbled with a sad smile.
“Oh for heaven’s sake! Me and Tetsu are coming with you. If Imp-boy can ruin your date, we can make it more romantic.” Itsuka yelled as she pulled Tetsu into a sideway hug.
“Itsu, if you wanted a date, you could have just asked.” The gray haired muttered with a grin, causing Itsuka to give him a playful shove.
“So this is what you want with the brunette?” Masu muttered with a tired look as Izuku nodded. “*sigh* How dreadful.”
“What are Deku and the extras doing here?” Bakugou growled as his ‘date’ got interrupted by multiple people joining him and Ochaco.
“Maybe we’re here for the movie, dipshit. Izuku just wanted to say hey to your girlfriend.” Masu growled as he pushed Izuku forward. “Go ahead, buddy boy.”
“Um, h-hey Ochaco…you look nice.” The greenette told her with a blush, gesturing at her simple pink dress.
“T-thanks, y-you look nice too. T-The tie is really cute.” She stuttered back with a sheepish smile, gesturing at Izuku’s poor attempt at tying his tie.
“Do they just not..see and hear each other?” Itsuka muttered with a shocked look.
“These two really need our help.” Tetsu answered as he returned with some nachos. “Here you go, babe.”
“Awe, thanks baby. Want me to feed them to you?” Itsuka asked as she immediately fed one chip in her boyfriend’s mouth.
“Mmm, delicious.”
“Either we all go into the movie or I’m going to throw up into your nachos.” Masu grumbled as the angelic lovers, the flustered non-couple and Bakugou got the hint.
The movie was a failure bordering on victory for the angels. On the one hand, Izuku and Ochaco were laughing and joking through the whole first half of the movie, so Masu lost. But Tetsu and Itsuka wouldn’t have noticed because like the non-couple, they were having a lovely time watching the movie. Feeding each other nachos while the girl put her head on her boyfriend’s shoulder. Only after the intermission did they come to their senses.
“W-what happened?” The ginger asked as soon as she and her boyfriend got out of their ‘lovey-dovey’ mode.
“We’re at the movies and you two clearly need a room. Now I’m going to take a piss and maybe vomit.” The demon answers monotonously before getting up and walking away.
“Oh, I suppose I’ll go as well. Be back in a second, babe.” The ginger said, kissing Tetsu on the cheek before turning to Izuku. “Try making small talk.” She instructed, causing Izuku to turn to Ochaco.
“……I like….books.”
“No way, me too.”

“Why hello, gorgeous.”
After Itsuka was finished peeing and began washing her hands, two guys entered the lady’s room. One was a slim guy with short gold hair, parted to the right with a black lightning-shaped streak on the left of his side fringe. The other was a leprechaun with a purple mohawk.
“You two are aware this is the lady’s room right?”
“Really, we must have accidentally entered the wrong one.” The leprechaun said with an ‘innocent’ voice. “Anyhow, I’m Minoru Mineta and my friend is Denki Kaminari.”
“Cool, I'm going to return to my awesome boyfriend, friend and my dumb roommate.” The ginger said with an annoyed tone, trying to get past the two guys. But they wouldn’t let her.
“Come on, cutie. We’ll walk you to your seat. Make sure you’re protected from shady guys.” Mineta assured her.
“If there is one person that doesn’t need protection right now, it’s me.” The ginger angel threatened, hoping that they fell for it. If she were to use her actual strength, she might seriously injure them. Sadly, the guys just laughed.
But then, out of seemingly nowhere, Masu entered the bathroom. “What’s with all the noise? Can’t you simply piss quietly?”
“Is this her boyfriend? He doesn’t look that impressive.” Mineta told his friend, who immediately began comparing his height to Masu’s. The demon meanwhile just pulled the large book from before out of his backpack.
“Okas Orihusta.” He read out loud as suddenly, the two guys turned into little blue balls, which Masu threw down the toilet before flushing.
“What the heck, imp?! Did you just kill them?!”
“I used magic to turn them into marbles. The effect should reverse after an hour. And for fuck sake, stop calling me imp.”
“Why? Isn’t that your species?” Itsuka asked, genuinely confused. The books grand angel Kan gave them called inhabitants of hell imps or demons.
“….Imps is a word for worthless, insignificant demons that don’t deserve to exist. It's the worst thing to be in the worst place in the universe.” The demon answered with an almost sad tone as he put back the book in his backpack. “Let’s just go finish the damn movie so Izuku can ask out the brunette.”
“Wait.” Itsuka stopped him briefly. “Thanks for the help. I almost used my angel powers, which would have ruined the mission by revealing myself.”
“…You guys were just too noisy.” Masu grumbled before walking away. Not before Itsuka noticed his small blushes.
The rest of the movie went by like before. Izuku and Ochaco were enjoying each other’s company without asking each other out (this was a harder job than the angels hoped), Bakugou was pissed that his date got stolen, and the angels were enjoying each other’s warmth.
“Want some more nacho’s, baby?” Itsuka asked as Tetsu opened his mouth, allowing her to put the chips inside. But then, the ginger briefly turned to Masu, who still looked as annoyed as ever. “Hey Masu, want some too?”
“Didn’t you lovebirds pay for it?”
“Relax, you can have some too, imp-AUW.” Tetsu yelled as his girlfriend hit him in the ribs. “What was that for?”
“I’ll explain back home.” The ginger said before she extended the nachos in Masu’s direction. “Take a hand.” She offered as the demon started at her before swiftly grabbing a handful of chips and cheese sauce.
“So imp is an insult.” Tetsu concluded as he, Itsuka and Masu returned from the cinema.
“Pretty much.” Masu explained.
“Sorry, we didn’t know. Is there a way to make it up to you?” Itsuka and Tetsu asked in unison, genuinely being sincere.
Que Masu kicking the angelic couple out of the two person bedroom, forcing them onto the couch.
“….What an asshole.” The ginger grumbled as Tetsu pulled out a lot of blankets.
“Let’s just go to sleep. Maybe we can trick him out of the room tomorrow.” Tetsu grumbled while wrapping him and Itsuka in blankets. “Night baby.”
“Night daddy.” Itsuka said back before kissing him on the lips, enjoying his flustered face.
They then spend the next hour falling off the couch until after 13 times, Masu came out of the bedroom.
“*sigh* Fine, you morons can have the real bed.” He growled as they switched sleeping arrangements.
“Look at that, our little demon might have a good bone in his body.” Itsuka jokes, only for Masu to look at her unimpressed.
“The nachos were good enough so we’re even now…So hurry up before I change my mind.” The demon grumbled as all of a sudden, the angel couple was gone in a flash.
Notes:
Foreskinsmoothie posted another chapter of his TetsuXItsukaXMustard story. That got me thinking that I wanted to make a story with that pairing too…then I remembered this.
Imp is kinda like the N-word for Masu.
Mineta and Kaminari woke up in the sewers, thinking everything was a dream.
Since Angels have powers but Demons don’t, the latter uses magic (which was seen as demonic). So Mustard has a spell book with all the spells being the league’s quirks. The names are just the quirk’s owner’s name backwards.
Masu is a bit of a tsundere.

So I recently went through all my ongoing stories to see which ones I wanted to work on again. Unfortunately, this one didn’t make the cut.
The story had a good concept and did something with a trio of characters that I wanted to pair up once. But besides that, it suffered a lot from me having a lot of other stories that did similar things but better.
Maybe I’ll do a one shot with these three one day but as for this, I unfortunately have to discontinue it.
