Chapter 1: 0.
Chapter Text
Prologue
Ursula Malfoy loved traveling.
As a child, she would often visit other countries with her parents - whether for leisure or business that her father had to concern himself with - and later when her younger brother, Draco, was old enough he too would join them. Her family ended up traveling so often that by the time she was about ready to graduate from Hogwarts in 1991, her world map had five countries and two continents crossed off. Ursula knew that she was lucky and fortunate enough to have done so much traveling at such an early age, and she would be eternally grateful for being able to afford such opportunities due to her family's status and wealth. It was why during her Spring vacation she had sat down with her family to inform them about her plans for after graduation.
While she knew that her parents may be furious with her choice, Ursula didn't quite care. She knew that times were changing, Ursula could feel it in the air.

Chapter Text
"Magic is all around us. It's embedded in the very earth - surrounds us in the air we breathe.
It's why giving back to mother magick is important, to show that we appreciate the gifts that she has bestowed upon us." - Ursula Malfoy
Chapter 3: Chapter I.
Notes:
This crossover is a Harry Potter x Twilight fanfiction. It is also a Jasper Hale / Original Female Character story as well. Where the main OC happens to be the eldest child of the Malfoys and a witch. At least before she is turned into a cold one! vampire. The other pairings will be slightly jumbled around a little bit. Bella is still going to be Edwards 𝒷𝓁𝑜𝑜𝒹 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓇, but not his mate. However, they will still end up dating during the first events of Twilight, due to being infatuated with one another. But once New Moon rolls around, Bella has grown a bit of a backbone and doesn't accept him back after the Cullens move back to Forks. And it is discovered that Bella is really Alice's true mate, and Angela is Edward's.
Also, in terms of the timeline of events they will jump around a fair bit in order to give more of a backstory to my character. But when I do that, the events that take place in the past will be written in italics and have the place and year written above the paragraph.
Chapter Text
Malfoy Manor; Spring of 1991
Sitting across from my family, I fidgeted slightly with the hem of my shirt's sleeve feeling nervous under the scrutinizing gaze of my father and the curious looks from my mother and younger brother. I tried to ignore the pressing stares by staring at the wall across from me.
"Tell me, daughter, what is it that you wanted to discuss with us that was so urgent hmn?" Father was the first one out of all of us to break the silence, and when he did, I let out a small sigh and turned to look at him.
"Since I'm on track to graduate from Hogwarts this upcoming semester, I've decided to put a lot of thought into what I want to do after. And," biting down on my bottom lip, I stilled both of my hands before putting them on my lap and grasped the skirt of my dress into a tight hold. "I was thinking that instead of being contracted into a courtship right away or working for the Ministry, I could do some traveling first.”
"Traveling? Really Ursula, do you know what type of a bind that would put us in?" Mother snipped, a cross expression taking over her aristocratic face and making her look like she has smelled something completely foul. "We already have a few heads of houses asking for betrothal contracts!"
I lowered my eyes to the ground with my shoulder slumped. I knew that it was pointless asking. But at least I did what was the harm? All it meant was that I would become a broodmare to some stuffy pureblood heir much sooner than predicted.
"Narcissa," My father's voice drawled out suddenly a seldom hint of annoyance peeking through. "Perhaps it's not such a bad idea. It would exhaust any type of wanderlust that she has, so that way Ursula could later focus on her duties as a wife without distraction."
A small gasp left my lips, and when I raised my head again I found myself staring at father in disbelief, my eyes widening just a fraction and the carefully constructed mask I normally wore faltering ever so slightly. As I stared at him, I noticed that the sides of father's mouth turned up right into a small smirk and I barely caught the small hint of a wink that he sent my way before his face became neutral again.
I bit the inside of my cheek to hold back from grinning like a loon. It would seem that for once father was on my side.
"Really, father?" I asked, so that way I could be certain I hadn't been imagining things. "you truly mean that?"
He nodded. "Of course, however," at this he folded his arms over his chest and his eyes narrowed. "you will return home in a year and go through the courtship process with the best match of your mother and I's choosing."
Looking from him to mother, I noticed the anger in her eyes and the downward turn of her lips. She was clearly not happy hearing this. I could understand why as well. As a pureblood who was raised in a traditionalist household, my mother married my father almost right away once graduated from Hogwarts after going through a proper courtship with him during her sixth year, and his seventh year. Then they were at the height of the war and she practically had zero freedom to be able to do anything outside of the manor, without being targeted by Aurors. And while she may be angry at me, I know that it's really just her worrying about me and my safety.
Looking back over at father, my lips turning upward into a grateful smile I nod in his direction. "I understand, father," I said while straightening my back to look tall and proud. "Thank you for this opportunity."

A few months later, I found myself graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with Outstanding Expectations in nearly all of my classes. It brought me a great sense of joy and sorrow. Sorrow since I will be leaving the place I thought of as home for the last seven years. And joy because I get to travel and excitement because for some reason, the last few months I've had a gut feeling that something unexplainable, yet magical and absolutely wonderful will happen to me on my ventures.
Putting the last of things in my trunk I close it with a satisfying click, before taking one last moment to gaze around my old dorm room in Ravenclaw tower. Memories filling my head while phantoms of the past surrounded me.
"We will still keep in touch with one another won't we?"
Turning my body to an angle so that way I would be able to look at the other four girls, I smiled at them. Each of them was standing at the end of their own beds, their tunks laid upon the mattress closed and packed much like my own.
"Of course," I lie in a sweet-sounding voice. "We only graduated. Why should that stop us from still being friends?" But each of us knew that it was because of the fact we graduated that our friendships have now come to an end. After all, people get busy in their own lives, get distracted, and grow distant.
After all, it's only natural.
Chapter 4: Chapter II.
Chapter Text
Chapter II
A suburb outside of NYC; November 1992
I never should have walked alone by myself that night.
Perhaps if I hadn't, no one would have seen me use magick by pure accident, and then maybe those men wouldn't have attacked me and left me to die. And I would still be alive. Human. Breathing.
But at the same time, if I had remained human, I never would have met him. The love of my immortal life, my mate. Although if everything is predestined like I'm led to believe, maybe we still would have met at a much later point in life. In any case, I'm glad I don't have to wait to have somebody to love, who loves me with a passion that burns just as bright.

Forks, WA; January 2005
"Who are they?"
Walking into the Forks High School cafeteria, my nose crinkled automatically as the plethora of different smells assaulted our noses. Looking over at the so-called 'popular' table I found myself shocked at seeing a new face, despite having already known her much-anticipated arrival for months. Due to the gossipy nature of the nurses at Carlisle's work as well as the interns at the local police department.
Isabella - or rather, Bella Swan the flighty daughter of the Chief Of Police had finally returned back to her hometown.
Hearing a chuckle from behind, I look over my shoulder and raise an eyebrow at my adopted brother Edward in amusement.
"Penny for your thoughts, Edward?" I ask before untangling myself from my husband - Jasper's arm, so that way I could turn around and face Edward as I talked to him while we walked to our table.
He shook his head and ran a hand through his copper hair. "You know you're just as bad as them when it comes to gossip, Usa."
Letting out a scoff, I bring one of my hands and press the tip of my fingers to my chest before batting my eyes playfully. "ME, gossiping? Dear, Edward what do you take me for? A simpleton!"
"The, Cullens." I heard that one girl Lauren Mallory say to Bella in a snide tone. "They're doctor and Mrs.Cullens foster kids."
Smirking, I turn around before gliding up to Alice - who was up ahead in front of me - and link our arms together, before walking a little more quickly to our table in the back of the cafeteria. All the while, keeping an ear on the conversation that the humans were having with the chief of police's daughter.
"They kind of keep to themselves." Another one of the human girls, Angela, said in a much calmer and friendlier tone. "They moved down from Alaska a couple of years ago."
When we reached our table, I pulled out my seat that was next to Emmett's and sat down smiling when my husband sat down next to me. Turning to look at him, I lean forward and began to play with a strand of his curls that was beside his face.
"How are you doing, luv?" I asked, before pressing my forehead against his.
"I'm doing good, but..." Jasper sighed, his cool minty breath fanning my face. "I think we may need to hunt after school."
"I think you may be right with that sentiment." I agree as I felt venom beginning to pool into my mouth when I noticed a girl walking by our table from the corner of my eyes. Swallowing nervously, I close my eyes and press my forehead against his, taking comfort in my mate's presence as I tried to distract the both of us from the rather mouthwatering girl.
As I tried to drown out the noise from the cafeteria, I heard other snippets of the popular kids’ conversation with vague interest.
"The only reason that they keep to themselves, is because most of them are TOGETHER together." Jessica Stanley snipped annoyance lacing her voice. I squeezed my eyes shut when I heard that. I loathed the way people gossiped about my family. And with the way that the rumor mill was at Forks High, it was almost worse than Hogwarts. It made me want to rip out-
"Ursula!"
Hearing Edward's pained voice as he snapped at me, I hesitantly peel myself away from Jasper to turn and look at my brother in all but blood. Guilt immediately washed over me when I saw his horrified expression looking back at me. But then I thought back to what I'd heard of Edward from Carlisle, regarding his younger years as a vampire and I could feel myself bristle slightly.
"Oh, don't be such a hypocrite, Edward," I growled lowly, to where any nearby humans couldn't hear. "At least I've never even tasted human blood unlike you!" I sneered at him before pushing my chair back and standing up, before looking at the rest of my adopted siblings who were looking at me with some apprehension and others worry. "I'm going home. I can't stand to be here any longer right now."
Looking down at Jasper, my harsh expression softens. "You coming with?"
He nods subtly before standing up. "Yeah, I'm right behind ya' darlin'."

A Suburb Outside of NYC; October 1992
It felt like I was burning from the inside out.
The pain that I felt soaring through me was nothing like I had ever felt before. Not even the Cruciatus* curse was as painful as what I was going through now. It was pure, soul-crushing agony. What was strange though, was occasionally as I seemed to slip in and out of consciousness, I could hear voices around me talking. But there was one that I felt oddly drawn to.
"I'm sorry Jasper, but you know there is nothing that can be done to help relieve the pain." A different voice said, in a more fatherly tone.
Jasper. I like that name.
"She's thinking about you, Jasper." Another voice that sounded more snotty, informed the southern man. "She likes your name."
Slipping out of consciousness once more, I welcomed the darkness in hopes of being able to escape the state of pain I was in. Instead of relief though, I found that my senses were much stronger than they should be.

Chapter 5: Author's Note
Chapter Text
UPDATE: Hi all, sadly this is not an update. I'm sorry if the notification made you all excited. This is just to inform you that it may be a while until I can update this story and any others of mine. The reason why, is due to the fact that the main laptop that I use to write stories, has decided to stop working (i.e the fan's life quit on me). And it will be a good moment until I can get it fixed since I am going to be moving in a month and need to save my funds until then.
