It was the 17th of April, on which Apollo arrived early to the offices at 12:13.
Trucy: Hey Apollo! You're actually early for once! We should celebrate!
Apollo: Yeah yeah I know it's just that Phoenix texted me late into the night about a new case which I had to get on while he is Germany.
Trucy: Did he tell you when he would be back yet?
Apollo: Nope, but he did say that new attorney would be arriving soon and she would be helping me with the case.
Trucy: I'd like to come meet our newest member but, I made plans with my friend Jinxie to go see the festival at Nine-Tails Vale and i don't want to break a promise.
Apollo: Funny you mention that, the murder actually took place there. So we would both be there anyway, and the festival is probably cancelled due to the murder anyway.
Trucy: Oh gosh! Who Died?
Apollo: His name was Rex Kyubi, Phoenix told me that the suspect was in a meeting with him at the estimated time of death.
Trucy: I remember Jinxie telling me that her father was meeting with him! So her dad must be the suspect then. I hope Jinxie can handle herself
Apollo: Enough chit-chat, lets get going.
Apollo and Trucy head to Nine-Tails Vale and arrive about 1:03.
Trucy: You can go ahead to the murder scene and I'll try to find Jinxie to find out what she knows and to help her if she needs some.
Apollo: Ok then, the murder scene is at the manor if you need to get me for something.
Trucy: Y'know that's probably where Jinxie is so I'll stick with you for now.
Meanwhile the new attorney, Athena Cykes arrives at Nine-Tails Vale to investigate the crime scene.
Athena (Thinking): This is it! My first ever case! Athena squeals in excitement.
Officer: Hey! No kids allowed near the crime scene, Go back to your parents!
Athena: Kid?! I'm 18, and the lawyer for this case!
Officer: Good joke kiddo, but you really should get going back to your parents you don't wanna see what happened.
Athena: I'M NOT A CHILD! See this Badge? This shows that I'm a fucking lawyer!
Athena grabs the officer and throws him with shocking strength. Unluckily for apollo, he was walking directly inline with the officer's trajectory, causing Trucy to almost die for laughter.
Trucy, trying her best to speak while laughing: Apollo are you ok?
Apollo, after pushing the officer off of himself: Nothing feels broken which is good.
Athena: Oh god I am so sorry sir I should probably have looked before throwing them!
Apollo: Before?! How about you don't throw people in general?!
Athena: Sheesh! No need to get so pissy about it! Also I'm looking for someone called Apollo Justice? Really on the nose for some who is a attorney.
Apollo: That's me.
Athena: Oh. Anyway I'm Athena Cykes the new lawyer Phoenix hired! Now who's that? She says as she points towards Trucy who was slightly blushing and looking away. Is she socially awkward or something?
Trucy, Interjecting before Apollo could get a word in: Hi, I'm Trucy Wright daughter of Phoenix! Sorry about all the blushing, I was uhh embarrassed by that entire situation to get a word in!
Athena: Nice to meet you Trucy! Phoenix has said a lot about you when we talked! She said as she was shaking Trucy's hand.
Apollo: And I'm as mentioned earlier, Apollo Justice. You do you pretty young for a lawyer.
Athena: My dream has always been to be a lawyer, so I started learning young and just last year graduated from law school and obtained by attorney's badge!
Apollo: Great! Enough chit-chat let's head inside and find the crime scene.
