Teyvat Academy(TA) was a school that specialized in elemental ‘quirks’. The school is named after the island where it is located. The only people allowed on The Island are elemental ‘quirk’ users and quirkless people. No heroes other than the ones that graduated from TA are allowed to operate on the island.
TA works exclusively with the World Heros Association and the World government. TA is supposedly the most strict and dangerous ‘hero’ school at the moment, they send their students on official missions before they’re even halfway through their first year and once they reach their second year they are allowed to start solo missions. For this reason, most heroes schools have a particular hatred for TA, especially UA.
UA has been said to throw shade towards TA and that the two schools have some serious bad blood, which the public sees as just some friendly rivalry(it’s very passive-aggressive). TA does not like UA and UA loathes TA.
NIngguang was bored, and UA was pushing her buttons a little too much, so she decided to send them a student with the ‘weakest’ element to see if they could teach him something. What fools they were to think they could outdo TA? They should have known that a ‘weak’ elemental ‘quirk’ doesn’t exist, especially since they’re so rare not to mention they weren’t just sending any anemo user but the anemo Archon.
Visions are gifts from Teyvats Archons; however, they are registered as quirks because the world can’t handle the thought of having more than one power system at play and their quirks are inferior.
Everyone at TA is human, more or less. People like Yae Miko, Gorou, QiQi, Itto, etc basically have metaphoric quirks that literally have nothing to do with their actual ‘quirk’ kinda like mina and how she has horns and pink skin despite her quirk being acid and there being literally no correlation.
The 7 Archons at TA are not the same as the ones that Teyvat believes in. Archons at TA are prodigies when it comes to their specific element and are believed to be the archons' human reincarnate as they don’t need visions and can naturally pull at the elemental energy around them.
