Chapter 1: Found
Chapter Text
Itachi smirked down at the girl in front of him. His fingers traced her jaw and neck lightly. “You grew up beautifully, Tekubi.” Tekubi was not her real name, but he took to calling her that since the day he kidnapped her. The day he killed the whole village. Tekubi means “Doll” in Japanese. “Itachi… what happens now?” She asked, a bit scared. If he wasn’t afraid to kill his own family, surely he wasn’t afraid to kill a girl that his little brother had a crush on years ago. “Sasuke is coming after me. When he does, I will die. He will find you and you’ll be keeping the Uchiha bloodline going.” Itachi said, making her face heat up a bit, realizing what he was saying. “But, Itachi-!” Itachi put his hand up, silencing her. “That’s enough… Eat, then go to bed, my Tekubi.” Itachi then walked out, closing and locking the door behind him. He always treated her like a little girl. He taught her many skills, but also kept her in line. He almost treated her like a little sister.
She sighed and got herself something to eat, before she did her nightly routine. She then went to bed, going to sleep. The next day, she was doing her daily chores. It was like she lived in her very own apartment. She always kept it nice and clean. Once she had cleaned her home, she would practice simple skills that Itachi had taught her. He was like her teacher to her as well, making her strong. Of course, he didn’t want a weak little girl to be with his brother. She had to be strong, smart, and obedient to a point. She jumped a little as she felt the room shake violently. She got under the table quickly, to keep herself safe. Loud banging and yelling was coming from outside. She closed her eyes and covered her ears, curling into herself. She stayed like that, even when everything had gone quiet. She loosened her hands from over her ears, listening for any kind of movement. It was quiet, until her door flew open with a loud bang.
She flinched and closed her eyes even tighter, as if that would help anything. She screamed as the table was flipped off of her. She shook in fear, waiting to be hit or killed, or something. But, after so long of nothing happening, she slowly opened her eyes, looking up at the figure that had burst her door down and destroyed her table. Her eyes went wide as she saw the man’s face. He was looking down at her in complete shock. She slowly stood up, looking him over. “Sasuke…” She said in a whisper. She almost thought she was dreaming. Sasuke only stood there for a few moments, before he grabbed her upper arm and pulled her out of the place. Once they got outside, she saw Itachi’s body. He didn’t lie, he really did die at the hands of his little brother. “Sasuke, where are we going?” She asked, barely able to keep up with him. He didn’t answer her, he just kept pulling her along like she was some kind of rag doll.
Hours have passed, it was getting dark at this point. Sasuke stopped walking and slowly let go of her arm. He pulled his bag off his shoulder and handed it to her. “We are stopping for the night. You can use my sleeping bag. We will leave in the morning.” He said, before he walked away, gathering sticks for a fire. She watched him quietly for a moment, before she set up a spot for her to sleep. Sasuke made a fire and got them some fish. He cooked the fish before handing one to her. He then ate his own while she ate hers. Sasuke wouldn’t even look at her as he ate in silence. Once she was done eating, she didn’t try to force him to look at her or even talk to her. She simply went to sleep in the sleeping bag that she set up. Once he was sure she was asleep, he watched her quietly. He couldn’t keep her eyes off of her. He couldn’t believe she was alive. He couldn’t believe how beautiful she grew up to be. It was like he fell in love all over again.
The next morning, she woke up to Sasuke talking to someone close by. He had whitish gray hair and one eye was covered. She got up and put everything into Sasuke’s bag. She then fixed her hair, before stretching. “So… who is that girl?” Kakashi asked, watching her. “Her name is (Y/N)… She is from my village. I don’t know why, but my brother had her.” Sasuke replied, watching her as well. “Well, I can take her into custody, see what they decide to do with her.” Kakashi suggested. “No… I will not be separated from her again. She’s mine.” Sasuke replied, clearly being protective of the girl. For so long, he thought she was dead, but now that she is here, breathing, he couldn’t stand the thought of being separated again. “So, Sakura isn’t the one then?” Kakashi asked him. Sasuke looked at him. “Sakura has always been a close friend to me. She is only a close friend to me, because we were on the same team. But, no one can replace (Y/N).”
Kakashi closed his eyes and Sasuke swore he saw him smile under his mask. “If that is what you want, I’ll make sure she is unbothered as you bring her home. I’m just glad you are coming home. Hopefully Sakura doesn’t take this too hard. I’ll see you at the village.” Kakashi then left. (Y/N) slowly walked over with Sasuke’s bag in hand. “Who was that?” She asked, a bit curious of who the man was. Sasuke took the bag from her, putting it on his back. “Kakashi sensei… well he is more like a friend than a teacher now.” Sasuke replied, as he continued walking. She walked beside him, her eyes on the dirt path in front of them. “Sasuke… will you tell me where we are going now?” She asked, not looking at him. Sasuke stopped walking and turned towards her. His hands gripped her upper arms again, making her look up at him, a bit surprised. “I’ll answer you, if you tell me why Itachi kept you alive. Why did he have you in his hideout?”
She let out a small breath, his face was so close to her own, making her cheeks turn red. “W-well… At first I had no clue. He took care of me until he taught me how to take care of myself. Then, he taught me how to fight and do certain things in case I ever got captured. Then… the day before you killed him, he told me that this was going to happen. He told me that I will be continuing the Uchiha bloodline. I… I think he kept me for you, Sasuke.” Sasuke’s eyes went wide at the last part of what she said, ‘I think he kept me for you, Sasuke’. He slowly let go of her arms and turned away from her, continuing to walk in the same direction as before. “We are going home, to the village hidden in the leaves. You will be staying with me.” He replied, as he walked. (Y/N) couldn’t help but smile a bit as she quickly followed after him. She was afraid he was going to abandon her, but instead it made it clear to him that he had to keep her close.
Chapter 2: Home
Chapter Text
Is this what he called home? A one room apartment. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what she was used to. There was only one bed, though it was big enough for the both of them. Sasuke put his bag in his closet, letting her look around. The kitchen was small, but still nice. The table was also small, she guessed he was used to being alone in a small space. It wasn’t bad at all though. She loved the balcony doors that let in natural light. She never had that before, at least as far as she remembered. Sasuke turned to her once she seemed to have gotten a good look around his small home. “Come, you need new clothes and I have people to see.” He motioned for her to follow him to the door. She followed him obediently, not wanting to be alone in a strange place at the moment anyways. He led her out and started walking through the village. She smiled brightly as there were many kids running around, playing.
That smile, Sasuke couldn’t help but stare at it. The two of them stopped suddenly when they heard Sasuke’s name being called. “Sasuke! You’re home! Uh, who is that?” The blonde boy asked as he stopped in front of the two. “Naruto… Don’t worry about her, she’s staying with me.” The girl huffed at Sasuke. “You’re the same as ever, Sasuke. Hi, I’m (Y/N). I’ll be staying with Sasuke. I’ve heard all about you from Itachi.” She took his hand, shaking it happily. Naruto’s face heated up a bit when she grabbed his hand, making Sasuke roll his eyes. “Itachi? You were with his brother? Does this mean-?” Naruto was interrupted by Sasuke. “He’s dead, I killed him.” Naruto nods and lets go of her hand. “Sasuke-kun~!” A pink haired girl yelled as she ran up to him, before engulfing Sasuke in a tight hug. (Y/N)’s eyes went wide as she saw this. Sasuke didn’t move to hug her back or push her off. He just stood there, letting her hug him.
She has never seen Sasuke as a hugger, so it was shocking to see him allowing her to hug him like that. “You’re home! I’m so happy- Oh… Sasuke, who is that girl?” Sakura asked, moving back away from Sasuke, looking the new girl over. All three pairs of eyes went wide as Sasuke wrapped an arm around the girl's lower back, pulling her close to his side. “This is (Y/N), she’s staying with me.” He replied, keeping his arm around her. “S-Sasuke… are you okay?” (Y/N) asked, shocked that the man, who doesn’t like physical contact, had his arm around her. He simply ignored her question. “We have to go, she needs new clothes.” Was all he said, before walking past his two friends, pulling the girl with him. “That was weird…” Naruto finally said, rubbing the back of his neck. He then saw Sakura’s shoulders shaking a bit. “Uh Sakura?” He went to put his hand on her shoulder, but she quickly ran off, running home.
Sasuke removed his arm from around (Y/N) once they were close to the store. “Who was that?” She finally asked, getting to the store doors. “She’s a friend. Here, buy whatever you want. I’ll wait out here.” Sasuke replied, handing her his wallet, opening the door, and rushing her inside. He then closed the door behind her and stood close by the doors, leaning against the wall. He didn’t want to watch her buy such personal things for herself. He has a lot of money from all the S ranked missions he’s done over the years. The girl’s eyes went wide at all the clothes that she could buy. She didn’t mind shopping by herself, even though she hasn’t done that for herself in a long time. She tried on some clothes and got some personal items that she needed. Once she was done shopping, Sasuke took her bags, leading her back to his house, setting her stuff on the table. “Half of the drawers and closet is yours. I’ll be back soon.” He said before heading out of the door.
Before he could leave, she grabbed his hand, making him freeze in the doorway. “Sasuke… Why are you acting so strangely? You were so cold to that girl, you let me spend your money, you are even letting me stay with you. Why?” She asked, confused about what was going on. Sasuke turned to her, he slowly grabbed her wrists, pulling her into his arms. He wrapped one arm around her waist and put his other hand behind her head. She leaned into him, closing her eyes as she felt safe there. “What I do is only for you… my Yome.” Her eyes went wide, no one has ever called her that before. He slowly pulled away from her. “Stay here, I have to talk to someone important, I’ll be back.” With that, he left. The word Yome played in her mind over and over again as she started reorganizing the drawers and closet for her own clothes. Yome means Wifey or Bride. She never expected Sasuke to call her that, especially since he’s pretty bad at showing how he feels.
While Sasuke was gone, (Y/N) cleaned up the apartment and made dinner. Sasuke didn’t have much food, but she was still able to make something really nice for the both of them. By the time Sasuke came home, she had fallen asleep at the table. He was a bit surprised to see the food on the table. He didn’t expect her to cook or to wait up for him, or at least try to. He couldn’t help, but smile softly as he sat down at the table, gently waking her up. She stretched a little and rubbed her eyes sleepily. “Sasuke… You’re home.” She gave him a sleepy smile. ”I am, you didn’t have to do all of this.” He said, looking at the food. “I wanted to.” She said happily, eating with him. He looked around from his seat as he ate, seeing that the apartment was cleaner than he remembered it being. Of course his house wasn’t a disaster area, but he could tell everything was wiped down and the floors were swept and mopped. He didn’t mind though, it looked nice.
After eating, Sasuke went into his bathroom to get ready for bed. (Y/N) cleaned the dishes and put the extra food in the fridge. Sasuke came out of his bathroom with his hair damp and he had a towel around him. When she saw him, her face heated up. “The shower is yours.” Sasuke said, going over to the closet. She quickly gathered her night clothes from the drawers and went into the bathroom. She took her time as she took a hot shower that she needed. Once she was done, she got dressed in a black silky nightgown. She looked at herself in the mirror and huffed at herself. ‘What if he thinks I’m trying to seduce him? I should have grabbed pajama pants and a tank top from the drawers…’ She sighed at herself. She slowly got the courage to walk out of the bathroom. Sasuke was already in bed, he looked like he was already asleep. She sighed in relief and got in the empty spot on the bed.
Once she was laying down, she felt a strong arm wrap around her and pull her close. Her back was pressed against Sasuke’s front. She could feel he was only wearing pajama pants. Her face turned red, but she didn’t move. Sasuke found one of her hands and held it softly. “Don’t worry, I won't be doing anything to you unless you ask me to.” He muttered into her ear. His voice was so husky at that moment, which was a huge turn on. But, she was also very shy since she’s never been this close to a man before, not even Itachi. She was tense and Sasuke could feel it, so he gently rubbed her hand. “Goodnight, Yome.” he muttered softly. She relaxed a bit and the two fell asleep.
