Work Text:
Jo kept getting nagged by their youngest, for some reason his eyes fixed on him ever since they debuted together preparing their first album together.
Outside of that, everyday life living in the building dorms, Day by day, month by month.
Every little thing, unhealthy or not looked wrong in Maki’s eyes, it eventually bothered Jo enough to complain.
Barking puppy.
In the evening, Jo wanted to listen another song in his earbuds in dining room while the others did their own thing, yet Maki wasn’t having it.
“You shouldn’t go to bed too late-“
Jo pressed pause on his music. “You care too much, let me be. I never seen you bothering the others.” Jo finally let out his deepest emtions but not intentionally meaning to hurt Maki.
“Okay.” Maki’s face struck by his comment but held it togehter in front of him and left.

The next day, Jo woke up to notice Maki never came to his shared dorm with Yuma.
He quickly gets up from his bottom bunk curiosity lingering in his mind enough.
He opened his door to find Maki leaving Nicholas dorm then awkardly passed his without noticing him.
He reached back of his pajamia shirt. “Hey, about yesterday-“
“Oh morning Jo, don’t worry I won’t nag you.” Maki laughed uncomfortably as he broke free and went to Harua’s dorm next.
That’s when Jo realized Maki cared about him the most the others didn’t care to notice his habits like Maki did.
He then remembered Maki’s senstive just like he is, able to cry in front of others easily..
Simple words won’t seem to register for their youngest.
Jo caught Maki by supsirse by bending down a bit to hug his backside.
“Jo-?!” Maki stopped in his tracks.
“Sorry, Maki kun. I shouldn’t have turned your worries away. Don’t tell your family on me in German, I’ll wondering all sorts of things.”
“I already did.”
Jo lets him go. “Wait, like what?”
“It’s in German, sooo-“
“I’m older than you, by that you need to translate for me, say it already.” Jo pressed him with a curious grin.
Maki shook his head.
“Fine…I’ll assume the worst and tell that to others when they wake up.” Jo. speaks queitly.
“Hold on-!”
