“You know what I'd like, Belos? I’d like to leave the Emperor's Coven and never step foot in that throne room again, I’d like to study wild magic and learn how to carve palismen, I’d like to attend Hexside as a regular student and play flyer derby with my friends. But most of all, I’d like to make sure you never hurt anyone again!” And then I threw the Titan’s Blood into the lake, “No!” he jumped, then coldness and darkness engulfed me.
—
Cold. I am cold. The darkness fades ever so slightly as a light shines in front of me, I see figures. Is that… Me? No, Caleb. And… Evelyn? The Golden Guards? Huh, it’s weird to see all of you. You look spirity, like ghosts. Am I a ghost? I spot another figure, this time it’s small and red. Flapjack? No, no this isn’t right, he can't be doing this, he can’t be here. He comes closer, and I feel warmer. He tweets, tells me it’s alright. I just hug him harder, he hugs me back. We end up in a field on a warm sunny day just… enjoying it. Light goes through my soul, and I feel him fade away. I get a bittersweet feeling, I know he’ll be here, but I’ll still miss him. I don’t know what to say except: thank you, Flap, for everything. I open my eyes and he’s gone.

“Hey guys, is everyone okay?” I ask, “Actually, Flapjack…” “Don’t, don’t,” I said,
“I already know.”
