Chapter Text
The moon was shining brightly in the night sky as a group of people walked through the forest with lanterns and shotguns in holsters on their backs. They were told that a creature lived in the woods and were sent to hunt it down. Although one of them was there for another reason.
Loki was in disguise as one of the hunters to look for his beloved, who had the ability to shapeshift, and bring her back home. They all heard the roar and flinched. One of them saw her run through the trees but something caught Loki's eye.
They separated and tracked her down on their own but Loki was lucky enough to follow her with green and gold ribbons connecting him to her. He found her drinking from the stream and noticed a red gem between her shoulder blades. She slowly lifted her head and turned in his direction.
"Easy, my love." He said slowly raising his hands to show that he wasn't a threat "You know me. I'm here to bring you home." She walked closer to him and sniffed his hands.
"Help me, please." She told him telepathically "This gem brings out a person's animalistic side and it hurts."
"I'll help you but I need to get you out of here first." She nodded and played dead. He made a litter and carried her towards the SUV he borrowed from Hill. The others caught up to him and congratulated him. The hostess saw through the ruse and he took them out while she took out the hostess.
He removed the gem, which was called the Bloodstone, using magic and sealed it in a container. She got into the backseat and immediately fell asleep as he drove away. He looked in the rearview mirror to see her sleeping and smiled.
Just like a big puppy he playfully thought. He pulled into the driveway and carried her inside to their room so she had a comfy bed to sleep in.
