Every godling knows when they turn 100, they guide a warrior chosen by the fates into a hero. It’s a rite of passage they start training for at 50. What the godlings don’t know is their warriors are chosen before their conception.

The fates, two brothers called All for One and One for All, have been feuding for the last 3000 years. It’s a consistent struggle to see who could make the best heroes. They divided their people in two, creating two separate parts of heaven.

The Midoriya god family had been under the rule of One for All for a very long time. One for All sponsored the original Midoriya with authority over plants and animals. Every god and goddess born into the Midoriya family has had this power since.
