Saved My Team From A Lynel! Now I'm Cool and... Oh.

Summary:

Being one of the few expeditions to explore the enigmatic Depths, you've helped the team by leaps and bounds simply by refusing to let the darkness frighten you. But when your group notices a Lynel after the lightroots slowly start lighting up, you decide that the research should go on no matter what. So with a spear in hand you rush forward, and meet the Lynel dead on.

In Hyrule, courage needs no remembering, and strength lies therein. And you'll show the proof of that.

Notes:

I can't be the only one who thinks Lynels are dead sexy. Muscly, check, don't attack right away? Ok that there's a winner. Maybe he just wants to kiss me or something. Don't forget to present your ass, maybe you'll get lucky.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

"Hey, you sure you can handle this?" You pick your head up from the charts, the lead researcher approaching with twitching ears. "This'll be your first expedition in the Depths, you know."

"Huh? Oh, yea." You gesture towards the lights. "We'll have plenty of those. In no time flat we'll surely have the mystery of the roots down there figured out. Maybe we'll even find one of the dragons down there... Now that I think about it, it's highly unlikely, but the endless discoveries we can make is enough reason to not be afraid of the dark!" With a big smile you tighten steel-toed boots as well as your halberd's scabbard.

You don't fight much, but you can lift a weapon just fine - all everyone hopes for is that they don't have to reach for their own.

"Right, right. We've got things up top, you all just worry about coming back in one piece." He reaches and fists your shoulder. "Like I said, don't feel bad about leaving the research behind if you get overwhelmed - we don't need any more Hylian lives lost for the sake of understanding the Upheaval."

It's a lofty ambition nowadays, to sort out the facts of the apocalypse without anyone dying along the way. After all, that's how he lost his brother, how you lost your father - and many more relatives of many people across Hyrule. Heck, even the Gerudo might be having a better time, despite the new sandstorm. Next thing you know you'll be out that way trying to help them sort out that mess, if it turns out you're strong of arm.

After all, the Gerudo have always favored strong women.

"I'll do my best anyway," You mention. "Link may be back with us, but don't think we won't pull our weight too. I plan to help this expedition - and maybe him too - the best I can."

A soft relieved sigh, and he gives you a smile. "Yea, I should expect as much from you. If you're anything like your dad, this'll be over in a flash."

"Thank you." You look towards the crew, shakily preparing themselves for the dive. "... Would you please excuse me? They need a bit of cheering up."

"Of course. Good luck, my friend - may Hylia be with you."

The descent into the Depths is lonely and anxious, as though the gaping void is prepared to swallow the unsuspecting whole. But none have such outlandish nightmares; Calamity Ganon could never touch the depth of one's dreams that way. That and you lot are wiser than to let simple tricks of the mind steer you away from your pursuit of the truth. After all, if not the lot of you and everyone else fighting hard in Hyrule... then who?

"Alright!"

Facing your crew you put your hands on your hips, swallowing hard as the terrified team picks their heads up.

"Now as you all well know, the Depths are a mystery to even the Sheikah, and we know not what lurks within. But all the same, we must solve this mystery, so then our research shall help bring peace back to Hyrule!" You pump your fist. "With this in mind, do not fear for the camp and papers - our research's true storage is within us. So, if you all feel the darkness creeping in, then we shall return with our lives, and live to learn another day!"

"B-but..." One researcher trembles, spindly legs buckling under the pressure. "How are you... so sure...?"

You smile. "Because I believe in you all."

"... Oh, for the love of Hylia, how can we deny that much spirit?" Another researcher huffs, wrinkled face crinkling with a flare of his nostrils. "Well then. With a girl like you around, we'll be just perfectly fine... You'd better live by what you're preaching, though!"

A swallow along a touch of your halberd. "Don't you worry, Mr. Palvo, I will."

After what could be another hundred years, the lift reaches the bottom, and in telegraphed motions you lot activate the lights hanging from your belts. With a gleaming lightroot in the distance, there's a chance this'll be peaceful. All the same, the more buff researchers ready their weaponry, the more vulnerable pushed to the middle. Even you, someone who has never fought anything aside from training dummies, have enough faith that you'll be able to protect the crew.

"W-w-we can go back now, right?" Augh...

"Oh, blast it, boy!" Palvo hisses. "You should've run home BEFORE we came down here! Researchers should have spine! Was it not you who said you wished to vie for Purah's hand?!"

"Shhh..." You put a finger to your lips. "We don't know where there'll be monsters. If we make it to the lightroot, we'll be safe to conduct our research." There's little you can do to wrangle this group, being one not very used to being strict when the older folk are somewhat unhinged themselves. "Remember, cut the lamps when there are monsters nearby - and if skeletons pop by, aim for the head."

"Who made you a leader..." Palvo grumbles, but obediently trails not far behind. "And also remember, stay away from the Malice, girl! You may like to act like a knight or something, but once it touches you you're done for!"

I keep forgetting... You don't let it show, but your embarrassment tints your cheeks, leaving only the lantern guiding the way to keep you sane. Luckily for everyone that's where the bickering ends, and the lot of you continue traveling in silence. Every now and then you glance around, double-taking anytime you see a light a bit too bright in the distance. Sometimes it is just a trick of what little light you get down here, other times it's... something else.

Like an answer to your prayers, the lot of you stand below the lightroot.  Just within the scope of its gleam you begin to set up the research tents, where no monster can dare try and harm you lot. To be honest you wonder consistently if you'll see the entirety of the Depths all lit up at some point during this expedition... Or well, more appropriately, if Link will take the time to light them all considering he alone has the ability to do just that.

What did he say happened in Hyrule Castle again?

When everyone else explains it, it makes no sense. According to Link he and Zelda went down below Hyrule Castle - the reason was never explained actually - and found some dude lying kinda dead. Next thing Link knows that dude wakes up and causes havoc and chaos, Zelda disappears into thin air, and somehow Link himself has a new arm. It's hard to believe to those who just recently start hearing of such misadventures, but for Hyruleans past a certain age... No, not really.

This is the guy that ran through Kakariko once riding a bear on fire, after all.

Putting on your gloves, you get to work, helping set everything up.

...

Wiping some sweat from your brow, you look around at the campsite. It isn't too big, considering there's not many people here for such a thing, so it's perfect. Since there were reports of the Yiga Clan down here as well, it was recommended that groups be reduced and even saw qualifications raised in areas with known sightings. Anyone who knew how to fight and were especially efficient with research were the only ones allowed near known camps/strongholds.

They found a young woman trapped in one just a little while ago. She seemed... disoriented, having been in the darkness too long, and had something strange going on with her body. You shudder to think what could've happened to her; at least she's safe in Kakariko now. If anything you lot should be happy she's talking again, even if it's not much beyond answering a few questions.

"Salka." You address a surveyor looking over a meticulously drawn map. "Has there been any changes in how many lightroots have been lit lately?"

Lifting his goggles, he points towards some freshly drawn circles in the northeast - Akkala. "Yes, up over here. But just one - Akkala is treacherous by nature, above and below."

"Better than no improvements. Hopefully we'll figure out how to light these ourselves, keep the place safe." You reach and pat him on the shoulder, moving onto another tent. Mr. Palvo's grumbling away while looking through his microscope, but t'is his nature. "Palvo? How we doing?"

To your surprise, he meets you with a neutral expression. "The vegetation here's surprisingly not nearly as deadly as I'd have imagined. Would be nice if there were bioluminescent plants to make life easier for us, but we'll make do... Very few of these come close to being poisonous, and even they're not that dangerous so long as you keep your tongue to yourself." Then he harrumphs, sticking his long nose in the air. "And you? Any monsters abound?"

Oh. Good question.

"... Let me check."

With that you stray from the tents a bit, shielding your eyes from the natural lightroot's... well, light. Carefully you look around, scanning every nook and cranny for a crafty monster waiting for some prey to gull. No sign of bones rustling in the ground, not even a Lizalfos giving itself away with the natural sound it makes. Bokoblins aren't the loudest creatures when they're trying to be sneaky, and the sound tends to blend in, which gives them more of an advantage in the wild. Ears wide open you continue looking all the same, dragging a lip between your teeth.

Already, you have the heebie-jeebies. Resisting the instinctive need to hum and keep yourself company, you keep looking, your internal timer already lost to the winds. No moblins, no bokoblins... no nothing-

A roar suddenly shakes the ground, thankfully weak enough to not deafen you. All the same however it thrusts you into alertness, whirling towards the source. It can't possibly be, you would have noticed if it was-!

Emerging from the shadows into a lit clearing of a not so distant other lightroot, a Lynel stomps to and fro. Even from here you can hear it growl and snort in frustration, as if waiting impatiently for a challenge. In a slow creep it turns in your direction, though not seeing you quite yet. Realizing it will see people in time you bite back a shriek, the armor atop its bright white fur engulfed by Malice enough to chill you to the core.

"Cut the lamps, cut the lamps-!" You whisper-yell, retreating back into one of the tents. As the lights hurriedly go out in unison, you watch as the Lynel continues to strut, ears perking.

Grinding your teeth lightly, you reach back and touch your halberd. If it comes too close to the camp, you'll have to be the one to engage, but... It'll be beyond everyone's power to save you the moment you step into the ring. If you die down here, though... Hopefully they'll remember you trying to save them. And as the pace doesn't cease in its proud hooves this nightmare scenario becomes steadily tangible, as though Ganon hears your mind and wishes to test your mettle. If you're really as brave as the team thinks you are, then you need to earn your keep as one who can supposedly fight.

"... Palvo..." You whisper.

"Don't even think about it-!" He hisses under his breath. "That's a Lynel! He'll tear you to shreds!"

"We... We're gonna die..." The skittish researcher from before whimpers. "Ohh... Purah, forgive me... I'm not brave enough to make it back alive..."

Swallowing, your face grows increasingly clammy as you poke out from under the canopy. There's no way that Lynel isn't going to find you lot, given how you just now notice its gaze transfixed on the camp. If you don't do something quick, it's too big a gamble to take with the team's lives...! You have to...

"... Palvo." An odd stillness creeps into your voice. "I'm going to fight it."

"What?!" He utters. "What did I say?! Have you gone mad, girl?!"

"I can give you all time to get away if I give that thing something to hunt," You respond. "The second I take it on, take to the shadows and run right back to the lift. If you can, I'll need help from some soldiers." Your fist clenches. "It may be suicide, but if I have to gamble, I'd rather bet my own life than you all's... If I don't make it out, tell my friends I love them."

Standing up, you brandish your halberd, cold resolution settling in your stomach as warmth returns to your fingertips. You don't have a warrior's spirit - in fact you'd give anything to be able to run away right now - but if you're to protect the team as is your role then you have to pretend you do straight into the grave. Clutching the weapon tightly, you turn to look back at Palvo with a guilty smile.

"Goodbye, Palvo... I always thought you were brilliant," You murmur.

Past the point of no return, you march back into the light and onwards, watching the Lynel take notice of you as you prepare for your final fight. Both of you go still, staring deep into one another's eyes. Its glare meets your resolution, daring you to make the first move. Following an odd twitch of its armor it snorts, drawing its weapons and getting into stance and roaring, demanding that you come forward and entertain it.

"You better come back in one piece..." Palvo's voice fades into the darkness along with the team.

Blinking away tears you had no clue were pouring down your cheeks, you bare your teeth, before readying your weapon. With jaw near-unhinged you let out your own war cry, charging forward as the Lynel does the same. In a blink you thrust, and a sharp 'CLANG!' lights up the darkness along with the sparks coming from the strife. Shaking your head of doubt you strike again, parrying another hit before dodging under another swing. Jumping back you dodge a swing with both sword and shield, a light going off deep inside as you engage in proper combat.

Furrowing your brows you strike at the armor, feeling your halberd shake as it makes a crack. If you keep striking there you'll have a weak point-!

"Agh-!" You shriek, sent tumbling by a deep cut on your cheek. Quickly rolling back onto your feet you parry another strike. Disregarding the blood dripping onto your chest you meet its gaze, matching its ferocity.

What's happening to me?

Before you've realized it you're fighting like a full-fledged warrior, sparks flying off the weaponry as the Lynel growls. Growing increasingly frustrated it quickens its movements, soon retreating from you and getting on all sixes. Snarling it clenches its muscles, and your senses flare as it pushes off.

"Aah-!" Get out of the way!

Just as you think for any moment you're out of its way it manages to grab your ankle, dragging you on the ground. Feeling the cut on your face being ripped along with your clothes you shriek, attempting a twist from its grip. It responds to this by slamming you onto your back, knocking the wind right out of your sails. Chest tight and ribs creaking, your jaw opens wide as you attempt a sucking breath, only managing to escape a stab being lethal by a hair... The other cheek has a good sized slice now.

Convulsing slightly you roll out of the way of another stab, halberd wobbling in your fists as your lungs try and pry themselves open. You can scarcely feel your back, and your legs are getting weaker even with how short this fight is...

"I... ha..." Then the air comes back. "G-ha! I won't let you disrupt our research, you beast!" Showing it your own teeth you're back in the fray, ducking under a swing of both arms and jumping above a combination of swipes.

Gathering your strength, you scream, thrusting as hard as you are able - and at last the Lynel's armor  - and your halberd - shatters like glass. Realizing the futility of your actions along with your strength being sapped until you're back above ground, you clench your fists, raising your head to meet its eyes. Looking down at you it snarls, snapping its head aside to throw away its stone helm. With the both of you disarmed... No, no, it has a bow, but it can end your life even now.

At least I can die... knowing I tried...

Spreading your arms, you close your eyes, prepared to meet the end. With a few deep breaths a calm washes over you, the chill of death slowly creeping in as your acceptance of the afterlife settles into your heart. All it'll take is a quick moment of pain and corruption, and you'll be sent off to the afterlife.

A sound, and then both the Lynel's hands grab either side of your clothes. Eyes flying open you watch as it rips them apart, lifting you up with ease. Limp as a ragdoll you tense, watching its eyes go up and down. It's wondering where to eat you, or where to start cutting you apart first, surely. It won't matter, because you'll still die mercifully during the process, already corroded by the Malice keeping your cheeks wounded.

One hand grips your hips, the other the back of your head, and your mouth opens in protest before it's invaded by a surging tongue.

Pinned tightly to the Lynel's body your hands fly about, your chin dripping with mixed saliva. Before long you're hanging onto its shoulders, confusion pausing any protest as it somehow kisses you harshly. Feeling your mouth being overcome you clench your legs tight together, feeling an odd heat pooling in your hips... Is this some sort of cruel joke, or is it trying to derogate you before killing you-? Somehow - its hand on your head drops to its belt and drops it - you're finding it impossible.

At last you're released, tongue hanging out and keeping you two connected by a string of saliva. Its fingers push your arms under your back and holds them there, leaning you back as it holds you in front of it. Using the other hand it pokes at your moist pussy, watching the increasing pulsations hungrily. Growling, it looks up at you and back down again, before moving so it can spread your legs, thrusting its face in between.

"G-guh!" You let out, an uneven moan shaking your throat as it growls into your wetness. Reaching and grabbing onto its horns you mewl as it licks powerfully up and down your clit. Pushing its tongue inside of you it moves its one hand to stretch across your back, holding you to its face as it claims your insides. Most definitely keeping you as a spoil of victory it uses the other hand to hold your one leg, starting to walk aimlessly.

Eventually it grows unsatisfied, holding you out and turning you upside down. A mighty cock, long and meaty, rests on your face, pulsating eagerly as salty precum dribbles onto your skin. Lifting you it pushes its cock into your mouth, your jaw popping as it pushes its tongue back inside you, wrapping its arms around your waist as it starts galloping. With each pace it thrusts its cock down into your throat. Trembling you suck and lick all you can, legs winding around its neck as it takes you Hylia knows where.

I'm going to...

Every muscle seizes and your heart skips a beat; your legs fly apart and it pushes further inside you. Your orgasm bursts into its mouth, and it graciously lets not a drop escape it, gulping down all your ambrosia as it swells in your mouth. Feeling its balls hit your forehead you squeeze yourself around the cock, tongue pushed into inactivity by the size. Just as you feel like you can't take any more you squeal around it, gulping as it cums too.

Roaring into the darkness it busts once, twice, inside of you. Feeling another one coming you're suddenly pulled off so you can breathe. One final load is blown onto your face, dripping with milky cum as it holds you up. Barely able to register the mine's torches you gulp down any air you're able to get, the Lynel pulling you back into its body for a strange embrace. Soon it stops walking, turning you around and draping you over a thick ledge.

Hanging onto the stone you watch its horse front legs come down either side of your head, something even meatier resting on your back. As it pulsates and twitches you inhale sharply, dragging a lip between your teeth as it slowly slithers down to your wetness. Swallowing you open your legs, feeling it poke at your ass and pussy indecisively. Anything will do, just so long as you're rightfully claimed after a duel ending in a draw... Whatever is wrong with you slips your mind.

Roaring, it pushes inside your pussy, your pleasured screams joining its voice for but a moment. Not wasting any time it starts thrusting, mighty, its pace slower but strong, sending stars in your eyes each time. Strangled moans rip from your throat, pounded down into your cervix. Your body coils and squirms, feeling as though it'll come apart but staying intact just so you can see all this to the end. Feeling that you're right and proper for its cock it roars once more, growling as it quickens its pace.

"A-ah! By Hylia-aaah!" You shriek. "Y-yes!"

Who knew it'd feel this good?

Feeling as though you'll fade into the darkness your moans slowly grow quiet, replaced simply by uneven breaths. Salivating at the roughness of it all you're completely acceptant to it, feeling it twitch inside you as it nails you particularly hard. Unable to reach you with its hands it settles for gripping its body, its other cock awaiting you. Impatient it quickens its pace even more, jackhammering you without mercy.

"Aaah! A-ah! Aaah! F-faa... Aaaa!" You cry out, feeling it slowly reaching towards your stomach. "Ohh, I'm gonna-!"

Your orgasm crashes into you once more. It's a tidal wave, pouring out around the cock and down your naked legs. The moment you're done is when it cums too, shooting loads upon loads of semen into you. Sticky and salty it settles into your womb, sloshing about with a definitive thrust. Reaching down with one hand you rub your slightly swollen stomach, dragging a lip between your teeth. As it pulls out you're able to roll onto your back. Opening your legs wide you meet its lustful gaze as you spread your petals, feeling its cum leaking out.

Feigning shyness you look up at it with a silent plea. Not even hesitating it lifts you right up, holding you to it and kissing you again. This time you grab onto its mane, pushing against its tongue before you lose again, feeling yourself being dominated. Submitting you moan in inexplicable bliss, eyes rolling back as your juices are drunk down.

This time it doesn't let you fall back, holding you by the legs and opening them wide. Pressing its weeping cock against your pussy, it doesn't hesitate in pushing you down on it, snapping up into you ferociously. Mercilessly it pounds inside you, your flesh shaking like jelly with each thrust. With each scream it pushes from you it growls, eventually pulling you in to wrap you in its arms and keep you still. Managing to grip its forearms your head leans back along with your squealing.

"Y-yes!" You cry, the cock nestling in your cervix for just a moment. "M-more!"

As if responding to you it snorts, snapping up into you until it's about pounded its shape into your pussy. Swelling until it gets stuck it unwinds its arms, grabbing your head and shoulder and pulling you into another harsh kiss. With its tongue down your throat it swallows your cries, balling up your [h/c] locks in its powerful fist. At last, with a driving thrust it cums once more, roaring mightily as its semen pours into your body.

"G-aaah... haaa..." You breathe, feeling your belly expand until it hangs, filled to bursting. Still impaled on its cock you're able to breathe, unintelligible emotions surging through your chest. Smiling from ear to ear, you let it hold you to itself, carrying you off...

"Oof-!"

Wiping some sweat from your brow, you watch the Lynel slip and fall off the cliff after a brief maneuver on your part. Not willing to share the details, you brush off your hands, managing to scavenge some extra clothes from the monsters you've found along the way. Taking a quick moment you crack your back, counting to ten, deciding to get moving so as to find either another set of researches or a stable or town entirely.

"Okay... Back to the others for me... Wherever on Hyrule I am."

Meandering through the landscape, you're completely unaware of a black Lynel stalking your moon cast shadow.

Notes:

Whoever dares question me will be hit with more of these fics.
