Chapter 1: gunwook centric

Gunwook pov 

Flashback 

"How old are you" a trainee who sat in front of me asked as he shook my hand 

"18" I answered and then he and the people sitting besides him looks shocked as the other one said that the trainee beside him was 19

I smiled at them and said it was ok for their mistake

They nervously laughed and then more trainees started to show up 

Present time 

"Yujin ah~  did gyuvin give you your lunch box yet! And hurry up or you'll be late to school!!" I heard hao hyung yell from the doorway 

"Yes hyung I'm coming" I saw our maknae rush pass the living room with the rest of our members fussing over him

"Ouch! Alright who pulled my hair" yujin exclaimed angerly 

"Well I wouldn't have to if you Hadn't messed with your hair earlier" Matthew hyung said sarcastically 

"Hey I was jumped by Ricky hyung and taerae hyung, you can't blame me" said maknae pouted 

"Not our fault you look so adorable" 

"I'm handsome hyung, not adorable" 

"Yes you totally are" Ricky hyung sarcastically said 

"Yeah yeah yeah, anyways hurry today is picture day wouldn't want you to miss it huh" hanbin hyung said as he scurried yujin to the door where zhanghao hyung was waiting 

"And remember to smile big" I heard jiwoong hyung shout after him 

"I knowwww" yujin shouted back and then he closed the door 

the rest of the members sans hao hyung and yujin came back into the living room 

"Aigo he looks so cute in his uniform" Matthew gushes 

"I think we styled him nicely" jiwoong hyung said putting an arm on Matthew 

"Of course, im not the fashion person for nothing" Ricky bragged 

We all laughed 

Meanwhile I just stayed on the couch like I was expecting something but I don't know what 

I guess I wanted a turn to be treated like a maknae today since I am a part of the maknae line but I guess I don't look like I am one of the maknaes to them still

Make sense since everyone thought I was a bit older when we first met 

Was wearing leather that day really made me scary and set off the wrong impression, I wondered 

"Well we finally have a break in a while so we are free to do whatever we want for the day" hanbin hyung announced before walking off 

Matthew jumps up and down excitedly "jiwoon hyung and I are gonna take a walk and look at our ads" he exclaimed as he took jiwoong hyung hands and dragged him out the door 

I look as they left the door 

I blinked towards the remaining members 

"Well one maknae to tease is out for the day" I heard taerae spoke but then I saw Ricky smirked towards gyuvin 

"But at least there's a thing called the maknae line" he grinned teasingly 

I frowned, wasn't i next in line, gyuvin is older than me

I saw him look confused "but there's still him" he said pointing towards me 

"Oh yeah that's right, sorry gunwook ah I forgot that you were younger than gyuvin" Ricky hyung apologized 

I shook my head and waved him off "its fine besides I feel like taking a nap anyway" I said as I sat up and went to my room not noticing the worried look they have 

A little later I jolted awake when something got on top of me 

Groaning I opened my eyes and saw hao hyung on top of me beaming "hello sleeping beauty, we have stuff to do today, common" 

I groaned again as I move to my sides facing the wall "noo let me nap some more" I whined a little 

"I see you're still stubborn at this age" I heard him teased "anyway common lets head out for lunch" he said excitedly 

I shook my head "dont feel like it" I mumbles 

He furrows his eyes "why not, oh no are you feeling sick, are you down about something" then he gasped "gunwook ahh please tell me you weren't trying to see if there was any hate comments about you" he questions 

I shook my head "dont feel like doing anything today hyung" I said as I close my eyes again 

"Tsk commonnnn lets go somewhere its our free day" hao hyung begged 

"Then spend some time with hanbin hyung, im suprised he's not here as you two are always together" I joked then I got scared when an arm put itself on my waist 

"Oh no im here wook ah" I heard hanbin jokes 

"How did you get on my bed!?" I questioned confused 

He shrugged "you are a heavy sleeper, and now its time for us to get up, let's go we have something for you" 

With that I got curious and got up to follow him and hao hyung out the room and into the living room where the rest of the hyungs were at 

I blinked towards them confused "whats going on" I ask 

"Well I feel bad about what happened earlier and I wanted to make it up to you" taerae hyung smiles 

"Oh but you really don't have to, i get it" 

"Nonsense, with yujin ah at school, you're the maknae of the day now" Matthew beams 

"And I re-watch boys planet out of boredom and realized everyone treated you like you were one of the hyungs and not one of the maknae especially in the first episode" gyuvin grimace 

"Which wasn't fair because well look at you, you're a big teddy bear" Ricky exclaimed making me be flustered 

"Which is why we are having a gunwook maknae day" jiwoong proudly states 

I didn't realize that I had tears until I sniffled and Matthew hyung hugged me "aigo look at you don't cry hm" he teased 

I laughed 

"Alright cuddle pile on gunwook in 3" hanbin shouted 

Wait what!?

"2!" Ricky continues the countdown 

"One!" They all shouted before tackling me to the ground hugging me, hurts but its nice, I think im gonna enjoy being maknae of the day

But then a few moments later we heard a voice "is this the first cuddle pile, aww I wanted to join" 

We all look over to see yujin pouted and looking soaking wet 

Hao hyung stood up first and went to him in a rush "maknae ah, what are you doing here so early and why are you wet" 

One by one the members got up and rushed to fuss over him leaving me on the floor 

"Well, after I got my pictures taken  I went to the classroom and as we waited for the teacher to come, the pipes started to burst through the ceiling and now I'm wet" he pouted 

"At least you got your pics taken, but our hard work is gone" taerae whined as he continues to mess with yujins hair 

I looked down feeling alone 

I saw yujin look at me and smirk "forget about me, yall didn't include me in the cuddle pile and now I'm heading in wet" he exclaimed 

Wait what, oh no no no no no 

"Yujin ah you're gonna get me wet" I tried to back away 

"Dont care lets be wet together" he said trying to chase me to hug me, I laughed as I ran from him but then I hit a dead end and yujin back hugged me 

I groaned as his cold wet body hits me "you're so collldddd" I whined 

"Then warm me up hyung" he teased as he continued to hug me as I tried to get out of his grip 

I heard a camera go off and saw hanbin hyung Taking a picture of us 

"Aigo look at this guys, our two maknaes" he said showing everyone the picture and all of them smiles at it 

Our two maknaes, I smiled as I heard hanbin hyung say that, it actually feels nice to hear that

I grinned and leaned back a little to whisper to yujin "lets get them" I smirked and he grinned and we look at our Hyungs mischievously 

"Ohhh hyuunngggss" I sing-song 

"Who wants to get weeettt" yujin finished as we started to chase the running hyungs around the dorm with our arms out 

Chapter 2: yuehaz vs zb1

• takes place 2 1/2 years later

~Few weeks before disbanding time

"Alright listen up people, in about a few short weeks our contracts will be up but no worries i have come up with a plan to make sure we stay together" hanbin paces around the room determinedly

"Oh my life- hao hyung can you get your boyfriend to stop hes making me dizzy" taerae said sassily

Hao chuckled and went up to hanbin "look why Don't you tell everyone the plan you been cooking up since boys planet"

"Boys planet!?!?" Everyone shouted in shock

"Wooww hyung you really want to be a permanent group" Ricky teased

"Why am I not suprise, this is my best friend of course you'll do something like this" Matthew laughs

Hanbin teasingly glares at him
"Ok so we have one or two options, one we become a self produced group like some groups did before or two we get signed into a better agency that will let us last long

"So one of the big 4" gunwook questioned

Hanbin shook his head "it doesn't have to be"

Matthew gave hanbin a look "you already figured it out didn't you"

Hanbin sheeply nodded "yep!!" He grins "kq entertainment, they don't have trainees at the moment and they will be willing to take us in as their 3rd group"

"How do you know" jiwoong asked curiously

"Oh I ran into xikers sunbaenims not too long ago and asked about it and see if they can ask their ceo" hanbin grins

Everyone looks at him shock and amazed at his determination

Hanbin nodded "yep so what do you say"

Taerae Laughed "do you even have to ask im in"

And soon enough all the members agree but 4 were a little hesitant but didn't wanna face the wrath of sung hanbin

A few days later the yuehaz of the group went to a Cafe to meet up with their yuehaz friends

"Haooo hyunnggg I missed you soo much" ollie said jumping on him

"Dont mind him, instead of having jet lag he has jet excitement" Brian jokes

Ollie rolled his eyes

"How was your classes ollie" gyuvin asked giving him a hug

"Fine but im glad to be back"

Yunseo laughed "anyway we came with news" he said as the other three starts to bounce with excitement

"What a coincidence so did we" Ricky said

"Ok but us first" seungeon said

Hao nodded letting them speak

Seungeon grins "we are gonna get a reality show" he said as he, yunseo, ollie and Brian puts out their arm

"Oh really the four of you" yujin questions

"No silly the 8 of us, the show will be the starting point before our debut" yunseo teased

The other four smiles falters a little but smiles again

"Oh so the rumors from years ago are true" Ricky said

Brian shrugged "everyone kind of expected it you know, we already knew what would happen to the 8 of us when we joined boys planet"

"And now its real" ollie bounces up and down trying to get yujin to join him
"Why are you not excited, this is something we planned right" he asked concerned

Hao sighed "guys as much as we want to re-debut with the four of you, hanbin made a plan for zb1 to become a permanent group"

Yunseo looks at him curiously "really? You think it will work"

"I believe in my hanbin" hao smiles

"Well can you a least give it some thoughts I mean, the 8 of us already had this planned since before boys planet"

Noticing the stress hao is getting, gyuvin stepped in "hyung we will give it a thought but there is no guarantee that our answer will be the one you want"

Ricky nodded "please we need some time, I mean we don't even know if kq entertainment will still accept us"

Yunseo smiles "of course, we will give you some space"

"We will accept any answers no worries" Brian assures

"Thanks guys" yujin smiles and everyone smiles back

~ The night before contracts ending

"And you're just now telling me this" hanbin said stressed out to hao

"Look, I didn't mean to keep it from you ok, I wanted to deal with it myself"

"And!?"

"And what"

"Whats the Answer hao?? Zb1 or them" hanbin questions

"Hanbin" hao said tiredly

"Why is it hard to Answer hao, zb1 or them" hanbin asked upset

"I actually don't know"

"And why not"

"Because I'm scared of something happening and we don't end up being permanent and it's too late for us to join the rest of the yuehaz"

Hanbin sighed and brings hao in for a hug "im sorry, I didn't mean to sound frustrated, I just really want to stay a group I mean, you yujin Ricky and gyuvin has the yuehaz to go back to, gunwook has the jellyfish boys, taerae has wake one, seokmae probably will join 8turn and then there's jiwoong with his agency and where does that leave me..... in the background  again, I was lucky to even participate in boys planet and now I debuted as an idol and I don't wanna go back to behind the scenes"  hanbin sniffled

"Baobei, im really sorry, I didn't know hm and if everything fails then you're more than welcome to join us" hao smiles

Hanbin kiss his cheek "thanks hyung"

Then they lay in bed and cuddle through the night

The day of contracts ending

 

Zb1 (sans hanbin and the yuehaz) were waiting in the living room to see what was gonna happen

They stood up when hanbin entered

"Well the contracts are up" he stated

"Ok enough with the suspension do we have a new contract with kq entertainment or not" gunwook exclaimed

Hanbin stayed looking down for a few minutes before looking up grinning "we are now a permanent group" he proclaimed shouting

Everyone cheers as they went to hug him

"Thats my hyung!!"
"My bestie did ittt!!!"
"Our leader everyone"
"You did great hanbin ah"

As hanbin bask in the praises, the door opened once more and the yuehaz trinkled in

Hanbin went to hao "so what happened what did they say" he asked curiously

"First, how did it go" hao smiles softly

Hanbin smiles "it works hyung, we are now a permanent group under kq entertainment"

The yuehaz gasped as they look at them smiling

Hao hugged hanbin "great job i knew you could do it"

"Ok and you, whats going on"

Hao looks at Ricky, gyuvin and yujin before smiling back at hanbin and the others

"We talked to the others and told them our decision" hao started

"They accepted it and help us terminate our contracts at yueha, they will be promoting as 4" Ricky ended

Hanbin blinks before grinning and hugging hao "you chose us really!?"

Gyuvin nodded "in the words of hao hyung, the yuehaz might have been our hmm predebut family but-"

"You guys are our forever family" yujin smiles as everyone cooed at him

"Yea we chose zb1 and we don't regret it" hao smiles

Hanbin chuckled "im glad" then he hugged hao again and soon everyone joins in

Chapter 3: jiwoong × matthew × seobin pt1

Matthew pov

as we had a little free time today, I am currently going through YouTube looking for something to watch when a familiar person caught my eye

the thumbnail of the video had jiwoong hyung in it along with his bl partner seobin

feeling intrigued I clicked on the video and it was showing previews of what would happen in the clip

I was so mesmerized in the vlog that I didn't notice jiwoong hyung coming in right when the part where he and seobin was taking a steamy bath and I just happen to be drooling at the scene

"Matthew ah" I heard him suddenly say

in a panic, I threw my phone and it fell off the bed, oh well maybe Ricky can buy me a new one if its broken

"jiwoon hyung" I stuttered

he smirked "watching something you weren't supposed to watch"

I shook my head "of course not hyung"

he hummed "you know I saw that seobin uploaded his latest vlog ..... you wouldn't um happen to be watching that hm" he smirked again

"No!" I said in a high pitch voice

he laughed, oh the audacity
"well im heading to his place for lunch and since the others are out, do you wanna come"

"uh sure" I agreed but why did I do that, im probably gonna be a third wheeler or is seobin gonna be a third wheeler or-

"what got you thinking so hard" jiwoong pulled me out of my thoughts

"uh hyung are you and seobin um" I started to ask but I didn't know how to finish, maybe I am afraid of the answer

he nodded then winks "that behind the scene kiss was for our enjoyment"

"ahh I see"

"but we are looking for another"

I tilted my head "another what, bl project?" I questioned

he chuckled "never mind, let's go hm"

I nodded as we made our way out

half an hour later we finally arrived at seobins place, it looks big not gonna lie

jiwoong hyung knocked on the door with the hand that doesn't have the bags of food, then a smiling ang- i mean person opens the door

"woonie, about time you got here, I was very hungry" he pouted

jiwoong chuckled and kissed his cheek "sorry long line"

seobin hummed then gasped when he saw me
I widen my eyes, oh no I hope I'm not being a homewrecker, I whined in my mind

he let out a small squeal "woon, he looks so much adorable in person just like you said"

I blinked as he put out his hands "hi im seobin but im sure jiwoong hyung talks about me a lot" he slyly smiles

I was frozen for a bit before finally talking "uh hi, im Matthew, and no jiwoon hyung hardly talks about you" I teased

"ah to hear the infamous jiwoon hyung in person" seobin said before continuing "come in please, get comfy, and I heard a lot about you"

I looked at him confused "really!?" I ask

he nodded as he help jiwoong hyung set up the table "ah yes the matt in Mattbin bestie duo and the matt in mattwoong relationship" he recalls

I grimaced, im guessing he saw those tweets of me and jiwoong

then I heard him laugh "dont be so nervous about it, besides im more than happy to share jiwoong hyung"

once again I tilted my head "what do you mean by that"

"ah you're so innocent and pure"

then jiwoong enter the room with drinks "you know I just caught him watching your latest upload, even drooled during the steamy bath scene" he explained teasingly

seobin looks at me Suprised "oh really well thats good to know"

I blushed "I like your videos thats all"

he nodded then pointed to him and jiwoong "have you ever seen our series before"

I nodded "I like them both hyungs"

seobin looks at jiwoong "you know what I like him, im gonna keep him"

jiwoong Laugh "I got him first"

I smiled as the two made hilarious banter back and forth

I don't know why but I don't feel as jealous as I thought I was gonna get seeing jiwoong with seobin

it feels comfy like this, I kinda like it

then seobin started talking to me about some hilarious incident that happened with jiwoong hyung

yea I feel happy like this and all of a sudden its like my heart beats for 2

Chapter 4: jiwoong x matthew x seobin pt2

Matthew pov

"but potato with sugar is so much tastier hyung" yujin tried to convince me

I shook my head "no pepper and salt is a better choice"

"yuck" yujin made a face

I chuckled

me and yujin lost in rock paper scissors and now we have to get food to restock the dorm
I thought it was gonna be tiring dragging the young hyper maknae around but its been fun so far and now we are headed back

I was so into my thoughts that i accidentally bumped into someone

"oh sorry" I started to say then I recognize the person

he smiles "well its you again, its been a while seok Matthew" he teased

I nodded "h-hi seobin"

he was going to stay something but then yujin interrupted "wait aren't you yoon seobin, sorry my hyung is your big fan, he always makes us watch roomates of poongduck and kissable lips" he exclaimed

he hummed and look at me "oh really" he smirked

I stuttered "its another hyung of his, um but I do watch your series though"

"awe man I don't have anything for you to write on, hao hyung will be mad if I met the yoon seobin without him and not get anything back" yujin pouted

seobin laughed then pointed somewhere "I was heading to that Cafe where my fanclub has something set up for me, why don't we go over there and I'll write you something"

yujin smiles widely as he immediately nodded

I shook my head "we can't, we have cold stuff to take back to the dorm"

"do you guys have another day off or still preparing for Debut" seobin asked

"we already had schedule earlier so we're free but he's right we have cold stuff" yujin pouted

"then why don't you leave Matthew the warm stuff and you take the cold stuff back to the dorm" he smirked

yujin widen his eyes as I tried to subtlety tell him not to go
"what a good idea, see ya later hyungs, and give Matthew hyung your signature" yujin said before getting all the cold stuff in his hands and went back to the dorm which wasn't far from here

seobin had the audacity to smile "of course" then he looked at me and made a gesture to walk towards the cafe

I gulped then followed him

out of all days for the streets not to be sooo busy it has to be today, I glared at no one in my head

I wouldn't glare at yujin for abandoning me though, he's so precious and he has protective hyungs

once we got to the Cafe, I was amazed by the decorations that his fans did, it was so well planned

I followed seobin as he went to one of the table and got a dessert that was laid out and handed it to me

"hyung, what was the special occasion" I asked curiously

he smiles "today was the day I first met jiwoong hyung and so our fans like to honor that anniversary by doing something like this"

I nodded understandably "sorry he couldn't spend it with you this year"

he shrugged "its nothing big, but thats why we had that lunch the other day"

I widen my eyes "and I interrupt it" I exclaimed

he had the audacity to laugh a little and then he shook his head "no, you would've been lonely if he left you behind"

I hummed

"are you proud of him for Debut"

he nodded "very proud but sad its only temporary"

I smirked "not if we can handle it, I got a plan to become permanent and everything" I said excitedly as I took a bite of the ice-cream he handed me

he laughed as he wiped off a few crumbs i left behind leaving me blush a little
"well I'll looking forward to that day"

I sighed, guess im going straightforward today "hyung why are you being flirty with me, I mean you have jiwoong and I like him but I don't want to get in your way"

he sighed "you don't think I know you like jiwoong, I know you do and he likes you too trust me and I'm being flirty because well he's not the only one I like, I fell for you by watching you on boys planet and whenever you and jiwoong interact together on screen, i get butterflies because I don't know its like he's securing you for us"

I looked at him confused "hyung -"

he sadly smiles "me and jiwoong loves eachother, but we also like you and want you to be ours"

I just blinked not knowing what to say

he sighed and look behind me and then back to me "I think you should be heading back to your dorm hm" then he walk off to greet his fans

I watched sadly as he interacted with his fans and telling jokes and then snuck out to go back to the dorm

on my way back I couldn't help but give out a little laugh
a throuple with yoon seobin hyung and jiwoong hyung,
I kinda like the feeling of that

Chapter 5: leader leader

hanbin pov

"nuh uh"

" uh huh"

"nuh uh I won and now you have to clean my room"

"no I won"

I had enough and turned towards my lovely maknae line with a force smile
"thats enough, now gunwook since you started it clean yujins room"

"wha but hyung"

I gave him a look to which he agrees and left
I sighed and put my hand and massage my forehead

"hanbin hyung are you ok" yujin asked with bright eyes

I gave him a smile "im fine, go bother your yueha hyung or something in the meantime"

yujin nodded as he left

I sigh
I thought this leader stuff would be easy but its not, I have to be a mediator and take care of everyone and make sure that we get everything right for our schedules and recordings and lessons, but its not easy I don't know if I can be a good leader, I wanna make sure we'll do great and maybe still be a group even after the contract ended

I groaned as I slam my head unto the table

"wanna massage" I heard from behind me

I turned to see hao coming in looking at me with sympathy
"yujin ah told me you were feeling tired, are you ok"

I smiled at him "im fine hao don't worry"

he gave me a look "are you sure, you can ask for help if the workload is a lot"

I shook my head "no it isn't" then I look to the side where the calender was and realized that it is the weekday, I widen my eyes "why isn't yujin in school, oh geez he's late" as I stood up to call out for yujin, hao stopped me chuckling
"binnie, its summer, the kids has some time off remember" hao smiles

"heh oh yea thats right"

"are you sure you're ok tho"

I nodded "im fine no worries, just go back to what you were doing"

he squinted his eyes as if he doesn't believe me , I held his wrist
"im fine I promise"

 

I am not fine, a few days later and now I got a sore throat, thank goodness I only have that
I guess im not ment to be a leader if im gonna be stressed out all the time, I ponder sadly

then Matthew came in with a wet cold towel
"how are you feeling hyung"

I hummed "could be better" I said rasply

"are you sure you are ok i mean you hardly get sick"

I smiled "im fine no worries" I told him in English

he hummed "ok I'll believe you for now" then he left to room so I can sleep

Matthew walked out of hanbins room and into the living room where the others were at while dialing something on his phone

"is hanbin hyung gonna be alright" gyuvin asked worriedly

jiwoong soothe the maknae lines back "how can this happen so fast"

"I think the stress of being a leader mightve gotten to him" hao said

"and we were being annoying all week" yujin said sadly while taerae comforts him

"I don't think its just that though" Ricky ponders

Matthew nodded "and that is why we are going to enlist a help of a certain person" he smirked

"wait who" hao asked curiously

Matthew just grins

hanbin pov

a few hours later someone entered hanbins room and gently woke him up

hanbin yawned "is the soup ready" he groggily asked

then he widen his eyes once he became fully awake

"hui hyung uh I mean sunbaenim" he said excitedly as he goes to hug him

hui chuckled "just hyung would be fine"

hanbin nodded then look at him curiously "what are you doing here"

"well I had free time and some of my members had schedules and when Matthew called me to help them out with something, I thought to come by for a visit" he explained

I tilted my head "help for what" then my eyes widen "oh no did I forget something" I looked panic

he shook his head "no but I see what they mean now"

I look at him confused

"being a leader is hard huh, you feel like you are not doing enough and that constant fear of letting down your members" he said with sympathy

oh yea thats right, he's a leader too, I suddenly found the floor interesting as I look down

"I know the same feeling, every day I feel like something will go wrong and I let my members down" he scoffed "heck even during boys planet I still had that fear in mind wondering if our dynamic will change just because I wanted to join a survival show"

I look at him curiously "but it didn't though, it still feels like before isn't it and a few of your members are on a survival program too right"

he nodded "yup, once they realized its to help bring attention to our names"

I hummed as I listened

"look do you know why it's kinda rare for the oldest to be the leader"

I look at him curiously as he pause for suspense

he smiles "its because with every leader, comes their hyungs who will be their support and shoulders, just like I have jinho, you have jiwoong and hao so don't be afraid to ask them for help"

I looked at him curiously "but what about the leaders that are the eldest"

he smiles "they have their dongsaengs to rely on, its the whole team game, all of you rely on eachother no matter what your roles are"

I smiled and nodded

"speaking of which, your members are kinda worried about you, why don't we go out there and assure them that you'll be ok"

I nodded as I got up and followed him

"oh hyung, how are you feeling" Matthew asked as I came to the living

I smile at him "I'll be fine now, thanks for the call"

he smiles back

and then I finally noticed 2 extra people in the room and bows "hello sunbaenims" I greeted

they waved "please hui is your Hyung, call us hyungs too"

I nodded

"so are you ok now" wooseok hyung asked

I nodded "im fine

then the other guy smiles and claps hui hyung shoulders "ah you really are the sunbaenim now, giving advice and all that"

"jinho hyuunng" hui hyung whined

everyone laughed

"heyy wait i wanna give advice too, whos the maknae here" wooseok asked as we all pointed towards yujin

he went towards yujin "Alright kid listen up, first you play the innocent and pure game alright and then when the time is right go all maknae on top with them and then you- "

He shrugged "in groups activities as of right now but they never said i couldn't make an appearance at survival shows if I wanted to" he winks teasingly

"But don't do too good we need our leader back" Kino jokes as I rolled my eyes

Chapter 7: epic proposal

Hanbin pov

"Where is he" I mutters under my breath as I pace around the room waiting for Matthew to show up so we can create a plan and time is crunching

Oh hi, im sung hanbin and right now I'm a mess.... why you ask .... well you see

Its been 8 years since boys planet aka 8 years since I met the love of my life zhanghao and got together a little before the finale of boys planet and well we managed to keep our relationship a secret during our time as zb1 members although sadly we weren't able to keep it going after the 2 1/2 years contract was up...  I mean being the members of zb1 of course, our relationship is as strong as ever

After zb1 disbanded, jiwoong went back to acting of course along with Matthew who joined jiwoong and yoon seobin as the bl world first ever official throuple actors both in bl series and in real life

I was really happy for him, looks like he is the happiest ever when he is with them

Anyways next taerae got out of wake one when he realized he was gonna the be the only remaining former boys planet contestant still in that company but thankfully he left and joined phanbin,wumuti haruto, woongki, and jeonghyeon in creating a self produced group of their own

Gunwook went back to jellyfish ent and debuted with the people he entered boys planet with and they are killing it

The yuehaz boys went back to Yueha and reunited with seungeon, ollie, Brian and yeonseo and finally became a group and I couldn't be more happier for them after their old ceo left leading for one of the older artists at yueha to take over and they are loving every second of it

I got offered to join them but I actually declined

I wanted to help my mother out at her Cafe so I took a step back from the industry since I had my chance to shine and now I got a chance to be a music teacher and that's what I wanna be

And zhanghao well you know with the yuehaz boys but we got a supportive Fandom, family and friends we were able to go through it all and we are the happiest we ever been

Anyways enough about us

Me and hao has been together for almost 8 great years and I think im ready to take the next step i mean I did my enlistment like 2 years ago and now I want to pop the question to hao

I continued talking as I walked to hao

"When I came into boys planet, all i wanted to do was focus on the competition, I just wanted to survive and not get eliminated but little did I know that I was gonna make some good friendship here old and new" I paused to fondly look at all the new friends and old ones (Matthew, hui) that I made in boys planet and they all smiled fondly at me and some raises thumbs up

I turned to make eye contacts with hao "when I saw you for the first time it was like you were the only trainee there, like nothing else Matters, you been with me through the good and bad times even after zb1"

I took hao's hands as he looks at me with teary eyes and I can see everyone form a tear in their eyes as well

"I love you Baobei, i love whenever I call you my other half, my soul mate, people can call our fans dululu but we proved them wrong when you publicly confessed to the world and that took guts" I teased making everyone laugh

I brought out the ring from my pocket "I love you and I only want you noone else, zhanghao would you be my eternal forever"

"You pabo I was gonna propose today too" he sniffled

I smirked "well I can't let you take every milestone"

After that day, I haven't seen seobin in a while but im pretty sure he didn't tell jiwoon hyung of our conversation yet otherwise he would've said something to me

Hanbin looks to where yujin was Pointing and went to get a closer look at it and then he smiles "ah that was the first customer I ever helped out when I first worked here to help my mom, she was so proud that day that we took a picture"

Hanbin nodded "a year older actually and is a cute one, believe it or not but that day was the first day he started living here in Korea and besides the language barrier, I was able to help him"

Gyuvin and yujin looks at hanbin who's face is tomato red

Hanbin rolls his eyes before quickly running towards the back without being seen

"Eomma!" He exclaimed almost scaring his mother

"We had a day off today, im here with a few friends of mine but never mind that, the guy at the counter was he looking for me" he questioned

His mother smirked "why yes since that day you two met, he comes here almost any day he can in hopes to see you but you were always off training"

"But you know what, here you give him his usual" his mother said as she shoved the tray to hanbins arms "good luck" she teases

Hanbin took a deep breath and walked out to where hao was sitting looking on his phone but he looks up as he saw hanbin coming his way

He smirked "so you're the boy from the cafe"

Hanbin gulps as he nodded "and you were my first customer"

Hao nodded and laughed "you finally remembered"

"Sorry it took long"

"I don't mind, take a seat binnie, let's drink this together" hao said as he offered hanbin his lap uh I mean seat next to him

As they sat and smiled at eachother
A few tables away from the happy couple stood hanbin's mother, yujin and Gyuvin who was recording the entire thing

"Ah, it feels nice to see my son happy" the woman said

"I still can't believe this is where it started for them i mean I always thought they would have that enemies to lovers trope" yujin laughs

"Either way, I'm sending this to the other guys, especially Matthew and keita they been waiting for those two to happen" Gyuvin exclaimed as he recorded the moment

Meanwhile with the couple,

this got everyone attention and soon many of fandoms got confused for why people were hating on this one joke that other had trainees done even infront of hanbin

whenever taerae has comeback and promotion time, he leaves his followers wondering when he will come back

unknowingly to all fandoms and idols excluding zhanghao, he became two types of idols that night

Chapter 11: Innocent yujin

It was just a quiet calm dorm after a chaotic 2 weeks of their first ever promotion for their debut

Yujin pouted in thought "I understand now hyung thanks" then he walks off

A little later at dinner, all members were very grateful it was just the 9 of them when yujin suddenly asked Matthew something

"But if it can happen in reality then is it possible for you, jiwoong and seobin to have a baby at the same time" he questioned causing everyone to choke or spit out their drink

Matthew and jiwoong were very flustered at the question

"Oh no he's in that phase again"

"Yujin we already been through this, boys can't give birth" gyuvin said

And as everyone was distracted trying to calm a choking Ricky and taerae down

Yujin grins and mouths at gyuvin "I know"

And then that's when gyuvin knows that this will be the starting of the maknae's many teasing

Chapter 12: Gunwook maknae

Summary:

Where yujin started watching wild idol for entertainment and made a realization about gunwook

Notes:

I went to check if gunwook was the maknae in wild idol but there were some who didn't have a birthday in kprofiles but I heard that he was one of the maknaes there I think.... please correct me if I'm wrong lol

After filming 2 months worth of contents, zb1 members finally get to take a week break off.

Yujin was currently just sitting on a couch to watch a show that was recommended on YouTube called wild idol, he was excited to see a few familiar yet a bit younger faces on there

As he watches it he noticed something, he hummed thoughtfully "gunwook hyung looks so innocent in this, and they spoiled him just like hyungs spoiled me in boys planet and now" he noted to himself amazed

"Huh he doesn't look scary here" he said to himself

Then out of curiosity he went to rewatch the first few boys planet episodes and came up with a conclusion "uh oh, how can we not seen this sooner, we acted like he was scary when he's like a teddy bear" he exclaimed

Just then gunwook came in talking on the phone "thanks for the Invite hyung when can I come" he spoke excitedly jumping up and down

"I'm off the entire week, I think a few members were gonna visit their family so can I stay with you at your dorm pleaseeeee" then he laughed "yea but im your spoiled maknae"

"Ok see you soon hyung" then he got off the call and noticed yujin sitting on the couch and looked to see what he was watching

He looks at him curiously "you're watching boys planet" he questioned

Yujin shook his head "no I was actually watching wild idol but then I noticed something and had to watch boys planet real quick"

"What are you curious about"

"Hmm not much, what was it like filming wild idol"

Gunwook scoffed a little as he took a seat "a bit too extreme but somehow funner than boys planet, you know I was your age when I joined wild idol"

Yujin sighed "do you miss it, you know wild idol" he questioned

Gunwook Hummed "I don't miss IT but I do miss everyone"

"Did you miss them because they treated you like the maknae you were"

Gunwook looks at yujin confused

Yujin took it further to explain "you were the maknae for like most of the show and every one of your Hyungs treated you so softly meanwhile we well boys planet we treated you like you were scary even when you're still apart of the maknae line"

Gunwook sighed and look at yujin "can I admit, I was hurt that everyone thinks I was older then what I was but overtime you guys got used to me right"

"Yea but when you look at the contents-"

Gunwook cuts him off "yujin ah, contents doesn't Matter alright, besides that day we just happened to go with a tough look concept ok so its alright it everyone had a different impression of me"

Yujin gave him a look "i was there when you told gyuvin your age, you look a bit taken aback"

"I know but I expected it"

"Hmm hyung, who called you just now" yujin asked as he suddenly remembered

"Ahh one of my hyungs from wild idol wants us all to gather to celebrate my debut" Gunwook smiles

"That sounds fun"

"He said i can bring someone if I wanted to, do you wanna come" Gunwook asked

"This is your celebration, and reunion now that i think about it I don't want to interfere"

Gunwook laughed "they really said i can invite a plus one"

"Hmm, do you think Kamden hyung will be there, and yeojun hyung and jiho hyung" he questioned

Gunwook chuckled "im sure they would, see you would already know the four of us"

"Hmm I guess I'll go"

A day later the duo arrived at TAN dorm and was standing on the doorway "by the way, if you want kamden hyung can take you back to the dorm, I'm planning on staying the night here since its our week off" gunwook said

Yujin nodded "ok hyung"

Then the two stood still just blinking at the door and yujin looks at Gunwook curiously "hyung you alright, why haven't you knock"

Gunwook shrugged "guess im a bit scared I mean look at me, their once adorable maknae is now a tall guy with a tough vibe"

Yujin rolls his eyes "made one mistake on the concept on that day and suddenly geez look forget our words, you are still their adorable maknae heck we together are a dangerous maknae combo in zb1 because of our cuteness, so suck it up and knock"

Gunwook chose to put aside the hyung card just for the night and finally knocked

The door open to reveal TAN own maknae, jiseong who smiled as he saw Gunwook "there you are, the man of the hour, we are all waiting for you"

"Hi hyung, thanks for this really" Gunwook said excitedly

"Are you kidding, you were so close in the finals of course we will celebrate you"

As Gunwook smiles, yujin bows "hello sunbae nice to meet you, I am zb1 maknae han yujin"

"Now you talk like that" Gunwook quietly mutters

Jiseong greeted him back "nice to meet you too, im a maknae for this group as well

"Actually me and Gunwook are co-maknaes, yea we are a dangerous combo"

"Oh cool" jiseong exclaimed "anyways come on in"

As they made their way in, Gunwook was suddenly surrounded by the others asking him questions and fussing over him

"Huh never noticed how popular the younger ones are in survival shows, during and after" yujin said amazed then almost jumped when someone put an arm on him

"Yep thats our gunwookie, he was spoiled like a baby in wild idol" kamden spoke

"Hyung how come you never told us this was how he used to be treated, we were all scared of him in boys planet" yujin questioned

Kamden shrugged "nobody really asked, besides we thought everyone would have treat him like he was one of the maknaes"

"I feel bad though"

"Dont be, the past is the past alright, you didn't know and your members didn't either"

As the night goes on, yujin starts to make a plan of how to make sure gunwook gets a day where he is treated like the maknae even if he had to sneak out of the dorm

Which he probably won't for the sake of hao's wrath

Chapter 13: Just a fanboy crush

Summary:

Inspired by the recent human idol theater near the end when hao and jiwoong suppose to compliment eachother and then afterwards a certain someone gets sulky

Hanbin pov

Our human idol theater episode had finally aired and now I'm watching and looking at comments while eating my snacks

The comments mostly are tamed some about taerae and Ricky, some teasing seokmae about "hunting", and then there were comments about jiwoong and hao confession time

I sighed

I shouldn't really get jealous should I
I mean even idols have idols but then again jiwoong played a vampire one time which then led to hao making a discovery about himself and now they are friends

I shouldn't worry much because hao always assured me that his eyes are on me but on the other hand he is living a y/n dream

I frowned and pouted, I don't like that I'm getting worried over this, they are just friends and hao is only a fanboy to jiwoong

But what if they get closer

What if they might have more in common than they thought

What if im not the one for hao

I'm being ridiculous at this point I mean jiwoong has Matthew, he wouldn't try to go after hao would he

Hao is mine, I hope

Why wasn't I an actor before attending a survival show, I mentally groaned

I knew i should've been a bl actor before chasing that idol dream, I scolded myself

Wait but then hao wouldn't be my first guy kiss, I mentally cried,

Hao chuckled "ok I'll say that next time" he then kissed my nose

He nodded then hummed "technically i have two fanboy crush"

He nodded "and my heart is bursting at the fact that I get to spend every day with my favorite new idol" he grins

"Ugh you're so cheesy hyung" I heard yujin groaned as he pass by the living room

I chuckled at his reaction then face hao and gave him a peck on the lips "he's right you are cheesy" I teased

He laughed "cheesy for you"

"Seriously gonna lose my appetite soon" yujin shouted as he could still hear us

We Laughed at him

Hao looks at me sincerely "jiwoong is just a fanboy crush, while you are my forever"

I blushed at his words then gave him a kiss

"Hyungs at least wait till im out of the room" i faintly heard yujin groaned but at the moment my mind was getting heated

Chapter 14: comfort jiwoong

As an actor, you can get positive comments or not so positive comments but as an idol post- being a bl actor, things can get a bit tougher

every idols are wary of the fan girls who assumes they are straight right away and when they come out, it causes trouble for the idol themselves, fans and the company

jiwoong was in a group before but back then he wasn't so sure of his sexuality and now after participating in BL series, he finally made a discovery about himself and and manage to ask out seobin on a date and they been happy ever since

During boys planet when the cameras are off, seobin took the initiative to visit jiwoong and has met all off the trainees
jiwoong chuckled as he remembered their reactions

some were fanboying (*cough* hao *cough*)
some were very happy for the couple
and some groans at missing their chance of dating THE kim jiwoong (*cough* Matthew, seowon *cough)

 

despite the reactions from hao and matthew respectively, jiwoong wonders how the rest of his now members thought of him dating a guy as most of them just stood by and smiled during the announcement

which now leads to here where he is overthinking that scene some more as he scroll across hate comment and then his heart dropped. Sweat was beading down his forehead, he could feel his hands shaking as he read out the words claiming that he could be holding the group back by dating a guy

he knew that not every fans can be open minded but his members wouldnt hate him right

right!?

for the next week jiwoong started to distance himself from his members much to the members worriness, until at the end of the week they had enough and voted for matthew to go talk to him

Matthew knocked on the door before entering "jiwoon Hyung" he greeted entering as he held a phone behind his back and a plate of sandwich on his other hand
"here you need to eat, i made you a sandwich" he said as he handed jiwoong the plate

jiwoong ate it with a smile but then started feeling a bit sleepy so he turns to glare at matthew "Did you trick me to eat a sleep pill" he exclaimed

"ohh so that is what that is"

before jiwoong could scold, he fell to the floor with a thump, few seconds later matthew picked him up and carried him to his bed and heard him mumble "im sorry"

"hyung, you have nothing to be sorry about, we just wish you can trust us with your thoughts" matthew said patting his hair
"you may be the hyung but you still need us"

jiwoong sleepily pouts " im worried about holding back members"

"you are not holding us back why would you think that"

" fans says so, says you all think im disgusting for liking guys"

matthew looks at him horrified then chuckled " if that was true then, haobin wouldnt even be together and everyone wouldnt be themselves"

jiwoong sleepily hums

"sleep the pill off hyung, I will be back" matthew said before covering him up with a blanket and bringing out his phone

a few hours later jiwoong woke up and saw that he was in matthews room, confused he decided to sneak away before the members came back but then the door opened and in came hanbin with his arms crossed and the members right behind him

before he can blink, yujin tackled him to the bed "hyung how could you think that we wouldnt like you for who you are, you're the best hyung ever" he pouted before adding while looking at the rest of his hyungs "uh i mean best non yueha hyung ever"

"we will be back with that later" gunwook remarks before adding "hyung, you were my idol, my role model, besides if i was uncomfortable with you then i wouldve left the program"

Jiwoong glares "you gave me a sleeping pill and force me to talk out my feelings, im not gonna go through with this again"

"yes you are because they are your members, your family" a new voice enters

jiwoong looked and saw seobin entering and was suprised " what are you doing here"

seobin smiles and went to hold jiwoong in his arms "i heard that you were sad, i dont like it when you are sad" he pouted then he moved jiwoong to sit on his lap and started playing with his hair
"you're perfect, i love you and you are a role model to all of these boys, espectually the ones who had a sexual awakening thanks to you" he smiles at jiwoong

"hyung, we love you, we care about you, please let us in" hanbin said worriedly

jiwoong smiles at them all "thanks for being my best supporters"

"thanks for being ours" zhanghao smiles back

from then on, jiwoong chose to only listen to his boyfriend and the members and not have a single care of what the antis think about his sexuality

Something weird its going on

Like out of character weird

What's going on and why is this happening

Wait hold up let's rewind a bit

It all started this morning when I was gently woken up by my dear leader hanbin

"Wook ah, get up we have a long day of schedule ahead" he spoke in a soft tone
I blinked and smile back at him and nodded sleepily

I let out a yawn then went to go to the restroom to get ready to go out
After washing up I went to the kitchen to see hao making some breakfast

"Morning Hyung" I spoke yawning

He smiled "morning wook ah, there's a plate ready for you"

I nodded as I went to the table to eat

Just then the next weirdest thing happen, Matthew walks in as he happily greeted me and hao
But thats not the weird part

The weird part was he greeted me like this:
"Rise and shine maknae ah, don't look so tired, we are gonna have a fun time filming" he happily spoke as he pinch my cheek and went to go get a plate from hao

I mean I am the second youngest so it kinda makes sense

He still looks at me confused

i just blinked at him

They just stared at me worried

I blinked at him until I heard taerae starting to speak "yujin told us about your time on wild idol"

"And then we realized how we treated you at the beginning of boys planet" hanbin added

"So we decided to treat you as maknae of the day" jiwoong finishes

I look at the bewildered "by starting with a prank!?"

They all looked at me expecting

Then I grinned "it was awesome! I always wanted hyungs to prank me so I can prank them back"

Their faces lose color and realized what they done

I smirks "be prepared hyungs because this maknae is a prankster"

Then I walked off laughing

I'm obviously not gonna prank them
But it will be fun watching them jump whenever I come near

As I walked off, I smile to myself knowing what yujin did
I feel like a maknae again

"Thanks yujin ah, I'll treat you to ice cream soon" I muttered before heading to watch some movie as hyungs crowd around me with popcorn and snacks

Chapter 17: 3+1: zb1debates identity revealed

Summary:

Sequel to "when I do it no one bats an eye but when hyung does it someone's gonna die

 

*3 times taerae accidentally revealed his zb1debates identity + 1 time he makes it known 

 

1.) Hao 

 

Taerae was just finishing up his video game when one of his hyungs called out to him 

 

He looks back to see hao waving at him 

He waves back 

"Hey hyung everything alright" 

Hao nods "yea its just we accidentally mixed-up our phones"  

 

Taerae went wide eyes "oh thanks hyung, you didn't see anything right" he questioned to which Hao shook his head, "why should i have"

Hao hummed "Alright then" 

 

Taerae grimace "you know didn't you" 

Hao nods "sorry your phone lit up with that notification when I had it in my hand" 

 

"Its fine hyung, well since I got caught might as well delete my actual" Taerae sighed 

 

"Why do you tho, I won't say anything" 

Taerae gasped "you won't" he exclaimed 

Hao nods and brings in a hug and a quiet thanks 

 

 

 

2.) Yunho 

 

They were just wrapping up filming the radio episode and taerae was watching a few of his members do another set of challenges with the 2 ateez members 

 

He was laughing at a mistake gunwook had clumsily made when his phone went off 

 

Secretly he pulled it out to see he got a dm on his secret account 

 

I'm curious what's your debate when you feel like your ships are getting too real that its not even fan service anymore 

The message read 

 

Taerae looks around to see if anyone is nearby before answering

He was just about click on new post when he heard a gasp from behind that made him jump

The other girl nods her head "I know!!" Then she leans in to whisper but she was still a bit Loud to where Taerae can hear her 

"in class the other day when professor asked if anyone had some news to share, two boys stood up proudly proclaiming to be armys, everyone was a little confused, but not me I was so proud of them" the first girl wipes a tear 

The second one sighed "life of a stay... wonder when I will witness something like that" 

 

The stay fangirl chuckled "maybe soon friend, either way this zb1debates guys does wonders" 

 

Taerae comes into view "oh its not wonder its magic" he did the jazz hand before realizing his mistakes and grimace "don't tell anyone" then quickly leaves thus leaving the squealing girls behind

He answered that via post with a unseen picture of him and haobin

With an unbiased reason, love is love, there shouldn't be a debate for that and I'm very happy with their decision to come out, now as their member, I am very happy for my hyungs and with them a happy life together

Zerobaseone was just about to depart for Japan
And hanbin was in a grumpy mood after a really long day of filming and being the mc for Mcountdown
Plus he misses his hao

Zhanghao and Ricky are already on their way to Japan after their schedule in China so hanbin was already in a mood that he couldn't sit next to hao like always

Luckily being his longtime friend, Matthew appears by hanbins side to cheer him up a little
And it works
Well it almost did until they took one step into the airport

Being able to walk with air seems freeing for the boys especially hanbin but unfortunately it only lasted for 10 seconds until "fans" started to get into their personal bubble

With a deep sigh, the boys go into formation like normal

"Just a few hours till I get to see hao" he quietly mutters with a deep breath

Guyvin and gunwook was attending to Yujin who was now rubbing his bleeding head while a reporter with a very large camera was apologizing and blaming the girl next to him for shoving him

He had enough
It didn't help that this happened while he was in a very grumpy mood

And if it wasn't for Matthew and jiwoong to hold him back then he would've gone rogue

He took a deep breath and went to yujin

The minor shook his head, eyes already starting to get wet

He asked once more

Everyone jumps at his loud voice

He pointed towards the gates "these planes have a schedule and don't have time for this nonsense, either you do your business and get to the damn plane or just be here to say goodbye to your own love ones" he ranted

The crowd went silent
Now all look guilty

"Had you kept your distance, I wouldn't be risking my career right now or my relationship because now NOW I HAVE TO FUCKING FIGURE OUT HOW TO TELL HAO HYUNG THAT I LET ONE OF HIS YUEHUA KIDS GET INJURED ON MY WATCH WHILE HE'S IN ANOTHER COUNTRY"

Everyone stayed silent
The members went to hanbin to calm him down a little
But jiwoong told them to wait and gave them a look to trust hanbin

Just then the intercom announced the boarding for Japan flight
With one final glare at the crowd, hanbin held yujin and they walk towards the plane with the members in tow

Few hours later, they arrived at Japan and at their hotel where Ricky and hao was waiting with open arms and news about hanbin going viral
Hao told the members to take yujin to a clinic next to the hotel while he takes hanbin to their room so he can finally relax

But before hanbin could, the two ran into the manager who said that hanbin wasn't in big trouble and complemented on his bravery

After that hao finally took hanbin to the hotel room and let the leader finally have the sleep and rest he so needed

Chapter 20: a jokesters tale

2 years before boys planet

Yujin and Ollie were walking to the cafeteria when all of a sudden Yujin stops as he suddenly got chills in his body

Ollie looks at him curiously "are you okay"
Yujin nods but wasn't sure until he kept walking, leading the way towards their destination

But to the barley teen yujin, he was secretly grinning as he hopes to set off the best April fools joke in the world

As they sat to eat, Yujin stayed still and poked his food earnings weird looks from his hyungs

They all look at him confused

"Its April fools day" Zhanghao gave them a duh look and then the other 6 looks towards yujin to see him now grinning

Chapter 21: "1st wedding anniversary"

Summary:

A/n: as April is here I remember that at the end of this month was the boys planet finale aka the big haobin wedding iykyk lol
So I thought to myself why not make a oneshot for their "wedding anniversary"

Despite the many jokes of the boys planet dorm still existing at that location
It is still exists to this day

And so what does hao and hanbin do during their freetime
They went to visit it and visit the stage that started it all
To them it was to remind them of the time they made it onto the final line up

But deep deep down inside, they knew why they want to visit this place

They walked towards the stage hand in hands like always and sat down in the middle of it all

"The top nine chairs are still there, along with the surrounding chairs, wonder why" hao spoke softly as Hanbin shrugs "another season of boys planet" he guessed

Then they burst out a laughter "never again, they learned from last time" hao jokes as he laid down with hanbin following him as he grabs his hands

"If they do another season, do you think anyone would follow our footsteps" hanbin moves his head toward hao

Hao laughs "fans seems to like that enemies to lovers trope.. especially if they are the center" he jokes as he plays with Hanbin's hand
"Actually if you think about it, all this program did was create a variety of tropes"

Hanbin chokes on his sob "even if we are idols"

They started at the center of the stage and now they are in the center of their friends
