Chapter Text
(Start Yui Ikari Deep Space)
I am alone truly alone a monument to humanities existence what a fool I've been. My own desires my own ambitions and my own arrogance had saw to it I would endure the ultimate punishment for my sins.
Wars are a dangerous game to play I should know I used to be a key tool to one. I have rejected every possible pilot bar one and had driven him beyond his sanity, my son my precious boy Shinji. I am Yui Ikari born a human but one fateful day in my hubris and arrogance I became one with the biomechanical weapon known as Evangelion Unit 01 the key to Human Instrumentality. For the next 10 years I was left blissfully unaware foolishly believing that everything would turn out all right that I would reach my goal and my son would be in paradise. I had too much faith in my husband... no that's not right I had become a victim of my own arrogance and hubris.
My husband Gendo Ikari became cruel and cold to my son Shinji who deserved much better than this. He and I shared the same fate fighting the beings known as the angels then losing the battle. I had pushed him into it I had driven my son to madness that he gave me the punishment someone like me rightfully deserved. I became the monument to humanities existence I became the monument of all of our sins. After the third impact my clone my daughter Rei Ayanami she gave my son the choice of choosing man's fate and he chose to return it to the way it was. The last thing I saw was a red dead world I never got to see if my son truly rebuilt the world. I suppose it doesn't matter anymore my punishment had begun. At first, I thought myself akin to a divine being bearing witness to the stars and the cosmos, but isolation took its toll loneliness became my punishment.
Time marched on and I began to lose track of the concept of time. My death would never come for me thanks to my self-made prison. I could only watch the emptiness and listen to the silence sometimes I drifted off and dream of the mother I should have been. With no Entry Plug I was truly trapped in this prison. When I drifted back into the waking world, I cannot tell how much time had passed I wondered unmoving and unlamented would I finally gravitate towards a sun and burn int he hellfire of life or shall a black hole crush me and grant me oblivion? I could never know but each waking moment of this Hell I was forced to see the horrible monster I became my only wish was to go back to talk sense into myself to stop myself from entering the EVA to find another way. Kyoko, Mari, if you two could see me now, you'll see the utter fool I am.
Shinji my darling boy you who loved so much yet had been denied love as well. I wish I could go to you hug you close and show you that you are in fact loved that mother will always love and protect you. Drifting in and out of consciousness my despair grew and only now do I realize that I am truly unworthy of love my sins are beyond reproach. But just as I was about to drift again a light shined in my eyes at first, I thought it strange but there it was again. Opening my eyes, I see a sight I never thought I would see again. Earth planet Earth the stars around me matched and the planet was blue and green teeming with life... I was home. But this was not the home I left time is a fact of life and knowing this I can see this is not the home I left. Continental drift and tectonic plates made sure of that and with this I was reminded that this home was one without those I loved. I hope my son is resting in peace and to my husband I hope he burns in hell for his part in my boys suffering.
Gravitational force begins to draw me towards the planet, perhaps I shall land in the deepest of oceans where the pressures within would crush this body. Or perhaps I will be given a more comforting sigh of nature as I land on one of the landmasses of the planet. I'd even take a desert at this point but regardless I am now at the mercy of fate from here on out. Oh well I suppose that... wait what is that? My mind wandered and to my horror a familiar force was felt. No, no please not again why here why now? Am I to be reminded of my sins once more? No not again I won't let this world pay for my mistakes with what will I had with what force I could muster I drew forth the power of this body to send a signal out to anyone who can find it. Perhaps they can give life to this body once more. I prayed I prayed to God in his heaven that I will be found to at last undue the mistakes of my past. I ask this as a mercy to anyone who listens please give me the chance to make right my wrongs let me finally put an end to Human Instrumentality.
(Scene Break Earth Orbiter)
A young man was deep in meditation as he stood in his quarters of his vessel. The boy looked to be somewhere in his early teens as he sat observing the space outside. As the stars outside flew by his eyes were closed as his brown straight hair seemed short of covering his eyes. "My Warframe is the hand, and I am the will." He said to himself as he focused his mind. But as he did so his closed eyes twitched as he felt something was off.
Through his eyes through the void visions began to hound him. He grunted as the images caused him discomfort with more images taking form. They were only short bursts, but they all held the same, suffering, pain, a city, and giants no titans. But they came as fast as they left, and he could not get a clear view. Then as if unseen a force reached out to him from behind to grab his shoulders. The young man could sense it and then when it touched his blue eyes shot open and he looked behind him only to find... nothing.
He sighed to himself and began to get up chalking it up as nerves playing on his senses. "Operator?" An unseen voice spoke as the young man smiled. "I detected your heartrate elevating are you well?" The Voice asked and thus the young man smiled.
"I'm fine Ordis, just dreams is all." The young man said as he began to take his leave of the room. "How far are we from our destination?" He asked while making his way through the ship upward towards a ramp area.
"We are ready to deploy the Landing Craft Operator and your Warframe is ready as well." Ordis said and thus they arrived up another hatch to the main navigation console.
"Good." He said and thus he turned around to see someone waiting there for him. A tall dark armored being with a long black scarf stood there with a Katana at its hip ready to go. "Well Umbra, ready?" The young man nodded and thus the figure his Warframe stood ready. The young man then vanished into a burst of energy and in turn entered the Warframe which then began to move once more. "Alright Ordis deploy the Landing Craft." The young man spoke through his Warframe as he kneeled down before the Navigation Console.
"At once Operator." Ordis said and thus they were ready to launch.
(Outside)
A ship was seen orbiting Earth as it stayed in cloaking mode to any who happened upon the area. The ship began to enter a sort of standby state as the top half began to released hatches and bursts of air. Detaching from the rest of the vessel a small craft flew off and towards the Earth to the location put in place via the coordinates.
(Later on, the Planet)
The Landing Craft flew into an open area as it entered a hover mode. Once there a hatch at the bottom flipped over revealing the same Warframe from earlier who was magnetized to the vessel. He detached from the magnetic latch and landed on the ground with a crouch before drawing his rifle the Braton Prime and scanned the area. Once he was sure that he was secured he dropped his guard only a little so he can make a quick call.
"Lotus this is Shura, callsign Wolf I have arrived at the mission sight please confirm." The young man now named Shura said while he contacted the Lotus.
He only needed to wait for a brief moment when a communication came in. "Confirmation received begin the mission." Lotus began and in turn Shura began to move through the wilderness. "Our sensors had detected an unknown signal originating from an object that had crashed not too long ago, this signal had co-incited with similar signals on the planet." She said while her image appeared in the corner of Shura's vision. "The other Tenno and our allies are currently investigating the other signals to see what had caused it." The Lotus said as Shura heard this.
"It might not be anything but with Narmer running around we can't be too sure." Shura said while he continued his investigation.
"Exactly best to be safe than sorry." Lotus said and thus Shura continued on with his mission. But as he passed by a river something strange occurred to him causing him to stop.
"What the?" Shura asked as he saw a familiar face that of a pale skinned, blue haired, and red eyed girl. "Wait... isn't that?" Shura asked only for nearby movement to draw his attention. He ran to cover to see what it was exactly noting red blimps appear on his map. Taking a quick moment, he looked to where the girl was only to find that she was gone now. "I'll need to review that later." Shura said and thus he quietly moved to where he heard the source of the sound.
Eventually he got to the source and saw exactly what it was. "Shit Grineer, judging by the armor and the lack of a Narmer Veil loyalists." Shura said before going back into his hiding spot. "Lotus be advised there are Grineer in the area, Queen Loyalists." Shura reported to which the Lotus knew well enough.
"They must also be here to investigate the crash; this might suggest there is something that they want from it." Lotus said and thus Shura put the pieces together.
"And if the Grineer want it, we can't let them have it." Shura said and thus he had his orders. "Understood, proceeding with the mission." Shura said and thus he glared down at the Grineer scouting party.
The Grineer never saw him coming as he proceeded to slice through each of them one after another. Thanks to Excalibur's abilities being a master of the blade and gun dealing with the Grineer was child's play. Once they were handled Shura opted to continue his mission to investigate what had crashed into the planet. But unknown to him something had awoken something not seen for countless centuries.
(In the Ocean)
Not far from where Shura was in the water something was seen floating through. It was large, very large in fact to the point that it could rival a murex in size. Floating through the water the bird masked creature continued on its path it could hear the call, the call had been made and thus he the first of his siblings had answered the call. Yet he could not help but wonder and worry over what was to come while hovering through the water. As it grew closer to the shore it could sense possible opposition in the way, regardless of if the foes prove themselves to hinder it then it shall eliminate them and if not, it shall simply keep going. Soon enough it got close enough to the shore and with it the time to strike had arrived.
(Later at the shore)
The water blasted upward as the massive creature began to rise from the depths and when it did chaos hit. Grineer forces saw it and were quick on the offensive upon its arrival. Leading them was Grineer Councilor Vay-Hek as he saw the creature rise from the ocean. "What are you Maggots waiting for open fire!" Vay Hek roared out his order and thus the Grineer sprang into action and proceeded to open fire.
The massive creature saw the attackers and for some odd reason it felt a certain familiarity to it all. Unsure of how or why the creature continued its advance to where it sensed the signal. It easily swatted away the flying contraptions that hovered around and fired at it with the weapons proving useless against the Light of its Soul. It advanced forward as Grineer tried to fight it off in their fliers but failed to so much as scratch the beast.
"Such power! Such fury!" Vay-Hek praised as he wanted that creature for the Grineer's use.
(Back with Shura)
After taking out a few more scouting parties Shura had arrived at the crash site and needless to say he was surprised with what he found. "By the Void." Shura gasped as he approached the thing as he noted violet armor here and there and what seemed to be exposed flesh from broken bits no doubt because of the crash. What he also noted was the distinct fact that it had teeth in its mouth yet was unmoving at the same time. "What in the name of the Void is this thing?" Shura asked as he walked around the titanic sized creature.
"I'm not sure, get a scan of it, Shura." Lotus ordered and thus Shura went about it
Shura got ready to scan the thing as the size of it caught him by surprise. "It's bigger than an Eidolon." He added while walking around before he began to get the scan the Lotus had asked him for. He had to Scan it several times due to how large it was. Exploring the creature Shura noticed a slot in its neck area a slot that was currently empty. Just below that slot looked to be some sort of port of some kind suggesting it may have been part machine and required an external power source.
"I'm receiving the data now and..." The Lotus trailed off once she got the data but then went silent. "This can't be right." Lotus said and thus Shura got worried for a moment.
"What is it?" Shura asked as the tone she used was one of shock and she rarely ever had that tone.
"The data is pointing that our find is... some kind of Warframe." Lotus spoke to which Shura is surprised by this.
"But that's impossible, its far too large to be a Warframe." Shura said but the Lotus had begged to differ.
"The data matches up to the basic information on Warframes, but the question remains on who or what built it and why they sent it here." Lotus said as Shura pitied the Tenno who tried to get this built in a Foundry.
But before Shura could voice any possible theories Ordis was heard. "Operator I've intercepted Grineer radio transmissions and there is something extremely large approaching your location and it seems hostile." Ordis voiced cut in and thus Shura was confused.
"What is it?" Shura asked but Ordis could not describe what it was that he was seeing.
"I believe you need to see it for yourself, Operator." Ordis said and thus Shura sighed and figured he might as well. Thus, activating his Archwing Shura flew upward to the sky to see what it was that has Ordis and the Grinner in a tizzy.
Once Shura and Umbra got a good airborne vantage point Shura was wide eyed over what he was looking at. "This day just keeps getting better and better." Shura said with a sarcastic tone as he saw the massive creature. He watched how it sent an energy spike outward taking out several Grineer ships with it while it progressed towards it prize. Every so often the creature would look around its body ignoring the Grinner like bugs before continuing its progress.
"Lotus, are you seeing this?" Shura asked as he saw the massive creature continuing its progress.
"Yes, and I'm trying to make sense of it." Lotus said as she went over the data. "Something of that size and build should have collapsed under its own weight." She added which Shura then saw something.
"Wait what was that?" Shura asked noting an energy field that popped into existence as a larger Grineer Attack tried to hit it.
"It seems to be some sort of deployable energy field nothing seems able to break through it." the Lotus said as Shura had an idea but with that sort of size, they may need something bigger. "Shura fall back we need to regroup with the other Tenno and plan some way to contain or eliminate that creature." Lotus said but then Shura looked to the crash site.
"Or maybe we need to fight big with big." Shura said and thus he began to fly down to where the violet giant had crash landed.
"Shura wait do you honestly plan to perform Transference with that thing?" Lotus asked to which Shura smirked a bit.
"We have no other choice something of that size has already made a threat of itself and if it's allowed to wander to a densely populated area, we'll be looking at severe casualties." Shura said once his feet touched the ground and detached the Archwing.
"But it doesn't utilize Orokin technology you have no idea what it will do to you." Lotus said her voice edged with concern.
"Operator please listen to the Lotus and reconsider this plan of action." Ordis begged as he did not want Shura to meet a gruesome end or worse.
"We don't have a choice." Shura said and in turn he exited Umbra and then looked to the giant they found. "Besides the Drifter was able to control a massive dragon this is no different like riding a bike." Shura said and in turn he focused on the massive machine before him. For all he knew this might end badly for him, but he'd rather try now then wait to let that creature rampage and kill hundreds of innocent lives. Then with his right-hand Shura reached out and began the Transference process sending his Void into this alleged oversized Warframe. The energy flew from his hand and soon enough Shura vanished into the massive titan.
(With Shura)
Shura's eyes flashed open as he found himself in traveling through a tunnel of multiple colors. Looking around he felt his mind was melding with the titan much like it did with his Warframe. As he proceeded, he soon found himself in what looked to be the ocean. Looking around for a moment Shura tried to make sense of where he was and how he got here. "What is this?" Shura asked as he found it to be the oddest form of Transference he had ever seen. He then turned around and saw a woman standing there in clothing he'd never seen before. "Who are..." Shura asked but before he could finish the entire world went up in a void of white.
"Shinji." A woman was heard just as Shura felt his awareness return to him.
(Real World)
Shura eyes flashed open and found himself staring at the ground. Gritting his teeth Shura punched his fist into the ground to push himself up. As he rose, he noticed that his face had been pushed up against trees and more so that his movements felt sluggish. He couldn't exactly describe it, but it honestly felt like he had a massive weight all over his body as he got up. He noted he lacked any hub icons he normally had with his Warframe and Necramech so that might have been a factor. At the same time, it also felt like it was fighting against him this thing he was using Transference with.
"Lotus? Can you hear me? Please respond." Shura requested but got nothing from the other hand save for static. "Static this thing may not be calibrated to our communication codes." Shura said once he rose to his feet. He glared at his foe as it took note of his presence both glaring at each other ready to fight.
'Just like operating a Warframe just on a colossal size." Shura said and thus he began his approach against the creature taking the first step. His first step was a success much to his surprise. "Ok so far so good." Shura said as he then took the second step. But when he did so the next bit was not as easy as he thought as he then fell over with the titan crying out in shock. Shura managed to but his hands up and stop himself from falling completely which was a miracle in of itself.
"Damn it's not like operating a Warframe or a Necramech these systems its outdated, and the size difference ratio is too large between this and what I'm used to using." Shura cursed as he realized he was in deep shit. He then heard movement and went wide eyed when he saw a shadow tower over him. Looking to the source Shura was shocked when he saw the creature towering over him. "SHIT!" Shura cursed and was then grabbed by the creature which hoisted him up by the head.
"Get your hands off me!" Shura called out and began to send punch after punch into the creature's arm to force it to release him. So far, his punches did nothing to it and even then, if he got free, he would not be able to do much until he figured this thing out. He then swung his legs and proceeded to kick the creature right in the red orb on its chest area. This caused the enemy to reel back and drop Shura who then rolled out of the way.
"That spot... it seemed to panic when I hit it. A weak point?" Shura wondered to himself as he tried to figure out how to approach this fight. Getting back up Shura got ready to fight some more as he began to circle around his foe. He didn't have any weapons to fight with nor did he have a way to face this foe head on with how sluggish this titan he operated was. Just then the creatures' eyes flashed and in turn Shura was knocked down by the creature with a blast shaped like a cross. Shura knew for a fact that an energy attack that should not be possible. But he had no time to consider it as the creature had him pinned again and thus lifted hip up making sure to keep Shura at a distance. It took it a step further and grabbed his arm before it bulked up.
"Oh shit." Shura cursed and then it began the creature began to pull and squeeze on his arm causing him to feel an extreme form of pain. Shura of course gritted his teeth through it as he had to think fast. Refusing to go down without a fight Shura used his free arm to punch the creature's arm that held his face. Then it happened a snapping sound and thus Shura felt his left arm break from all the pressure forced on it. Shura knew it was not his actual arm but it sure did feel like it. The lower left arm went limp from the snap and thus the creature began to proceed with its attack. The elbow of the arm that held Shura's face began to extend backward while glowing before it began slamming back in striking the beast in the face. Shura roared in pain and kept trying to fight back but to no avail.
Soon enough the sound of cracking was heard before the spike shot through the titan's helm and slamming said giant into a nearby mountain side. The result was the violet-colored beast going down and soon enough a crimson spray shot out from both ends of the head where the spike had pierced through.
Shura laid there for a moment as he gritted his teeth over what had happened. 'Dammit how can you be this stupid!? You're a Tenno you should have been smart enough not to utilize something untested and unknown like this!' Shura scolded himself as the creature began to approach. 'Of course, you had to be noble trying to save people instead of focusing on the mission we had time before that thing made it to a populated area a new plan could have been made!' Shura scolded himself as he tried to think of how to get out of this. "Dammit! Dammit! DAMMIT!" Shura cursed aloud but then felt something strange a feeling he only felt when he had to try to tame Umbra.
Then a new voice spoke one Shura did not know the origin of. "No... not again, not this time." A female voice spoke and thus Shura felt himself being made to take the backseat. The beasts' eyes flashed to life and from there it became a matter of what was about to happen. The massive Warframe had awoken as it took a stand once more its maw releasing steam before it began roaring out in fury against the foe.
Glaring at its opponent the bird faced creature took a nervous step back from the scene before it. Taking a step forward it flung itself directly at the enemy and landed on top of it. How the black bone armored creature supported this weight was a mystery in of itself. The violet creature then began to tear into its enemy in an attempt to brutally kill it here and now. The unknown creature tried to hold it off, but the roaring beast jumped back off and spun in the air before landing facing away from its enemy.
Turning back to face it's for the beast ran directly towards the bird face monster. But once more the unknown creature created its energy field to defend itself. The creature proved itself capable of defending its person with this field as the massive beast tried to break through the barrier. Just then the violet covered beast reached back with its broken arm and began to summon forth Void Energy to repair the damage.
Once the arm snapped back into place the violet beast it produced a set of claws from its hands that were radiating with Void Power. It dug into the barrier and proceeded to brutally tear it open showing that energy beats energy. The monster then fired another cross beam in a vain attempt to hold back this foe, but it was useless as it stood its ground. The unknown titan then grabbed its victims' arms and proceeded to tear them both off to prevent it from doing what it did before.
Then with its free hand grabbed one of its bone spikes and with a powerful kick tore both spike and arms off of the creature. It tossed aside the arms before charging in with the bone spike as a makeshift knife. It then proceeded to pin down the now broken monster and began to jam the bone spike into the red core proving it to be a weak point. It didn't stop there as it then went on to jam it in deeper almost like it was trying to end this fight right here and right now.
The creature with a bone face would not allow it to end this way. If it must give up its life, then it shall take this old beast and the devil who occupied it down with it. It then launched itself at the violet creature and wrapped its body around its head. Once that was done the core gave off a powerful glow before proceeding to self-destruct on the spot creating another crater on the site. The entire area was covered in smoke as it seemed that nothing had survived the incident.
Nearby the Landing Craft flew in as Ordis was trying to find Shura. "Operator!? Operator!" Ordis cried out as he had lost communication with Shura when he had performed Transference with this monstrosity. Just then movement was heard and from the smoke the massive beast began to walk out of it. It had its right hand curved seemingly holding something.
Ordis said it but before he could move in Umbra was on the case. He flew straight for the hand and upon landing saw that Shura was passed out. Umbra checked Shura over and found that he still had a pulse which was good news to say the least. Shura began to come too as soon the face plate of the large creature began to come undone before falling to the ground bellow. Shura, Umbra, and Ordis were then given a full view of what laid below the armor and needless to say if they didn't believe it was similar to a Warframe they were believers now.
"What the hell?!" Shura asked with eyes widen in shock. Needless to say, this was a sight that Shura would not be forgetting anytime in the near future. But unknown to many of them several old forces were on the move once more with the return of the prize they waited on for millennia to return.

A man in old worn robes saw the entire battle take place from his hiding spot deep in the mountains. He smirked as he had finally been given his chance to take back what rightfully belonged to him. It had taken him lifetimes to get where he was now manipulating others to reach his end goal.
"It begins again... welcome home, Evangelion Unit 01." The man said looking to the Beast who had returned from the stars. He then looked to his hand as there seemed to be a bit of shaking in them suggesting nerve damage. "Yui please wait for me." The man said and thus he took his leave he had a few final preparations for his scenario to restart after untold amounts of time.
