Chapter Text
The final war for peace happened. It ended like always.
Anos's pov:
The battle happened like always. Kanon became the hero and the demon king of trinity became tge villain like always. The only thing is this time there was a big chance Anos will really die. No this time Anos was meant to die. But Anos is someone who could bend every law of the universe. Yet he couldn't control his emotions. That were overwhelming him. Or he never wanted to control it. Beacause this was the only thing that made him alive.

After the final battle for peace with Kanon. No. Now it was Lay. But he would always be Kanon for Anos. It had been a while since Kanon killed him. But of course he was the great demon king so he was able to revive himself.
But being able to kill him was a great achievement itself. And only Kanon was able to do it. That's why for 2000 years they had to he had to be killed by him. Even though the last thing he wanted was to be killed by him. Kanon had sacrificed his whole life for the sake of peace and Anos had helped him achieve it. Anos had also dreamed of peace but he never was that hungry for it. He knew he would be able to survive even within war. But he wanted a good environment for the person he cared for.
After the war a rumor was flying around that Anos was dating the Necron twins. And to be honest the did look like a perfect couple. But the only problem was that Anos, from the beginning had only eye for a particular one. The one who taught him to live his life. Before this Anos was living. No not living. Fighting to be the strongest. He had already spent all the emotions learned from that person on that person.
And now he was seeing that person with someone else. It was hurting him like thousands of swords pierced into him. Still he refused to let go any of the emotions he had for that person. Anos could have forgotten that person easily but he refused to do so cause he realized once he removes those feelings he would loose himself. So he promised himself that he would see his most important one with others for eternity than moving on from that person. Moving on wasn't an option for Anos so the more appropriate word would be forgetting that person. .

Lay's pov:
Today the Necron twins had invited Misa and Lay for a party at Anos's house. There was a rumor that they were dating Anos. Lay first thought it was a rumor but then he started seeing Necron twins being soo close to Anos that he was believing those rumors.
Lay had always thought Anos as his savior, hero and a best friend. So it stung a little that his best friend hadn't shared this news with him. For some reason his heart is hurting a lot since he heard the news. Maybe cause Anos hadn't shared the news with him. Well it must have felt some kind of betrayal to him. Well it must have.
He and Misa had been dating since before the war. It's not like he had told that to Anos specifically. Well everyone already knew so he didn't think to inform his best friend. A part of him thought Anos must have the same reason to but the other part didn't wanted accept that Anos was dating someone.
He was the one who understood Anos better than anyone else. As much as understood Anos he knew Anos understood him just as much. They had always been the first one to know if something happened to the other. Buy now it felt like he doesn't know his friend at all. Anos had been distanced since they had came to the human school. And he didn't know why.
Or maybe he was so immersed into dating Misa that he was the one that distanced himself. But what can he do? It was the first time in 2000 years that he had loved no dated someone. And he truly loved Misa. He must have. Afterall he had presented Misa the twin shells that represents being lovers in all life.
Still he couldn't understand anything. Anything happening to him at all. Was he at the fault for his and Anos's cracked friendship or he was just reading too much into it.
Maybe Anos hadn't found anything strange at all. Maybe he was just overthinking. Afterall demons had never known emotions very well. Anos May have learned some but as far as he remembered Anos never had understood emotions as well as the other demons. You could say those destined to be demon kings are not suitable for human emotions.
