Chapter Text
“How did you get your hands on this vehicle again, Amagi?”, HiMERU was sitting in the passenger seat, looking at Crazy:B’s leader and current driver with a very pissed off expression and his arms crossed in front of his chest. Kohaku and Niki were seated on the back seats, and didn’t look very happy about the sudden kidnap from the redhead either. Sure, Crazy:B’s schedule was quite empty at the moment, and would be for the following week, but having their luggage packed and being stuffed into a car without a timely warning? HiMERU wasn’t the only one who wanted answers. Very quick answers.
“Rinne-kun, you know I have work at the Café! Why did you have to kidnap us!?!”, Niki was pissed as well, and at the brink of tears if HiMERU just heard him right. He was lucky to have Kohaku beside him, who was petting his shoulder quietly with one hand und starred at the back of Rinne’s head with an expecting death glare. Otherwise the cloud grey-haired male would’ve really been in tears by now, or would’ve done something completely different.
“Explain, Rinne-han.”
“Kyahaha~ No need ta worry! I took care o’ everythin’!”, the flame red-haired hyena tried to sooth the tension. “Niki-kyun, you’ll have a break for the whole week!”, the long-haired male didn’t know if he should be shocked, surprised or relieved. “Talked to yer boss about it, and they gave green light on your break when I promised that they won’t see the rest of us for the rest of the month in the café.”
“Haaaaaa…”, at first Niki needed some seconds to register the information before heaving a long and relieved sigh, and then fell back against the seat with one hand on his chest. He didn’t lose his job as a chef, that was good!
“I talked to Madara about this lil trip too, so don’ worry Kohaku-chan~”, a wide grin spread across Rinne’s face when he witnessed the sakura-haired youth relax a bit through the rear-view mirror. As the other perked up again he added: “The agencies know about it as well, ‘n gave their blessin’s!”
“…Can I really trust you on this?”, Kohaku murmured with a thoughtful expression after leaning back against his seat, knowing that the other couldn’t really see it.
“Did I ever do somethin’ to harm my sweet lil honey bees?”, the others knew he had a point.
“…Please answer the question Amagi”, came a low and frustrated growl from the passenger seat, after no one answered his rhetoric question. HiMERU couldn’t look at their driver, so he massaged the bridge of his nose with one thumb, pointer and middle finger. He was glad that their leader could take responsibility when needed, but he was still peeved about this whole action. According to the sky blue-haired male Rinne should’ve talked to them beforehand, instead of randomly stuffing them into a car and therefore gambling with his luck yet again…
“Kyihihi~ Wanna guess, Merumeru?”, came the answer with a playful tilt.
“Should HiMERU give a full deduction?”, he raised one thin eyebrow in challenge, still keeping his eyes closed.
“Let us hear ya sing lil bee~”, if this unit wouldn’t be so important to him, HiMERU would’ve shoved one hand into Rinne’s wide grinning face right away.
“Eyes on the road”, was the only thing he said before looking out of the window by his side.
“Where do you even take us to?”, asked Niki after a while of silence, looking out of the window with a confused expression and a big invisible question mark over his head. Kohaku looked at their driver curiously, for he asked himself the same question.
“Oh~ You’ll love it!”, was all the answer to Niki’s question, before the redhead turned the radio on.

The environment changed more and more the longer they drove. Over this period of time Rinne had to stop at least twice to refill the car with fuel. Some time after the second refuelling stop there was an almost competitive silence on the back seats. This caused HiMERU to look back at his other unit mates.
At first he saw Kohaku.
He had his backpack on his lap, which he fished out of the trunk right at the first stop. Laying on of the object were his crossed arms, making the smooth fabric look baggy under the force of gravity. Halfway on top of his arms was Kohaku’s face, slightly squished by the force of gravity too. The vibrations of the driving vehicle caused a bit of movement, so it was no surprise to HiMERU to see the sakura-haired boy’s mouth slightly open, probably drooling a bit on his arms and backpack.
It was rare to see their youngest this relaxed, and HiMERU was almost tempted to wake him because of his sleeping position. Almost. He knew that the boy had more work on his plate with Double Face than the rest of Crazy:B, so he let him catch up on seemingly much needed sleep. Plus, the sight was too adorable, but he would never say that out loud to anyone.
Right behind his seat he could see Niki almost slumping over, if it weren’t for the seatbelt holding him in place. The grey-haired chef had his satchel on his lap as well, with his arms lazily wrapped around it. Niki didn’t need to fish for his bag in the trunk because of the emergency food he had in it. Rinne just hadn’t given it to him right away, but had stored it under the front window right in front of HiMERU’s feet. Said male gave the bag to the whining young man right after the first stop, even though the redhead protested at first. After Niki had been able to eat something he became calmer again, and just fell asleep just before the second stop. In the time that went by his head had dropped forward, letting his hair partially cover his face. Similar to Kohaku, Niki’s mouth had dropped open a bit as well. One could even hear the tiniest bit of a quiet snore coming from the greyhead.
HiMERU knew that he would tell a pretty bad lie if he said that this wasn’t cute. And knowing how much the other loved his stressful position as a chef, he let him sleep as well.
Upon ending this thought the blue-haired male felt something poke his thigh and looked down, seeing their driver hand his smartphone to him with a lopsided sneer.
“Take a photo for me?”, he asked in a lower volume so he wouldn’t wake one of the others.
HiMERU observed the other for a few moments with a wary gaze, before taking the phone and activating the camera. At first he pointed the lens at each of the others from the middle and took a photo. Then he made another photo from the perspective of the doors so there was also a picture from the both of them, with Niki in the front and a bit of a clearer view on his face, and Kohaku a tad further away with his arm covering half of his face.
“Can ya post the last one on Hand-holds for me?”, came the next question, when the other awake half of the unit turned back to the front. Rinne even had one hand stretched out, so he could unlock the function and opportunity for the other.
“Not without their consent”, HiMERU thought that his answer to this request had every right to have a slightly snarky tint.
“Oh c’mon!”
“There’s no need to sound all whiny. If you got their verbal permission to post this picture, you can do it Amagi.”
“Meeeh”, the other first grumbled before letting his eyes wander to the passenger seat. “Hey, don’t keep my phone-“
“HiMERU suggests you keep your eyes on the road, Amagi!”, the little dangerous undertone in his voice seemed to do the trick, because the redhead averted his eyes back on the road before them. Not without a little pout on his lips of coarse.
“Yer such a spoilsport, ya know that?”, the pout was even present in his voice.
“And you are still our kidnapper”, came the instant retort, before the sky blue-haired male turned towards the other. Before continuing their conversation he took a glance at the others to see if they were still sleeping or not. Luckily both of them were still within the realm of slumber. “From his little research since the past few hours of this road trip HiMERU says that you are dragging us along to the next destination of Alkaloid. Your brother’s unit”, if Rinne wanted to say something or even deny what the smaller one just said, he was doing a better job by imitating a fish that was stranded at land. “You could’ve talked to Hiiro about that without dragging all of us with you.”
“…If this is about Kazehaya-“, at the mention of the other idol, HiMERU felt his blood boil instantly.
“This is not about him, but you just kidnapping the rest of this unit without even talking to us in any way!”, he tried to stay somewhat quiet but couldn’t stop a hissing enter his voice. “If you see HiMERU as a spoilsport, then this makes you just impossible, Amagi!”
There came no answer from his unit leader, who decided it was best to keep quiet for a while. Inwardly HiMERU appreciated the thought and action, looking out the window again and studying the environment fly past them. He tried to calm down again, knowing very well that anger was inappropriate at the moment.
After what felt like half an hour of silence later Rinne raised his voice cautiously.
“I know yer’d like to snap his head off his shoulders if it would make the past better, but ya also know that this isn’t possible”, a short glance towards the passenger seat let ocean blue and gold meet, before the former wandered back to the street in front. “But that’ll never happ’n. Someday you’ll have to get rid of the majority of this hatred. ‘Specially when it’s perhaps for s’meone else, ya know? All this hatred, frownin’ an’ glarin’ will give ya some pretty ugly wrinkles someday~”, this just earned him a disgruntled sigh and a facepalm from his comrade, which elicited the redhead’s typical hyena-like laughter to resonate in the car.
The sudden laughter managed to startle Kohaku back into the waking world, causing him to look around to orientate himself first before looking drowsily to the front seats. “Wha’s so funny?”
“Nothing, Oukawa. Amagi just saw his own face in the mirror.”
“Hey!”
