Dark's house
" Did you hear what happened last night at Brie and Harry's house? Linda asks as she walks into the room with Dominic and Eric
" My phone is off, Dark replies as she turns around
" How are you feeling nipote? Dominic asks
" Five by five, Dark replies," now what happened with Brie and Harry
" Someone broke into their house and poured pig's blood everywhere, Linda replies," in every single room everything is covered in it
" That's horrible, Eric replies as he notices that Dark has no reaction to the news at all
" Brie is staying with me and Danny until she gets a chance to clean the house up, Linda replies
" She might want to get hazmat team to clean up the house instead, Dark replies," pigs blood is considered a bio hazard.
67th precinct
" We got home last night from visiting a friend and the entire room was covered in this awful stuff, Harry says as he sits down next to Brie and across from YB and Kevin
" Do you have any idea who could do something like this? Kevin asks
" We think that it has something to do with this letter,Brie replies as Harry starts to go pale
" Sir are you okay? YB asks
" Harry, what's wrong? Brie asks as Harry falls out of the chair and onto the floor
" Call a bus we have an emergency, Kevin yells as he checks Harry's breathing
Dark's house at the same time
" Call me if you need anything, Dominic says as he kisses Dark's forehead and walks out of the house with Eric
" What the hell is going on with you? Linda asks
" Nothing, Dark replies as she returns to dusting the living room
" NOTHING, NOTHING, Linda exclaims," I just told you that someone broke into Brie house and you are acting like it doesn't mean anything to you
" If you are expecting me to have a reaction to a police matter then you are wasting your time, Dark replies," I simply don't want to get involved especially since I am still under suspension
" For how long? Linda asks," Slone already told Danny and Joe that Rupert suspended you for three weeks and it's been two months and you still haven't returned to work
" So what, Dark replies," maybe I have no interest in the job anymore
" Sissy, I am starting to get worried about you, Linda replies," you love the challenge of your job," what's going on with you
" I don't want to talk about it, Dark replies," I have something I need to work through
" Does it have to do with Leonidas Collins? Linda asks
" No Linda it has to do with Melinda Isobel Sofia Hawkins Glaslow, Dark replies," it has to do with something I locked up inside of myself and now I'm not sure if it's going to stay there anymore
" What are we going to do about Brie and Harry? Linda asks
" Let the NYPD handle it, Dark replies," I am not in the right headspace to work right now
St.Marys hospital
" What do we got? Nurse Alice asks
" Male 51 unresponsive,BP is 189/ 150,pulse is tacky, the EMT replies as they push the gurney in the emergency room with Harry lying still on top
Federal building conference room
" If Rupert only suspended Dark for three weeks then why the hell isn't she back yet? Mason asks
" We don't know, Slone replies," no one has been able to reach Dark by phone in over three weeks and the last time I spoke to her she said that she was taking one month off to work though some stuff
" Why would she say one month and turn her phone off after two months have gone by? Connor asks
" Melinda is taking some time off for self care, Slone replies calmly," we currently don't have any cases so we should get all paperwork done before she returns
" Slone, I've known both you and Dark for years and I have never known her to just walk away like this, Razor replies," is she truly okay
" I don't know Razor, Slone replies," I really don't know
Danny and Linda's house
" I went and told Melinda what happened to Brie and Harry and it was like she didn't care, Linda says as she sits next to Danny
" Slone says that he went to her house three weeks ago to give her back her badge and she just tossed it in a drawer and asked if there was something else he needed and if not then he needed to go because she didn't want company and he also said that she wouldn't talk to anyone from the Rhys-Collins family, Danny replies
" Danny, I am scared that something is troubling my sister and she is refusing to talk to or see anyone, Linda replies as her phone rings
" Hey Brie, what did the police say? Linda asks as she answers her phone
" Can you please come to St.Marys hospital? Brie asks," Harry collapsed and I don't know what to do
" Danny and I will be there shortly, Linda replies as she hangs up the phone and grabs her keys and purse
" Let's go check on Brie and Harry and then we will go check on Dark, Danny says as he drives away from the house
